BFE: Wednesday Wars 26 Preview

Roy Nelson(4-1) vs Fenix Espada(8-1): Kicking things off in the middleweight division we have striking specialist Roy Nelson taking on experienced Muay Thai fighter, Fenix Espada. After going 8 fights undefeated, Fenix Espada tasted defeat for the first time ever in his last fight, sucumbing to a triangle choke in the first round. He will look to get back to his winning ways when he makes his BFE debut against fellow promotional newcomer Roy Nelson. After losing his pro debut, Nelson went on a tear, having not lost a fight since. He is currently riding a four-fight winning streak and he will look to improve his record to 5-1 in his next fight. Both men are stand up specialist and this fight could go either way. Espada has a slight edge in the Muay Thai and wrestling departments while Nelson's boxing is far superior to his opponents. This one will all come down to who has the better gameplan.

My Prediction: Fenix Espada via TKO (Round 2)

Erick Rootmans(7-3) vs Lazarus Tate(7-1): The action continues in the middleweight division in our next match up, as Erick Rootmans takes on Lazarus Tate. Tate started his career off with a perfect 7-0 record, 5 of which were finishes, but suffered his first defeat in his last fight which was in fact his BFE debut. His opponent, Erick Rootmans, will be stepping into he BFE cage for the third time with his current record with the organization standing at 1-1. Both men are very well rounded and should be comfortable wherever this fight takes place. This one could go either way but I think Rootmans has more tricks up his sleeve to walk away with the win.

My Pediction: Erick Rootmans via Unanimous Decision

Arthur Faulk(13-4) vs Papy Abedi(9-5): Turning things over to the welterweight division, Arthur Faulk looks to make it two in a row when he gets in the cage with Papy "Makambo" Abedi. Both men are BFE vets so we know neither man has been facing any slouches. Faulk is notorious for preferring to stand and bang, constantly looking for the knockout, while Abedi prefers to mix up his striking with his takedowns to control his opponents wherever the fight goes. Arthur Faulk has some very heavy hands with 10 of his 13 wins coming via KO/TKO and if Abedi can't get this fight to the ground, expect this one to end quickly.

My Prediction: Arthur Faulk via Knockout (Round 1)

Horfniel Apollyon(21-10) vs Daryl Sharp(15-12): Up next, we have Daryl "Dagger" Sharp squaring off against Hofniel "The King" Apollyon. After going 15-0 at the beginning of his career, Apollyon has faced some consistency issues the last few times we've seen him. He will be looking to make it two in a row in his BFE debut. His opponent, Daryl Sharp, has also had trouble keeping things consistent over the course of his career but he will look to capitalize on the big opportunity in his debut with the organization against a seasoned vet like Apollyon. Personally, I think Apollyon's experience will make the difference in this fight.

My Prediction: Hofniel Apollyon via TKO (Round 2)

Krzysztof Kothciushco(7-9) vs Perry Roscrow(24-19): Crossing over to the heavyweight division, Perry Roscrow looks to snap a three-fight losing streak against Krzysztof Kothciushco, who will hope to continue his momentum after a first round knockout win at BFE: Sunday Scraps 9. Both men are known for their finishing ability so I wouldn't expect this one to go to a decision. Kothciushco has a high number of submission wins with his Brown Belt in BJJ so he will most likely try to get this fight to the ground as fast as he can, where he will have a big advantage.

My Prediction: Krzysztof Kothciushco via Submission (Round 2)

Kyriakos Seikkeris(10-4) vs Brutus Nash(8-1): Up next, we take things to the light heavyweight division where BFE vet Kyriakos Seikkeris hopes to make it three in a row against promotional newcomer Brutus Nash. Seikkeris definitely has the advantage standing up with all of his wins coming by way of KO/TKO. Nash, on the other hand, has a Brown Belt in BJJ so he will without a doubt look to get this fight to the ground as soon as possible and look for a quick tap out win. If Nash can work his grappling game, expect him to walk away victorious.

My Prediction: Brutus Nash via Unanimous Decision

Ken Tenthermos(18-4-1) vs Bethany Noel(14-9): Continuing things in the light heavyweight division, Bethany "The Beast" Noel will look to continue his momentum after scoring a 24 second knockout win in is BFE debut. It won't be easy though, as Noel is facing promotional newcomer "The Dime" Ken Tenthermos, who is looking to snap a two-fight losing streak. This fight will all come down to who can utilize their gameplan. Noel has world class striking while Tenthermos is a seasoned Jiu Jitsu specialist. If Tenthermos can get this fight to the ground, look for him to control his opponent en route to a decision win.

My Prediction: Ken Tenthermos via Unanimous Desision

Hunter Akbar(15-1) vs Danny Hendo(15-9): Coming of a 55 second knockout loss, Danny Hendo looks to get back in the win column when he squares off against Hunter Akbar, who is currently riding a four-fight winning streak. Both men are very well rounded but Akbar is a little more skilled in the boxing, wrestling, and Jiu Jitsu departments. Akbar will probably take this one to the ground and either submit Hendo or grind out a hard fought decision.

My Prediction: Hunter Akbar via Submission (Round 2)

Bill Clinton(20-7) vs Sergio Mello(16-11): In our co-main event of the evening, both Bill Clinton and Sergio Mello will step in the BFE cage for the fourth time. Both men are also coming off a loss so expect them to be hungry for victory. Mello has a Black Belt in BJJ so he might look to turn this into a grappling match while Clinton may try to keep this fight on the feet to avoid being submitted. This one could go either way but I think Mello will edge out a hard fought decision win.

My Prediction: Sergio Mello via Split Decision

Koral Creyonte(18-9) vs Juan Cabrillo(5-0): In our main event of the evening, welterweight champion Koral Creyonte will look to defend his belt against undefeated challenger Juan Cabrillo. Though his MMA career is young, Juan "El Perro" Cabrillo has high level skills in every aspect of the sport, with all of his wins coming by way of KO/TKO, four of which were in the first round. Cabrillo will face off against the experienced Koral Creyonte. Creyonte has won his last four fights, including his last one which earned him the belt. Both men are evenly matched but Cabrillo is riding a ton of momentum and I expect him to capitalize on this big opportunity.

My Prediction: Juan Cabrillo via TKO (Round 2)

Before he steps into the BFE cage, I was able to catch up with undefeated welterweight, Juan "El Perro" Cabrillo, and ask him a few questions before he challenges Koral Creyonte for the 170 lbs title at BFE: Wednesday Wars 26. Here's what he had to say.

Q: What do you think of your opponent? How do you think you match up with him stylistically?

A: "Creyonte is a warrior and very similar fighter to myself. We do have some differences but if I watch his fights, he's a grinder. He's going to try to take you down and pound you while spamming submissions. While he's found success at it, he hasn't been on the mat with [someone] of my wrestling and jits pedigree. I won't need to defend his shots and subs, I know my game, he will have to defend mine. I've never gotten to show my stand up and by watching his fights, he's afraid to stand up with anyone. I wonder if he even trains it! Ha. Does he even box bro? So hopefully he'll stand and bang a little bit if he's got the guts and skills to do so. It's an interesting fight though... he's a year younger than me and yet has so much more experience. My collegiate wrestling and coaching kept me from MMA so my record has to catch up to my skills and I think Creyonte will be a great test for me."

Q: Being undefeated, does that bring an extra amount of pressure coming into this fight?

A: "Nah, I've lost plenty of times in the gym and having grown up a wrestler, you learn to take losses as learning experiences. I don't need to be undefeated, I've just been lucky up to this point."

Q:Win or lose, where do you go after this fight?

A: "First of all, I go to a Chinese buffet and do some damage, son! Then I go back to my wife and kids, and the following day, I hit the gym. Belt or not, I love to train and I love to fight."

Q: Is there any fighter in BFE that you have your eye on that you feel would make a good fight?

A: "No, at this point it gets no bigger than Creyonte. He's the champ. He's got the metal I want."

Q: Any last words?

A: "Thanks for the interview and a shout out to the Costner Management Group for giving this opportunity so early into my career. They recognize the skills I possess I do not plan on disapointing them any time soon."

You can catch Cabrillo fight for the title on January 29th.

BFE: Bloodsport XXXIV Preview

Jackson Williams(15-8, 4-1BFE) v Thor Skarsgard(24-10, 3-1BFE)

In our main event of the evening, heavyweight champ Jackson Williams will look to defend his belt against the challenger, Thor Skarsgard. This fight is also a rematch between the two, as the first time we saw them square off was back in October at BFE: Wednesday Wars 16. In the first match, Skarsgard dominated his opponent for the first two rounds but Williams rallied back and eventually won via Kimura in the third round. As you can imagine, Skarsgard will be hungry for revenge and hopefully he has worked his gameplan a bit in order to adjust his skills to come out victorious in his second fight with Williams. If he has tweaked his gameplan up a bit and avoids his opponents dangerous Black Belt in BJJ, I think Sarsgard can come out on top in this one.

My Prediction: Thor Skarsgard via Knockout (Round 2)

Chris Chandler(11-1, 0-0 BFE) v Junior De Silva(14-4, 1-0 BFE)

In our co-main event of the evening, two light heavyweight prospects will square off, as Chris Chandler looks to make it nine in a row when he faces Junior De Silva. Both men have very similar styles with both of their strengths coming from their boxing and wrestling pedigrees. Promotional newcomer Chris Chandler is currently riding and eight fight winning streak with six of those coming via KO/TKO, while his opponent is coming off a first round TKO win in his BFE debut. I see this one being a back and forth stand up war, with Chandler getting the stoppage in the second or third round.

My Prediction: Chris Chandler via TKO (Round 2)

Scott Thorpe(17-13, 1-0 BFE) v James Hemingway(8-7, 0-2 BFE)

Up next we have Scott "The Hammer" Thorpe taking on James "The Grizzly Bear" Hemingway. Hemingway has come up short in first two BFE appearances, while his opponent is coming off back to back wins. James Hemingway is fairly well rounded but Thorpe is a little better on paper and should have more tricks up his sleeve.

My Prediction: Scott Thorpe via TKO (Round 1)

Davide Michieletto(20-7, 0-3 BFE) v William Anthony(14-12, 0-3 BFE)

Both men have come up short in the first three of their BFE showings. With the recent announcement of roster cuts being made to BFE, both fighters are in disparate need of a win if they hope to stay with the organization. Anthony has a slight advantage on the ground and in the clinch, and I think that will make the difference in this fight. I expect William Anthony to grind out a decision and get a much needed win.

My Prediction: William Anthony via Unanimous Decision

Mookie Hamfist(12-13, 1-1 BFE) v Keith Raw(9-5, 4-2 BFE)

Both men are coming off impressive wins with Mookie Hamfist picking up a first round submission win and Keith Raw earning a unanimous decision win at BFE: Christmas Chaos 2013. Raw has an advantage on the feet while his opponent is a bit more skilled in the ground department. This one will come down to who has the better gameplan going into this fight. If Keith Raw can keep this fight standing and pick his opponent apart, I see him getting the win.

My Prediction: Keith Raw via TKO (Round 2)

Long Haired Samson(11-3-1, 0-0 BFE) v Abraham Safforn(6-2, 0-0 BFE)

Up next we have a pair of promotional newcomers stepping into the BFE cage. Both men have a wide arsenal of skills but Safforn looks to be the higher level of fighter coming into this one. As long as Abraham Safforn avoids Samson's Black Belt in Jiu Jitsu, he should be able to get the win by either taking things to the clinch or working his strong boxing skills.

My Prediction: Abraham Safforn via Unanimous Decision

Courtney Upshaw(9-4, 0-0 BFE) v Eirik Rivfader(5-5, 0-1 BFE)

Continuing our action to the heavyweight division, Eirik Rivfader takes on promotional newcomer Courtney Upshaw. Both men have been rather inconsistent in their last few fights, so a win is definitely at the top of their priorities at the moment. Both men are known for their finishing ability, with a combined 13 total KO's/TKO's so I wouldn't expect this one to go to the judges. Though he's come up short in his last two outings, I think Rivfader has a slight advantage standing up and on the ground so I think he takes this one.

My Prediction: Rivfader via Knockout (Round 1)

Jack Knife(5-3, 0-1 BFE) v Tebato Nakara(7-9, 0-0 BFE)

Shifting things over to the lightweight division, Jack Knife faces off against Tebato Nakara. Both men are fairly evenly matched on paper so this one could be very close. This one could come down to who has the better fighter I.Q. In this case, I'm going with Jack Knife. He should be able to control Nakara throughout the fight and make things go his way.

My Prediction: Jack Knife via Unanimous Decision

Heng Keo(12-6, 0-1 BFE) v Mahti Sonni(20-14, 0-0 BFE)

Next up we have a scrap in the featherweight division. Keo is known for being almost impossible to finish, so Sonni will need to bring his A game and weather the storm. Mahti Sonni has a large number of fights on his résumé so the experience factor definitely goes to him. If Keo wants to win, he will need to mix things up and keep his opponent guessing.

