SteelPenn
I play this game and would love to get a few of us playing. Does anyone play this game? http://mmatycoon.com/images/1296342352912-1.jpg

I'm still playing Civ 4 at the moment. (I recommend you download "Rhye's and Fall" mod if you have Civ 4.) I don't know if I'll get Civ 5 because everything I heard and read says it has "dumbed down" for console players. Anyway, multiplayer.. Multiplayer just doesn't suit Civ. Even with the best people, a decent game is so hard to organise and finish that it's not worth it in the end. Sadly, it's just too frustrating. I must have sat down to 100 MP games and I don't think even one ever got finished. Nice to know some other players here though!
TheRedDude
I play civ 5 on steam, only started and completed 1 whole match with a friend so far, took us like 11 hours over 3 days, dragged out due to skype chat

Is Civ 5 really "dumbed down"? The hexagonal maps look great but I heard they took a lot of the detailed management away.

I wouldn't bother buying if you already have the old ones, just sacrificing depth for detail. Unless it's on steam for a steal of course.
