  1. Belts may not be lost IRL if u don't practice a skill but your actual skills do if you do not keep active and train them. I originally lobbied for Mike to only make physicals deteriorate when a fighter begins their decline as IRL it makes no sense that primary and secondary skills go down. The only thing that begins to lack IRL seems to be the physicals that would begin to decline due to injury, wear and tear and aging etc. But alas it's an overrall skills thing so they all decline at a similar rate, I think physicals at a slightly higher rate.
  2. There are fake supplement companies, sure but the fact that literally all of them round up to say 160 does not bother me. Why? Because it is impossible to reach actual 160 quality in this game. I do however think that actual fake supplement companies should be exposed because I like to buy the purest products in the land.
  3. Bruce Lee Mermaid with human top half/fish bottom half OR Fish top half/human bottom half
  4. In a way yes, but then we should also eliminate fighter bank accounts and just have managers getting paid 100% of the fighters pay since eliminating locations would also take away the games few remaining ways to launder money (private jets and so would firstly make private jets as a money sink useless -which a lot of people sunk their money into and would piss off this pretty substantial group of managers - and then would leave only laundering through companies and manager transfers) So honestly, not worth it to remove locations. It's not really that important the whole locations thing since recent updates but it also complicates things to take locations out.
  5. Miami, is that like sex with your cousin or something?
  6. https://mmatycoon.com/managerprofilemanager.php?MgrID=64800 Basically all of my sparbots (the uncontracted fighters), although rather low in hype and popularity from inactivity are available for sponsorships. A few of my projects and other fighters also have maybe 1 spot open for a sponsor. Just go through all my fighters and feel free to send a sponsorship offer.
  7. Report it to Mike, he gave my fighter an energy boost and tweaked something and my fighter is back regaining energy once again.
  8. Yes, I contacted Mike after posting this and he gave my fighter a little energy boost and we're gonna see if the fighter can recover energy after this. Thing is he should be at max or near max energy by now as it's been like 7 days.
  9. https://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=312446 Finn The Human (312446) has been stuck at 47% energy after his last fight, recovered energy for a few sessions and is not training atm. I laundered some money through some private jet flights but every session I check he is not regaining energy.
  10. So then if a fighter gets KO'd doesn't that affect the chin? I remember reading that there are certain things that will reduce the chin rating so that eventually a Granite Chin might start getting rocked more easily.
  11. I think one way to avoid getting cut, also protecting your fighters chin (which I suspect is affected by hits taken and does degrade; I remember reading this in the wiki) is for sure to go to the ground. Another way would be to take it into the clinch and be superior in the clinch. You would need to have KO power superiority to be able to really have overrall superiority in the clinch against most fighters, also wrestling helps a lot to get clinch superiority as well. Basically same as IRL, high wrestling can be used to protect your chin and cuts by being able to take it to the ground or control the clinch but the problem is it's not failsafe. I have done this with more than a few fighters and while it does work, it fails as much of the time. In general a fighter is going to have a hard time if they lack chin because standup is the default position and it can be difficult to get the TD or even clinch at times. Although one of my greatest fighters of all time was a grappler with good boxing and he had a very low chin rating of 35/150 but very high confidence, heart and KO power and he was often able to get TD's, clinch and tbh I wasn't really very worried for him in the standup most fights even despite great disadvantages in the standup. If he got rocked, it would activate his heart and he'd come back stronger and win usually after that, and then his grappling skills would always be something he could fall back on and save the day with.
  12. Something I used to do up until I opened up my own private gym was I used to fly my fighters to other cities around the world to find the best training opportunities since I wasn't able to find spaces or managers willing to take my fighters on in their private gyms. Some gyms had a good coach setup and low session numbers so I could take advantage of that or switch gyms if it got worse. Some gyms had good coaches and low session attendance but lacked quality sparring partners so I remember seeking out better sparring at a certain point and I flew a couple of my guys to Las Vegas where there used to be a sparring gym and it had great sparring available. Just dropping a suggestion for new users or anyone who has trouble finding decent training (and no private gym), because now it rly doesn't matter where your fighter is based or located as they will always be teleported to their fight with no energy loss even in the QFC as of recently, so changing bases or flying your fighters around the globe is of little consequence. That option aside, I agree with a lot of what is being suggested in this thread as the gym situation after closer inspection seems to have deteriorated in recent years and something is needed to help the public gym situation and accomodate newer users. I mean, we have the noob fund, why not have noob gyms available to help out the new user community?
  13. Basically all of my fighters are looking for sponsorhips right now. Any of my fighters without sponsorships can use a sponsor. So get to browsing and send out some sponsorhip offers!
  14. I somewhat agree and so shortening it does make sense. I say 45 days (1.5 months) makes the most sense as it gives people enough time to get their shit in order and if they rly want to come back 1.5 months is more than enough time to get back on track but also gives others the chance to take over some top quality fighters before they start dropping off in training.