My Prediction: Heng Keo via Unanimous Decision

Ricky Ricardo(8-4, 1-2 BFE) v George Pierre Hennard(4-1, 0-1 BFE)

Kicking things off on our night of action is a matchup in the light heavyweight division. Hennard is mainly known for winning a 16 man tournament held by QFC, where he defeated all of his opponents by submission. After winning the tournament, Hennard lost his BFE debut to Mookie Hamfist. Ricky Ricardo is no slouch on the ground either, holding a Black Belt in BJJ and winning seven of his eight fights by way of submission. Hennard's strongest aspect of his game is his ground skills but Ricardo should be too much for him, seeing as that's his specialty.

My Prediction: Ricky Ricardo via Submission (Round1)

Before he steps in the cage on Saturday for his rematch with Jackson Williams for the BFE heavyweight title, I had a chance to catch up with Thor Skarsgard and hear his thoughts on his upcoming fight. Here's what he had to say.

Q: Do you feel you have had the best possible training camp for this title shot?

A: "I don't think there is ever a "best" training camp but my gym out here in vegas "ballas only" has some of the best sparring partners around and the team has really pushed me to the next level so all the credit goes to my team-mates and coaches."

Q: Since this is a rematch, how are you planning to approach this fight?

A: "The same way I go into all of my fights... to drop God's hammer on my opponents face. You don't get a record of 24 wins and 24 KO's without going out and looking to put your opponent away, he's got a good chin, but I know he felt every time I hit him and this time I'm going to make sure he's victim #25."

Q: Do you think your first fight with Williams was a fluke?

A: "With all due respect to the champ, I think he knows it was a fluke. I accepted that fight on shorter notice, I did not have time to prepare and my cardio was not there. I was in control of that fight, but I expected to put him away early but he hung in there. To his credit, he locked up a good kimura and he was very strong, but this time there my cardio is the best it's ever been and where ever the fight goes I am ready to push the pace and break him."

Q: What do you think of your opponent?

A: "He's a good fighter, a strong grappler, and a great wrestler. He comes to finish and he's very aggresive, he's not content with putting on a boring fight and wrestling his way to a decision. However, if he does try to come forward and pressure me again, it's going to go very, very badly for him this time around and he can mark my words on that."

Q: Win or lose, what's next for you in BFE?

A: "I want to fight the best, BFE is one of the best in the world for strikers and putting on exciting fights and I want to be known as the best HW champion in history so I need to fight and beat the best. I want to show the world that Thor should be remembered as a modern day warrior and gladiator and most of all, a great champion."

Q: Any last words?

A: "I just want to give a shout out to all of my friends and family back home, it is very hard living so far away. Thank you to all my fans and my sponsor "buriedALIVE Fight Gear" without them I would not be here right now. So thank you to everyone who supports me and I will make sure I give it my all for you guys."

I gotta say, after hearing his thoughts on the fight, I'm even more excited for this matchup. You can catch Thor Skarsgard challenge Jackson Williams for the heavyweight title on February 1st at BFE: XXXIV.

Grant "The Animal" Norris

I'd wish congratulations to Donald Gaskins...but he's not going to have the title long enough to enjoy it. I'm going to knock Bayden Wood the fuck out and go take what is rightfully mine. If you want to be the best, Donald, you've got to take out the best and brother, I'm still very much alive.

BFE: Wednesday Wars 27 Preview

Ninnerd Disms(8-3, 1-1 BFE) v Tommy Sanders(4-1, 0-0 BFE)

In our main event of the evening, we have a collision in the heavyweight division as knockout specialist Ninnerd Disms takes on the heavy handed promotional newcomer Tommy "Thunder" Sanders. Sanders is coming off back to back knockout wins as he enters the organization. He will look to make it three in a row when he steps in the cage against Disms, who is coming off a first round TKO loss. Both men have had all of their wins come by way of knockout/TKO so I would be very surprised if this one went the distance. Both men are known for their dangerous boxing skills but Sanders is a bit more well rounded in all other aspects of the sport. If this one stays on the feet, it's anyone's fight but if Sanders fights smart and mixes it up, he should earn a hard fought win.

My Prediction: Tommy Sanders via TKO (Round 2)

Lucas Pereira(13-7, 0-0 BFE) v Mister Love(6-7-1, 5-3-1 BFE)

In our co-main event of the evening we have a pair of top featherweights squaring off as promotional newcomer Lucas Pereira faces BFE vet Mister Love. After a Fight of the Night win against Pedro Hernandez, Mister Love came up short in his last fight when he dropped a close decision to TJ Maximus. Pereira is coming off two straight losses, so he will definitely be hungry for a win coming into this fight. Love is very tough but Lucas Pereira is a bit more skilled both standing up and on the ground. Mister Love is a pretty tough guy to finish so I think Periera will mix it up and earn a decision win.

My Prediction: Lucas Pereira via Unanimous Decision

Archie Fallon(12-5, 0-1 BFE) v Amir Subdollah(11-8, 1-3 BFE)

Up next we have a pair of welterweights stepping in the cage as Amir Subdollah takes on Archi "Anvil" Fallon. Fallon came up short in his BFE debut after he dropped a unanimous decision win to Duck Tycoon. He will look to taste victory for the first time in the BFE cage when he squares off against Amir Subdollah who is coming off two straight losses. Both men have a lot of experience along with a well rounded arsenal, so this one will come down to who has the better gameplan. It will be close, but I'm going with Archie Fallon. If he comes in one hundred percent, expect him to get the finish.

My Prediction: Archie Fallon via TKO (Round 1)

Dirk Diggler(16-15, 0-2 BFE) v Nero Padilla(4-0, 0-0 BFE)

In our next fight, Mauy Thai expert Dirk Diggler faces off against QFC tournament winner Nero Padilla. Not only did Padilla win the QFC tournament but he also managed to finish all four of his opponents with none of his fights going past the second round. Dirk Diggler, on the other hand, has found little success in his BFE career, coming up short in both appearances so far, but with nine of his sixteen wins coming by way of knockout/TKO, his confidence in his finishing ability should always be high. Nero Padilla is definitely the more well rounded fighter in this match up, and I expect him to come out strong and put his opponent away.

My Prediction: Nero Padilla via Submission (Round 2)

Dmitry Saadiev(6-4, 2-2 BFE) v Barristan Selmy(12-3, 0-0 BFE)

Both men have quite a bit of hype coming into this fight, with Saadiev coming off back to back first round knockout wins, while Selmy is currently riding a six-fight winning streak. Although Selmy has dominat wrestling skills, I believe Saadiev has the tools to counter him, stylistically. Dmitry Saadiev has a big advantage on the feet along with a Purple Belt in BJJ that will surely cause problems for Barristan Selmy's ground game.

My Prediction: Dmitry Saadiev via Knockout (Round 1)

Dillon Pittsenbarger(4-1, 0-0 BFE) v Apo Abukay(5-4, 0-0 BFE)

Up next, we have a pair of featherweights making their BFE debuts. After winning a QFC tournament, Pittsenbarger came up short in his last fight, suffering a third round knockout loss. His opponent, Apo Abukay, had a two-fight winning snapped when he lost his last fight by way of first round TKO. With both men coming off losses, they will definitely be looking to make a big statement in their debut with the organization. Both men's strengths come from their grappling but Abukay is a bit more skilled in that area, holding a Brown Belt in Jiu Jitsu. Pittsenbarger might be able to control his opponent a bit with his wrestling but I ultimately see Abukay finding an opening and locking on a submission.

My Prediction: Apo Abukay via Submission (Round 2)

Dmonray Malapitan(18-17-1, 0-1-1 BFE) v Jack Cherry(4-4, 3-4 BFE)

Up next, we head over to the bantomweight division. Having fought most his career in BFE, Jack Cherry has faced nothing but top competition for almost the entirety of all of his fights. His opponent, Dmonray Malapitan, fought to a draw in his BFE debut and then suffered a knockout loss in his last outing. Cherry has a fairly strong wrestling base but he lacks in all other aspects of MMA. Malapitan, however, posessess strong boxing skills along with a Brown Belt in BJJ. Malapitan should have an answer for everything his opponent has to offer.

My Prediction: Dmonray Malapitan via Unanimous Decision

TJ Maximus(9-9, 1-2 BFE) v Sid Morrison(4-3, 4-3 BFE)

Up next, we have two top prospects in the featherweight division. Sid "Vicious" Morrison is coming off back to back wins with both ending via submission in under two minutes each. His opponent TJ Maximus recently snapped a three-fight losing streak, picking up a back and forth decision win against Mister Love. Maximus has the advantage standing up but both men are fairly evenly matched on the ground. In this case, I'm going with Morrison. He's riding a lot of momentum right now and I expect him to win a hard fought decision.

My Prediction: Sid Morrison via Unanimous Decision

Dale McCann(4-1, 1-0 BFE) v Kazuteru Machida(2-0, 0-0 BFE)

Up next, we will see striking specialist Dale McCann square off against seasoned grappler Kazuteru Machida. Machida has won both of his fights by submission, while his opponent prefers to keep things on the feet and pick his competition apart. If McCann can't keep this fight on the feet, expect Machida to get this fight to the ground and work his strong Jiu Jitsu game.

My Prediction: Kazuteru Machida via Submission (Round 2)

Blake Daughtry(4-1, 0-0 BFE) v Matthewo Kirkness Tw(3-4, 2-4 BFE)

Kicking off our card, we have BFE vet Matthew Kirkness taking on promotional newcomer Blake Daughtry. Both men are strong strikers with decent ground skills. Daughtry is a Purple Belt is BJJ while Kirkness posessess some dominant wrestling chops. I think this fight will take place on the feet, where Daughtry should get the win.

My Prediction: Blake Daughtry via Unanimous Decision

BFE: Bloodsport XXXV Peview

Donald Gaskins(18-6, 3-0 BFE) v Edgar Hoover(20-6, 0-0 BFE)

In our main event of the evening, BFE light heavyweight champion Donald Gaskins looks to defend his belt against the challenger and promotional newcomer, Edgar Hoover. Gaskins has tasted victory all three times he's set foot inside the BFE cage, picking up a first round head kick knockout in his last fight against Grant Norris, therefor winning the belt. His opponent, Edgar Hoover, was picked up by BFE after he secured a first round guillotine submission win the last time we saw him. With a combined 29 knockouts/TKO's between them, this one could end at any moment. Gaskins has a sizable advantage on the feet but Hoover is a bit more skilled in the grappling department, so he might look to take this fight to the ground. If Hoover comes in with a good gameplan, he could become the new champion but I think it's Gaskins' time right now.

My Prediction: Donald Gaskins via Knockout (Round 1)

Derric Styles(18-4, 3-1 BFE) v Leonard Christopher(14-6, 2-1 BFE)

In our co-main event of the evening we move up to the heavyweight division, as former BFE heavyweight champion Leonard Christopher looks to start the road to getting his belt back when he squares off against Derric Styles. Christopher lost his belt in his last fight, after coming up on the losing end of a back and forth, Fight of the Night, decision. His opponent, Derric Styles has won all three of his BFE wins by first round knockout so expect him to come out swinging, looking to make a statement over a big name like Christopher. Styles obviously has some serious knockout power, so Christopher should probably look to turn this into a grappling match, where he should have the advantage.

My Prediction: Leonard Christopher via Unanimous Decision

Sam Kwaak(23-13, 3-1 BFE) v James Jameson(16-7, 4-1 BFE)

Up next, Sam Kwaak and James Jameson will battle it out for the BFE featherweight title. With seven Fight of the Night performances between them, this one could be a barn burner. Both men are very well rounded accompanied by decorated records. Jameson is coming off back to back wins, while Kwaak recently had a three-fight winning streak end when he lost a decision to Jan Osman. This one could be very close, but I think Kwaak will edge out a back and forth decision win. Expect this one to be a war.

My Prediction: Sam Kwaak via Unanimous Decision

Charles Cooper(15-10, 1-0 BFE) v Jamar Lawal(13-4, 3-1 BFE)

In our next bout of the evening, submission specialist Jamar " Jee Lee" Lawal faces off against the heavy handed Charles "The Elbow" Cooper. Both men are coming off impressive wins, so whoever walks away victorious in this one will move a big step up on the welterweight ladder. This is a pretty classic striker vs grappler match up so I think it will all come down to who has the better gameplan. In this case, I think Cooper has the ability to keep the action on the feet and work his high level striking.

My Prediction: Charles Cooper via TKO (Round 1)

Duck Tycoon(12-4, 3-1 BFE) v Mikael Lindgren(9-5, 0-0 BFE)

Our action continues in the featherweight division, as Duck Tycoon squares off against promotional newcomer, Mikael Lindgren. Tycoon is currently riding a two-fight winning streak and he will definitely look to show off his heavy hands against grappling expert, Mikael Lindgren. Duck Tycoon has some strong striking but Lindgren isn't too shabby on the feet either. I think Lindgren can hang with Tycoon standing up and eventually put him away with his strong ground game.

