marioufc420
FCD 24 Preview (written by Papa Papito) Manuel "Boxer" Castro vs David Ibragimov This heavyweight fight will be featuring the "Boxer" Castro vs another Boxer Ibragimov. They have the same, equal stats and this fight will prove who the better boxer is. Can Ibragimov outsmart Castro and achieve his first win? Or will Castro show that he's too much for Ibragimov? FCD 24 will answer these questions. Andre Alvarez vs Frank Sierra Alvarez vs Sierra will be a good fight with Alvarez being slightly better in the stand-up game whilst Sierra is slightly better on the ground with his submissions. Alvarez should be contented preventing the fight from going to the ground because he know Alvarez can outgrapple him on the ground. Carl "The Zombie" Romero vs Brandon "The Cook" Baldwin The Zombie vs The Cook will be what's cookin tonight and it will be a fun match-up with the both of them having a 2-2-0 record. Romero should have no problem in punching his way to victory but he needs to defend well against Baldwin's takedowns. Dane Stuart vs Burrhus Frederic "FireHawk" Skinner The fearsome kicker vs the all-around firehawk will be putting on one hell of a show that will thrill us with intense action all way down to the end. Skinner should be wary and cautious all the time because we never know when Stuart will strike with his vicious offense. Akseli "Cave-in" Suokuokka vs Geter Done A young fighter vs a veteran fighter that will showcase both of their equally matched skills and this will be a good one as long as they can get it going smooth and prevent dull moments which would be easy for them because they are both well-versed while standing or in the ground. Dane Mack vs Chuck "The Truck" Huerta Mack vs Huerta will be an exciting match that has a contrast of styles and they will be looking to prove which style is better. Mack would probably be looking to take Huerta down and make quick work of him in the ground but Huerta will prove that he's the better fighter while standing and he should be looking to keep the fight away from the ground. Junior "Indio" Silva vs Jake Wylde Rhoads Silva vs Rhoads plus awesome ground antics means a technical clinic on our way folks! Silva, a black belt will be the more experienced fighter in the ground but it doesn't mean Rhoads won't be able to fight him on the ground. We'll never know because Intelligence is a key in this fight. Let's not forget about their stand-up game that looks like they're matched and both of them will be looking to take the opponent down first before his opponent takes him down. Jason Cook vs Pixar Bonan Like Pixar Bonan's quotation "Jason vs Bonan!!! Gonna be a real battle!!!", It will be a real battle between 2 of the top 5 fighters in the 170 lbs division. It would also be a rematch from their previous fight wherein Jason Cook won via Decision in what was a really entertaining fight. Cook would be the dominant wrestler of the fight but Bonan would be willing to go downtown and put one hell of a fight on the ground. Cook should be cautious because Bonan is the more aggressive fighter in their stand-up game and he's as fierce as Cook in the ground game. It would be a hard-fought battle and this fight has the potential to be a show-stealer if they can work it out. Daley "D.F.B" Borisov vs Andy Bernard The Bantamweight Champion Daley "D.F.B" Borisov defends his gold against Andy Bernard in what will be an exciting match and we are assured to have an awesome ground game from both fighters as a treat. Both are undefeated, both won their victories by submission and I wouldn't be surprised if this match ends with a submission! As opposed to their ground game, Bernard seems to be the more aggressive fighter in the stand-up game because he has superior muay-thai and wrestling skills than Borisov but it doesn't mean Borisov will just give the stand-up game to Bernard, he has better boxing skills and if you've watched his previous matched, he can really make good takedowns and control the ground game in his pace. We will know who is the better fighter of the two after the match because in a fight, you also need to be wise and cunning in making decisions. We will know who deserves to be the Bantamweight Champion. Donnell "Dreamstreet" Richardson vs Nester "Loch Ness Monster" Locke - 185 lbs title For our main event! The undefeated Donnell "Dreamstreet" Richardson faces the undefeated Nester "Loch Ness Monster" Locke in a clash of undefeated warriors striving for the Middleweight gold. The champion Richardson, currently 5-0-0, literally finished all his previous foes with TKOs and a submission. Looks like he doesn't want a fight to end in a decision and he finished all of his fights in the first round! That just proves how intense our current champion is. Meanwhile, the challenger Locke, currently 6-0-0, dominated every opponent placed in front of him and that's one hell of a way to make your name in an organization populated by very talented fighters. This fight won't be a walk in the park for the both of them, both fighters are very well rounded in every aspect and I'm sure they will put one hell of a fight. Only one will win, only one will remain undefeated, only one will become the Middleweight champion!
marioufc420
http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1312757773FCD%2025.jpg FCD 25: Klopfenstein vs Davids Written by: Papa Papito ----------------------------------------- "Kana" Kuroda Atsushi vs Dan "The Tank" Lee Our opening bout starts with "Kana" Atsushi and "The Tank" Lee in what will be a fine match with Lee being the superior boxer while Atsushi will mostly control the ground game. Lee should never let the fight go to the ground because we know Atsushi is a dangerous grappler and his two out of three wins came via submission. This is going to be an exciting fight because of the fact that they have contrasting styles and they will be looking to contain the opponent in the area that they can outmatch them. Rico "The Bull" Santos vs Jack "JT" Thompson This one looks good on the card as Jack "JT" Thompson makes his FCD debut against Rico "The Bull" Santos. Thompson should take Santos as a threat because Santos has already been in the limelight as he main evented FCD 12 and FCD 17. Thompson still has a lot to learn and this fight will be the biggest of his young career while a lot of people might be rooting for Santos, a lot of people is also expecting from him to beat the upcomer. Will Santos be able to revive his career? Or will Thompson manage to pull an upset win and jump start his career in FCD? This one will be an emotional yet still a good fight. Matthew "The Tiny Terror" McAllister vs Fou "The Odor" Rthihovsky "The Tiny Terror" faces "The Odor" is going to be one hell of a good fight with both of them being good submission artists and decent stand-up game. Both of them have the same record (1-1-0) with FCD and they both won and loss via submission. Rthihovsky might have a slight advantage on the ground but we should never question McAllister's guts because he once competed in a title match in a losing effort but that loss just made him more intense and Rthihovsky should take note of that. Meat "Loaf" Brockenstein vs "Quick" Andrew Malinowsky This bout will showcase two fighters that have well-rounded abilities with Brockenstein gaining the far superior boxing of the two. He may be a better boxer but if Malinowsky can take the matters to the ground then it will neutralize his opponent's power as a boxer if he can control him on the ground. They are both well-versed on the ground and it's going to be a matter of who is smarter and who will be the first one to take advantage of the situation. Cody Gunn vs Cliff "The Nutcracker" Sierra This will be Gunn's first fight since losing his match for the title against Yin Tao while Sierra had a good showing in the organization having a record of (4-2-0). Both have good fighting skills with Gunn looking to control the pace of the match as he can take Sierra down because of his superior wrestling skills. If Sierra can make good use of his better Muay-Thai skills then he has a good chance of getting the victory, still, it will be a matter of timing and wise-thinking. Emilia Rutkowska vs Spaz Mcgee Emilia Rutkowska takes on the undefeated Spaz Mcgee. Mcgee has proven to be a formidable foe on the ground but he also proved that he can be lethal while standing. Rutkowska is clearly the better stand-up fighter but if Mcgee can lure him onto the ground then he will have no problem in making his foe tap. Rutkowska should not let things go to the ground as he will experience extreme complications if it happens. Luis Felipe vs "Brutal" Vaj Pounder These fighters are still undefeated and they will be looking to improve their record by breaking the opponent's undefeated record. Both are fearsome BJJ specialists and we're going to experience a very good technical bout. They can mix it up by having a fine stand-up game but once things go down south, that's the time that they will both shine. The finish is either going to be via decision or via submission but I'll bet for a submission finish in this one. Dan "Hendo" Henderson vs Bobby Joe Blythe This bout will be a rematch of the fight of the night of FCD 22: Ramsey vs Sharko. We are guaranteed that this will be a great fight and it is not impossible that it will be rewarded with the fight of the night award if they can keep things interesting. We know they can keep us excited just like what they did in their previous bout. Blythe should have learned from his mistakes and he should have improved his takedown defense as Henderson wrestled his way out of Blythe's stand-up onslaught. Blythe proved that he can be very dangerous when uncontained and he must step-up his game if he wants to even it up with Henderson. "Torch" Grammy Married Sokojuice vs Charlie "Darkness" Murphy The "Torch" vs The "Darkness" for the FCD Heavyweight title. This bout is a potential show-stealer with the champion Sokojuice being matched-up with a formidable opponent in Murphy. Both are great stand-up fighters with Sokojuice being a better boxer while Murphy has better Muay-Thai skills. They also have a good ground-game match-up as they are both blue belts and they can put on some good submission moves. Sokojuice decisively dominated his last bout winning it via submission in the first round in a span of 15 seconds! That's one hell of a dominating champion and that's what Murphy should be aware of. He's facing a very dangerous fighter and he must plan out his game plan carefully because one blink and Sokojuice can knock the lights out of him. "The Monster" Ichabod Klopfenstein vs "Sharp Dressed Man" Brett Davids Our main event of the evening! The Welterweight Champion "The Monster" Ichabod Klopfenstein faces of against the number one contender "Sharp Dressed Man" Brett Davids! This one is another top candidate for the fight of the night award as both men are great all-around fighters and they are looking to prove that they deserve the main event spot of the evening. These two will literally beat the hell out of each other until the bell rings. Davids' dominated his opponents on his way to be the number one contender and he is looking to decimate the champ, but Klopfenstein is one big bad ass fighter that will never back down from anyone. This will be David's toughest match-up of his career. Will he be able to beat the champion or will the champion live up to his moniker and obliterate his opponent? You better not miss this bout because this match has everything that every fan could ask for.

