Who's Royer? Oh, oh, oh - the guy that's holding Jake Young's title. Sorry about that. I just didn't recognize the name right away.

;)

Young might enjoy it too much with Royer's foot up his ass :rolling: I'm rooting for you to win your next fight...though I still have Askren to deal with...so we'll see.

Here we are backstage at Ascension 34, I'm with the Tycoon Hybrid Coalition fight team and they have been kind enough to say a few words for us...

First up tonight we have Forrest "The Liberator" Loveladdy the former Illuminati Welterweight Champion, after losing the belt he is now ready to take on the Lightweight divisions best as he will be tested against the older, more experienced Brent Celek.

First off, Forrest how does it feel to be the first to fight tonight representing your fight team?

"It feels good, I get to go out there tonight against a top competitor and make a statement. The Tycoon Hybrid Coalition does not fuck around, especially not when our name is on the line. Celek is a game opponent, and I am not taking him lightly, I lost the belt in my last fight, and now its time to get back on to the winning path... that means Celek is in for a long night if he thinks he is going to make me some stepping stone."

Speaking of losing the belt, how much does that motivate you coming into this fight? And what prompted you to make the drop back down to Lightweight? You had a good amount of success at Welterweight...

"It was not just losing the belt in general that motivated me, its losing period. When you spend as much time as I do day in and day out grinding it out and training 4 times a day, it can be a little tough to lose... you have to convince yourself that all the preparation was not wasted and find the will to hit the gym as soon as possible. After losing the belt I was back in the gym after a week of down time with family. I got beat up pretty bad, Im not gonna lie, my gameplan failed and I took a beating for it... But that being said you have to get back to training as soon as you can... I have been working real hard to get my red belt, so that has been my main motivation, I have been training since I was 18 and have not looked back...

I decided to make the drop back down to lightweight because I eat a raw vegan diet, I basically dont eat anything thats bad for me, so its easier for me to fight at lightweight, I dont have to eat constantly now, so I have more time to train hahaa...."

Brent Celek is a top name in this division, a W tonight would surely propel you up the ranks here at Ascension, have you thought about what a win like this would do for your career?

"Honestly, no. I dont like to look to far ahead, I take each fight as it comes, and try to solve the riddle of my opponents game, once I have beaten them, then yes I will sometimes keep my eyes open to who might be next... but other than that I just focus on the task at hand. And the task at hand presently is to beat Brent Celek. He has been around a loooong time, and he has seen some big names. I think this fight is a great matchup for me, what you see is what you get with Celek, he is past his prime and is not putting any new aces up his sleeve, I know that I present a few problems for him, Im younger, I feel I have more skills than he does, and on paper we are pretty even. I think his experience will obviously come into play, but I have a feeling my grappling will change the outcome of this fight..."

Well goodluck Mr. Loveladdy, being that your brother is Brandon Loveladdy your manager I have a feeling you have a good corner and team and tonight may just be your night. Take care we will see you soon...

Next up we have a Heavyweight fight between unbeaten (10-0) "Project X-treme" Xydorn Xanthopoulous XVII and Viktor Prokhorov.

Representing THC Xanthopoulous XVII has made a name for himself as a solid kickboxer, and tonight he will be put to the test against the grappling prowess of Prokhorov.... Claiming to hail from the planet Nibiru, "Project X-treme" is said to be a half alien half human hybrid... riiiight. Well if that is the case, Im sure we will see tonight, as the hybrid will be tested by one of the toughest humanoids in the whole Heavyweight division...

Xydorn, you have annihilated every opponent set in front of you so far, how do you see this fight tonight going for you? Those who have made predictions think that his wrestling will be enough for him to grind out a win, what do you think?

"The humanoid will look to come forward using heavy shots, only with the hopes of setting up a clinch attempt, or a takedown, at which point if he has success he will surely look to land some ground and pound followed by perhaps a submission attempt. All of this however will be fruitless, he will fail... The future has been written by the astral creators you call aliens. Resistance is futile."

Okay, haha sounds good to me.... They do require a psychiatric evaluation after you get hit in the head to many times right? Im kidding...

Can you let us in on your gameplan Xydorn?

