John Hetfield was recently spotted walking through LA getting some shopping in with the family, when the paparazi approached him and asked about Pika Chu and Octavio Saades.

"I am very happy that we got Chu in the org, Insanity's 185 division got another killer signed and that's what we want, the best of the best. As for what's brewing between Chu and Saades, I don't know. I heard a few things around the office about what was said and right now I do can't really say what the future for both men holds. Saades got a fight coming up, and Chu is preparing to make his debut soon. It would be a match up that would make sense in terms of the rankings. And not just that, the fans would love it. We'll see how much interrest both men show in the potential match up. I am sure if given the offer, they'd both accept. It's going to be a close match though, that's for sure."

"The Thunderbolt" Pika Chu

14-4-0

*We managed to catch up with Pika Chu on his way home from the gym one day*

R: So Pika Chu, you have been signed to Insanity for just over a week now, how has your training been since then?

PC: It is going really well, we have started some new training in the hope of getting prepared for whatever future opponents can throw at me, and I think I am improving a lot recently to get ready.

R: Now a lot of people were happy at your arrival, but one man in particular isn't a big fan of yours, what are your thoughts on Octavio Saades?

PC: Who is he?

R: Well, he is currently the highest ranked fighter in the 185lbs division apart from you

PC: Never heard of him so I can't really comment on what he has said

R: Well just to inform you, he basically called you out and claimed fighting in LA is a lot harder than fighting in London.

PC: Well it is a good thing I have fought in Sydney, Tokyo, Hilo and Amsterdam as well then.

R: What is your response to his challenge of fighting him after his current booked fight?

PC: I will speak to Mr Hetfield about that before I make any comments thank you very much.

*Our reporter tried asking more questions, but Pika Chu was already walking away at this point so now further details could be known*

Well here we are, following the Insanity of Insanity 80 we are left with the potential for a number 1 contender matchup between that cute and cudly little, who am I kidding I have no clue what to call him other then a sneezing fit gone wrong! Ahhhh Chew I hope your training is going good, I am about to take a little vacation then hit the gym harder then I ever have in my career, right now I have no idea if it is you I will face next or if I will have to sit on the sidelines while you are given a free pass to a title shot. Hetfield has not been in touch to give me an idea of which way he is leaning so for now I will just enjoy some time to myself while I recover from this weekends show but know this, when the call comes I will be ready!!

"Incase the news has not leaked yet.. Pika Chu vs. Octavio Saades is booked! It should be a great fight with the.. 'tension' building between these two. I figure this will be a nice welcome for Pika Chu and I believe that our 185lbs Champion, Nolan Sackett, is keeping his eyes on this fight as well.. The future is bright for Insanity, the sun will shine, this I swear."

Insanity Presents

Insanity 83: Louis vs. Donowitz II

Los Angeles, King Theatre (5,320)
25th April

Insanity is putting on one hell of a show on the 25th, as Gold Medallist in the Tycoon MMA Championships returns to his home org and looks to defend his title against the man he took it from, Abraham Donowitz, in the hotly anticipated trilogy. Also on the card is the 170lbs title fight as champ Jozef Beast looks to best the hard hitting Andy Barclay.

Martin Saint Louis vs. Abraham "Jewsus Christ" Donowitz – 145lbs TITLE FIGHT

With each man having one win over the other, they will both be eager to win the rubber match. Both fighters are as well rounded as it gets, this fight is sure to be fireworks once more.

Louis is coming off of a successful bid for the Gold medal and is now at an all-time high with the amount of fans he can draw. The centre of Louis’ game is his stand up skills. He has shown off power by stopping 9 of his opponents via strikes, but he often looks to score multiple shots before going in for the finish. He won his last fight vs Donowitz by being the fighter who landed more, it was a back and forth standing affair but Louis was able to land more consistently to win. Having shown no real weaknesses in his game so far and has only been beaten via decision.

