Guest
The Can's agent Brett Lee decide to release a statement in regards to the large buzz surrounding the potential Lee vs Can fight. "Hello ladies and gentlemen, thanks for joining me. I know a lot of you have questions in regards to Lee vs Can and whether Can is going to publicly accept or not. I'm here to answer those questions. First off, the Can is back in the gym training freely and is showing a lot if improvement and feels like he is far better than he was a couple weeks ago, and he says he has never felt better and all rumours of him drinking, snorting cocaine and other illicit drugs, partying all night and putting on weight are false, however with that being said at this time it looks like 155 division is the division the Can will fight in next." "Secondly, the Can has obviously heard Lee's claims that he'll be the Can Crusher and take on the Can but The Can and myself are unsure this is the best fight for the Can at this time. We were led to believe if Lee had managed to beat Faunus than he'd have earned a shot, however it wasn't to be and the Can went on to beat Faunus for a second time. I'm sure if Lee was to get another win or two he'd be in contention for the title but let's be honest it's probably best if he didn't fight the Can." "The Can not only beats fighters but he destroys their careers and puts them out of commission. Let's go through the list... Mr Olympia Popovich, beaten in under 2 and a half minutes and was a shadow of himself in his next fight before retiring. Retired Marco ll Passo, destroyed in under 2 minutes before taking on two lowly ranked fighters before going on hiatus. Believed to have realised he'll never be able to reach the top and reconsidering his career choice. Hiatus Two Chainz, knocked senseless in under three minutes and made a one night only return fight to prove he still had the courage to even get in the ring. After that retired. Retired Eduard Folayang, after receiving one too many punches from the Can he was badly concussed beaten, face fractured and he decided it was best to retire before facing any more permanent damage in the ring. Retired Mercurius Faunus- Bravely decided to take on the Can twice despite being dismantled in the first encounter. Second encounter was toyed with, tortured and probed with punches to the stomach and face, leaving Faunus barely able to stand and rocked before being allowed to have the dignity of losing via judges. Went on to destroy Lee but certainly isn't likely to fight Can again, worth noting the Can overcome a large weight differential and a 15cm+ height difference. JustNotGoodEnough Rory Kirkpatrick- Lasted three rounds before being finished, shooting for takedown after takedown before eventually being knocked out, Rory was the second man to take on the Can in the Can's second choice of weight division and got beaten comprehensively. Rory went on to win a follow up couple of fights against a few Can's before going on hiatus in order to train himself to Can's level. TrainingHiatus Antonio Paulo- Undefeated champion of AFL, top five pound for pound and top couple of weight division. Paulo had only been taken past the first round once, and his knockout power was meant to cause an underweight Can problems. But Can rallied and battled Paulo from one side of the cage to the other before finishing him. Paulo has since left AFL, remained uncontracted and has yet to gather the courage to ask for a rematch or a fight in general. MIA Antonio Silva- After having his jaw shattered, the reprecussions of which we're yet to truly see. How Silva goes in his next fight will be largely down to the damage of the Can. TBA Does Lee truly want to join this list? I doubt it, but somebody will join it sooner rather than late. #CanCountdown #OnlyBeatenCans
markyosullivan
http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/13888673691327418898attack1c.png KENNETH OMERUO SIGNS WITH ATTACK FIGHT LEAGUE Kenneth Omeruo was in hot demand by all the organisations on The Island after he parted ways with Chaos. The popular Nigerian fighter, who has only lost 1 of his fights in his entire professional MMA career, left after a war of words with the Chaos owner because he didn't get the title shot that he felt he deserved. After weighing up all of his options, Kenneth Omeruo decided to sign for Attack Fight League, who's current Lightweight title holder is The Can (9-0). Both fighters have a bit of history as there was previously rumours going round of a potential "super fight" between the two while Kenneth was Chaos Lightweight champion and while The Can was champion of AFL. Kenneth has been seen in the past attending the AFL Champ vs Champ event and was said to be impressed by The Can's skills. An immediate title shot against The Can isn't on the cards for Kenneth however as there are a number of other fighters, who are currently ranked higher than him in the Lightweight rankings at AFL. He'll have to prove himself worthy of a title shot before he gets one, I for one am looking forward to the prospect of seeing The Can vs Kenneth Omeruo and hope he works his way up to get a title shot. Kenneth Omeruo (7-1) The Can (9-0)

I've been wanting this fight for a long time, The Can is someone I respect as a fighter, he's had a lot of success during his time on The Island, much like myself.