"Knock out the Russian, hit him so hard he tears a whole in the fabric of time and goes back to the days of the Berlin wall. He will be struck with enough force to leave Boris Yeltsin's birthmark on his face, except it will not be birthmark, instead foot mark, or perhaps fist mark. Resistance is futile, resistance is futile..."

This interview is not really going anywhere, good luck bud...

And tonights headliner Takehiko "Bukkake" Takaki the former Ascension Welterweight Champion will do battle with none other than (10-2)Iron Vines! Word on the street is that this fight will put one of these two fighters back into title contention should the put on the fight that is expected of them. In his last fight Takaki was dethroned in brutal fashion after dominating the first round, he was caught with a brutal strike that cost Takaki his precious belt. Now in order to get his belt back he needs to go through the Submission machine Iron Vines...

"Bukkake" you are being given a big shot right now, it looks like this fight could make or break your career. Both of you guys desperately need this win, what do you think you bring to the cage tonight that will make the difference?

"I a bring big mess to face, I will come for his face very quick, very hard, like explosion... big mess... he not know what hit him"

Weird man, weird.... seriously.

"You American always have porn for brain, you not know what "Bukkake" do to opponent face... Let me tell you what happen to face....

Dude its cool, I dont want to know what your gonna do to his face, just do it, do it fast and get out bro, whatever floats your boat...

"Silly American, watch to much desperate house slut of orange county..."

Wow, okay... moving on.... I mean seriously where do I go from here? Fuck it... Kick his ass Takaki.... Im out of here go kick his fucking ass.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3 rounds of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision.

Judge Timothy Bukovac scores the fight for Jake Young!

Judge Suge Night scores the fight for Jake Young!

Judge Frank Antenori scores the fight for Jake Young!

Jake Young wins by unanimous decision!

***Jake Young raises his arms in victory and has a very slight smile on his face. As Young's corner and trainers celebrate and pose for a few pictures with Jake, Ascension's Simeon Morgan awaits for his time with the victorious fighter.***

Simeon Morgan: Jake Young, congratulations on the victory here tonight.

Jake Young: Yeah, thanks a lot Simeon. I'm very happy to walk out of here with a win tonight.

Simeon Morgan: You seemed to control most aspects of the fight tonight against a very tough and difficult opponent in Samir Reyes. Did your gameplan go as expected, or did Reyes surprise you with anything?

Jake Young: You know, I watched a lot of tape on Reyes coming into this fight and knew he would come out swinging. Let's be honest, that guy can hit and has ended several fights with his power, so we wanted to use my reach and try and keep him off balance with low kicks and lean on him in the clinch. He really didn't surprise me at all, he can hit hard and I did my best to avoid as many of them as possible.

Simeon Morgan: There was a moment in the fight, during the 2nd round, where you seemed to hurt Reyes with a head kick, but it didn't seem like you capitalized on the opportunity. Did you feel he was hurt there?

Reyes misses with a right hand

and Young counters with a head kick. That will keep Reyes thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h211/soyster89/rocked2.gif

Reyes is rocked!

Jake Young: You know, I was really careful not to get too carried away there. Reyes is a great fighter, and I just didn't feel he was that hurt. The kick connected pretty well, but I didn't feel he was really hurt - I actually felt it was an opportunity for me to get careless, and that's been our key recently - avoid being careless and be a more methodical and intelligent fighter.

Simeon Morgan: The rumors are rampant that you've called out Dakota Royer, the current Acsension welterweight champion. We can put the rumors to rest - right here, right now - if you're truly interested in facing the champion. Do you want Royer?

***Young chuckles softly and looks to the sky***

Jake Young: I haven't called anyone out. I really leave that to my management team and Skinny Vince to work out. That being said, would I like the opportunity to face Royer, absolutely. Is it something that it of the utmost importance to me, absolutely not. I have a lot of work to do and I don't get carried away with visions of grandeur. I'm confident that it I keep doing the right things, and keep training as well as I have been, my time will come.

Simeon Morgan: Well, I can tell you that many fans and the MMA community have weighed in and I think it's nearly unanimous that it's the fight people want to see.

Jake Young: Well maybe they know what's best...

Simeon Morgan: Jake Young ladies and gentlemen...