Since losing to Louis in the only loss so far of his career, Donowitz has rebounded with 2 straight wins one of which was a KOTY contender with a very impressive superman punch. Donowitz has shown a very well rounded game but he often looks to use his wrestling to engage clinches or take fights to the floor where he can tee off with ground and pound or look to sink in a submission. When he beat Louis before, he was able to take the fight to the clinch repeatedly where he was able to work over Louis in a close fight and secure the victory.

Both fights between these two have been spectacular fights with both men bringing the best out of each other and I would expect these two to put on another great fight. At the end of the day, I believe Louis will once again come out victorious, I think his stand up is too much for Donowitz and will just edge him to successfully retain his title.

Prediction: Louis via UD

Jozef "Brawler" Beast vs. Andy "The 5th Beatle" Barclay – 170lbs TITLE FIGHT

The co-main event sees Beast looking to defend his title against Muay Thai specialist and KO machine, Andy Barclay.

Beast has made a name for himself by having a very diverse stand up game, and every strike can hurt his opponents. His punches are very deadly and anyone wanting to grapple with him have to be wary of those knees that have hurt so many opponents, his stand up is constantly showing new wrinkles to his stand up and his kicks are becoming particularly devastating.

Barclay has a number of highlight reel KOs on his record, and a favourite of his is the head kick, having stopped 9 fighters via head kick. His Muay Thai and kickboxing is his favourite tool, often forgetting the option of punches as he batters opponents with kicks. He can be susceptible to the takedown and fighters with a decent ground game.

There is no secret in what each man’s specialities are, both have gotten this far on the back of their striking and expect a good striking battle. Each man can win this, but I feel Beast has the better striking and will overwhelm Barclay.

Prediction: Beast via TKO

Alexander "Angel" Pedan vs. Banyat Pu – 145lbs

This exciting match up has potential to be FOTN as both are extremely well versed strikers and the winner of this fight may very well be the next title challenger.

In Pedan’s 10 fights in his MMA career, and all 10 of them he has won by KO. He is an extremely accurate striker and what he throws, he throws with bad intentions. This is his 2nd fight in Insanity against possibly one of the toughest fighters he has faced, as there have been many questions about the quality of competition he has fought thus far in his career.

Pu may not sport the greatest of records at 9-4 but his Muay Thai and clinch work is amongst the most deadly in the division. With plenty of striking related stoppages, including a number from within the clinch he will be tough for Pedan to deal with. He is a very methodical fighter, who doesn’t try overwhelm opponents with pure aggression, often seeking a more counter striking tactic. But one problem with this is he can be out paced by the more aggressive fighters, often falling behind on the judges’ scorecards.

This is going to be another close fight between two fighters with un-deniable power and it will come down to who can land more consistently. I believe Pu has faced better competition and has come out on top more often than not, and I think he will put the first loss on Pedan’s record.

Prediction: Pu via TKO

Lawrance "Funny Bone" Gerltz vs. "Resting" Castor Rollins – 205lbs

Next up is a fight between two former heavyweights who are looking to use their power to shoot themselves up the rankings.

Gerltz is a very powerful kickboxer, with punishing low kicks and hard punches to the head. He likes to use his strength by clinching up with opponents and bullying them against the cage, where he likes to use all sorts of strikes, including those hard elbows of his. However, he has been stopped by strikes numerous times, so one must wonder whether he can take a hard shot and still keep his senses about him.

Rollins is a proud ex fatty, his words not mine. And it shows as he still fights like a heavyweight, maybe more so now than he did at HW. When he was a heavyweight he preferred to grapple and was very successful in doing so but in his last few fights he has found a home for his power. He still has the skills to fight on the floor and his fans must be hoping he hasn’t gone happy-go-lucky with his striking and neglects to use his grappling.

I feel Rollins has the more complete game and will use it to its fullest against Gerltz, picking up another win on his road to the #1 contender spot.

Prediction: Rollins via KO

Niko Alzate vs. Jeremy "Kaboom!" Perosh – 265lbs

Another Tycoon MMA Championships medallist fighting, as Alzate the Bronze medal winner at heavyweight looks to show everyone why he won the medal and work his way back to the title shot.