marioufc420
http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1314079269FCD%2026.jpg FCD 26: Ramsey vs Sox Preview Written By: Papa Papito Xander Jacobs vs Liam "The Lion" Erickson Xander Jacobs sporting a professional record of 1-1-0 fights against Liam Erickson with a professional record of 1-2-0 for our opening bout! Jacobs is a very dangerous boxer and he can knock the heck out of you if you blink out on him but Erickson is probably the more aggressive of the two. His aggressiveness is both good and bad for him. It is good because it might slow Jacob's offense and if he plays his cards right, i'm betting he'll win via decision but it is also bad because being aggressive means he can get reckless and if Jacobs caught him off-guard, he will get knocked-out before he knew that there is trouble. Tyrone "The Typhoon" Harris vs Raf Gon Dias Our second bout features the submission specialist Tyrone Harris versus the sensational boxer Raf Gon Dias. This will showcase a contrast of styles but nevertheless, it will still be a good bout. Harris must be warned that he is facing a former Welterweight champion that is ready to obliterate anyone on his path back to the gold. Harris should be looking to put the fight on the ground because it is the only way he can decisively beat him for he will be dominated on the stand-up game. Cain Velasquez vs "The Fight Professor" Stephen Quadros This bout will will be a good one as it features Velasquez, a sprawl-brawl fighter against a remarkable muay thai fighter Quadros. Let us not forget that Quadros can also match up with his wrestling skills. This will be a good striking fight and we'll be anticipating who gets the winning shot. Velasquez is a known counter-striker but will Quadros be able to slip past through his opponent's ability to counter and knock his senses out of him? We will see. Chuck "Gabbo" Smith vs Noah "Pimp Daddy" Ho The remarkable boxer vs the brown belt grappler faces in what will be a good fight with Smith looking to prevent the fight from going to the ground. We know Smith can hold up his own on the ground but not this time, he is facing a very dangerous ground worker in Ho. Ho is a versatile fighter and Smith will be having a tough time controlling the fight as Ho can match-up with him whether it is in the stand-up game or in the ground game. Janek "Glover" Kochanowski vs "The Mexican Outlaw" Octavio Davino Glover versus The Mexican Outlaw! The veteran versus the youngster! This fight will be a contender for the fight of the night award as they are both capable of bringing out their opponent's A game and they are both very versatile fighters and expect this to go anywhere from the stand-up to the clinch to the ground! If Davino can outwrestle Kochanowski, It will be a big factor for him if this fight ends in a decision. Curtis "Razor" Sharp vs George "Rush" St Pierre Sharp vs St Pierre is another contender for the fight of the night honors as Sharp is a good striker whilst St Pierre is the more submission-oriented man in this bout. If St Pierre can take things downtown then it will spell trouble for Sharp but if Sharp manages to prevent the fight from going to the ground then he can soundly control the outcome of the bout. Andy Bernard vs Nick "The iceman" Skerlik Bernard, the former title contender for the Bantamweight championship faces against a former Bantamweight champion in Skerlik. Bernard tasted his first defeat in his previous fight against Borisov but it is okay because he was facing a champion that time and champions are champions because being a champion means dominating anyone on your way. This not be new to Skerlik, a former champion. This technicians will put up a good fight and it will show us who deserves another shot at the title. Who will be able to collect himself and go back to the title race? Anticipate this match and it will surely be worth it. Goro Shinnok vs The "Ultimate" Fighter These two have identical records of 3-1-0 as Shinnok will be making his debut in the organization while Fighter is still undefeated in FCD. Fighter is a pure-bred wrestler and he will surely outwrestle Shinnok in this one. Fighter must be wary of Shinnok's ability to finish fights while standing and on the ground for Shinnok can perform better on the ground. Fighter should be looking to be the less-aggressive guy here and look to fight for decision because he is facing a very dangerous fighter (no pun intended) in Shinnok. Andrej "The Career Killer" Sharko vs Bjorn "The Iceman" Borg This next bout will be a lightweight bout between The Career Killer Sharko against The Iceman Borg. Wow, that is one hell of a scary nickname for Sharko but Sharko is looking to prove it to Borg on this fight. They are finely matched-up as they are both all-around fighters with Sharko getting the edge on boxing whilst Borg getting the edge on muay thai. They are both capable of applying good submissions and expect this fight to be an intense one. "The Kitchen Nightmare" Gordon Ramsey vs El Senor Sox It's main event time! The Kitchen Nightmare" Gordon Ramsey faces off against El Senor Sox for the FCD Lightweight Championship. Wow, this card tonight really has a lot of Fight of the Night candidates and this one is a no-brainer. Our dominating champion in Ramsey has held the title for almost half a year already and that just proves how ferocious this man is. He doesn't want anyone near his championship but Senor Sox is looking to take it from him. Senor Sox is another dominating figure in the org as he is making his debut and this debut will be a big one if he wins the title from Ramsey. Ramsey is the more capable submission artist in the fight but they are equally matched when they are anywhere but the on the ground. They are very good all-around fighters but Senor Sox must prevent things from going to the ground. Even though he can be a good ground and pound fighter, Ramsey is still a dangerous grappler with his brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Expect a breath-taking bout in this one for this will be a hard-hitting, ground breaking, electrifying fight to finish off the night.
marioufc420
http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1314891524FCD%2027.jpg FCD 27: Gabonica vs Crusher Preview Written By: Papa Papito "Rocker" Ralle Pihl vs Yoshi "The Master" Chiba Pihl versus Chiba will open our exciting and intense card as these two fighters are talented strikers and we are expected to see high-impact, hard-hitting action for our opening bout! They are both struggling in their professional careers and this fight is a good time for them to show-off their skills. Pihl still have a lot left in his career as he is fairly young while Chiba must step up his game in this bout. Papa Papito's pick for this fight: Pihl via decision. Thomas "The wrestler" Bader vs Onion Bhaji Chicken Vindaloo Popadom Pilau Rice "The Asian Invasion" Any Ting Ul Do Our second fight features two extremely talented wrestlers that are looking to tear the house down with their slams and takedowns. Thomas "The wrestler" Bader faces off against Onion Bhaji Chicken Vindaloo Popadom Pilau Rice "The Asian Invasion" Any Ting Ul Do, Wow, that is one heck of a long name. Moving on. Bader is also a very good submission machine and i'm not sure if "The Asian Invasion" would be wanting to take him down as he will surely be outplayed on the ground but if he ever pulls of a victory on the ground, It would be a hard pill to swallow for Bader for he has the superior ground fighting skills. Papa Papito's pick for this fight: Bader via submission. Geter Done vs Paul "Crocodile" Dundee This fight is a potential Fight of the Night award candidate as it features Geter Done, The veteran that always put up entertaining fights, against Paul Dundee, a former title contender. Geter Done failed to get rid of his struggling status in his previous fight but he took his opponent to the limit despite being the older one. On the other hand, Dundee is a proficient all-around fighter and he can hang-out with Done in this fight. Don't expect this fight to be one-sided as they are equally matched-up. This one is destined for greatness. Papa Papito's pick for this fight: Geter Done via decision. Jake Wylde Rhoads vs Carl "The Zombie" Romero A former champion in Jake Wylde Rhoads faces off with Carl "The Zombie" Romero in what would be a technical and hard-hitting game. Rhoads can box, takedown or make his opponents tap while Romero is a dangerous Boxer and submission artist. Rhoads should take matters on the ground as he would be in danger in their stand-up game. He should also be careful of Romero's versatility on the ground as they are both purple belts. Papa Papito's pick for this fight: Rhoads via submission. Jason "The Way" Penl vs Art "Brawler" Browley These two all-around fighters are bound to give us a good fight that will keep the crowd up in this action-packed night. Penl will be making his debut in FCD while Browley is looking to follow-up his impressive victory in his debut match in FCD 23. Penl is an up-and-coming fighter to be reckoned on as he has knocked-out and made his opponents tap while Browley is a very fearsome striker as he knocked 5 out of 6 wins but Browley should not be underestimated on the ground as he is a capable grappler and he can make his opponents submit if ever he wants. Penl should capitalize on the fact that he can take matters on the ground and he is slightly better on the ground. Papa Papito's pick for this fight: Browley via decision. Quan Chi vs Brandon "The Cook" Baldwin The undefeated Quan Chi faces off against Brandon Baldwin. This bout features two purple belts and they both have a fairly equal skill in the stand-up game. This should be interesting as Quan Chi would be making his debut match in this fight and i'm sure he will have a hard time in this one as Baldwin is not the type of fighter that you can easily step over. Baldwin is one heck of a tough guy as he takes his opponents to the limit and he never gives up easily. If Quan Chi can outsmart Baldwin and pull if off, I'm sure he'll get the respect that he deserves. Papa Papito's pick for this fight: Baldwin via decision. Dan "The Son of the Phantom" Walker vs Paul Jones Entering the fight with an undefeated record of 4-0-0, Dan Walker stands toe-to-toe with his opponent, sporting a record of 8-3-0, the dangerous Paul Jones! This bout will feature Walker's skills as a submission artist and Jones' muay thai training with kangaroos! Walker would be comfortable to keep the fight on the ground but it will only happen if he will be able to take Jones down. Jones is not a fighter to be underestimated for he has a very devastative kick in his arsenal. He should force the referee standup if he wants to get a shot in this match because he is simply no match on the ground with walker. Papa Papito's pick for this fight: Dan Walker via decision. Jason Cook vs Wesley Loose This match-up is another potential Fight of the Night candidate with these two fighters squaring off each other. Cook, who won two straight victories against his rival Pixar Bonan, is looking to continue his streak against Loose. Loose is a very talented all-around fighter and is looking to redeem himself from his previous loss. Cook lost his only fight in a title match with Ichabod Klopfenstein whom is a real monster is a very dominating fighter that will surely take you down if he caughts you sleeping. If ever things go down to the ground, Loose can be comfortable whether he's on top or on the ground as he is a very capable grappler and i'm sure he can ground and pound his opponent to oblivion. This will be a hard one for Cook but i'm sure it will be a very competitive match-up. Papa Papito's pick for this fight: Loose via decision. Junior "Indio" Silva vs "Two Heads" Tony Thompson Our second to the last bout is a surefire candidate to the Fight of the Night award as the black belter Silva faces off against the excellent all-arounder in Thompson. I'm sure Silva can hold his own on the stand-up game but Thompson clearly has the advantage up there. Thompson MUST not go down to the ground as he will be decisively finished off by Silva down there. You simply cannot fight Silva on the ground, he is a beast down there. Silva should think of a brilliant strategy on how to fight this monster in Thompson as Thompson poses as a giant obstacle in Silva's dominating position on the top of the food chain in their weight division. This bout is going to be an anticipated bout and i'm sure this will be a brutal one. (in a good way) Papa Papito's pick for this fight: Silva via submission. Bitis Gabonica vs Skull Crusher Our dominating Super Heavyweight Champion Bitis Gabonica defends his gold against Skull Crusher in our main event. Gabonica started his career losing his first two fights then winning all the next fights including the FCD Super Heavyweight Title isn't that enough to tell you how big his heart is and how tough this guy is? Meanwhile, Crusher is making his debut in FCD sporting a professional record of 3-2-0 in what will be his biggest fight in his young career. They are both good all-around fighters with the both of them being very versatile strikers and Gabonica is a takedown machine and he will have no problem in taking Crusher down BUT he should be careful as Crusher is a dangerous fighter on the ground. They are both purple belts and it will be a matter of who can control the fight on the ground. These two will tear the house down in this match and it is a no-brainer that it deserves the main-event spot. Papa Papito's pick for this fight: Gabonica via decision.

