Guest
i love this game and will support it for ever but i went to tuck my grandson in tonight , he is three year old , inocent , and a boy. we did the usual shit that grandfather and grandson do , ( i had to kiss his fooking tedy) but as i was walking out of his bedroom door , he said " love me?" it was a question. got to tell you , i had tears rolling down my face when i bent over him and kissed him. it may have been a funny momment but it struck a cord to me that , i know whats important in my life. we all play this game because we love it , so can i ask everyone , dont flame anyone because they just may have a little boy or girl that think they are the world in thier eyes , they are new players and deserve a helping hand. we are all people and come from all aspects of life , yet we unite in this game. the forums need to be more weloming. i bet if you googled most hostile forum in the world , mma tycoon would come top , and this is wrong we are all human and mmatycoon isnt the most important thing in our lives , if it is your beyound help its the everyday things that are important and if you can get throughy them , mmatycoon is just a game

Guest
Well put. As for hostile forums, check out Sherdog. You guys are all squares compared to Sherdog.

Face Kicker
if you want some brutal forums, go to offtopic.com lol. it's (mostly) in good fun though (well for non-noob members anyway), but wayyyyyyyyy more people get butthurt on certain other forums, like that one, than on here. from what i've seen, this game is very noob-friendly. the noob forums are quite active, and there are a bunch of helpful people in chat as well. plus, we even have people that buy VIP for strangers sometimes, which i've never seen in any other online game i've played. LanceTempleton
This may be one of my favorite threads ever written here. I could not agree more. Today was my 3yr old daughter's very first day of pre-school. She was so excited, because she got to carry a backpack and "was going to play with new toys." On the outside I was laughing with her and telling her how great it was going to be, but on the inside my heart was crushing, because I want her to stop growing and getting older...lol That is what it is all about. Guest
It doesn't get any easier, especially with girls believe me. The first day of real school is hard, first day of secondary school is harder and I'm so not looking forward to the rebellious older boy phase. Already arranged to replicate the scene from Bad Boys 2 with my brother-in-law when the first proper date happens lol Still do think that if Mike ever does a post of the year then the op should get it for this, I'd vote for it anyway
Guest
You're setting your kids up to be disappointed. Best parenthood is one that prepares them for the hardships of life. So my advice would be to crush them when they're still young. It's better that way because they don't have self pity yet. I'm not going to give my kid toys. If he wants to play he'll have to find some rocks on the street or something. 1

Guest
You don't know much about poker. Sadly in my youth (before the missus and kids) I used to save up a few thousand pounds a couple of times a year and go play high stakes poker at casinos and private games, wish I didn't though cos all that cash I blew would really come in handy now