My Prediction: Mikael Lindgren via Submission (Round 2)

Grant Norris(16-5, 1-1 BFE) v Bayden Wood(14-13, 0-0 BFE)

Up next, promotional newcomer, Bayden Wood, looks to make a statement in his BFE debut when he takes on Grant Norris, who looks to earn his 17th knockout win. With Wood having his first fight with the organization and Norris looking to bounce back from a brutal knockout loss in his last fight, both men will be hungry for a win. Both men are proven finishers so I wouldn't expect this one to go the distance. I think Norris might be biting off a little more than he can chew in this scenario. He mainly a striker with mediocre grappling skills. Wood, however, is a Black Belt in BJJ, so if this one goes to the ground, expect it to end quickly.

My Prediction: Bayden Wood via Submission (Round 2)

Rodniel Romero(15-7, 4-2 BFE) v Maciej Zegan(15-11, 0-1 BFE)

Turning things over to the lightweight division, Rodniel Romero looks to make it three in a Rowan when he takes on Maciej Zegan, who is seeking out his first win in the organization. Having strong boxing and wrestling skills, Zegan will feel most comfortable either staying on the outside looking to out strike his opponent or taking him down and working a dominant top position. Romero, however, is a Purple Belt in Jiu Jitsui and possesses some strong stand up skills as well. I think Romero will have an answer for everything Zegan has to offer.

My Prediction: Rodniel Romero via Submission (Round 2)

Ivan Kozlov(18-13, 0-0 BFE) v Jack Knife(6-3, 1-1 BFE)

Up next, a pair of lightweights face off as Jack Knife looks to capitalize on a big win in his last fight when he faces off against promotional newcomer, Ivan Kozlov. Kozlov is in hopes of snapping a two-fight losing streak along with picking up a win in his BFE debut. Both men are fairly even in every aspect, but I'm going with Jack Knife. I think he will start off strong and edge out a win in a back and forth fight.

My Prediction: Jack Knife via Unanimous Decision

Rocky Scalante(23-10, 2-1 BFE) v Bruce Leroy(10-10, 4-5 BFE)

Taking things over to the welterweight division, Rocky Scalante takes on Bruce Leroy. This if a pretty interesting match up. Scalante's strength are in his wrestling and boxing while Leroy is known for being fairly well rounded. Scalante will probably want o keep this one on the feet to avoid Leroy's Purple Belt in BJJ, and if this fight does in fact stay standing, it could go either way. Both men have proven knockout power and it might just come down to who connects first. I'm leaning towards Scalante.

My Prediction: Rocky Scalante via TKO (Round 1)

Robert E Conan(8-4, 0-0 BFE) v Gennaro Gattuso(7-2, 0-0 BFE)

In our first fight of the evening we have a pair of lightweight fighters making their BFE debuts. Both Conan and Gattuso will surley be looking to make an impact in the organization. Both men are very strong all around fighters but Gattuso is a bit more skilled in every aspect of the sport. He should be comfortable wherever this fight takes place.

My Prediction: Gennaro Gattuso via Unanimous Decision

BFE: Wednesday Wars 28 Preview

Marcus Sakkara(11-5, 2-1BFE) v Dwayne Hubbard(8-3, 1-1 BFE)

In our main event of the evening, we have a clash in the heavyweight division as Marcus "Legionarivs" Sakkara faces off against Dwayne "DEVIL'S CUTT" Hubbard. Both men are coming off disapointing losses so they will definitely be hungry for a win. Hubbard's strengths rely in his solid boxing skills and Brown Belt in Brazillian Jiu Jitsu, while his opponent, Sakkara, is known for his world class striking and knockout power, with all of his wins coming by way of knockout/TKO. If Sakarra can keep things standing up, I see him picking Hubbard apart and finishing him.

My Prediction: Marcus Sakarra via TKO (Round 1)

Brande Eideann(9-4, 1-1 BFE) v Billy Skank(14-11, 0-0 BFE)

Turning over to the light heavyweight division, exciting grappler, Brande Eideann squares off against promotional newcomer, Billy Skank. Having already fought in BFE twice already, Brande Eideann has picked up Fight of the Night in his debut and Submission of the Night in his last fight, which was a second round rear naked choke victory over Mariusz Gorawski. Eideann will surley be looking for another bonus come fight night. His opponent, Billy Skank, has lost his last three fights all by way of strikes, so he will without a doubt be looking to get back in the win column as quick as possible. Skank's last few fights haven't really shown how talented he actually is so hopefully he can capitalize on the big opportunity with BFE. It could go either way but I think Eideann will edge out a back and forth win.

My Prediction: Brande Eideann via Unanimous Decision

Brooks Buford(10-5-1, 1-1 BFE) v Lonnie Poon(5-5, 5-3 BFE)

Up next, world class grappler, Brooks Buford, takes on BFE vet, Lonnie Poon. Poon recently saw a three-fight winning streak come to a halt when he suffered a first round knockout loss to Juan Cabrillo. Brooks Buford is also coming of a loss, so both men will have high hopes to get back in the win column. I think this one will come down to who has the better gameplan and fighter I.Q. Unless Buford can get this one to the ground quickly, I see Poon utilizing his superior striking skills to get the win.

My Prediction: Lonnie Poon via TKO (Round 2)

Staph Aureus(17-10, 2-2 BFE) v Ultimate Warrior(12-8, 0-0 BFE)

Moving back up to the heavyweight division, well known finisher, Staph Aureus, looks to make it two in a row against Ultimate Warrior, who is making his BFE debut. Both men are coming off big wins with Ultimate Warrior winning a lopsided unanimous decision in his last outing and Staph Aureus picking up a first round Submission of the Night armbar win. Warrior's main strength is his wrestling but I think Aureus can counter that with his strong Jiu Jitsu and submission skills. Look for Staph Aureus to come out strong and get the finish.

My Prediction: Staph Aureus via Submission (Round2)

Greg Anthony(7-5, 6-5 BFE) v Reynard The Fox(5-4, 1-2 BFE)

In our next fight of the evening, submission specialist, Reynard The Fox, takes on BFE vet, Greg Anthony. Having fought almost his entire career in BFE, Greg Anthony has faced nothing but tough competition, utilizing his solid Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu skills to make up a respectable, winning record with the organization. The man standing across from him in the cage, Reynard The Fox, is has also seen his way around BFE and has yet to even make it put of the first round in any of his fights so far. Win, lose or draw, Fox comes to scrap. Anthony is a tough guy but Fox's ground game will be too much for him.

My Prediction: Reynard The Fox via Submission (Round 1)

Wolfgang Steuermann(10-9-1, 1-3 BFE) v Teitur Gunnarsson(16-6, 1-1 BFE)

In our next fight, knockout specialist, Teitur Gunnarsson, faces off against seasoned grappler, Wolfgang Steuermann. With all of his wins coming by way of stoppage, Steuermann will be looking to make Gunnarsson finish number eleven. Gunnarsson int by of finished himself with 11 of his 16 wins ending via knockout/TKO. This one will come down to who can utilize their gameplan first nd in this case, I think Steuermann can turn this into a grappling match where he I'll have a big advantage.

My Prediction: Katafalkas Katas via Unanimous Decision

JP Gill(7-4, 0-1 BFE) v Lonje Moco(17-9-1, 1 NC BFE)

After missing weight in his first scheduled BFE bout, Lonje Moco will look to erase the No Contest from his memory and make more of an impact on the light heavyweight division. Both men are known or their strong wrestling skills with decent stand up skills to boost. This one will come down to who can obtain a dominant position first. In this one, I think Moco has a slight advantage on the ground and he should walk away victorious.

My Prediction: Lonje Moco via Unanimous Decision

Freddie Holloza(4-3, 1-2 BFE) v Unigu Rege(13-8, 0-0 BFE)

In our next fight of the evening, knockout specialist, Freddie Holloza, faces off against promotional newcomer, Unigu Rege. With all of his wins coming by way of first round knockout/TKO, Holloza will look to make Rege victim number five. After losing his last two fights, Unigu Rege will be looking to get back in the win column in his BFE debut. Both men are fairly well rounded but I think Holloza has a few more tools to take care of Rege.

My Prediction: Freddie Holloza via TKO (Round 1)

Robert Sarbanes Oxley(4-6, 1-5 BFE) v Dem Bonez(2-3, 0-2 BFE)

In our first fight of the evening, Robert Sarbanes Oxley and Dem Bonez look to to get back on track with big win on this card. After winning his first two fights, Bonez has lost his last three and he would like nothing more than to get a huge win over a vet like Oxley. Oxley himself is looking to get some momentum going after losing his last few fights. Even though he hasn't shown his full potential lately, Oxley is the far superior fighter. Everything Bonez can do, Oxley can do better and I expect a quick finish.

My Prediction: Robert Sarbanes Oxley via Knockout (Round 1)

BFE: Bloodsport XXXVI Preview

Mike Henderson(22-9-2 2-0 BFE) v Hilio Gracie(14-2, 3-0 BFE) *155 lbs title

In our main event of the evening, two men will be squaring off for the lightweight title. Mike "The Mauler" Henderson won the title in his last fight, defeating Kassidy Cullen in the process. He will not have an easy first title defense though, as his opponent, Hilio "Hangman" Gracie, is undefeated in BFE, with 12 of his 14 wins being finishes. Gracie is known for his strong grappling pedigree, with world class submissions and ground and pound. He will most likely look to get this one to the ground quickly and look to punish his opponent. The champ, Henderson, will not go down without a fight though. Henderson likes to mix up his scary stand up skills with well timed takedowns and with 10 of his 22 wins coming by way of knockout/TKO, it's hard to argue that he's one of the best lightweights in the Las Vegas fight scene. This one will be a back and forth fight but I think Henderson can mix it up and keep it interesting, barely edging out a decision win.

My Prediction: Mike Henderson via Unanimous Decision

Gabriel Lewis(9-1, 1-0 BFE) v Baas Baako(8-0, 6-0 BFE)

In our co-main event of the evening, we have a pair of knockout specialists facing off as Gabriel Lewis looks to pick up his seventh win in a row against the undefeated Baas Baako. Baako has never tasted defeat in his pro career with seven of his eight wins ending by way of strikes. His opponent, Lewis, is riding a huge win streak at the moment, picking up a first round TKO win due to a cut in his BFE debut. Both men are solid prospects in BFE and a win here could make one of them a possible contender. Both men a evenly match but I think Baako has what it takes to get the finish. Either way, someone's getting knocked out.

My Prediction: Baas Baako via Knockout (Round 1)

Doctor Mundo(9-2, 4-1 BFE) v Abdul Raheem(12-3, 4-3 BFE)

Up next, we have a pair of heavyweights with some serious knockout power in their hands as Doctor Mundo goes head to head with Abdul Raheem. Both men have quite a bit of experience in BFE so we all know they have been facing nothing short of top competitors. Raheem has bounced back and forth between wins and losses in his last few fights, winning two of his last five, while Mundo is currently riding a two-fight winning streak. With a combined 20 knockouts between them, I see nothing short of fireworks in this one. This fight could ultimately come down to who simply lands first but I think Raheem can get this one to the clinch where he will have a big advantage.

My Prediction: Abdul Raheem via TKO (Round 2)

David Abott(8-4, 0-0 BFE) v Hjalti Eyj(8-1, 4-0 BFE)

In our next fight of the evening, former Los Angeles Cage Blaze champion David Abbot squares off against Hjalti Eyj, who is undefeated in BFE. After dropping his last two fights, Abbot will definitely be looking to get back in the win column in his debut in the organization. Eyj, on the other hand, is riding a four-fight winning streak, all of which were against tough guys in BFE. Abbot his a solid addition to Bloodsport but I think Eyj has so much momentum coming into this fight, it's hard to picture him losing.

My Prediction: Hjalti Eyj via Submission (Round 2)

Wendell Oliveira(16-8-2, 1-0 BFE) v Marcus Maven(13-5, 2-0 BFE)

Moving things down to the bantomweight division, Wendall Oliveira takes on Marcus Maven. Both men are undefeated in BFE, definitely proving their worth in the organization. Oliveira and Maven are both pretty evenly matched but, in my opinion, Maven has a pretty huge advantage in the Muay Thai department so it he's smart, he will take it to the clinch as soon as possible. If he can do that, Maven will walk away victorious.

My Prediction: Marcus Maven via TKO (Round 1)

Helio dos Passos(13-5, 1-0 BFE) v Bernard Benton(9-4, 5-3 BFE)

In our next fight, BFE vet, Bernard Benton, looks to get his tenth win against grappling specialist, Helio dos Passos. Passos won his BFE debut in his last fight, picking up a second round Submission of the Night Kimura win. His opponent, Brenton, prefers to mix up his world class striking with his dominant wrestling skills, finishing six of his nine wins by knockout/TKO. This one will come down to who fights the smarter fight and utilizes their gameplan better. In this case, I think Brenton has more tricks up is sleeve to pick up the win.