marioufc420
http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1314891570FCD%2028.jpg FCD 28: Richardson vs Huerta Preview Written By: Papa Papito Theo "The Rock" Rockwell vs Frank Sierra Two talented fighters representing the light heavyweight division will open our exciting night as the talented youngster Theo Rockwell faces of against an all-around fighter in Frank Sierra. They are both looking to end their losing streak as they both lost their two previous bouts. I'm expecting this to be a good opener because they can strike and they can make their opponents submit, it will be a matter of who is more experienced and more intelligent of the two. Papa Papito's Pick: Rockwell via KO. "Smoking" Joe Thumper vs Manuel "Boxer" Castro This fight will be a boxing-fest as these two fighters are very well trained in boxing. Castro needs to win this fight because it looks like he's losing faith in himself as his morale shows. He is a very good boxer but he's proven to be able to make his opponents submit. He's quite dangerous on the ground because of his blue belt, but if Thumper is smart, he will never think of going down to the ground. Papa Papito's Pick: Thumper via Decision. Ren "RARZ`D" Duran vs Dane Mack The former champ Dane Mack will be looking to redeem himself in this fight as he never recovered after losing his championship. Duran is the ideal opponent if he wants to impress the people of Sydney again. Duran is a fearsome ground fighter with good wrestling skills. He is a very good submission artist BUT he is facing one of the best submission fighters on the organization in Mack. Mack is a black belt and he has a slight advantage on the stand-up game. I'm pretty sure things will get very interesting once this goes down to the ground. Papa Papito's Pick: Mack via Submission. Andre Alvarez vs Rico "The Bull" Santos These two guys both won their previous fights and they are confident and decided that they will continue their winning ways but only one can do that and this fight will be the decider. Alvarez is a remarkable boxer and a good wrestler but he is facing a good wrestler and a good grappler in Santos. Alvarez will get decimated on the ground so he must be ready to sprawl when the takedowns come to him. Timing will be a key factor in this fight. Papa Papito's Pick: Santos via Decision. Choi Siwon vs "Time 2" Justin Hale Two brown belts from the welterwight division will be clashing in our next bout. Siwon is the better wrestler of the two but Hale is the better striker and even if Siwon can take Hale down, it will be an equal battle on the ground as they are evenly matched but if Hale can control the pace of the fight and keep things on his way, his striking skills will shine in the fight. Papa Papito's Pick: Hale via Decision. Takeshi "Turbo" Yuudai vs "The Green Machine" Doran Connell "Turbo" versus "The Green Machine" is a fight that will surely be anticipated. Two very versatile fighters facing each other, that is clearly a formula for success. Yuudai is the better submission artist of the two as he is a brown belt whilst Connell has a purple belt but Connell is the slightly better striker of the two. They have a slight advantage on each other that is purely based on their positioning. Yuudai better watch out for his muay thai strikes or else he will be knocked out for good. Papa Papito's Pick: Yuudai via Submission. Nate "The" Great vs Pixar Bonan Nate The Great faces of the dangerous Pixar Bonan. These two contrast each other as Great is a BJJ brown belt while Bonan is a blue belt but Bonan must not be udnerestimated, Great will only have the advantage on the ground and that will only happen IF he can take Bonan down. Bonan is a wrestling beast and he can easily defend Great's takedowns. If Bonan can prevent himself from going down, i'm sure he will completely dominate Great on the stand-up game. Papa Papito's Pick: Bonan via KO. "Starship Trooper" Johnnie Rico vs David Ibragimov Rico is a sensational boxer and a blue belt while Ibragimov is a wonderful boxer and also a blue belt. Rico clearly has the advantage everywhere as he also has better muay thai and wrestling skills. Ibragimov should look to fight for decision but if he is intelligent enough, he can capitalize on Rico's mistake(if ever he'll make one) and try to knock Rico out. It will be a matter of timing and technique. These two heavyweights will make their division proud with this one as i'm sure it will be a hard-hitting bout and Bitis Gabonica, our current Super Heavyweight Champ, should take notice. Does Johnnie Rico deserve another shot? Or will Ibragimov pull off the biggest upset of the night? We'll find out! Papa Papito's Pick: Rico via KO. "Torch" Grammy Married Sokojuice vs Meat "Loaf" Brockenstein Our co-main event is a fight for the Heavyweight Title as Sokojuice defends his title against Brockenstein. This will be a hard-hitting and impactful bout as these two are capable of bringing out a Fight of the Night caliber match and this one will be exciting as Brockenstein is still undefeated and it will be a streak vs title match. Brockenstein proved that he deserves to be respected as a fighter and decimated his opponent on his debut match in this organization, finishing him in a mere 39 seconds in the first round. Meanwhile, Sokojuice has been on a hot streak since winning the title and he wants us to know that he owns the title it looks like he doesn't have plans on taking a back seat to other people. It is clear that before you become the Heavyweight champion, you must play first with the Torch and just like the old saying, Do not play with fire. Fire = Torch. Get it? Good. Papa Papito's Pick: Sokojuice via KO. Donnell "Dreamstreat" Richardson vs Chuck "The Truck" Huerta Our main event of the evening is a streak versus streak fight also with the Light Heavyweight Title on the line! Richardson has been a very impressive fighter as he carries a professional record of 6-0-0. He really dominated everyone that got placed in front of him. Huerta is another impressive fighter, sporting a professional record of 3-0-0, He beat a former champ in Dave Mack, the same fighter wherein Richardson won the title belt. Huerta is a very dominating boxer and he also has very good wrestling skills while our champ, Richardson, is a very excellent wrestler and a good submission artist. Huerta has the edge on the stand-up game but if Richardson manages his way down to the ground, it will spell trouble for Huerta. This is a no-brainer fight of the night candidate and i'm pretty sure these two will be able to deliver a good one. Papa Papito's Pick: Richardson via Submission
marioufc420
http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1315714225FCD%2029.jpg FCD 29: Klopfenstein vs Gunn Written By: Papa Papito Jack "JT" Thompson vs "The Encore" Waldo Desecondit Our evening starts with two youngsters facing off each other looking to earn their first win on the organization. Both are well-trained boxers and they also have the ability to wrestle but Desecondit seems to be the better man on the ground so Thompson must be wary of Desecondit's BJJ abilities. Papa Papito's Pick: Desecondit via Submission. Matthew "The Tiny Terror" McAllister vs Frank "Not Franz" Ferdinand The second match of the evening will feature Matther McAllister's all-around skills against Frank Ferdinand's wonderful boxing abilities. Ferdinand will surely dominate McAllister on their stand-up game if McAllister would let his defense get outmatched by Ferdinand's offense, his only option to fight is by taking the fight to the ground. He's a good grappler and he won his two victories by means of submission and if he can take Ferdinand down, Ferdinand would be in really big trouble. Papa Papito's Pick: McAllister via Submission. The "Ultimate" Fighter vs Cain Velasquez Fighter is a very good wrestler that can take an elephant down to the ground, Ofcourse, that was a joke but jokes aside, he really is a good one. He has decent striking skills but he also has poor grappling skills. He must be lucky because his opponent, Velasquez , also has poor grappling skills so we shouldn't expect a grappling clinic from these two tonight. Velasquez is the better striker but Fighter is the superior wrestler, If Velasquez can avoid Fighter's takedown attempts then it will surely help him gain scores in his card and so he can focus on punching his way to victory but anything can happen in MMA. We'll never know what can happen. Papa Papito's Pick: Fighter via Decision. Dan "Hendo" Henderson vs "Quick" Andrew Malinowsky Henderson is a purple belt and he is a good wrestler. You should never underestimate what he can do because he is a proven fighter in the organization, meanwhile, Malinowsky is a young fighter that is still looking for his first victory in the organization and it won't get much sweeter if he can upset Henderson in this one. He is the better striker of the two but I don't think he can handle Henderson's takedowns in this one but IF he trained his takedown defense enough then it looks like he still has a chance. Papa Papito's Pick: Henderson via Submission. Luis Felipe vs "Kana" Kuroda Atsushi Luis Felipe faces off against Kuroda Atsushi our fifth bout of the evening. Felipe is an all-around fighter and he has the superior BJJ of the two, sporting a purple belt. He is a dangerous fighter looking to impress his fellow welterweights and he would be glad to make Atsushi taste his first defeat in the organization. Atsushi is a very strong wrestler but on paper, Felipe edges him a lot. Papa Papito's Pick: Felipe via Submission. Curtis "Razor" Sharp vs Raf Gon DIas These two brawlers will surely put up one hell of a brawl tonight with Gon Dias being the better striker of the two while Sharp can also take the matters down to the ground. Sharp is a purple belt and is very deadly on the ground game. He is also the better wrestler in this fight so he would probably have no problem in scoring a takedown. Gon Dias is a former champion that enjoyed a lengthy reign until he lost to Ichabod Klopfenstein. He won his previous fight will Sharp is still undefeated in the organization. If Gon Dias can prevent the fight from going down to the ground, he will likely be the favourite of the two on the striking area. You should never underestimate a former champion's ability. Papa Papito's Pick: Sharp via Submission. Andy Bernard vs Noah "Pimp Daddy" Ho A good match-up is coming up next! Andy Bernard is a good wrestler and grappler and he can also strike thus making him a versatile fighter. Meanwhile, Noah Ho is also an all-around fighter with a higher grade belt. Bernard is purple while Ho is brown belt. Ho won his debut fight in the organization and grabbed the sub of the night honors. Bernard is currently struggling, losing his two previous fights but nevertheless, he always puts up a good fight so expect this fight to be a good one, a potential fight of the night candidate. Papa Papito's Pick: Ho via Submission. Charlie "Darkness" Murphy vs Akseli "Cave-in" Suokuokka These are two former title contenders that lost to Sokojuice. Both are looking to regain their momentum and they will prove who deserves another shot at the gold. They are both versatile fighters and it will be hard for me who to pick this time because they are very well matched and that adds to the unpredictability and excitement factor of the bout. Their striking ability is very dangerous, actually, most of their victories came from knock-outs and this one will also probably end that way. Papa Papito's Pick: Suokuokka via KO. Daley "D.F.B" Borisov vs Nick "The iceman" Skerlik The current champion D.F.B faces off against the former champion "The Iceman" Nick Skerlik! All I can say about Borisov is WOW! He is an overachieving youngster that hasn't even reached his full potential and now he's waving a record of 6-0-0! Impressive is not good enough to describe his performance. On the other hand, Skerlik was the champion that Borisov took the gold from. He seems to be prepared to wage war against D.F.B because this is his chance to redeem himself and bring home the bacon. Ofcourse, D.F.B won't go down without a fight. This is going to be a brawl and a technical clinic and these two are capable of bringing up a fight of the night caliber bout. Papa Papito's Pick: Borisov via Decision. "The Monster" Ichabod Klopfenstein vs Cody Gunn Our main event of the evening features "The Monster" Ichabod Klopfenstein against Cody Gunn. Klopfenstein is the real deal folks! He's a true definition of a monster champion. He's very ferocious and he's currently on a 6 win-streak. Gunn is a former title contender and he is a very good all-around fighter and he is a threat to Klopfenstein's gold. Klopfenstein has been on a rampage ever since he became the champion, he is also a very good all-around fighter and he evenly matched Gunn in every aspect of the match-up. I'm sure this will be a great bout and look for Klopfenstein to be himself again in this bout, being a monster. Papa Papito's Pick: Klopfenstein via KO.