  15. Scoring should be about "who achieved more in the round" IMO So if you had 3 punches land and stuffed 2 takedowns and your opponent had 1 punch land and landed 2 TD's but held you on the ground for over 3 mins and was able to achieve more and get 2 improve positions and 3 ground strikes, seems like opponent should win the round. Scoring can be imbalanced at times.
  16. Cardio will effect how much weight you can cut. Weight gain/loss supplements will add/subtract small amounts of weight to your fighters base weight/natural weight (0.3 for max level 160Q weight gain/loss)
  17. Ok so does that mean that higher cuts is better? And also, means ticking Injury Proneness hidden fucks you over... lol
  18. The best fighter to ever grace my roster and made it to #1 P4P happened to have extremely low Injury Proneness (2/150), along with several other great hiddens. Considering his great success I have actually attributed a lot of it to his low Injury Proneness hidden because ultimately he only suffered 1 day of injuries from his fights by the end of his career and I believe this allowed him to have a longer career before his drop off. But some questions came up about the Injury Proneness hidden because I have begun to consider starting to check it since it might help my fighters have longer lasting careers before they drop off and have to retire. So if we check the "never gets injured" box does this ADD 30 points to the Injury Proneness hidden or does it MINUS 30 points off the hidden? Because this hidden is more powerful the lower the value is (IE 150/150 Injury Proneness is a dude that would blow his ankle out stepping into the cage before the fight even starts) And for that matter, the same question goes for the Cuts hidden as well while we're at it. Finally, do I have it right that Injury Proneness dictates a fighters drop off age or contributes to a longer career if they have less injuries over the course of their career? If so, this somewhat calls into question the value of the Injury Proneness hidden or maybe it's place in the perceived hierarchy (hypothetically, not on the TOTT) It's possible that some of these questions have been asked before but I haven't bothered to really do a search of the forums, sorry haha...
  19. For sure, that's fair. Some people cannot be reasoned with and don't understand the ranking system. Others are just mentally ill and verbally abusive. Even I have had fighters that, because I set them to "hype themself" after their fights end up being a top ranked contender in terms of p4p and division ranking but only top 3-5 in the orgs division due to popularity factoring in for top contenders so I have often wondered and even asked/demanded a title shot, not realizing that there are other contenders that have precedence over my fighter. In my mind I just figured that the actual ranking, which is based on hype was what mattered most but when u have more hype and ranking but another is above you in the division due to popularity then apparently that guy has more of a claim to a title shot than the dude right below him even though technically speaking the higher ranking should mean you are actually better. But that being said, I have never gotten into arguments or verbal abuse about that kind of thing, it's really more of a negotiation or rather just asking when I can have a title shot, if not the next title shot then I'd be next in line so it would come down to taking more time to train and wait or facing another opponent before going for the title. I usually decide to wait it out so as not to jeapordize my chances with a potential loss. Since recently coming to an understanding about hype and popularity boosts after a fight I probably won't even be running into that issue from now on. So anyways, at the end of the day the way I see it is that if a manager is bad and has lots of problems with people, for sure people are going to talk about it and you will find out and be warned about it on the forums. If you feel bad about the argument or the abusive language against you, just know that when it escalates to such extremes so quickly then it's more than likely that you are not in the wrong. And basically I stand with my opinion that it would not be neccessary to have a manager rating system, since we pretty much already have something pretty close with our community on the forums.
  20. Considering that some managers are 100% role playing ALL THE TIME and acting like a shit talking maniac (which comes off as rude and is not good for interpersonal communication outside of smacktalking on the forums) I would kind of discourage this kind of thing and I think it's a bad idea because of that. Obviously I'm not one of those managers but what I previously mentioned combined with misunderstandings people have like asking for more training time or negotiating for more money, sometimes org owners develop a grudge for little things that shouldn't really matter and have biases against certain managers even for inter-alliance grudges or even being affiliated with certain alliances that themselves had a bad reputation in the past but has managers within that are actually good and may not even know about their shady pasts. Anyways I think it's not a good idea because some org owners and managers are whiny bitches (no offense). There are valid reasons for holding a grudge or cutting ties with certain people for sure and Lord knows most managers don't know what org owners have to put up with but if we start a ratings system like this, the petty shit will get lumped together with the legit shit and end up being a shit show. So no, please for the love of God no!
  21. Great topic/subject. I actually have set all my fighters for the last few years to Hype themselves after the fight and wondered if that was the best option. I figured that hype is all that really mattered and popularity was pretty much useless, but if in fact popularity increases have an impact on hype (or if the 'thank fans' option impacts hype as well) then that changes things a bit. So after reading your description of things it seems that "Thank fans" is more of a "slow and steady" approach with guaranteed but smaller/consistent gains to popularity and hype and then "Hype yourself" is sort of a risky option which can net you higher potential hype gains with a chance to reduce the hype gain from the win if your fighter puts his foot in his mouth. Ultimately it makes sense to hypothesize that the slow and steady/consistent option is better because we all know "slow and steady wins the race"