My Prediction: Bernard Brenton via Unanimous Deision

Rubin Carter(18-7-1, 0-1 BFE v Victor Sagat(6-2, 0-0 BFE)

Moving things over to the middleweight division, we have Rubin Carter and Victor Sagat who are both seeking out heir first in in BFE. Carter lost his debut under the BFE banner but he did manage to impress fans with his "never say die" attitude. Even though he didn't get his hand raised, Crter definitely proved he's a threat in Bloodsport. His opponent, Victor Sagat, has won three of his last five, utilizing his well rounded arsenal to pick his opponents apart. With a combined nine Fight of the Night bonuses between them, this one could be a barn burner. Both men have a lot to offer but I see Carter edging out a hard fought decision win.

My Prediction: Rubin Carter via Unanimous Decision

Mariusz Gorawski(21-15-1, 0-1 BFE) v James Coach(15-9, 0-0 BFE)

Coming up next, striking specialist, Mariusz Gorawski, looks to snap a three-fight losing streak when he takes on promotional newcomer, James Coach. Both men are coming off a series of losses so they will be hungry to get a win as quick as they can. Coach likes to mix things up every chance he gets, while Gorawski looks to end things with his fists wherever the fight takes place. Both men desparatly need a win here so expect them to come out guns blazin'. This one will be close but I think Coach will be a little trickier and eventually come out on top.

My Pediction: James Coach via TKO (Round 1)

Michael Melton Sr(15-7, 2-3 BFE) v Alex Jones(12-11, 0-0 BFE)

In our next bout of the evening, nine-time Fight if the Night winner Michael Melton Sr faces off against knockout specialist Alex Jones. After a quick stint in ICON, Alex Jones will look to score his eighth win by way of knockout/TKO. His opponent, Michael Melton Sr, is coming off an exciting scrap with Rubin Carter at BFE: Christmas in the Cage 2013. Both men have high level skills but Melton, in my opinion, has faced tougher competition and I think that will give him a big advantage.

My Prediction: Michael Melton Sr via Unanimous Decision

Damian Khan(5-0-1, 0-0 BFE) v Michael Nguyen(7-0, 2-0 BFE)

In our first fight on the card, a pair of heavyweights who have never tasted defeat inside the cage will face off to make a name for themselves in BFE. We've seen Nguyen in Bloodsport before where he picked up two first round finishes by way of knockout/TKO. He will look to continue the momentum when he takes on Damian Khan who is making his promotional debut. Khan is a grappler at heart and he likes to get things to the matt as soon as possible to work his solid submission game. Nguyen also has some decent ground skills but his striking is far superior to Khan's and that's what will make the difference in this fight.

My Prediction: Michael Nguyen via Knockout (Round 1)

Before he steps into the BFE cage against Pol Cuaresma liii, I got a chance to sit down with Jorge Camacho and ask him a few questions regarding his upcoming fight. Here's what he had to say:

Q: What do you think of your opponent?

A: First of all I would like to say thank you for inviting me to this interview ...

well ... my opponent ... he is a former world title holder and a quite talented striker ... I give him that ... but I am a much better striker, and a grappler ... and I m sure the BFE fans will see fireworks in this match ... this will either be the fight of the night or surely a sub or a KO if the night .. but either way my hand will be raised at the end of the night ... that I gurantee ...

Q: What are your thoughts on being the main event on the card. Does it bring any sort if extra pressure to the fight?

A: BFE offers the fighter the ultimate test ... talent vice BFE has the best fighters in the world and they are obviously mentally tough ... I am sure I can adapt to the pressure of being in the main event at Wednesday wars ... but what I think of it is as an oppourtunity to show the world that I'm a world class fighter who is ready to become a title contender ....

Q: You've finished all of your fights so far, so is it safe to say we will be you be seeing someone get knocked out or submitted on Wednesday night?

A: Mark my words mate ... someone's gonna get KOed or submitted and that ain't gonna be me ... don't blink ... I am bringing another spectacular finish to this fight ... I want the KO or the SUB of the night award .. would love some extra cash [you] know ... (laugh)

Q: With a big opportunity like this, do you think a win would put you at he top of the division and eventually get you near a title shot?

A: [W]hen I came to BFE, there's only one intention. And that is to become the world champion someday ... day by day my training gets better and I think a win over my opponent will boost me up the rankings and I will eventually be a BFE champion... that's myt goal .. and that what I train hard everyday .... I want this oppourtunity and I will take it ...

Q: Is there any fighter in BFE you have your eye on as a possible opponent?

A: I am ready for any opponent BFE puts infront of me ... as I said I want to be at the top of the mountain .. to do that u have to beat the best ...

Q: Any last words?

A: [A]t last I would like to thank you for this interview and BFE for having me ... and my gym Evolution MMA Academy and Gym at London and my training partners for an awesome camp .... Thanks ... and at last but not least my fans for being there for me everytime I step into the cage ...

You can catch Camacho's fight at BFE Wednesday Wars 29 on February 20th.

Jorge Camacho(5-1, 4-1 BFE) v Pol Cuaresma Iiii(13-4 1-1 BFE)

In our main event of the evening, knockout specialist, Pol Cuarsema liii squares off against Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt, Jorge Camacho. This is a very big fight in the bantomweight division so a win here could put either man near the top of the league. In his last fight, Camacho bounced back from a tough loss and picked up a Submission of the Night, Kimura win in just 26 seconds. Having finished all of his fights so far, Camacho will surley look to not make this one any different. Standing across from him is Cuaresma, who started his BFE career off strong but stuffed a first round TKO loss on his last bout. Cuaresma will no doubt look to get back in the win column in this fight. This one will come down to who can utilize their gameplan. Cuaresma will probably look to grind his opponent against the cage and pepper him with strikes, while Camacho would probably like for this one to go to the ground so he can work his advanced submission game. This one could be close but after I spoke with Camacho in a previous interview, he seemed to have a fire lot under him with crazy aggression in his mind. Based off of his mindset, I'm thinking Camacho will walk away victorious in this one.

My Prediction: Jorge Camacho via Submission (Round 2)

Mordecai Wollsey(23-18, 2-2 BFE) v Chad Odorisio(5-5, 5-5 BFE)

In our co-main event of the evening, BFE vet, Chad Odorisio takes on well rounded, Mordecai Wollsey, who is looking to make it three wins in a row. After coming up short in his first two fights in BFE, Wollsey found some momentum and is now coming off back to back wins, including a back and forth split decision win over former title holder Ronan Yamokivic in his last bout. His opponent, Odorisio, is coming off an impressive decision win of his own and he will surely look to execute his well rounded skillet in this fight. Both men have high level skills in all aspects of MMA so this one will come down to who fights smarter. This one will be a tug of war affair but I think Odorisio will be able to edge out a hard fought win.

My Prediction: Chad Odorisio via Unanimous Decision

Jack Clark(22-18, 0-0 BFE) v White Sons(10-7, 0-1 BFE)

Coming up next, former WOTLA title challenger, White Sons, takes on promotional newcomer, Jack Clark.

Clark will be making his debut in BFE and with 15 of his 22 wins coming by way of knockout/TKO, he will definitely be looking to make a big statement in the organization. White Sons, on the other hand, has already fought in Bloodsport but came up short, losing via disapointing third round knockout. Expect both men to come in hungry but I think Clark has the ability to keep things on the feet and eventually finish Sons.

My Prediction: Jack Clark via TKO (Round 2)

Rolando Souto(20-13-2, 1-3 BFE) v Erick Silvinho(5-4, 0-1 BFE)

Taking things over to the welterweight division, submission specialist, Rolando Souto, squares off against well rounded Erick Silvinho. Silvinho will be looking to snap a three-fight losing streak, including losing a razor thin decision in his BFE debut. Silvinho has a wide arsenal of weapons, he just needs to showcase them if he wants to make an impact in Bloodsport. His opponent is the fan favorite, Rolando Souto, who has picked up nine Fight Night bonuses over the corse of his long career. Silvinho's best chance of winning this fight is of he keeps things on the feet but if he can't do that, Souto will overwhelm him with his dominant wrestling and BJJ skills.

My Prediction: Rolando Souto via Unanimous Decision

Travis Lucas Jr(8-0, 3-0 BFE) v Akihiro Shirasu(7-1, 0-0 BFE)

Up next, we have a scrap in the light heavyweight division. Undefeated prospect, Travis Lucas Jr will walk into the BFE cage hoping to pick up another highlight reel knockout to add to his resume and after winning all three of his Bloodsport fights by way of strikes, that is a high possibility. His opponent, Akihiro Shirasu, consideres himself more of a grappler, possessing strong wrestling and Jiu Jitsu skills. Shirasu will look to make a name for himself in his first fight under the BFE banner. This one will all come down to who can execute their gameplan better. Lucas has some strong wrestling but he should probably avoid the ground all together in order to stay clear of Shirasu's submission game and keep things on the feet. If he does that, he will end this fight in brutal fashion.

My Prediction: Travis Lucas Jr via Knockout (Round 1)

Jesse James Jobber(9-5, 3-3 BFE) v Pavel Sherbo(7-1, 0-1 BFE)

Taking things over to the lightweight division, seasoned boxing specialist, Pavel Sherbo, takes on BFE vet Jesse James Jobber. After winning his first seven fights, Pavel Sherbo tasted defeat for the first time in his debut in BFE. Having all of his wins come by way of knockout/TKO, Sherbo is a proven finisher. His opponent, Jesse James Jobber, is also known for his finishing ability, ending eight if his nine wins via strikes. Jobber is also coming off a loss so he will definitely be hungry for a win. Sherbo has a good skill set but Jobber should have more tricks o his sleeve to walk away victorious.

My Prediction: Jesse James Jobber via Knockout (Round 1)

Kamil Korczewski(11-12, 3-3 BFE) v Dexter Turnbuckle(4-2, 4-2 BFE)

Coming up next, we have a pair of boxing specialists facing off as Kamil Korczewski steps in the cage with Dexter Turnbuckle. Both men are coming off tough losses so they will without a doubt be hungry for a win. Both men are known for their stand up skills but Korczewski is a bit better overall. Korczewski has the option to either keep things standing or take things to the ground to rely on his superior Jiu Jitsu. Either way, I see Korczewski getting his hand raised.

My Prediction: Kamil Korczewski via TKO (Round 2)

Zhu Fangyu(18-9, 0-0 BFE) v Tyron Woodley(5-1, 2-0 BFE)

In our next fight of the evening, a pair of well rounded welterweights face off, as Tyron Woodley looks to make it four wins in a row against Zhu Fangyu, who is making his Bloodsport debut. Both men are known for their solid cardio, having won most of their bouts by decision, so you can expect fast paced action throughout the fights entirety. Fangyu is a solid addition to BFE but I think Woodley's world class wrestling will make the difference here. Fangyu won't go down without a fight but Woodley will be too much for him.

My Prediction: Tyron Woodley via Unanimous Decision

Sterling Archer(9-10, 3-4 BFE) v Dave Sherk(5-5, 4-4 BFE)

Coming up next, a pair of BFE vets will be going head to head as Sterling Acher takes on Dave Sherk. Both men have been in Bloodsport for quite some time so we know they have been facing nothing short of top competition. Both men are fairly well rounded but Archer is especially known for his high level Jiu Jitsu skills and I think that's what will make the difference in this fight. If Archer can get his one to the ground, it will be a quick night for Sherk.

My Prediction: Sterling Archer via Submission (Round 1)

Alex Holmes(6-7, 5-6 BFE) v Todd Haiyes(6-9, 3-6 BFE)

In our first fight of the evening, BFE vets Alex Holmes and Todd Haiyes will look to to put on an entertaining fight to start off the card. Both men are known for their solid wrestling and Muay Thai abilities so this one will come down to who can simply execute their gameplan and get the dominant position first. Both men are pretty evenly matched but Holmes has a slight advantage on the feet and on the ground and I think he will edge out a hard fought decision win.

My Prediction: Alex Holmes via Unanimous Decision

Cormac Gutz(15-5-2, 5-1 BFE) v Ava Noel(8-4, 3-0 BFE) *185 lbs title*

In our main event of the evening we have a clash for the BFE middleweight title. The champion, Cormac Gutz, looks to defend his belt against the challenger, Ava Noel. Noel is undefeated in BFE, finishing all of his wins via first round knockout/TKO with none of them going past three minutes. Ava Noel is mainly known as a stand up fighter, having competed in kickboxing as well, so it will be interesting to see how he handles himself on the ground. Certain striking specialists find it difficult to adjust to the well rounded skill set of mixed martial arts so Noel is going to have to show his full arsenal if he wants to get the belt in this fight. His opponent, Cormac Gutz, won the belt back in December and has looked unstoppable since then. Gutz is currently riding a three fight winning streak, ending all of them by way of strikes. Gutz posesses strong stand up skills but also has high level grappling skills so he might want to rely on that in this fight. If it stays on the feet it could go either way but if Gutz plays it smart and gets this fight to the ground, I see him finishing Noel with ease.