marioufc420
http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1316193355FCD%2030.jpg FCD 30: Sox vs Sharko Written by: Papa Papito Jason "The Way" Penl vs Carl "The Zombie" Romero Our opening bout starts with Jason Penl and Carl Romero. Penl is a good all-around fighter and he can put up a good fight whether it's on the stand up game or on the ground. He lost his debut match against Art Browley but he took him to the limit and losing via decision. Meanwhile, Romero hasn't found his niche yet in the organization and is currently on a losing streak. He is a dangerous boxer and he can also perform well on the ground thanks to his purple belt. These guys will surely impress our crowd and they are a good match up to start this exciting night. Papa Papito's Pick: Penl via Decision. "Sharp Dressed Man" Brett Davids vs Tyrone "The Typhoon" Harris The Sharp Dressed Man faces off against The Typhoon! Davids is a versatile fighter and he is also a former title contender against Klopfenstein which he lost unsurprisingly because Klopfenstein is a beast! Moving on, Davids is a really good fighter. He can KO or make his opponents tap however, his ground game will be tested in this fight against Tyron Harris. Harris's striking skills are inferior to Davids but he clearly edges him in the grappling game. Davids must do everything he can to prevent the fight from going to ground or else he's going to get outgrappled by Harris. Papa Papito's Pick: Davids via Decision. "The Mexican Outlaw" Octavio Davino vs Dan "The Tank" Lee Davino is a good definition of an all-around fighter. He can punch, kick, wrestle, grapple and a lot more! That should impose fear in his opponent but there's no room for fear in MMA if you want to become the best and that's why Dan Lee is facing his challenge for tonight like a man. Eventhough he knows his opponent edges him in every aspect in this match up, he still accepted the challenge and it would be a bad night for Davino if Lee manages to upset him tonight. Lee is obviously no match to Davino on the ground and that's the place he'd want to avoid. Papa Papito's Pick: Davino via Submission. "High Base Pay" Domingo Chavez vs Yoshi "The Master" Chiba First and foremost, don't expect a strike-fest in this fight as these two fighters didn't train enough to be a competitive striker. Chavez excels at grappling and he is a dangerous one and his brown belt shows why. Chiba is a great wrestler but he should think twice in taking Chavez down because he will get completely dominated by Chavez on the ground. By the way, these two fighters beat the same opponent in their respective previous fights. Chiba is going to have a hard time adjusting to this fight and if he can prevent the fight from going down to the mat, he has a strong chance to win the bout. Papa Papito's Pick: Chavez via Submission. Damian "Dirty" Sanchez vs Drake "Yak" Yakatori The undefeated Damian Sanchez faces off against the defeated Drake Yakatori, jokes aside, Sanchez is a competitive fighter whether it is striking or grappling. He is a good submission artist but his striking skills is inferior to Yakatori's boxing. Yakatori is a good grappler and wrestler plus his boxing skills make him a good all-around fighter but Sanchez edges Yakatori in every category except striking. If Yakatori wants to have a good chance on winning, he must prevent Sanchez on taking him down. Papa Papito's Pick: Sanchez via Submission. Thomas "The wrestler" Bader vs Skull Crusher Unsurprisingly, Thomas Bader is a wrestler. He is a good wrestler with a good grappling background, not to mention, he is a purple belt. His opponent Skull Crusher is also a good grappler whilst not being a good wrestler, he is a deadly striker as he has good muay thai skills. Crusher lost his debut-title match against Gabonica way back in FCD 27 and he is looking to redeem himself by beating Bader but expect Bader to take Crusher to the limit if he can nullify his striking skills by taking him to the ground. Papa Papito's Pick: Crusher via KO. Bjorn "The Iceman" Borg vs Janek "Glover" Kochanowski Bjorn Borg is a versatile fighter while Kochanowski is a fearsome striker and grappler however, he has poor wrestling skills. Wrestling skills will probably be a big factor in this fight because it is the position decider in most fights here in MMA and as of the look of things, Borg can clearly outwrestle Kochanowski here. Whether it will be on the clinch or on the ground, Borg will control the positioning. Kochanowski must adapt his game plan and try to box his way to victory. Papa Papito's Pick: Borg via Decision. Geter Done vs "The Fight Professor" Stephen Quadros The veteran geter Done faces off against The Fight Professor, Stephen Quadros. As usual, this will be a great fight with Geter Done in it. Eventhough his record doesn't show it, Geter Done is an established veteran that consistently puts up a great fight. He is an all-arounder type of guy just like his opponent Quadros, minus the grappling skills. Quadros is obviously in trouble if Done can take the matters to the ground so Quadros must outmatch Done in the striking game, eventhough it will be hard, he should try. Let's see if the young rookie can outsmart his veteran opponent in this fight. Papa Papito's Pick: Done via Decision. Dan "The Son of the Phantom" Walker vs "Brutal" Vaj Pounder Two undefeated fighters will face off in our co-main event of the evening. Dan Walker has been on a rampage and he is a very versatile fighter with great submission skills. Pounder is also a fearsome grappler and they both have purple belts. The only thing that Dan Walker is superior in this fight is the wrestling skills. I think they both have poor clinching game as their muay thai skill shows but never count it out. Expect this one to be an entertaining and a good one. Papa Papito's Pick: Walker via Decision. El Senor Sox vs Andrej "The Career Killer" Sharko It's main event time folks! El Senor Sox versus Andrej "The Career Killer" Sharko for the vacant lightweight title. Sox was the last title contender for the lightweight title and he took the former champ to the limit, losing via decision. He is a very proficient all-arounder and he is a good game planner. Before he lost, he was on a 5 win-streak and he decimated each and every opponent that was placed in his path, however, Andrej Sharko is a better all-arounder and also, the younger one in this fight. Sharko outmatches Sox in every category so he clearly has the advantage in this one but don't underestimate Sox, he has the fighting spirit that most fighters don't have and he is looking to outplay Sharko here. Expect this one to be brutal and exciting. Two things are surely going to happen, this will be a great fight and there's going to be a new Lightweight Champion by the end of this evening. Papa Papito's Pick: Sharko via Submission.
