Assuming your taking this fight: http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=575853

Just remember on the TD slider that 20% means that roughly 2 of every 10 moves is going to be a TD attempt, that becomes more predictable and easier to stuff them plus uses up energy to do them. Once your opponent is hitting you (also taking some of your energy) and you failing on so many TD's (again losing energy), the opponent gets so far ahead on energy that you can't really take him down.

look at the energy left at the end of the fight and also the graph at the bottom of the fight, he outscored you almost 2 to 1 on the stand up and most of the fight was there.

Just use counter grappling and takedown or clinch and take him down from there (clinching not advised against a thai boxer) and don't put all your slider on takedowns as yeah, you'll just drain your energy if you can't get him down quickly and they will sprawl every one

Given that you attempted 13 standing strikes and 21 ground strikes and none of them landed, perhaps your damage vs accuracy slider is poorly set as well. Having your slider set at high damage is fine if you've got great striking technique, but if its so high that you don't land any you are wasting energy and not doing damage anyway.

try to be more accurate on your standup strikes even if ur terrible just go 80 or 90 percent accuracy just to throw them off and with 20% takedowns ur bound to have some stuffed but u have a good chance of getting it to the ground. try to use counter tactics but not too high or ur guy will be waiting on his opponent too much to even have a shot at a decision. its not a bad idea to clinch with a muay thai specialist if hes got no clinch game himself. u can find out by looking at his previous fights. some ppl focus only on standup and care nothing about the clinch and just by being a better wrestler u can dominate some of them in the clinch. but as was said above its not always recommended especially if they have kos with knees.