My Prediction: Cormac Gutz via TKO (Round 2)

Meat Loaf(26-9, 3-1-1NC BFE) v Rauno Repomies(22-15, 1-2 BFE)

In our co-main event of the evening, former BFE bantamweight champion, Meat Loaf, squares off against Rauno Repomies. After losing the 135 lbs strap in his last fight to Uruhara Hatake, Meat Loaf will now be looking to get bak on track towards another title run. With a Black Belt in BJJ along with high level striking and wrestling pedigrees, things are looking good for Loaf. His opponent, Raunl Repomies, tasted victory for the first time in BFE in his last fight, winning via brutal flyng knee knockout. The finish also earned Repomies his fourth Knockout of the Night bonus. This is a pretty interesting match up since both men have high level skills in all aspects of MMA but I think Meat Loaf is just a bit better overrall and I think he will be able to barley edge out Repomies.

My Prediction: Meat Loaf via Unanimous Decision

Luis Garavito(13-8, 0-0 BFE) v Arana Kahui(8-2, 0-0 BFE)

Up next, a pair of promotional newcomers will be facing off as knockout specialist, Arana Kahui, takes on the elways exciting, Luis Garavito. Garavito is coming off back to back wins, both in QFC, so he will definitely be looking to continue the momentum in his Bloodsport debut. His opponent, Arana Kahui, is a proven finisher, having won all of his fight via knockout/TKO. Kahui won his last fight by way of devastating knockout in just 48 seconds so he will be looking to showcase his heavy hands in his new home in BFE. Both men have proven knockout ability so this is definitely going to be an exciting one. Garavito has looked good recently but Kahui is a bit more technical and I think he will pick his opponent apart and eventually finish him.

My Pediction: Arana Kahui via Knockout (Round 1)

Aquiles Bergasmarchi(11-4, 7-3 BFE) v Mak Artur(16-13, 0-0 BFE)

In our next bout of the evening, submission specialist, Aquiles Bergasmarchi, goes head to head with promotional newcomer, Mak Artur. Artur has been a bit up and down recently, going 3-3 in his last six. But with endless cardio and the ability to be comfortable wherever the fight takes place, Artur has what it takes to make some serious waves in the lightweight division. Standing across from him in the cage is world class grappler, Aquiles Bergasmarchi, who has proven to be one of the best submission artists in Bloodsport, with 10 of his 11 wins ending via tapout. This one could be pretty close but if Artur fights smart and keeps things on the feet where he has a big advantage, he should walk away victorious.

My Prediction: Mak Artur via Unanimous Decision

Mark Boxer(7-6, 0-0 BFE) v Caleb Foster(29-7, 0-0 BFE)

Coming up next, a pair of middleweights will be making their debuts in Bloodsport. Mark Boxer is the former champ in Syracuse Fighting Championship so we know he has faced some top guys in the New York fight scene. Boxer also has proven high level cardio skills so you can expect fast paced action from him from start to finish. Caleb Foster, on the other hand, prefers to end things quickly, with 25 of his 29 wins being finishes and a combined 15 Fight Night bonuses. Foster has showed his high leve, grappling skills but he's also not afraid to stand and bang so this fight could take place anywhere. Both men are fairly evenly matched but I think Foster's experience will be the deciding factor. He's a veteran in the sport and that will give him a distinct advantage.

Caleb Foster via Unanimous Decision

Jason Yee(13-5, 3-1 BFE) v Henry Kissinger(21-8, 0-0 BFE)

Up next, a pair of knockout specialists square off as Jason Yee takes on Henry Kissinger. Kissinger will be debuting in Bloodsport having won four of his last five and with 12 of his 21 wins ending via strikes, he's clearly out his heavy hands to good use over the course of his career. His opponent, Jason Yee, also has proven knockout ability, finishing 11 of his victories in said fashion. Whoever gets their hand raised tonight, one thing his clear, someone is getting put to sleep. This one could go either way but I think Yee is a bit more skilled on the feet, which is where I see this fight taking place. Yee should come in technical and look to pick Kissinger apart.

My Prediction: Jason Yee via TKO (Round 3)

Ric Landeverde(8-5, 3-1 BFE) v Burer Mutant(8-1, 3-0 BFE)

Up next, QFC tournament winner, Burer Mutant, looks to make it four in a row against Ric Landeverde, who is also currently riding a three-fight winning streak. Both men have looked impressive lately, with Landeverde coming off a Fight of the Night decision win over Cherles Whitman, and Mutant picking up a first round TKO win in his last outing over Seth Jakobs. This one will be a back and forth affair but I think Landeverde is a bit more skilled in some of the more defined aspects of MMA and I think that will be the deciding factor.

My Prediction: Ric Landeverde via Submission (Round 2)

Ralph Cramdon(7-0-1, 7-0-1 BFE v Wrest Wallberg(3-0, 1-0 BFE)

In our next fight we have a pair of top prospects in BFE. After going 2-0 in QFC, Wrest Wallberg got the call to be on the big show and he did not waste it. Wallberg made the most of the opportunity, scoring a first round knockout in his debut. His opponent, Ralph Cramdon, has fought his entire career in Bloodpsprt, so he has faced nothing but New York's top fighters. Cramdon is known as a world class grappler, with all of his wins coming by way of impressive submission. Wallberg also has some solid ground tactics but I think it will be his stand up that makes the difference. Cramdon hasn't quite evolved his striking yet and hat could really cost him in this fight. Wallberg should try to use his grappling in defensive mode and keep things on the feet, using his superior striking to get the win.

My Prediction: Wrest Wallberg via Knockout (Round 1)

Rand Al Thor(8-4, 5-3 BFE) v Ac Res(9-7, 0-1 BFE)

In our next fight of the evening, former BFE champion, Rand Al Thor, faces off against submission specialist, Ac Res. Both men are in need of a win here so expect them to come out hungry. Res definitely has the better Jiu Jitsu skills but Thor is better everywhere else. If this one goes to the ground and Res can't find the submission, he will be in big trouble. Thor should be able to set the pace and make this his fight.

My Prediction: Rand Al Thor via TKO (Round 2)

Juan Dimagiba(14-9, 0-1 BFE) v John Black(19-15, 0-1 BFE)

Kicking off our card, knockout specialist, Juan Dimagiba takes on promotional newcomer, John Black. Black is known for having a well rounded game and tendencies to be comfortable wherever his fights take place. His opponent, Dimagiba, posesses dominat wrestling abilities topped off with brutal ground and pound skills. Black definitely has the advantage standing up but if Dimagiba can get this one to the ground, he could give his opponent problems. This one all depends on where the fight takes place but I think Dimagiba has what it takes to get his first BFE win.

My Prediction: Juan Dimagiba via Unanimous Decision

Before he steps on the cage against Edward Black Scholes at BFE Sunday Scraps 11, I had I chance to sit down and doo a quick interview with lightweight, Ric Flores. Here's what he had to say:

Q: How do you think you match up with your opponent, Edward Black Scholes, stylistically?

A: "Stylistically, I'm the better stand up fighter. He's a great wrestler but i think my Cesar Gracie brown belt can counter act his wrestling."

Q: What do you think of Scholes?

A: "Scholes, he's just another opponet in my way to the top. He's a tough kid. 8 of his 13 fights [have] been by decision but one of my felllow team mate from Scrap Squad fought scholes 3 times, Mike Alvarez, so we have a pretty good grasp on how he fights and he's been helping me a lot in training for this fight to defend his takedowns and his ground and pound."

Q: Being undefeated in BFE, does that bring additional pressure into this fight?

A: "No! No pressure at all. I'm pretty confident with my skills against Scholes. I train with some of the best. Gilbert Melendez and Jake Shields and the Diaz brothers out in Lodi at the Gracie Camp. Having those type of athletes in your corner, sky's the limit with them guys."

Q: A win here would make you 3-0 under the Bloodsport Banner. If you walk away victorious, do you think you will be placed near the top of the division?

A: "That's what were gunning for, at lease right now. I have my sight on that number 10 spot and work my way up from there. I've only been traning MMA for five years now, I'm not like most of these guys who's been traing MMA since the age of 5. I started at the age of 20 when i got out of the California Youth Authority."

Q: After this fight, is there any fighter in BFE that you would like to fight?

A: "Well, so far there hasn't been any real assholes or villians in the BFE that smack talk everybody. [it's] pretty respectful here so there [is] not really a guy were I just wanna kick the hell out of his ass. I just keep on fighting any one BFE puts in front of me."

Q: Any last words?

A: "First, I wanna thank you for this interview and getting me out of practice for a hour (laughs). I also wanna thank my team, the Scrap Squad and all my boys at El Niño gym in San Franciso for getting me ready for this fight."

You can catch Flores fight on February 23rd at BFE Sunday Scraps 11

BFE Sunday Scraps 11 Preview

Vo Nguyen Giap(18-12-1, 2-0 BFE) v Jean Charles(17-10, 3-1 BFE)

In our main event of the evening, former BFE featherweight champion, Jean Charles, squares off against Vo Nguyen Giap, who is undefeated in Bloodsport and currently riding a four-fight winning streak. Known for his world class striking ability, Giap has proven he's a top guy in BFE with wins over Burt Guth and Spider Trenton. And with half if his wins coming by way of knockout, he's always game and constantly looking for the finish. His opponent, Jean Charles, lost the belt back in December but now he's back on track and looking to gain some momentum against a top guy like Giap. In my mind, Jean Charles should take this one. He's got the striking to hang with Giap but also posesses much more dominat ground skills as well. Charles should look to mix it up and wear down his opponent, earning him the win.

My Prediction: Jean Charles via Unanimous Decision

Jon Jones(7-3, 6-3 BFE) v Ian Boxhorn(6-1, 1-0 BFE)

In our co-main event of the evening, Bloodsport vet, Jon Jones, takes on the stylistically tricky, Ian Boxhorn. After starting his career out with a 5-1 record in QFC, Boxhorn was victorious in his Bloodsport debut, defeating Pipe Juana via lopsided decision. Jones, however, has fought almost his entire career in BFE and is coming off back to back wins both by knockout/TKO. Both men are known for their strong boxing and wrestling skills so this one will come down to who can set the pace and fight smarter. It will be a razor thin fight but Jon Jones should be able to just barley edge out Ian Boxhorne.

My Prediction: Jon Jones via TKO (Round 2)

Jamie Vincent(6-2, 4-1 BFE) v Sergio Moreno(5-1, 1-1 BFE)

Taking things over to the bantamweight division, a pair of high level grapplers face off as Jamie Vincent takes on Sergio Moreno. Moreno is known for his dominant wrestling skills, which he showcased to win a QFC tournament. After his undefeated stint in QFC, Moreno lost his BFE debut but bounced back quickly and won his last fight via first round guillotine submission. His opponent, Jamie Vincent, is also a high level grappler who is currently riding a three-fight winning streak. Vincent posesses some solid wrestling of his own and owns a purple belt in BJJ. This one will be a back and forth battle on the ground but if Moreno can use his superior wrestling to stay out of the submissions of Vincent, he should grind out a decision win.

My Prediction: Sergio Moreno via Unanimous Decision

Sly Guy(7-4, 2-2 BFE) v Seth Jakobs(7-4, 7-4 BFE)

Up next, Bloodsport vet, Seth Jakobs, goes head to head with Muay Thai specialist, Sly Guy. Jakobs has been a bit up and down recently, winning two of his last four. One thing is for sure though, Jakobs posesses some of the scariest knockout power in the BFE bantamweight division, wih five of his seven wins ending by way of strikes. Sly Guy is also known for his world class striking skills which he showcased in his last fight where he defeated Pascal Kraus with a brutal first round head kick knockout. Guy is also known as a fan favorite, picking up five Fight of the Night awards so far over the course of his career. This one will be back and forth but I see Sly Guy being a bit more technical and I think he will eventually find an opening and finish his opponent.

My Prediction: Sly Guy via TKO (Round 2)

Jeremy Henderson(11-9, 4-4 BFE) v Otis Jenkins(5-3, 1-2 BFE)

In our next fight of the evening, Jiu Jitsu ace, Otis Jenkins, squares off against the well rounded, Jeremy Henderson. Henderson has shown his well rounded skill set in his appearances in BFE but he has struggled to find some consistency. With that being said, Henderson has a lot of tools in his arsenal and he will comfortably take his fights anywhere he chooses. Standing across from him is Otis Jenkins, who won his promotional debut via first round submission but is now coming off back to back losses. Jenkins holds a high level grappling pedigree and he constantly looks to make his opponents tap out. Otis Jenkns tends to have the advantage over all of his opponents on the ground but it looks like Henderson can definitely hang with him grappling-wise and he has a big advantage on the feet as well. Jeremy Henderson should be better everywhere this fight goes.