marioufc420
http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1316880338FCD%2031.jpg FCD 31: Clash Of The Champions Preview Written By: Papa Papito Spaz Mcgee vs Onion Bhaji Chicken Vindaloo Popadom Pilau Rice "The Asian Invasion" Any Ting Ul Do Our ecstatic evening starts with Spaz Mcgee facing against the long named "The Asian Invasion". Mcgee is a good boxer and a solid grappler. He is a brown belter in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and he finished his two wins with an armbar. Meanwhile, The Asian Invasion is also a capable boxer but Mcgee really edges him in the ground game. Nevertheless, he is a good wrestler as it is his forte but it would be dangerous for him to take the fight down because Mcgee will surely own him on the ground. Papa Papito's Pick: Mcgee via Submission. Rico "The Bull" Santos vs Theo "The Rock" Rockwell These two fighters are currently struggling in their division and they are both looking to rejuvenate their careers by outperforming each other in this bout. Santos is a solid all-arounder however he is having difficulties in knowing his comfort zone in the cage and he needs a good game plan for this fight because he is facing a slightly better fighter in Rockwell. Rockwell is a better muay thai fighter than Santos and he could use that as an advantage against Santos' inferior striking skills. This will be a good fight because they are nearly equally matched but it's still about who is the more intelligent fighter and who has the ability to finish the fight. Papa Papito's Pick: Rockwell via Decision. Ren "RARZ`D" Duran vs Zane Willoughby Duran is facing a worthy adversary here in Willoughby. Despite being a rookie in his debut fight, he is a great wrestler and i'm sure he can take Duran down. However, If I were Willoughby, I won't be doing that against a purple belt if i'm only a white belt. Duran is also a good wrestler but Willoughby is really the better wrestler in this one, he only outmatches him in the ground game. I'm predicting that Willoughby is a ground and pound fighter because of his respectable boxing skills. He still is the better striker in this one but never count the veteran out. Papa Papito's Pick: Duran via Submission. Fou "The Odor" Rthihovsky vs "Rocker" Ralle Pihl Two all-arounders facing off against each other is a formula for a good fight! Rthihovsky is slightly better than Pihl probably because he had a lot of time to train rather than Pihl's resume of 15 fights. Pihl clearly had to rest a lot of time during that 15 fight run. This would be an exciting striking bout but it would be more exciting once this one goes to the ground. It would be a challenge for Pihl to pace with Rthihovsky on the ground but still, it is a matter of intelligence, folks. By the way, watch out for Pihl's KO skills. Papa Papito's Pick: Rthihovsky via Submission. Nick "The iceman" Skerlik vs Andy Bernard Be ready for a technical clinic folks, Skerlik versus Bernard? Assume this one to end via Submission. They are both great wrestlers and it's ironic that they are equally matched on their wrestling and brazilian jiu-jitsu skills. The striking game might get one-sided because Bernard is a good kicker which is reflected by his muay thai skills. This will be interesting once you see one of them try to take the other man down. A potential candidate for the "Of the Night" awards. Papa Papito's Pick: Bernard via Decision. Steven ""The Pain"" Lidae vs Jake Wylde Rhoads This is a semi-finals bout for the vacant Light-Heavyweight Championship. Lidae will be replacing Quan Chi in this fight because of an undisclosed reason but it still won't be an easy fight for Rhoads, Lidae is a good fighter and he still has a lot of potential to grow and to develop as a great fighter. Not to mention, he's the current Light-Heavyweight Champion of MXC. Imagine if he wins the tournament, it would do wonders for his career. On the other hand, Rhoads is still hungry to regain what he once had, the championship. This one will be a big challenge to Rhoads because his strength, the grappling game, is in danger because he is facing a better grappler tonight. Eventhough, Rhoads is a good game planner and we can only expect this fight to be a good one. Papa Papito's Pick: Lidae via Submission. Jason Cook vs Nate "The" Great Jason Cook has been on a tear since he joined the organization, he has only lost once to Ichabod Klopfenstein. He moves very fast and he is a proven wrestler and he combines his speed and power to outwrestle and dismantle his opponents. Great might be and will be outwrestled in this one BUT in my opinion, that factor will be a blessing in disguise for him because it will bring him down to his comfort zone, the ground game. Cook must be very careful in planning this fight because once Great is a very dangerous fighter to be with on the ground. If he manages to control the fight on the ground, watch out for a submission victory. Papa Papito's Pick: Great via Submission. Andre Alvarez vs Dane Mack This fight showcases two fighters with different styles and with one mindset tonight, and that minset is to win. Alvarez is a good boxer and he can also mix up some kicks and some takedowns to his repertoire. He's had a rocky start on the organization but recently it looks like he stepped up his game as he won two out of his three previous fights. Meanwhile, Mack is a beast on the ground and obviously, this next statement clearly says it all. He is a black belter in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is also a good wrestler and he can punch but tonight, Alvarez will surely dominate the striking game whilst Mack will surely own the ground. It's a matter of who will be able to take advantage. Papa Papito's Pick: Mack via Submission. "Two Heads" Tony Thompson vs Art "Brawler" Browley I hope you guys aren't yet tired in watching great action by these great Fight Club Down Under fighters. This night is surely a treat for everyone. Our second semi-finals bout will feature Tony Thompson and Art Browley. Thompson is a very good all-arounder and make no mistake of it, he can KO you or make you tap. He sports a purple belt and it will be hard to predict his offense. Browley is also a good all-arounder and he is a dangerous boxer to fight against. His Boxing skills matches Thompson's Muay Thai skills. Thompson may have Browley's number in this fight but one thing's for sure, anything and everything can happen in MMA. These are two fighters that are hungry for competition and i'm sure these two will put up a good fight. Papa Papito's Pick: Thompson via KO. Bitis Gabonica vs "Torch" Grammy Married Sokojuice It's time for out HUGE main event! The Super Heavyweight Champion Bitis Gabonica will fight against the Heavyweight Champion Grammy Married Sokojuice in a Clash of Champions fight! These two fighters are champions, so we can assume they are great fighters right? Ofcourse. These two guys can do everything! Punch, kick, wrestle, grapple, everything! Gabonica slightly edges Sokojuice on the ground game whilst Sokojuice is the better striker of the two. Gabonica is known to have fearsome takedowns and it would be dangerous for Sokojuice if that's the case. If Sokojuice can stuff Gabonica's takedowns, he'll take a lot of points as well as energy from Gabonica. Sokojuice can go through distance as he is a cardio beast but he must still be prepared for anything incase Gabonica has other plans. Will this fight live up to the hype? Ofcourse. If you are not yet contented on what preceeded this fight, I'm sure you'll be wanting to see this one over and over again. Props to Mario Slice for making this fight, i'm sure this fight will be one for the ages. Papa Papito's Pick: Gabonica via Submission.

marioufc420
http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1317414270FCD%2032.jpg FCD 32: Klopfenstein vs Sharp Preview Written By: Papa Papito David Ibragimov vs "Smoking" Joe Thumper Our starting fight for tonight features two very good boxers in Ibragimov and Thumper. Ibragimov is a little better in the boxing department and he is superior on the ground as he possesses a blue belt. Thumper is also a very good boxer but he is kinda of a one-dimensional fighter with boxing being his only skill. A one-dimensional fighter would have a hard time keeping up with the competition in MMA. You gotta mix it up. So it's a pretty obvious who i'm picking on this one. Papa Papito's Pick: Ibragimov via Submission. Frank Sierra vs Jack "JT" Thompson Sierra is a solid all-arounder as he can mix it all up. He is also a capable grappler with a blue belt and he is already a veteran of the game at the age of 23. He still has a lot of room for potential. Thompson is most likely a sprawl-and-brawl fighter and if has strengthened up his defenses, he has a strong chance to pull an upset in this one. Not to mention, he is still looking for his first win in FCD, so good luck Thompson! Sierra is a formidable opponent. Papa Papito's Pick: Sierra via Submission. Cain Velasquez vs "Quick" Andrew Malinowsky These two versatile fighters are looking to impress us tonight. They are quite evenly matched but Velasquez is getting the edge on the boxing and wrestling area. Malinowsky needs to use his "Quick"ness if he wants to neutralize his opponent's superior standing game. They are equally matched on the ground and it only depends on who is the more intelligent fighter but for sure, Velasquez won't allow that to happen and for sure he'll take the advantage that he is the predator on the standing game. Papa Papito's Pick: Velasquez via KO. "The Encore" Waldo Desecondit vs Reil Bogs Waldo Desecondit faces off Reil Bogs in Bogs' debut fight in the organization. Both fighters are 1-0-0 and they are two young and good fighters with different styles. "The Encore" is a fearsome sprawl-and-brawl boxer with a good ground game. By the way, he earned the "KO of the Night" honors on his debut fight. Pretty impressive for a youngster. On the other hand, Bogs is a very good grappler, sporting a purple belt, and he also has great muay thai skills. They really contrast each other and that makes this fight interesting. I smell an "of the Night" honor here. Papa Papito's Pick: Desecondit via KO. Wesley Loose vs Raf Gon DIas Loose is a great boxer with great grappling skills albeit he has sub par wrestling skills, his grappling skills makes up for it whenever he's taken down to the ground. Loose is facing a former champion here in Gon Dias and he should know that Dias is a determined fighter and he is determined to win tonight. It also looks like Gon Dias has improved his striking skills. He already is a great striker before but now, he is an improved striking beast. He boasts an exceptional skill in boxing with superb muay thai skills, pretty deadly right? Anyway, expect this match to be hard-hitting and entertaining. Papa Papito's Pick: Gon Dias via KO. "Time 2" Justin Hale vs Elijah Cao Justin Hale has been on a roll as of late, winning all of his three previous bouts. It looks like an inner beast has been enraged inside him. He really is a great fighter and he has everything you need in a fighter. He is very deadly on the ground because he is a brown belter. He can take the fight anywhere as his striking and wrestling skills can back it up. Cao is an undefeated young prospect that won a championship on his first fight, and he never lost that championship. He is slightly better than Hale in every aspect but i'm sure the fight would be pretty even. What a wonderful match-up folks! Expect an instant classic here. Papa Papito's Pick: Cao via KO. Akseli "Cave-in" Suokuokka vs Meat "Loaf" Brockenstein Two great fighters squaring off against each other midway here in the fight card. Suokuokka is a good sprawl-and-brawl boxer with a blue belt and sometimes he can slap some kicks from time-to-time and i'm sure those kicks would help him this time against a slightly better boxer in Brockenstein. They are evenly matched on the ground game but Suokuokka is the superior wrestler in this one. That would be a good way to initiate a takedown or clinch and utilize the advantage that Suokuokka has in this one. If Brockenstein plays his cards right, he can still knock Suokuokka out cold here. Papa Papito's Pick: Suokuokka via Decision. Charlie "Darkness" Murphy vs The "Ultimate" Fighter Charlie Murphy is a good wrestler backed up with good muay thai skills but he is known for his deadly kicks. He can also punch well and eventhough his boxing skills are not good enough, he still outmatches Fighter in this one. Fighter's only edge in this one is his very good wrestling skills. He is a wonderful wrestler but if that is his only skill that will shine here, he would have a hard time keeping up with Murphy's pace, plus, he should be very careful of Murphy's kicks. His leg kicks could neutralize his takedowns. Papa Papito's Pick: Murphy via KO. Daley "D.F.B" Borisov vs "Pimp Daddy" Noah Ho D.F.B's fights are the fights you shouldn't miss. Always expect great fights from this man. He is on a rampage in FCD with a record of 7-0-0. I can't believe he's already dominating already at this stage wherein he still has a lot of room for potential. Props to his manager for this one. D.F.B can punch, wrestle and grapple. He is a purple belt and his most noticeable feat is that he is very strong. Strength is a big factor in this one. However, his title might be in trouble because he is facing "Pimp" Daddy" Noah Ho and this man is a better boxer and a better grappler. If D.F.B can manage to control the pace of the fight and use his strength to gain advantage would do wonders for him tonight. This one will be full of excitement folks! Another "of the Night" candidate. The streak is in jeopardy in this one, will D.F.B prove his dominance by shutting down a better fighter? Or will we see a crowning of a new Bantamweight champion? Tune in to know the answer! Papa Papito's Pick: Borisov via Decision. "The Monster" Ichabod Klopfenstein vs Curtis "Razor" Sharp Our main event of the evening presents the current reigning FCD Welterweight Champion "The Monster" Ichabod Klopfenstein faces off against Curtis "Razor" Sharp. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Klopfenstein is a monster. He's the real deal, folks, but for tonight, It looks like he's facing a formidable foe in Curtis "Razor" Sharp. Sharp is a great all-around fighter and the fact that he is the better grappler of the two, he imposes danger to Klopfenstein, but Klopfenstein won't take any of that as he is a great wrestler and he can pretty much mix it all up. He is very dangerous on the clinch with his infamous elbows. Klopfenstein can probably utilize his kicking skills and land some long ranged shots to neutralize Sharp's wrestling skills plus he should never think of taking Sharp down because Sharp's the superior grappler of the two and he will surely dominate him on the ground. If Sharp manages to avoid Klopfenstein's elbows and his deadly kicks then he still has a chance to tame the monster inside Klopfenstein. Papa Papito's Pick: Klopfenstein via KO.
