Ryo Miyaguchi is demanding some respect from the BRASS. A mere mention at the bottom of an email will not suffice. The Gooch entered this tournament as a replacement for a pussy dropout manager with 0 points. He is now 4-0-1 winning his last 3 fights by first round stoppage. Submission by Strikes, a KO via Slam and then a Ground & Pound nightmare for the three wins. That deserves your respect and admiration. Hell, you could even consider The Gooch a favorite now. Jaloviina, you're fucking next. Get ready. Or don't, it doesn't matter. You'll end up on the floor with your eyes rolled back in your head either way.

It's just a shame that the little girl that dropped out of the tournament before I joined already faced Sabre. I'll volunteer to switch with anyone that is slated to face Sabre. I'll take his ass down. You don't fucking scare me Matt Sabre. Fear the Gooch, I'm coming for you.

::: A huge crowd of reporters crowd around the podium at the Malmi Sportshall in Helsinki. Vicious Fights Owner, Scott Campbell has just finished his general statement about the nights fight card and is awaiting the first fighter to arrive and give a brief interview. Matt Sabre steps through some double doors dressed in a gray suite. He's sporting a few scrapes and bruises but looks like he already won the big prize money. A reporter clears his throat and Sabre looks up acknowledging him and the reporter begins to speak :::

Reporter: Very impressive win tonight, Mr. Sabre. How are you feeling?

Sabre: (reaches up at a slight knot on his face and laughs) Considering that I won and escaped from any major injury, I'm doing pretty good. And thank you for the compliment.

Reporter: James Bomb practically goaded you into a stand up fight prior to the meeting. What were your thoughts on his tactics?

Sabre: You know it didn't bother me at all. I'm an MMA fighter and being an MMA fighter you have to do it all. If Bomb had problems dealing with the other fighters ground games then he should have joined the EPL K1 league. Much respect goes out to James Bomb because he hits like a mack truck but be careful what you wish for. He got what he wanted, but it wasn't the way he wanted it to end.

Reporter: Mr. Sabre can you walk us through that knockout tonight?

Sabre: Well again kudos to Bomb for taking a flying knee like that but that was the beginning of the end for him. I knew he was hurt and I just let instincts take over from there. Feels good getting a win like that.

Reporter: Next week you face Ronald Ferreira any thoughts on him?

Sabre: I haven't heard too much about him. I know he used to be managed by the legendary Avon Barksdale but that's about it. Besides he's over the hill and probably doesn't have a lot left in the tank. He's going to have his hands full with a fighter like myself. However, I'm not going to take him lightly and tonight me and my head trainer will look over his fights in the league and start scouting.

Reporter: Before you came on, Ryo Miyaguchi had some choice words for you. Any thoughts on him?

Sabre: Who? (Former training partner of Miyaguchi, Tsuyoshi Tamataso whispers something in Sabre's ear.) Oh him. All I got to say about that is come see me in the finals. It's not my fault he joined the tournament late because he should be happy he missed out on ass whooping.

Reporter: Hypothetically, how do you see yourself fairing against Miyaguchi?

Sabre: Realistically, lets see him make the finals first... Thank you guys for your questions, but I got some much needed R&R at the hotel.

(Matt Sabre is seen lounging in his hotel suite hot tub reviewing footage of Ronaldo Ferreira's fights. His manager, Big Boss, is playing pool with several ladies while Sabre's fellow stablemates, Ip Man and Daniel Negreanu, watch on near by lounge chairs. Negreanu is simultaneously browsing on his tablet and suddenly laughs out calling over to Sabre.)

Negreanu: Hey, Matt! Get a load of this...

(Sabre continues to watch as Ferreira is seen getting crushed by Mark Marx's ground and pound...)

"Marx postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Ferreira badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Marx around the waist but Marx pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Marx is the winner by TKO! Marx jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Marx!

Sabre: What's up?

Negreanu: Ferreira's calling you out. He wants to see if you can knock him out.

Sabre: Did you just see him just get KO'd right now? His chins been checked and it will be wrecked again.

Ip Man: I've spotted a weakness.

Sabre: You the man, Man!.. Down to roll for a bit?

(Sabre raises out of the tub and Ip Man stands and motions Sabre forward. Sabre smirks and heads towards his room to change into his gi.)

Ronaldo Ferreira, the usual mild-mannered veteran Brazilian, has been left outraged by some of Matt Sabre's comments to the press this week and has felt he has been left with no option but to come to Vicious Fights owner Scott Campell and ask for an official press release.

Ferreira's English was surprisingly good, perhaps through his time with Syn' in Vegas and CFL in London and whilst he kept calm throughout the tension in his voice was clear as he builds up to his Event 10 fight with table topper Matt Sabre.

After Sabre called Ferreira over-the-hill and claimed he had nothing left in the tank, he had this to say:

"Matt Sabre has insulted me with his comments and although he has said he won't be taking me lightly everyone in my camp believes he will be. This is perfect for me as I think he will come in unprepared which will allow me to dictate this fight.

I've only ever been stopped once in my 11 losses and I still to this day dispute that as I felt it was an early stoppage and I was clearly still working as you can see in the video as I grabbed Marx's leg. Anyway, the point is, Sabre will not finish me and to prove my confidence my manager Scott Davies will present Sabre with a cheque for $30,000 if he can stop me in the 1st round. It isn't happening.

Sabre was embarrassed by a small welterweight in his last loss and I plan to follow Spotted Cow's plan and decision Sabre comfortably."

Only time will tell how Sabre will react to this news. Will he offer to match the Ferriera camp's $30k bet? Will he resort to name calling? Or will he simply ignore the claims of the Brazilian?