My Prediction: Jeremy Henderson via TKO (Round 2)

Ric Flores(6-4, 2-0 BFE) v Edward Black Scholes(7-5-1, 6-5-1 BFE)

Coming up next, seasoned wrestler, Edward Black Scholes, faces off against Ric Flores, who is undefeated in Bloodsport. Flores has won both of his BFE fights by way of first round stoppage, showcasing his high level submissions and dominant ground and pound skills. Flores' opponent, Scholes, has fought almost his entire career in Bloodsport so we know he has faced nothing short of top guys. Scholes has a reputation as a wrestler who constantly looks to get on top of you and put you in all sorts of trouble with his heavy hands. This fight will most likely take place on the ground where I think Flores' brown belt in BJJ can counter his opponents top game.

My Prediction: Ric Flores via Submission (Round 2)

Mao Zedong(11-3, 0-0 BFE) v Rick Rude(10-4, 2-3 BFE)

Moving things over to the welterweight division, Mao Zedong takes on Rick Rude. Zedong will be making his promotional debut riding a four-fight winning streak, all of which he finished via TKO. His opponent, Rude, has already had several fights in BFE, even picking up a first round TKO win in his last fight. Rude posesses high level grappling skills but he prefers to stand and bang, which I think will cost him the fight. Zedong is the better striker and if Rude comes out too aggressive, it will be a bad night for him.

My Prediction: Mao Zedong via TKO (Round 1)

Tito Santana(5-4, 0-1 BFE) v Pipe Juana(3-4, 2-3 BFE)

Continuing the action on the 170 lbs division, dominant wrestler, Tito Santana, goes head to head with submission specialist, Pipe Juana. Juana has had his ups and downs in Bloodsport but he does posess some solid boxing and Jiu Jitsu skills. Juana should feel pretty comfortable on the feet as well as on the ground. His opponent, Santana, lost his BFE debut but is determined to prove his potential in the big leagues. Santana has some decent stand up skills along with powerful wrestling and a purple belt in BJJ. I think Tito Santana can take Juana down without worrying about his submission skills.

My Prediction: Tito Santana via TKO (Round 1)

Seigi Ozeki(8-3-1, 0-0 BFE) v Scott Bigsby(4-0, 0-0 BFE)

In our next bout of the evening, a pair of promotional newcomers look to make an impact on the BFE featherweight division as knockout specialist, Seigi Ozeki, takes on grappling efficianato, Scott Bigsby. Bigsby is undefeated in his young pro career, picking up first round submission stoppages in his last two fights. With strong wrestling and BJJ skills, Bigsby puts constant pressure on his opponents, wearing them down and beating them up. Ozeki, on the other hand, prefers to keep things standing in order to put his heavy hands to good use. And with seven of his eight wins ending via strikes, he's definitely proven his finishing ability. This is a classic striker versus grappler match up so I think it will all come down to who can simply execute their gameplan first. In this case, I think Ozeki will overwhelm Bigsby on the feet and put him away early.

My Prediction: Seigi Ozeki via Knockout (Round 1)

Evan Better(5-5, 5-4 1NC BFE) v Alan Bird(3-4, 2-4 BFE)

Kicking off our night of action, BFE vets Evan Better and Alan Bird will hook 'em up on what is surely going to be a crowd pleaser. Both men are skilled on the feet and on the ground so this fight could take place anywhere. Both Better and Bird are coming off losses so they will both be hungry to get back in the win column. Bird has quite a bit of tricks up his sleeve but Better is a bit more skilled in the wrestling and boxing departments and I think that will make the difference. Better should be able to mix it up and pick Bird apart.

My Prediction: Evan Better via Unanimous Decision

Before he steps into the cage at BFE: Wednesday Wars 30, I had a chance to sit down with Zhang Chunqiao and ask him a few questions on his upcoming fight against Jimmy Gotti. Here's what he had to say:

Q: What do you think about this rematch with Jimmy Gotti?

A: "I'm very happy about it. I just moved to a brand-new penthouse (props to BFE for all the papers I'm now stacking), and the stadium's only about 10 minutes from where I live."

Q: What do you think went wrong in your first fight with Gotti?

A: "This is a difficult question to answer, to be honest with you, mainly because I personally can't tolerate fighters who make excuses when they lose a fight. However, I'll be completely open with you here: It had nothing to do with my fight camp. I was in peak physical form, and my coaches and I had worked out the perfect gameplan for Gotti (which I will be implementing without issue in our rematch). The issue plaguing me that first fight against Gotti was something personal in nature -- my wife in Detroit (read my bio for a full understanding) had just told me she was leaving me......for my other wife in Osaka. Simply put, my balls felt as if they had immediately shrunk to Chael Sonnen TRT-requiring levels. It's exceedingly difficult to focus on a fight when you've just discovered both your wives are actually lesbians who have left you for each other -- AND who are suing you together for ungodly amounts of alimony."

Q: What do you think of Jimmy Gotti?

A: "Y'know, I'm not one of those fighters that speaks ill of their opponents. I hate the way certain fighters, such as the Diaz brothers, always have something hateful to say about the guy they're fighting. That doesn't embody the true spirit of the martial arts, which is about budo and the qualities of mutual respect that it entails.
As far as Jimmy, he's a solid guy, and quite honestly I don't understand why he seems to get so much hate from the crowd. Jimmy and I actually knew each other back in college -- he wrestled on the Greco-Roman team at UNC-Charlotte, while I was on the Freestyle team. So we were friendly then back in college and even trained together from time-to-time. I think Jimmy is still that same salt-of-the-earth guy he was from years back, even though the media likes to try to spin you into something you're not."

Q: Win or lose, what's next for you in BFE?

A: "I try not to think on future opponents, but focus instead on what areas of my game I can improve. At present, I'm working really hard on my Muay Thai, because that's an area that hasn't come natural to me as a fighter. So after my fight with Jimmy, I'm going to be headed to Phuket as a farang to train old-school with some really tough, piss-and-vinegar guys there. Schedule-permitting at the end of my Thai training camp, I also plain to visit Burma for at least a week to study Lethwei at one of the oldest gyms there in Yangon. I feel that in particular will definitely give me an advantage in my striking come my next few fights, since it's not a style most fighters are familiar with."

Q: Any last words?

A: "I'd simply like to thank BFE for putting on great shows, and especially for putting this rematch together with Jimmy Gotti, so that I can redeem myself for my poor performance last time. Also, if anyone would like to help me offset the costs for my impending divorces (and bigamy suits, which complicates things to no end), they can donate to my fighter ID: #213091. Thanks much!"

You can catch Chunqiao's fight on February 26th at BFE: Wednesday Wars 30.

BFE: Wednesday Wars 30 Preview

Uruhara Hatake(11-4, 4-2 1 NC) v Rex Tyler(26-8, 2-0 BFE) *135 lbs Title

In our main event of the evening, Bloodsport bantamweight champion, Uruhara Hatake, looks to defend his belt against the challenger, Rex Tyler. Tyler has already held belts in numerous other organizations so there is no doubt that he has faced the best of the best at 135 lbs. Known as a grappling specialist, Tyler has finished 22 of his 26 wins by way of tap out. His opponent, Hatake, won the belt in his last fight, submitting Meat Loaf in the process. Hatake has a well rounded skill set but he will have a lot to deal with against Tyler's ground game. If the champ can keep things of the feet, it could be pretty competitive but if Tyler can get this one to the ground, it won't be a good night for Hatake.

My Prediction: Rex Tyler via Submission (Round 2)

Hector Alves (18-14-1, 1-0 BFE) v Eli Armis (19-8-1, 2-0-1 BFE)

In our co-main event of the evening, a pair of submission specialists face off as Hector Alves takes on Eli Armis. Alves recently snapped a three-fight losing streak by picking up an impressive decision win in his last fight. Alves will certainly look to capitalize on this momentum and remain undefeated in Bloodpsort. His opponent, Armis, is coming off back to back wins and has had 17 of his 18 wins come by way of submission. Armis is obviously known for his world class submission skills, especially having a dangerous armbar and kimura, and he will most likely look to make his opponent tap out on the night of the fight. This one will definitely go to the ground almost immediatly where it should be pretty back and forth. Both men will be pretty competetive but I think Armis has the wider array of skills to outwork Alves.

My Prediction: Eli Armis via Submission (Round 3)

Al an(17-8, 1-1 BFE) v Bull Terrier(22-10, 0-0 BFE)

In our next fight of the evening, a pair of knockout specialists square off as Al an goes head to head with Bull Terrier. Al an is coming off an unsuccessful title shot, before hand though, he was riding a seven-fight winning streak. Al an is known as someone who isn't afraid to mix it up, being both dangerous standing up and on the ground. Terrier, on the other hand, is currently riding a three-fight winning streak, all of which came by way of first round knockout/TKO. Terrior has mainly in Sydney in his career so it will be interesting to see how he reacts to the New York fight scene. With a combined 28 knockouts between them, I think someone will be put to sleep in this one. Both men are pretty evenly matched but If Al an can mix up his takedowns with his superior clinch game, he should walk away victorious in this one.

My Prediction: Al an via TKO (Round 2)

Ivan Zhukov(24-7-1, 0-0 BFE) v Ayrton Pena Milani(13-7, 2-0 BFE)

Taking things up to the heavyweight division, striking specialist, Ayrton Pena Milani, squares off against promotional newcomer, Ivan Zhukov. Zhukov is currently riding a twelve-fight winning streak as he makes his Bloodsport debut. Zhukov is also the former NWO champion so he has definitely fought nothing but top competitors. His opponent, Milani, won both of his BFE fights in under a minute each, ending both of them via strikes. With both men having a high finishing ability and proven knockout power, I doubt this one even makes it past the first round. The fight will take place entirely on the feet where i think Milani can capitalize with his heavy hands. This one might be a lock for Knockout of the Night.

My Prediction: Ayrton Pena Milani via Knockout (Round 1)

David Taylor(9-1, 2-0 BFE) v Igor Crazy(13-11-2, 3-2 BFE)

Taking things over to the welterweight division, well rounde,d Igor Crazy, takes on David Taylor, who is undefeated in BFE. Owning a near perfect record, Taylor has won his past six fights, finishing four of them. Taylor is known for his dominant heavy hands and powerful ground and pound skills, even making a few of his opponents tap out due to strikes. Standing across from him in the cage is Crazy, who is on a three-right winning streak. Crazy is known for his never ending cardio skills, and he is never afraid to drag things into deep waters where he will completely dominate his opponents with his superior conditioning. Since Taylor's main strength is his wrestling, he will need to be careful of Crazy's brown belt in BJJ. If he can stay clear of Crazy's submission game, Taylor should get the win here.

My Prediction: David Taylor via TKO (Round 1)

Jimmy Gotti(13-12, 2-1 BFE) v Zhang Chunqiao(9-3, 5-2 BFE)

Up next, we have a rematch in the featherweight division as Jimmy Gotti faces off against Zhang Chunqiao. In their last fight, Gotti won the fight via knockout in just 28 seconds. Both men have some strong striking skills but Gotti managed to catch him early. After interviewing Chunqiao, it seems he is ready to go. He is convinced that this fight will not have the same outcome as before. Chunqiao stated that he wasn't given the chance to showcase his well crafted gameplan but he will look to do so on Wednesday night. Honestly, I believe Chunqiao in this case. He's a fighter who learns from his mistakes and capitalizes on them. Look for Zhang to come in smarter and make this his fight.

Mt Prediction: Zhang Chunqiao via Submission (Round 2)

Simon Phoenix(9-3, 1-1 BFE) v Dante Hicks(11-4, 0-1 BFE)

In our next fight of the evening, knockout specialist, Simon Phoenix, goes head to head against well rounded, Dante Hicks. Hicks lost his Bloodsport debut in his last fight so he will definitely be hungry coming into this bout. His opponent, Phoenix, has been a bit up and down recently, winning three of his last five. Phoenix has also won all of his fights via knockout/TKO so we could possibly see a highlight real finish in this one. This one will probably come down to who can utilize their gameplan. If Hicks can get this fight to the ground, he will have a distinct advantage but if Phoenix can keep things standing, it could be a bad night for his opponent. Personally, I think Phoenix can turn this into a striking war, where he will eventually find an opening and finish Hicks.

My Prediction: Simon Phoenix via TKO (Round 1)

Dan Druff(11-3, 0-0 BFE) v Keith Raw(10-5, 5-2 BFE)

Up next promotional newcomer, Dan Druff takes on BFE vet, Keith Raw. Druff is known for his world class ground game, forcing ten of his eleven wins to submit. His opponent, Raw, is known for being well rounded, ending fights with both his submissions and knockout skills. If Druff can turn this one into a grappling match, he should win this one but if Raw can keep things on the feet, he should be too much for his opponent. It could go either way but I think Raw has what it takes to fight smart and pick Druff apart.

My Prediction: Keith Raw via Unanimous Decision

Bob Parker(7-2, 3-1 BFE) v Colin Burton(15-17-2, 0-1 BFE)

In our next fight, Bob Parker squares off against Colin Burton. Both men are coming off losses in Bloodsport so they will definitely be looking to get back in the win column. Having won most of his fights via decision, Burton is known for having endless conditioning and he isn't afraid to make this an ugly fight. He will probably look to make his opponent completely deteriorate. Parker, however, is known for his solid boxing and wrestling skills so he should be comfortable both on the feet and on the ground. This one could be very close but I think Burton has more tricks up his sleeve to get his hand raised.