marioufc420
Hmmmm... I smell a rematch on the horizon in the future. marioufc420
http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1317756560FCD%2033.jpg FCD 33: Sharko vs Davino Preview Written By Papa Papito Shinya Okay vs Frank "Not Franz" Ferdinand Shinya Okay is the newly acquired fighter of FCD and by the looks of it, he's going to earn his respect in a hard way. Eventhough he won his debut fight, he's going to face Frank Ferdinand. Ferdinand might be winless but he sure is a tough fighter with good boxing skills. He's facing a fighter with poor striking skills but very deadly grappling skills, he should've learned how to defend better against grapplers from his previous fight. Okay's only chance here is taking the fight down to the ground but if he doesn't, he's screwed. Papa Papito's Pick: Shinya Okay via Submission. Yoshi "The Master" Chiba vs Jimbo "Joggons" Goggins Yoshi "The Master" Chiba faces off against the debuting Jimbo "Joggons" Goggins. Chiba is a good wrestler with poor striking skills and a white belt in BJJ, not too fancy but it looks like he's done with his losing ways as he won his 2 previous fights. On the other hand, Goggins is pretty much like Chiba but the only difference is he's sporting a blue belt, and that's a huge advantage for him. It might be the repellant for Chiba's wrestling skills. It's obvious that he has the advantage on the ground and he should capitalize on that one. Chiba is a veteran of the game and if he can plan this one correctly, he might take this one and add another win on his resume. Papa Papito's Pick: Goggins via Submission. Emilia Rutkowska vs Boy Bastos Rutkowska is still an up-and-coming fighter with a lot of potential, he's already a good boxer with a blue belt. He still has a lot of years to improve but for now, he is facing a well-rounded veteran fighter in Boy Bastos. (holla, fellow Filipino!) Anyway, Boy Bastos' record might be unflattering but he's a dangerous fighter to be with. He can strike, wrestle and grapple! If he can't beat Rutkowska here in striking, he can try using some of his wrestling takedowns and take the matters down to the ground then pound him there or make him tap. This guy is talented and it's a shame that he's aging enough that he might be nearing his retirement but he's still no easy food for the hungry youngsters looking for glory. Papa Papito's Pick: Rutkowska via KO. Bjorn "The Iceman" Borg vs Choi Siwon These two guys have been the inverse of each other as Borg has been hot and winning while Siwon has been cold and losing. Borg has already proven to us that he can hang with the top guys but it's still not enough for him to win a championship. He still needs to improve. He's a good striker with superb muay thai skills and he is also a great wrestler and a purple belt in BJJ. On the other hand, Siwon is a fearsome grappler with a brown belt in BJJ but he has inferior striking skills compared to Borg. Borg clearly has the advantage here except on the ground. If Borg could prevent Siwon from taking him to his comfort zone, Siwon will surely crumble from Borg's onslaught. Papa Papito's Pick: Borg via KO. Pixar Bonan vs "Sharp Dressed Man" Brett Davids Two well-known and well-rounded fighters will face off here tonight. They both have good boxing skills and a blue belt but Bonan is the better wrestler and he has better muay thai skills. They both won their respective previous fights and they're eyeing for Klopfenstein's prestigious belt. We'll experience a great fight courtesy of these two with a lot of punching, kicking, grappling a lot of more!Bonan might be the favourite coming in this fight but you should never count the "Sharp Dressed Man" out because that "Sharp Dressed Man" has already been a title contender before. If Bonan wants to prove he deserves a shot at the title, he must defeat Davids in this fight. Papa Papito's Pick: Bonan via KO. Manoel "Doutor" Alonso vs Fou "The Odor" Rthihovsky Alonso will be making his debut here in FCD tonight against Rthihovsky's purple hair. Jokes aside, this will be an exciting bout with two purple belts facing off against each other. Rthihovsky will surely dominate Alonso on the stand up game so Alonso must take him down to the mat if he wants a chance to win this fight. Alonso won't have an easy one here because Rthihovsky is also a good grappler so intelligence would also be a factor in this one. If Alonso could pull off a win here, i'm sure he'll get a lot of well-deserved respect, but that's still an if. Papa Papito's Pick: Rthihovsky via KO. "Starship Trooper" Johnnie Rico vs Skull Crusher The "Starship Trooper" Johnnie Rico will fight against Skull Crusher and his newly dyed yellow beard. I can't believe I just wrote that. Anyway, Rico is a great boxer, I repeat, great boxer. He has sensational boxing skills and he can back up his ground game thanks to his blue belt. Meanwhile, Skull Crusher has superb muay thai skills and he edges Rico's blue belt with his purple belt. The problem is, can Crusher take him down? His wrestling skills is nowhere near good and that might be a problem. Rico is a very dangerous fighter to fight on the striking game and Crusher is forced to do that here. If Crusher can utilize his muay thai skills, he still has a chance to take Rico to the limit. Papa Papito's Pick: Rico via KO. El Senor Sox vs "The kid gold" Luis Felipe Sox used to be on a roll before he fought for the title. It must've been hard for him to lose two consecutive times for the gold. Anyway, he is a good boxer with good wrestling skills and a mediocre muay thai skills to back him up. He is also a blue belt to carry him on his ground game. Like what I said, he was a former title contender and he deserved it, the sad thing is it has already eluded him twice. Felipe is also a good wrestler but he has average striking skills compared to Sox. The only thing he is superior in this fight is his purple belt in BJJ. Felipe can still pull this off if he could take the fight down to the ground. Papa Papito's Pick: Sox via KO. Chuck "The Truck" Huerta vs Thesis "Howie" Dewit The undefeated Middleweight Champion will defend his belt against Thesis "Howie" Dewit. (This is how we do it, very clever) Huerta has been on a roll thanks to his great boxing and wrestling skills and his purple belt. Those are the reasons he is yet to be defeated. So far, he won all his fights via KO but he is a good grappler and i'm sure he can also make people tap out. On the other hand, Dewit is an exceptional wrestler with competent boxing skills plus his purple belt also adds to his already impressive repertoire. Huerta's skills will be tested here and if he plays his cards right, he might still keep his streak and title intact but if Dewit gains advantage because of his wrestling abilities, i'm sure Huerta would be in trouble. This will be an exciting fight because these two contrast each other and Huerta's streak and title will be on the line. Papa Papito's Pick: Huerta via KO. Andrej "The Career Killer" Sharko vs "The Mexican Outlaw" Octavio Davino Our main event features the current Lightweight Champion Andrej "The Career Killer" Sharko against "The Mexican Outlaw" Octavio Davino. Sharko won the vacant Lightweight title on his previous bout in FCD 30: Sox vs Sharko. It was an instant classic as he nearly got finished by his opponent but he managed to survive and win the title via decision. Anyway, he is deserving of the title and his well-rounded abilities proved it,by the way, that well-rounded abilities are awesome striking skills with a purple BJJ belt. His opponent, Octavio Davino, is pretty much like Sharko, they have similar attributes so i'm expecting a great fight here. I hope this fight tops off the previous title fight for the Lightweight belt, it will be hard but it's not impossible, especially with two great fighters like these men. Papa Papito's Pick: Sharko via Decision.