***Young lifts his arms in victory and turns to exit the cage***

You will have to wait to take the HBCC monkey off your back - Young has never been in HBCC and his manager is no longer in Hells Playground. :)

Dakota Royer now fights Uncomforable Positions, one of Mogul's many beasts. But how Uncomfortable will Mr. Positions be with Royers foot in his ass. No this is not some kinky fetish porn, this will be a head kick that will launch Positions dome into the Stratosphere.

"I have been given the great honor of representing Ascension as the 145 lb. Champion, and under this waning moon I will be given the great honor to be made the 1st 135 lb. Champion. I must pass a great test placed before me, a test which will determine if my blood is worthy of being spilled to the Gods. And this evening I will face a respected fighter(Gracie), he has beaten many good, and many not so good men. Among those beaten includes my good friend Herb Everyday. Gracie then brought suffering upon my family, and those who commit such atrocities will then have to answer to the Great Spirit Horse. The Great Spirit Horse has come for you Gracie... I will tonight right the wrongs and make an offering to the Moon Goddess, you will then be destroyed and carried upon the winged Spirit Horse until your soul is set free to the underworld. This evening marks the coming of a new age, an age where Ahiga Otaktay will proudly hold 2 belts at one time, the prophecy has been written in the runes, and the time for change is now..." - Ahiga Otaktay

Its that time once again folks for another edition of Inside Ascension. I am your host as always Alexi Zaitev with another great card lined up for you, live from University Park, its T-Minus 15! The openweight strap is on the line in tonight's main event as Manoel looks to defend his title for the second time against Moukuttaja. Without further ado lets get to the fights!

Opening Main Card fight

RunningRabbit vs Kid

We have a great middleweight title lined up for you to open up tonights main card. On one side we have RunningRabbit, with his exceptional boxing, superb muay thai, exceptional wrestling and bjj brown belt he is not an opponent to be taken lightly. Opposing him is Kid, with his sensational boxing, exceptional muay thai and wrestling and also a holder of a brown belt this fight is very evenly matched on paper with the edge slightly going in the favor of Kid because of his striking. Both fighters have lots of experience with both finishing fights and getting finished. Kid has the edge in power and raw ability but RunningRabbit has more ways to win this fight. Both fighters have suspect chins so its possible for either fighter to get KO'd here. My gut says Kid will win this fight.

Featured Main Card fight

Watson vs Royer

We have another great matchup of two of the best 170 lb fighters Ascension has to offer in Watson and Royer. Watson has been an almost unstoppable force of sheer mayhem and destruction going 7-1 in his first 8 fights with all of his wins by form of T(KO). With his exceptional boxing, elite muay thai, exceptional wrestling and bjj brown belt the guy certainly has the skills to pay the bills. Opposing him is Royer, the far more experienced fighter coming in but he is a little bit behind skill wise. With his wonderful boxing, sesnational muay thai, superb wrestling and bjj purple belt, Royer is a true striking specialist who loves nothing more than taking people's head's off which he has done 17 times out of his 27 career fighters. However Royer has been stopped by strikes 3 times in his career while Watson has never been stopped. I see that continuing as Watson puts Royer away by TKO.

Co Main event

Jan vs Gump

Um well, I don't really know what to say about this fight. It's such a huge mismatch primary wise that it seems silly to put into words. Gump does have a lot of power in his hands so you can't count him out but Jan has him dominated skill wise and should walk away with an easy W.

Main Event

265+ Title fight

Manoel vs Moukuttaja

Btoh these fighters are primarly boxer's so this fight will be a slugfest you don't want to miss! 2 of the top 5 oopenweight fighters on the planet collide in this titanic main event! Manoel, the champion, freash off of his KO win in his first title defense, enters the cage with exceptional bothing, proficient muay thai, strong wrestling and a purple belt. Moukuttaja opposes him with sensational boxing, respectable muay thai, proficient wrestling and a bjj purple belt. Both fighters are used to finishing whoever stands in their path as out of a combined 26 victories, only 3 of those have gone the distance., An incredible 23 T(KO) wins between these two fighters. Each fighter only has one career loss, while the champion lost a decision, the challenger got finished by strikes. This battle of chin's and will's will be decided by who lands that first big punch. Manoel will retain his title by 1st round TKO.

There you have it folks! Another amazing card put together by the masterminds of Ascension, tune in next time for another edition of Inside Ascension!