My Prediction: Colin Burton via Unanimous Decision

John Future(17-13, 1-1 BFE) v Roman Yamokivic(12-7-1, 0-1 BFE)

Kicking off our card, we have a clash in the lightweight division. Yamokivic is coming off a razor thin split decision loss in his BFE debut so he will without a doubt be looking to get back to his winning ways. His opponent, Future, recently snapped a three-fight losing streak when he picked up a third round TKO win in his last fight. His performance also earned him a Fight of the Night bonus. This one will be extremely close but I think Future will be a bit better wherever this fight goes.

My Prediction: John Future via Unanimous Decision

Before he steps in the cage at KAISER Presents: BS XXXVIII, I had a chance to sit down with middleweight, Fenix Espada and ask him a few questions on his upcoming fight. Due to Espada's busy schedule, he kept his questions short and to the point. Here's what he had to say:

Q: Okay, first things first, how did you get your nickname "Two Face"?

A: "Face was burnt off in an industrial accident when I was a teenager."

Q: You are obviously a high level Muay Thai practitioner but could you go into detail on how the rest of your skills are evolving?

A: "Currently working on my wrestling predominantly."

Q: Before your BFE debut, you faced your first loss. How did that effect your mentality?

A: "Anything is possible in the fight game... you have to fight the best when you're the champ, and he had his day and got the better of it in the end."

Q: What are your thoughts on your opponent, Danny Hendo?

A: "Good all round fighter, skilled at all aspects of fighting, will be a tough fight."

Q: A win here would make you 2-0 in the organization. If you defeat Hendo, what's next for you in BFE?

A: "Just try and keep on improving so I can move up the divisional ladder at 185lb."

You can catch Espada's fight on March 1st at KAISER Presents: BS XXXVIII.

Before he steps in the cage at KAISER Presents: BS XXXVIII, I had a chance to sit down and give a quick interview with heavyweight Perry Roscrow, who is fighting in the main event on the card against Lars Larsen. Here's what he had to say:

Q: Before we discuss your upcoming fight on Saturday, let's talk about the last time we saw you. You recently snapped a three-fight losing streak, picking up a first round armbar win. How did that feel?

A: "You Know, it felt great. I had not been at my best before my fight against Krzysztof and to win, it was a massive relief off my shoulders. At one point, I was actually considering retirment, but you know, I'm only 30. I have a good few years left yet."

Q: After having a very decorated career like yourself, under the circumstances, did your last win feel the most accomplished?

A: "Well, every victory is a great feeling. I have had victories over great fighters in the past, and i do agree it was probably one of my most accomplished victories, especially after the three fight rut I had going."

Q: Your opponent, Lars Larsen, is making his BFE debut against you. Do you think he's ready for a high level organization like Bloodsport?

A: "I assume you mean a hight level opponent? *Laughs* All jokes aside, I don't think he will feel the pressure if I am honest. The man has fought at Aggressive Damage which, currently speaking, is the highest ranked Org in Montreal. Even though he went 0-2, I don't think he will feel any nerves coming into the fight."

Q: A win here will give you back to back wins. If you walk away from this fight victorious, what's next for you in BFE?

A: "It will be great if I could earn back to back wins. I haven't had two wins in a row in nearly a year which on my part is a huge dissapointment, and what's next for Perry Roscrow you ask? Well, that's entirely up to the management. I will take it one fight at a time."

Q: Any last words?

A: "I have been training hard, eating right, and now it's fight time. Good Luck Lars."

You can catch Roscrow in the main event at KAISER Presents: BS XXXVIII on March 1st.

KAISER Presents: BS XXXVIII Preview

Perry Roscrow(25-19, 1-1 BFE) v Lars Larsen(15-6, 0-0 BFE)

In our main event of the evening, submission specialist, Perry Roscrow, squares off against promotional newcomer, Lars Larsen. When we last saw Roscrow, he picked up a first round armbar win. The win also earned Roscrow Submission of the Night and snapped a three-fight losing streak. After interviewing Roscrow, he said that the win was one of the best of his career. His opponent, Lars Larsen, is making his Bloodsport debut coming off a quick stint in Aggressive Damage, which is a top organizations in in Montreal. With 14 of Larsen's 15 wins coming by way of knockout/TKO, he has proven finishing ability and he will definitely be looking to showcase his heavy hands in BFE. Whoever wins this one, I doubt it's going to a decision. Both men are hungry and have high finishing rates. Larsen will probably look to take this one to the clinch and utilize his world class Muay Thai skills, while Roscrow would prefer for this one to go to the ground. It could go either way, but if Roscrow can turn this one into a grappling match, he should take this one.

My Prediction: Perry Roscrow via Submission (Round 2)

Michael Mauti(15-9, 0-0 BFE) v Sid Water(11-2, 0-0 BFE)

In our co-main event of the evening, a pair of middleweight newcomers go head to head as Michael Mauti takes on Sid Water. Water is currently riding a three-fight winning streak, winning the SCFU title in his last fight. Mauti, on the other hand, has won four of his last five, showcasing his world clas Muay Thai skills in each of them. Water is a solid addition to BFE but I think Mauti will be too much for him. Mauti has the defensive grappling skills to keep things on the feet, where he will pick his opponent apart.

My Prediction: Michael Mauti via Unanimous Decision

Rodrigo Montilo(9-2, 1-0 BFE) v Ninnerd Disms(9-3, 2-1 BFE)

Up next, grappling specialist, Rodrigo Montilo, takes on knockout artist, Ninnerd Disms. Having won all of his fights by way of knockout/TKO, Disms has shown he posesses heavy hands and high level boxing skills. Standing across from him in the cage is Montilo, who owns dominant wrestling skills along with a purple belt in BJJ. And with seven of his nine wins ending via tap out, it's hard to argue against his ground skills. This is a classic striker versus grappler match up. Whoever can utilize their gameplan first will walk away victorious. In this case, I think Montilo has the tools to make this his fight.

My Prediction: Rodrigo Montilo via Submission (Round 1)

Danny Hendo(15-10, 1-2 BFE) v Fenix Espada(9-1, 1-0 BFE)

Coming up next, Muay Thai specialist, Fenix Espada, faces off against the well rounded, Danny Hendo. Espada recently won his Bloodsport debut, defeating Roy Nelson via doctor's stoppage due to a cut. Being a seasoned Muay Thai practitioner, Espada is definitely one of the best strikers in the BFE middleweight division. His opponent, Hendo, also has some solid striking along with good wrestling and Jiu Jitsu skills to boost. In this fight, he should be the more well rounded of the two. This is a pretty interesting match up. Hendo should probably look to get this fight to the ground and use his ground skills. If he can't do that, Espada will beat him up in the clinch.

My Prediction: Fenix Espada via Knockout (Round 2)

Teddy Jackson(10-3, 1-0 BFE) v Akisame Koetsuji(5-2, 3-2 BFE)

In our next fight of the evening, world class grappling specialist, Akisame Koetsuji, looks to make it three in a row against the always dangerous, Teddy Jackson. Both men are on some nice win streaks with Koetsuji coming off back to back wins and Jackson winning his last three. Jackson is known for his very technical striking skills which he used to pick up a first round stoppage in his BFE debut the last time we saw him. His opponent, Koetsuji, possesses a legendary red belt in Brazillion Jiu Jitsu, something that is almost unheard of in mixed martial arts. Koetsuji is known for finishing fights quickly as soon as they hit the ground. This one will all depend on where the fight takes place. If it stays on the feet, Jackson will be too technical for his opponent but if it goes to the ground, Koetsuji will get the win with ease. This is a pick 'me fight but I think I'm going with Jackson.

My Prediction: Teddy Jackson via TKO (Round 1)

Mike Alvarez(9-8, 6-5 BFE) v Eliah Marshal(12-6, 0-0 BFE)

Up next, grappling artist, Mike Alvarez squares off against well rounded, Eliah Marshal. Marshal has been a bit up and down recently, winning two of his last three. But possessing high level wrestling and striking skills, he remains a top lightweight in Bloodsport. Across from him in the cage is Alvarez, who is known as a ground fighter at heart. Alvarez is the owner of a brown belt in BJJ along with dominant wrestling skills as well. Even with his strong grappling skills, I don't think Alvarez has enough tools to get his hand raised, though. Marshal has the defensive grappling to keep things on the feet where he will have a big advantage.

My Prediction: Eliah Marshal via TKO (Round 2)

Burt Guth(16-9, 0-2 BFE) v Spider Trenton(18-10, 0-2 BFE)

Taking things over to the featherweight division, Burt Guth and Spider Trenton will battle it out for one of them to get their first win in BFE. With the possibility of the loser being cut from the organization, this is a critical fight for both men. Guth has proven his durability, having never been finished in 25 professional fights. His opponent, Trenton, will look to test that though. With 13 of his 18 wins ending via strikes, there is no doubt that he carries some serious knockout power. With this being a possible over leaves town match, expect both men to come in hungry to stay in the promotion. Trenton is fairly well rounded but Guth is a bit better in every aspect of the game. Expect Guth to be comfortable wherever this fight goes, picking Trenton apart step by step.

My Prediction: Burt Guth via Unanimous Decision

Brutus Nash(8-2, 0-1 BFE) v Donnie Yen(5-2, 0-0 BFE)

Taking things over to the light heavyweight division, submission specialist, Donnie Yen, takes on the well rounded, Brutus Nash. After winning his first eight fights, Nash finds himself on a two-fight skid, including a loss in his Bloodsport debut in his last fight. Nash will be looking to get back in the win column in his second fight in BFE. His opponent, Yen, is making his promotional debut also coming off back to back losses. But with all five of his wins coming by way of submission, Yen has proven Jiu Jitsu abilities, which he will be looking to showcase in his first fight under the Bloodsport banner. Nash has some good all around skills but I think Yen is a bit better overall. Everything Nash throws at him, Yen should have an answer for.

My Prediction: Donnie Yen via Unanimous Decision

Timo Jutila(15-13, 0-0 BFE) v Martez Cortega(9-11, 0-5 BFE)

In our second fight of the evening, well rounded Martez Cortega, goes head to head with promotional newcomer, Timo Jutila. Both men are on some lengthy losing streaks so they will both be hungry for a win. Cortega has been with BFE for quite some time but he has yet to get a win in the organization. Jutila, on the other hand, has bounced around from promotion to promotion, before he finally ended up in BFE. This one should be very back and forth but I think Cortega has enough tricks up his sleeve to get the win.

My Prediction: Mrtez Cortega via Unanimous Decision

Roy Nelson(4-2, 0-1 BFE) v Jared Michael(5-2, 4-2 BFE)

Kicking off our card, seasoned striking expert, Roy Nelson, squares off against Bloodsport veteran, Jared Michael. Michael is coming off a first round knockout win while Nelson lost his BFE debut in his last fight. Michael is known for his decent boxing and wrestling skills but his opponent, Nelson, posesses high level striking abilities. If Michael can't use his wrestling to control the pace of the fight, it will be a long night for him.

My Prediction: Roy Nelson via Unanimous Decision

KAISER Presents: Sun Scraps 12

Bill Clinton(21-7, 3-1 BFE) v Daryl Sharp(16-12, 1-0 BFE)

In our main event of the evening we have a clash in the middleweight division as former champion, Bill Clinton faces off against well rounded, Daryl Sharp. After losing the belt back in December, Clinton bounced back picked up a TKO win over Sergio Melo in his last fight. His opponent, Sharp, win his BFE debut in his last fight, earning an impressive decision win over Hofniel Apollyon. Both men are very well rounded so this fight could take place anywhere. This will be a very back and forth, closely contested fight but I think Clinton will have a few more tricks up his sleeve to pick up the win and mkve one step closer to getting his title back.

My Prediction: Bill Clinton via Unanimous Decision

Matthew Godbolt(11-4, 0-0 BFE) v Scott Fleming(13-11, 0-0 BFE)

In our co-main event of the evening, Matthew Godbolt looks to make it three in a row against knockout specialist, Scott Fleming. Fleming is currently riding a two-fight losing streak but he will be looking to gain some momentum in his Bloodsport debut. With nine of his thirteen wins ending via strikes, it's hard to argue that Fleming doesn't deserve a spot on the BFE roster. Standing across from him the cage is Godbolt, who is coming off back to back wins, both by first round submission. Godbolt has already fought for titles in other organizations, so he will definitely be looking to make and impact in BFE. This fight will be fairly back and forth but I think it's Godbolt's time to shine. He will fight his heart out and earn a hard fought win.

My Prediction: Matthew Godbolt via Unanimous Decision

John Bourne(25-11-1, 0-0 BFE) v Krzysztof Kothciushco(7-10, 2-4 BFE)

Taking things over to the heavyweight division, knockout artist, John Bourne, takes on BFE vet, Krzysztof Kothciushco. Kothciushco has struggled with some consistency issues over the course of his Bloodsport career but with all of his wins being finishes, he always puts on an exciting performance win or lose. His opponent, Bourne, has challenged for titles in numerous other organizations, so it's time to see if his luck will continue in BFE. Kothciushco is good but Boune should be a little bit better wherever this fight goes.