marioufc420
http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1318777239FCD%2034.jpg FCD 34: Thompson vs Rhoads 2 Preview Written By Papa Papito Rico "The Bull" Santos vs Zane Willoughby Welcome everyone to the first bout of the evening! Our opener features two struggling fighters that are not so equally matched. Santos is a blue belter and obviously he is better on the ground than Willoughby. He can still fight Willoughby on the striking game but what matters here is that Willoughby is a great wrestler. Willoughby could use that as an opportunity to be unpredictable in this fight. He can strike but he can also take him down with ease and ground and pound his foe so I'll be rooting for the more versatile fighter in this one. Papa Papito's Pick: Willoughby by KO. "Kana" Kuroda Atsushi vs Janek "Glover" Kochanowski Kuroda Atsushi is another great wrestler appearing in this card tonight. (Looks like there would be a lot of fierce wrestlers tonight eh?) He backs his wrestling skills with a blue belt in BJJ but his downside is that he is a completely terrible striker, and that's where his opponent Kochanowski appears. Kochanowski is a good boxer with a purple belt. I'd be surprised if Atsushi beats Kochanowski in the striking game here tonight, I'd really be surprised. Atsushi must be very careful in his game plan in this one because going for the ground and pound might not be the best idea because Kochanowski is a purple belt in BJJ and it seems he'll be comfortable even when he's on his back. Papa Papito's Pick: Kochanowski via KO. "High Base Pay" Domingo Chavez vs Dany "Double D" Doan Two brown belters in BJJ will fight for supremacy tonight. This will prove who is the better grappler of the two BUT remember, this is an MMA fight so Chavez' one-dimensional style won't work here. He may have a small experience in muay thai but I personally think that won't be enough for Doan's boxing skills. It looks like Doan trained hard for boxing so he can back up his already impressive ground game. Chavez must find a way to bring this one down to the ground as fast as he can because he will simply be destroyed by Doan's boxing abilities and his KO power. Papa Papito's Pick: Doan via KO. Meat "Loaf" Brockenstein vs Geter Done So much for Brockensten's dominant showing before his title fight with Sokojuice, it looks like he never recovered from his loss. But here is yet another chance to revive his career! He's facing the veteran Geter Done and a win here would mean something because Done is known to always put up a good fight. Brockenstein is a remarkable boxer with a blue belt whilst Done is somewhat an all-around type of guys that wins in every category except boxing and he's matched equally regarding his wrestling abilities. He's a purple belt and that's going to be a big factor in this one, he is better on the ground but Brockstein is a good boxer so he maybe in danger on the striking game. He can also put his competent muay thai skills and try to slow Brockenstein down. Brockenstein needs to win here because Done has nothing more to lose here, Brockenstein needs a win here more than Done. Papa Papito's Pick: Done via Submission. Dan "Hendo" Henderson vs "The Fight Professor" Stephen Quadros Hendo is a prolific submission artist and a strong wrestler. He boasts a purple belt and just so you know guys, he won his recent fight in less than a minute via submission. His forte is his ground game but his poor striking skills won't help him in this one, he's facing a good muay thai fighter with proficient wrestling abilities. Quadros may not be the best striker but he is actually the better striker in this match up, the downside is he is going to get crushed on the ground by Henderson. His white belt is simply no match for Hendo's purple belt so his game plan must be basically to prevent this one from going down to Hendo's comfort zone. Papa Papito's Pick: Henderson via Submission. Bam Margera vs Myles " And Myles" Jackman Margera is pretty much like Dan "Hendo" Henderson with worse striking skills, he is also a strong wrestler sporting a purple belt. He currently has a record of 4-1-1 and that's good considering he is a poor striker, probably he's lucky but maybe he's just a wise fighter. He'll be tested in this one against a fighter with strong boxing skills in Jackman with a proficient wrestling skill backing him up. Probably a sprawl-and-brawl boxer but take note, he TKO'ed all of his previous opponents and he's hanging with a record of 2-0-0. Jackman, like Quadros, must prevent this one from going to the ground if he wants to win. But i'm expecting for another TKO/KO victory here so I'll be rooting for this Jackman. Papa Papito's Pick: Jackman via KO. Junior "Indio" Silva vs Jason "The Way" Penl It's been a long time since Junior Silva's last fight. This guy might arguably be the best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner in the organization. He's boasting a black belt and i'm sure you wouldn't want to be on the ground with him. He is pretty much a good all-around talent and that fits perfectly with his beastly abilities on the ground. Jason "The Way" Penl is the better striker here, which is a good thing because if Silva is the better one, then Penl will surely be outmached here. He also has superb wrestling skills with a purple belt in BJJ. I'm confident that Penl is taking out the takedown idea in his game plan. That is a no-brainer in this one. He'll get decimated on the ground, period. He must keep this fight on their feet to have a chance in this one. Be careful Penl, Silva can also strike. Papa Papito's Pick: Silva via Submission. Damian "Dirty" Sanchez vs Cole Orion Damian Sanchez is an undefeated light-heavyweight fighter with great wrestling skills and a purple belt in BJJ. He can also box with his competent in his boxing skills but I don't think that would be enough for this fight. He's facing a great fighter in Cole Orion. Orion is making his debut in FCD here tonight and if you take a look at his attributes, he's a sensational boxer with respectable muay thai skills and a remarkable wrestling ability. So we can say he's a pure-bred striker right? Yeah with a mix of great wrestling abilities. It will be hard to take this guys down but with his ground abilities, it looks like he'll get beat up pretty bad considering he's just a white belt. That would be the challenge for Sanchez, take Orion down before being knocked-out by Orion. Papa Papito's Pick: Orion via KO. Donnell "Dreamstreat" Richardson vs Ren "RARZ`D" Duran Donnell Richardson against Ren Duran will be an interesting match up. They are somewhat similar to each other but Richardson edges this one probably because of his age. (He had more training time?) Richardson beats Duran's strong wrestling with his exceptional wrestling abilities. He sure has more moves in his arsenal in this one and the catch is, they are both purple belts so watch out for the ground action between this two men. Richardson is also the better stand up fighter with his proficient boxing abilities, Duran is simply no match on the stand up here folks. His only chance is on the ground where they will both fluorish. Papa Papito's Pick: Richardson via Decision. "Two Heads" Tony Thompson vs Jake Wylde Rhoads The main event for this evening is a rematch between "Two Heads" Tony Thompson and Jake Wylde Rhoads but the difference is, this fight will be for the Heavyweight Championship. It's been a long time since these two guys last fought. Their last meeting was at FCD 4 where they also main evented the fight card. Thompson is a very well-rounded fighter with his strengths being his muay thai abilities and his wrestling skills. He's a mediocre boxer with a purple belt. Meanwhile, Rhoads is surprisingly outmatched in this one. He can only match up on the ground with his purple belt but it's incredible that he reached up this high on the mountain with his current abilities. He is a good game planner and that's what helped him reach his current status. In their last meeting, Rhoads took the win via submission. Rhoads will be dominated everywhere but the ground so it's obvious that going to the ground is his only option but i'm not a great game planner like him so he might have better ideas. Now that they're at the same level in grappling, will Rhoads be able to pull out an upset here and win the Heavyweight championship? Or will Thompson be able to get revenge and grab the Title? This one will be interesting. Papa Papito's Pick: Thompson via KO.
marioufc420
http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1319949839FCD%2035.jpg FCD 35 Sokojuice vs Madden Written By Papa Papito Brandon "The Cook" Baldwin vs Pete "French Express" Cloud Our opener for this evening is a battle between two purple belters in BJJ. Baldwin has some striking but his striking is absolutely not the best striking ability you'd like for your fighter but he is definitely better than Cloud whom has no striking skills at all. However, Cloud has some decent wrestling abilities and he could use that to his advantage to take the fight down to the ground early to prevent Baldwin's striking. Cloud seems to be the favorite on the ground eventhough they are both purple belts, his wrestling skills would definitely help here and if ever (and I hope so) he has good ground and pound skills, that would surely add to his chances in this one. Papa Papito's Pick: Cloud via Decision. Steven ""The Pain"" Lidae vs John Silva Steven ""The Pain"" Lidae is still the current Light Heavyweight Champion of another organization and eventhough he lost his debut fight against Jake Wylde Rhoads, he still managed to survive Rhoad's onslaught as he took him to a decision finish. He is the better striker in this fight against Silva and also the better grappler thanks to his brown belt in BJJ. Silva's only chance here is his wrestling abilities. It's not that Lidae beats the hell out of Silva in the stand up fight, it's just a little bit so Silva still has a chance in this fight if he manages to keep this one from going down to the ground. His blue belt is simply no match for Lidae's brown belt. Papa Papito's Pick: Lidae via Submission. Reil Bogs vs Theo "The Rock" Rockwell Reil Bogs is an undefeated prospect signed by FCD and is showing a lot of potential, especially winning his fight by stoppage on the first round in his FCD debut. He's facing another prospect here tonight in Theo Rockwell. Rockwell has been struggling here in FCD maybe it's because of his game plan but I don't know. Maybe he's just really having a hard time as of now and a win might uproar the inner warrior in him. They both have good muay thai skills but Rockwell is the better striker thanks to his boxing and he also owns Bogs in the wrestling department. However, Bogs is the favorite on the ground with his purple belt but the problem is he has no takedown offense at all so it's like it's just his back up plan, he won by two TKO victories anyway. Rockwell has a high chance here because he edges him in every way except the ground so he should know what to prevent in this fight. Papa Papito's Pick: Rockwell via KO. Curtis "Razor" Sharp vs Cody Gunn These two well-rounded fighters are looking to steal an "Of the Night" honors here as Curtis Sharp faces off against Cody Gunn. Fascinatingly, both of their previous fight were against the current champion Ichabod Klopfenstein and they are looking to get back on track by a win in this one. Sharp may have a more versed striking here and the more dangerous fighter on the ground but Gunn has the edge on wrestling. Gunn must be wary that Sharp is a purple belt and going against a purple belt when you're a blue belt is not the best decision you could make. But I think preventing the fight from going to the ground is a good idea. I think this one will be a hard-hitting striking fight with either one going for the KO. Papa Papito's Pick: Sharp via KO. Nick "The iceman" Skerlik vs "Brutal" Vaj Pounder Mainly, these two are proficient grapplers but now they managed to mix it up and also work the other areas they need to put work to. Skerlik has mediocre striking skills but he is the better wrestler while Pounder is the better striker. We'll be enjoying a grapplefest from these two as that's what they are the best at. Skerlik has had a lot of chances at regaining the gold but it seems it keeps on evading him. He's been a champion so he knows what he's doing. Pounder should plan carefully and not let