(Matt Sabre runs down and empty Helsinki street with his training partners Daniel Negreanu and Ip Man all from the Big Boss camp. Training has been intense due to the short time length between fights. Overcast skies and snow has been everyday life for the EPL Season 2 League leader. Sabre and camp wind down into a large factory building which has been outfitted as a makeshift training camp. A reported has been patiently waiting)

Sabre: I hope you don't mind if we do this while I train do you?

Reporter: No problem, Mr. Sabre.

(Sabre removes his sweatpants and gets in his fight trunks. Ip Man and Negreanu follow suit and enter the mini cage. Negreanu slaps on some pads and Sabre and Ip Man work on wrapping their hands)

Reporter: What is your response to Ronaldo Ferreira's offer of $30 grand to knock him out in the first?

Sabre: (looks up and laughs) What kind of stipulation is that? In the first round. What about if I just knock him out period? I'll put 30k on that.

Reporter: Ferreira's camp has claimed that you have been taking him lightly. Care to respond?

Sabre: Does it look like I'm sitting here and doing nothing? I do think he's a credible opponent but I think Ferreira's in over his head. I've been preparing hard to win this tournament and scouting Ferreira has not been overlooked.

Reporter: Ferreira has pointed out your loss to Spotted Cow and claims that he has the perfect plan to defeat you. What are your thoughts about that?

Sabre: Let the record show that I haven't lost in 9 fights and nobody has been able to put me to sleep or take a limb. How many losses does Ferreira have?

Reporter: (Looks through notes) 11. 10 by decision and 1 by TKO.

Sabre: Well come next round of the EPL he's going to have 3 times as many losses than I do. So for him to point out something that has happened to him 3 times in this tournament is quite laughable dont you think?

Reporter: I suppose you're right.

Sabre: Damn right I'm right! Things have definitly changed since my last loss. I'm a completely different fighter then when I fought Spotted Cow. I haven't been defeated yet and only Barclay Jones has gone to a decision with me in the EPL. I don't know if I can finish that chump but I got to give it up to him because he sure can take a punch.

Reporter: Can you give me any inside look to your gameplan for your next fight?

Sabre: Just wait and see is all I can say. I'm a complete MMA fighter. I can stand and bang. I get down and dirty in close quarters and I'm also a BJJ Brown belt. When I see Ferreira I see a man who has bounced around camps and what was once golden has faded away. Like I said before he isn't the same fighter who reigned as Convicted and Syn MW Champions. He's a one dimensional boxer who can't compete with the likes of me.

(Sabre begins to warm up throwing combinations at Negreanu)

Reporter: Any final comments?

Sabre: I can't make any prediction on if Ferreira will be finished or not next Wednesday all I know is that I'm going to leaving the cage the champion.

(Ip Man closes the cage door and reporter watches on as Ip Man and Sabre tap gloves to start a round of sparring)

Sabre lays atop a massage table with a lovely masseuse working on the kinks in his back. His training partner, Ip Man, sits in front of the flat screen watching over EPL footage of Rudell Crim. Someone knocks at the door and a member of Sabre's entourage opens the door. A reporter greets the man and he is escorted to where Sabre is receiving his massage.

Reporter: Hello, Mr. Sabre.

Sabre only raises his hand in acknowledgement

Reporter: How are you feeling after your unanimous decision victory over Ronaldo Ferreira?

Sabre begins to talk with his face turned so his answer is incoherent. Sabre turns his head at the last moment and the reporter catches his answer

Sabre: ... pretty good.

Reporter: You were pretty dominant in the clinch. Can you explain why that worked out for you?

Sabre: Ferreira was pretty soft in the clinch. I know he's a middle age man but damn I could not feel his presence in the clinch. I got to give it up to him though I tried finishing him in the clinch, but he could take one hell of a punch.

Reporter: Did you catch his comments about you not willing to stand and bang with him?

Sabre: laughs so hard it stops the masseuse: He said what?... What a clown! I guess the clinch is not standing? I beat that ass in the clinch and I definitely lit him up on the feet. I don't know if those shots he took messed with his head because his statements have no validity. It's over. I beat him and he's not worth my time anymore. Next question.

Reporter: Your next opponent is Rudell Crim. What are your thoughts about him?

Sabre: Well as you can see. My man, Ip Man, is already hours into our Rudell Crim marathon and we're formulating a sound gameplan now. He's a tough guy. A stocky SOB with some dynamite in his fist. But, I think I have the right tools that can stop him.

Reporter: Last night was your second decision in the EPL and you have scored 5 Of the Night awards for your numerous finishes. Do you believe you can continue that streak against Crim who will be coming in with a slight injury come fight night?

Sabre: Anything can happen. I'm not a man known for my knockout power, but I can put anybody out with the volume of punishment I dish out. If he's coming in with an injury I guarantee that Crim is going to sleep one way or the other. What kind of finish are you hoping for next week?

Reporter: Uhh... Flying Knee!

Sabre: Been there done that.. Ask Iori about that... I'll do you one better. I'm going to aim for an Elbow TKO. Haven't had one of those in a while..

Sabre turns his head and raises his hand to shoo away the reporter. The reporter tries to ask another question but a member of Sabre's entourage immediately ushers the reporter out of the room.

Don't worry, got it sorted.

Wow Miyaguchi got murdered. Not sure what happened but he just shut down in the 3rd minute. I had him set to super aggressive on the ground and he got stood up almost immediately. Why the hell was he stalling like that? Damn, good win bomb.

I'm baffled. Gooch is mere decimal points away from a red belt and couldn't last a minute on the ground with a BLUE BELT?!?!?!?!