My Prediction: John Boune via TKO (Round 3)

Courtney Upshaw(10-4, 1-0 BFE) v Abraham Safforn(7-2, 1-0 BFE)

In our next fight, Courtney Upshaw and Abraham Saffon will battle it out to see who remains undefeated in Bloodsport. Both men are known for their knockout power and well rounded skills. Upshaw will have a long career in BFE but I think this fight will go in Safforn's favor. Safforn is a little bit better in all aspects of the game and he should be able to control the fight, wherever it goes.

My Prediction: Abraham Safforn via TKO (Round 2)

Kyriakos Seikkeris(11-4, 7-2 BFE) v Ken Tentheros(18-5-1, 0-1 BFE)

Up next, BFE vet, Kyriakos Seikkeris looks to make it four in a row against the well rounded, Ken Tenthermos, who is hoping to get his first win in the organization. Seikkeris has won his past three, all by way of knockout/TKO. He has also ended all of his wins by way of strikes so there is no question that he possesses power in his hands. Tenthermos, on the other hand, has a good amount of both knockout and submission wins under his belt. He came up short in his BFE debut but he will definitely be looking to showcase his well rounded skill set in his second attempt at getting his hand raised under the Bloodsport banner. This should be a good, competitive scrap but I think Seikkeris will eventually weather the storm and find the finish.

My Prediction: Kyriakos Seikkeris via Knockout (Round 2)

Rashad Evans(8-0, 2-0 BFE) v Chris Chandler(11-2, 0-1 BFE)

Continuing the action in the light heavyweight division, undefeated, Rashad Evans, squares off against boxing and wrestling specialist, Chris Chandler. Chndler recently saw an eight-fight winning streak come to a halt when he dropped a decision in his BFE debut. Chandler will b looking to get back n track in his second appearance in the organization. Evans, on the other hand, is undefeated in his professional career, finishing seven of his eight fights. Evans has also won two fights in Bloodsport already, winning both via TKO. Stylistacally, Evans is a bad match up for Chandler. Evans is the more skilled Jiu Jitsu fighter and has superior Muay Thai to counteract Chandler's boxing. Look for Evans to control he pace and pick his opponent apart.

My Prediction: Radhad Evans via TKO (Round 3)

Mario Ferrari(14-12-1, 0-0 BFE) v Wilfrid Laurier(9-4, 0-0 BFE)

Taking things over to the heavyweight division, kickboxing specialist, Mario Ferrari, goes head to head with well rounded, Wilfrid Laurier. Along with mixed martial arts, Ferrari has also competed in professional kickboxing. Ferrari is known for his devastating knockout power and durability, having only been finished a handful of times. Laurier, on the other hand, is currently riding a four-fight winning streak, finishing three of them. Laurier owns wins oth by knockout and by submission, so he is known for being comfortable wherever the fight takes place. Laurier is a solid addition to BFE but he will have his hands full with Ferrari's striking. Unless Laurier can get this fight to the ground, it will be a bad night for him.

My Prediction: Mario Ferrari via Knockout (Round 2)

Mookie Hamfist(12-14, 1-2 BFE) v George Pierre Hennard(4-2, 0-2 BFE)

Up next, a rematch between QFC tournament winner, George Pierre Hennard, faces off against the well rounded, Mookie Hamfist. Both men are coming off disapointing losses so expect Hamfist and Hennard to come out hungry for a victory. After winning a QFC 16 man tournament, Hennard has lost his last two, but possessing high level grappling and a brown belt in BJJ, he is a ough opponent for anyone he faces. His opponent, Hamfist, has been a bit up and down recently, winning two of his last four. Hamfist is known for having high level skills in all aspects of MMA so it's anyone's guess where he might take this fight. Hamfist actually submitted Hennard in their last fight, which was in fact Hennard's first professional loss. Hennard will definitely be hungry for redemption. Hennard has improved since that fight but I don't think it will be enough. Hennard's strongest aspect his his grappling but Hamfist is better there as well. Hamfist should win this in whatever fashion he chooses.

My Prediction: Mookie Hamfist via Submission (Round 2)

Tebato Nakara(7-10-1, 0-1 BFE) v Jack Knife(6-4, 1-2 BFE)

Taking things over to the lightweight division, we have a rematch between Tebato Nakara and Jack Knife. Knife has world class grappling under his belt but he prefers finishing fights with his fists, which he's done so in four of his six wins. His opponent, Nakara came up short in his BFE debut which was in fact, against Jack Knife. This will be a pretty close fight but I think Knife will walk away victorious once again. He has the tools to control the pace of the fight and control his opponent throughout.

My Prediction: Jack Knife via Unanimous Decision

George Formaran(4-2, 2-2 BFE) v Pascal Kraus(4-3, 3-3 BFE)

Kicking off our card, boxing specialist, George Formaran, squares off against, seasoned wrestler, Pascal Kraus. This will be your standard striker versus grappler match up. Both men have had some consistency problems so they desparatly need a win right now. This one will all come down to who can utilize their gameplan effectively. If Kraus can get this one to the ground, he will control his opponent for the Marjorie's of the fight. If Formaran can keep things on the feet, he will either score the knockout or sprawl land brawl his way to a decision win. It could to either way, but I think Krauss as what I takes to make this his fight and dominate Formaran.

My Prediction: Pascal Kraus via Unanimous Decision

KAISER Presents: Wed. Wars 31 Preview

Juan Cabrillo(6-0, 3-0 BFE) v Julio Madrigal(20-8-1, 1-0 BFE). *170 lbs title

In our main event of the evening, undefeated welterweight champion, Juan Cabrillo, looks to defends his belt against the challenger, Julio Madrigal. Last time we saw Madrigal, he picked up a second round TKO win in his Bloodsport debut. Madrigal is known as a solid addition to the BFE welterweight division, being both skilled on the ground and on the feet. He will be facing his toughest test to date though, as he will look to dethrone the champ, Cabrillo. Cabrillo won the belt in his last fight, defeating Koral Creyonte via technical knockout in the fifth round. The victory also earned Cabrillo his first Fight of the Night bonus award. Madrigal should pose an admiral threat to the champ but I don't think he has what it takes to get the win. Cabrillo is a bit more skilled in both the striking and grappling departments, and I think he will weather the storm and finish his opponent.

My Prediction: Juan Cabrillo via TKO (Round 1)

Koral Creyonte(18-10, 2-1 BFE) v Arthur Faulk(14-4, 2-1 BFE)

In our co-main event, former champion, Koral Creyonte, takes on knockout specialist, Arthur Faulk. Creyonte lost the belt in his last fight, eventually losing the back and forth war with Juan Cabrillo via TKO in the last few minutes of the five round fight. Creyonte will be looking to get back on track in this fight and move one step closer to getting his belt back. His opponent, Faulk, is coming off back to back wins, both by way of first round knockout. Ending 11 of his 14 wins via strikes, Faulk possesses some of the heaviest hands in Bloodsport. If this fight stays on the feet, I see Faulk finishing his opponent in brutal fashion but if Creyonte can get this one to the ground, he could use his black belt in BJJ to walk away victorious. It could be close but I think I'm gong with Creyonte, as long as he can execute a good gameplan.

My Prediction: Koral Creyonte via Submission (Round 2)

Scott Thorpe(18-13, 2-0 BFE) v Alistair Overeem(26-17-2 0-0 BFE)

In our next fight of the evening, Scott Thorpe looks to remain undefeated in BFE when he faces off against striking specialist, Alistair Overeem. Along with MMA, Overeem has also competed in professional kickboxing for several years. In fact, this will be his first mixed martial arts bout since 2012 so it will be interesting if the long layoff of the sport will effect Overeem. But, with 22 of his 26 wins ending via knockout/TKO, Overeem will be bringing world class striking to the BFE heavyweight division. Standing across from him in the cage is Thorpe, who is currently riding a three-fight winning streak. Thorpe is known for his dominant top game and ground and pound skills, which he has used to win both of his BFE fights so far. This one will all come down to where the fight takes place. If it stays on the feet, Overeem will have a huge advantage but if it owes to the ground, Thorpe should be able to dominate the fight. In this case, I think Overeem has the skills to make this his fight and out strike Thorpe.

My Prediction: Alistair Overeem via Knockout (Round 1)

Bethany Noel (15-9, 2-0 BFE) v Kelly Leak(10-7, 3-1 BFE)

Taking things over to the light heavyweight division, Bethany Noel looks to make it three in a row against knockout specialist, Kelly Leak. Noel is a former kickboxer, so we know he will be bringing top notch striking into this fight. Leak is no joke on the feet either though, winning eight of his fights by way of knockout/TKO. Whoever walks out on top in this one, someone is getting out to sleep. Leak is tough but Noel is a bit better both in his boxing and Muay Thai skills. He should be able to fight smart and finish the fight as soon as he finds an oppening.

My Prediction: Bethany Noel via Knockout (Round 2)

Hofniel Apollyon(21-11, 0-1 BFE) v Sergio Melo(16-12, 2-2 BFE)

Up next, Muay Thai specialist, Hofniel Apollyon, goes head to head with well rounded, Sergio Melo. After starting off strong in BFE, Melo finds himself on a two fight skid. Melo has a wide array of skills though, and is often comfortable wherever the fight takes place. His opponent, Apollyon, prefers to keep things in the feet, where he has finished 15 of his opponents. This could be a pretty close fight, depending on where it takes place. With that being said, if Melo mixes it up and fights smart, he should do enough to walk away with the win.

My Prediction: Sergio Melo via Unanimous Decision

Dale McCann(5-1, 2-0 BFE) v Barristan Selmy(12-4, 0-1 BFE)

Coming up next, seasoned boxer, Dale McCann looks to make it four in a row against wrestling specialist, Barristan Selmy. With only one blemish on his record, fan favorite Dale McCann has used his solid boxing and defensive grappling skills to outclass his opponents. He will need to bring his A game come Wednesday night when he takes on Selmy, who is known for his strong ground skills. Selmy prefers to turn his fights into wrestling matches, where he almost always has the advantage. The winner of this fight will come down to who can utilize their gameplan better. If McCann can keep things on the feet, he will pick his opponent apart with his superior striking but if Selmy can score takedowns, he will earn a dominant win. McCann has a bright future but stylistically, Selmy is just a bad match up for him.

My Prediction: Barristan Selmy via Unanimous Decision

William Anthony(14-13, 0-4 BFE) v Eirik Rivfader(5-6, 0-2 BFE)

Taking things over to the heavyweight division, William Anthony and Eirik Rivfader will battle it out in hopes of gaining the first win in BFE for one of them. Both men are on losing streaks in Bloodsport so there is a possibility that the loser in this one could be released from the organization. With a lot on the line, expect both men to be hungry for an impressive win. This should be a pretty competitive fight, but I think it will be Rivfader's superior striking that will make the difference. If Anthony can't use his wrestling to control the fight, Rivfader will capitalize on the feet and get a much needed win.

My Prediction: Eirik Rivfader via TKO (Round 1)

Tommy Sanders(4-2, 0-1 BFE) v James Hemingway(8-8, 0-3 BFE)

Up next, knockout specialist, Tommy Sanders, squares off against highly touted finisher, James Hemingway. Both men have come up short in their fights under the Bloodsport banner, so no doubt both men will be looking to win in impressive fashion on Wednesday night. In my opinion, Hemingway should be able to dominate this fight. Sanders' strongest tool is his boxing but I would say Hemingway has the advantage there as well as the ground. Look for Hemingway to come out aggressive and finish his opponent either on the feet or on the ground.

My Prediction: James Hemingway via Submission(Round 1)

Heng Keo(12-7, 0-2 BFE) v Mahti Sonni(21-14, 1-0 BFE)

In our second fight of the evening we have a rematch between, former title challenger, Heng Keo, takes on the well rounded, Mahti Sonni. In their last fight, Sonni submitted Keo via armbar in the first round. The tap out win also gave Sonni Submission of the Night honors. Keo will be looking to get back on track by scoring some revenge against his foe. I think Keo has improved quite a bit since their last fight and a lot of questions will be answered in their second fight. This fight should be pretty back and forth but I think Sonni has the tools to edge out his opponent both on the feet and on the ground.

My Prediction: Mahti Sonni via Unanimous Decision

Apo Abukay(5-5, 0-1 BFE) v Mister Love(6-8-1, 5-4-1 BFE)

Kicking off our card, submission specialist, Apo Abukay, takes on BFE vet, Mister Love. Both men are coming off back to back losses so they will definitely be hungry for a win. Abukay is the better fighter on the ground but Love is more skilled on the feet. This one will all come down to who can execute their gameplan better overall. All in all, I think Love has the skills to keep this one in the feet where he should be able to dominate his opponent.

My Prediction: Mister Love via Unanimous Decision