Skerlik control the fight. Pounder must be looking to hit him as hard as he can before he eventually gets taken down. Papa Papito's Pick: Skerlik via Submission. Dane Mack vs Thesis "Howie" Dewit Dane Mack's record as of late has been 2-0 while Thesis Dewit's is 0-2, did you see the difference? Mack has been on a roll lately and he's looking to keep it coming. Mack is outmatched on every other aspect except his BJJ. He's one of the only few black belters here in FCD. I think they're only 2? But correct me on that one if i'm mistaken. So the point is, he's gonna take over on the ground game in this one especially he's facing a purple belt. That's going to be an easy one for him but the problem is all fights in MMA starts while standing and in my opinion, he'll get dominated on the stand up fight in this one. Dewit is a magnificent wrestler but he should rely on his striking abilities here. Don't take Mack down, it will only spell doom for him. Papa Papito's Pick: Mack via Submission. Bitis Gabonica vs Spaz Mcgee I'm sure Gabonica's madman instinct is still intact guys. This one Bitis Gabonica had one of the hottest streaks in FCD's history winning 8 straight including a championship on that streak. That streak was broken when he lost the title to Grammy Married Sokojuice. He is well-rounded in every aspect as he is a definition of a mixed-martial artist. His opponent, Spaz Mcgee is a brown belter in BJJ and he can back his striking skills with his respectable boxing skills. But that's pretty much all of it, he has no wrestling abilities and to my knowledge, that would take a lot of toll in his supposedly finishing ability in his grappling. Mcgee's only chance here is the ground game so he should find a way to go down with Gabonica before he goes down by himself. Papa Papito's Pick: Gabonica via KO. Lewis "The Brick Layer" McLay vs Dany "Double D" Doan McLay is a new acquisition for FCD and looks like they got a good one here. Mclay is a grappler and a wrestler with some mediocre muay thai skills. His main strength is his ground game. He won 7 out of his 9 victories by submission so his opponent must be wary of his submission abilities but by the looks of things, McLay should be the one who needs to be careful as he is facing a much better grappler in Dany Doan. He is a brown belter in BJJ while being the better striker thanks to his respectable boxing skills. McLay should be very careful in using his wrestling moves as one mistake could lead to his downfall in this fight. Papa Papito's Pick: Doan via Submission. "The Monster" Ichabod Klopfenstein vs Takeshi "Turbo" Yuudai Klopfenstein is currently on a 8 win-streak and he's looking to continue that rampage that he's doing. He surely proved them that he's a dominating monster in the welterweight division. He's mainly a wrestler but he mixed it all up and he also has good muay thai skills as well as his boxing skills. He can also be dependable on the ground with his blue belt in BJJ. He's facing a familiar opponent in this one as he already defended the gold against Takeshi Yuudai. The last time they fought, Yuudai lost by unanimous decision but this time he's looking for revenge. He's a brown belter in BJJ with a capable striking ability but it looks like Klopfenstein still owns the stand up game in this fight. Yuudai must find a way to go to the ground so he can go to his comfort zone and MAYBE end the streak this monster has been doing. Papa Papito's Pick: Klopfenstein via KO. "Torch" Grammy Married Sokojuice vs Dom Madden Our main event of the evening showcases the current Heavyweight and Super Heavyweight champion, Grammy Married Sokojuice against the newcomer Dom Madden. It's not an easy task to win two championships in an organization in two different weight classes, that is unless your name is Golden Glory but we're not talking about Golden Glory, we're talking about Grammy Married Sokojuice! This guy is absolutely amazing and he is looking to prove that he is the number one guy in the organization. These two fighters are both mixed-martial artists and their most dominant skills are their striking skills. Sokojuice is the better boxer while Madden is the better muay thai practitioner. They are both blue belters so this one is going to be tought to predict. If you want to see high-impact,hard-hitting action, you should see this fight. This is a surefire candidate for the "Fight of the Night" honors so enjoy the fight! Papa Papito's Pick: Sokojuice via KO.
marioufc420
http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1319983858FCD%2036.jpg * First of all, this will be the last night for the 205 (Light Heavyweight Division) so FCD could focus on 6 other divisions. It would be great honors for both Junior Silva, whom is a great grappler and also one of my favorite fighters and a savvy veteran in Hempii Sapponen. This will be a great night folks! Enjoy! + Sadly, this will be my last piece guys because of real life time constraints. I've enjoyed writing for you guys, It's been my pleasure working with you. A lot of thanks to Mario Slice and everyone in FCD. More power to you guys. Seize the top guys, you can do it!* FCD 36: Huerta vs Orion Preview Skull Crusher vs Boy Bastos Our opening bout will showcase two struggling fighters looking to snatch a win to get back on track. Skull Crusher will be the stronger fighter on the ground a he edges Bastos' blue belt with his own purple belt in BJJ. They're slightly equally matched on the striking area so we can expect this will be a hard-hitting battle tonight. Bastos could use his wrestling advantage to neutralize Crusher's slightly better striking game but he must be wary of Crusher's submission abilities. Bastos must use his ground and pound effectively or else he'll be completely destroyed on the ground. Papa Papito's Pick: Skull Crusher via Submission. David Ibragimov vs Onion Bhaji Chicken Vindaloo Popadom Pilau Rice "The Asian Invasion" Any Ting Ul Do Ibragimov had a rocky start in his career but he still somehow managed to garner a record of 2-2-0 but The Asian Invasion had a more unstable career with his record of 4-8-0, now that's a really rocky career. Ibragimov could fight on the stand up or on the ground. He will beat The Asian Invasion on the striking game but The Asian Invasion could easily neutralize Ibragimov's offense with his wrestling skills. For him to be effective on the ground, he should have trained his defensive grappling skills or else he'll get submitted easily by Ibragimov. If he somehow manages to ground and pound his opponent then let's consider it a good win. Papa Papito's Pick: Ibragimov via Submission. "Sweet Science" Gorilla Tactics vs "Smoking" Joe Thumper Gorilla Tactics will be making his debut tonight against Joe Thumper. Tactics is pretty much an all-around guy with poor wrestling but nevertheless, he can clash with Thumper anywhere. His striking skills will be put to test here against Thumper's remarkable boxing skills. I'm not sure if he can outplay Thumper's superior boxing but some body kicks would definitely help unless Thumper has a beastly defense. That woeful wrestling skill could help in this fight if he can't survive Thumper's striking skills, he should definitely take him to the ground and try to outgrapple Thumper. Papa Papito's Pick: Thumper via Decision. Andre Alvarez vs "The Encore" Waldo Desecondit Alvarez is a good striker with mediocre wrestling abilities and no submission skills while Desecondit is a good, young all-arounder that is looking to outplay Alvarez here. He is also a blue belt in BJJ so it means he edges Alvarez whom is a white belt and it looks like he'll be destroying him on the ground. Desecondit won't have a hard time in taking Alvarez down and exposing his weakness with his strong wrestling skills. This will be a tough fight for Alvarez and if he manages to pick up the win then we can say he's one hell of a tough fighter. Papa Papito's Pick: Desecondit via Submission. Dan "Hendo" Henderson vs Cain Velasquez Could you smell the irony in this fight? Lol. Anyway, Henderson is a good grappler with strong wrestling skills while Velasquez might be a little more trained than Henderson, he has good all-around skills plus a blue belt with him being the better and absolutely the more dominant striker in this fight. In my opinion, Velasquez must avoid going down to the ground and capitalize on the opportunity that he is the better striker and strike his opponent down to oblivion. He'll be destroyed by Henderson's grappling skills if the fight spills down on the ground. Papa Papito's Pick: Henderson via Submission. "Sharp Dressed Man" Brett Davids vs Mohammad "Full Clip" El Sayed These two oldies are gonna try to put up a show tonight. Ha! Just kidding, they're not oldies and i'm sure they're gonna put one hell of a show tonight. These are two good all-arounders that are capable of bringing up good fights. Davids is the slightly better wrestler but El Sayed is the better striker thanks to his strong muay thai skills but nevertheless, they'll most likely be equally matched. It looks like El Sayed really tested the waters on QFC and that will probably help in his game plan as he already has gained a lot of experiences from his previous fights. Papa Papito's Pick: El Sayed via Decision. "Indio" Junior Silva vs Hempii Sapponen This is it! This is the final fight of the 205 Division in Fight Club Down Under! "Indio" Junior Silva will fight against Hempii Sapponen and i'm sure this one will be an instant classic! Silva is a great fighter and he has won most of his victories by submission and if you're still asking why he's a beast then ask his black belt in BJJ. He still hasn't been finished off in a fight but Hempii Sapponen might be looking to do the deed. Sapponen is also a good all-arounded with his primary strength in this fight is his striking skills. That will take Silva to his limit and he rejects all of Silva's attempts to take this one to the ground then he'll most likely win thanks to his superior striking skills. This is a must see fight guys, don't you ever dare to miss this one. Papa Papito's Pick: Silva via Submission. Charlie "Darkness" Murphy vs Akseli "Cave-in" Suokuokka Murphy and Suokuokka are not strangers to each other. They have fought each other and the previous one was great, can they top this one? Sure! They are equally matched and it's a pleasure to see these two great fighters clash again. They are looking to be the new title contender. Just like their previous fight, expect heavy striking and some takedowns tonight. They're most likely to be a stalemate on the ground but never say never, anything can happen in MMA. This will be a tough fight folks especially, this is a rematch from their previous fight. Murphy won the last time they fought, will Suokuokka redeem his glory tonight? We'll find out! Tune in to this fight! Papa Papito's Pick: Murphy via Decision. "The Mexican Outlaw" Octavio Davino vs El Senor Sox Octavio Davino will defend his Lightweight Title tonight against El Senor Sox. It's a highly anticipated bout as these two fighters have never fought each other before but they are not strangers to the championship environment. But anyway, they are now facing each other so enjoy a good fight on your way! Davino might be the favourite in this one because he edges everything against Senor Sox. Davino has been on a role lately and it looks like he'll keep on rollin' for a long time. Senor Sox is a good fighter and has the tools to be a champion but he must step up this time to be a champion. Davino is not an easy fight, this one will be tought to call but i'm going with the champ. Papa Papito's Pick: Davino via Decision. Chuck "The Truck" Huerta vs Cole Orion The undefeated Middleweight Champion is going to defend his title and his streak tonight against a very dangerous fighter in Cole Orion. Huerta is a great all-arounder and he can basically match up with anybody on the stand up game. He's also a very solid grappler thanks to his purple belt. Orion is one of the biggest newly acquisitions of FCD and he really impressed a lot of folks in his debut fight, winning in 40 seconds by TKO against Damian Sanchez. He is a fearsome striker and wrestler but his white belt will expose his flaws. He can match up with Huerta's striking and wrestling skills but he is simply no match on the ground. This will be a tought fight for Huerta but I believe the champ can pull this off. Papa Papito's Pick: Huerta via Submission.