Before leaving for the tournament, Alzate has 2 straight wins in Insanity and was well on his way to another title shot. He is part of the new breed of fighters who can finish fights wherever they go. Insanity fans have watched him grow up inside the cage, as he turned out fantastic KOs to earn a title shot. He lost twice to the champion but his power is still there, as well as his ever improving submission game.

Perosh is more of the typical HW fighter, he hits very hard but his chin cannot hold up to other powerful strikers. He is one of the more deadly kickers at heavyweight, with strange flexibility for a man his size but it is his boxing ability that makes him deadly and against Alzate he has to be on point to get the win.

I feel that Alzate should secure this fight, he has the better MMA game, and his power should be enough to secure him the victory.

Prediction: Alzate via KO

UNDERCARD FIGHTS

Johnny Charco vs. Kang "Booze Tooth" Xi Jia – 170lbs

Charco is a very good grappler, with a black belt in BJJ but Jia is undefeated in Insanity for a reason and has shown off a well rounded MMA game that will be enough for him to defeat Charco.

Prediction: Jia via TKO

"Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. Silent Bob – 185lbs

Both men are very good strikers, with power and a tenacity to match. It’s tough to pick a winner here but I feel Bob has more in him and will be able to overcome Savage.

Prediction: Bob via UD

Danny Everette vs. Darren Myles – 155lbs

Everette is a boxer with some good BJJ, but a decent wrestler can make mince meat out of him. Myles may very well be that wrestler, with a preference to take opponents down and work them over with strikes. I think Myles will take this one.

Prediction: Myles via UD

Marky Mark "Fuck Yeah!" Murican vs. Jay "The Great" Gatsby – 155lbs

Murican is a very good grappler who is currently on a 2 fight winning streak, he has been showing off with some decent striking as of late. Gatsby is an active striker, with unnatural power for a lightweight but in his most recent losses he was taken down and beaten up on the ground, and that’s what I see Murican doing.

Prediction: Murican via UD

Boyko Kersikov vs. William "Bunk" Moreland – 155lbs

It’s been a long time since Kersikov last fought, and when he last fought he showed very powerful striking and Muay Thai. He’s been in the gym a long time and we will see if it pays off as he fights solid veteran Moreland. Moreland is the run-of-the-mill boxing fighter. He adds a few kicks here and there but he loves rushing in and landing powerful combos. I think Kersikov will have done his homework, and he will start living up to his family name when he fights Moreland.

Prediction: Kersikov via KO

An event stacked with young talent to keep an eye on for the future, i'm sure many of the fighters on this card will have bright futures.

Until next time,

Michael "The Wolf" Brakeley

Abraham "Jewsus Christ" Donowitz came out sporting a flawless and epic jew frow, his traditional white Jesus shirt, and showing off his sponsors.

He was informed that he was late to the PR event. He took to the mic and the people went silent, listening to their messiah.

"Sooo I guess I'm late to the party. They asked me to talk about my opponent, and I was like, 'talk about who?', and they say 'Martin Saint Louis' and that 'this fight is kind of a like, big deal at Insanity', and I'm like, 'I'm kind of a big deal at Insanity', and they were all like, 'so is your opponent - he's the champ', and I'm like... 'hey man, why would anybody care who he is?' They were just like 'he just won a tournament' and I was like, 'cool, man, cool...'"

Danny Everette

10-5

This reporter must be smoking something special if he thinks some pansy bitch wrestler is going to keep me down, I'm 7-0 at 155 and if I'm on the ground it's because I've decided to allow the fight to take place there. I like it when people consider the odds against me, it'll will make punching my opponents face out his arse that much more satisfying.

Insanity 84: Santiago vs Burns

Hard Knocks - Los Angeles (3,000)

25 Apr 2015

Greetings brave and noble people of MMA tycoon world, I am PugLayf and this is my debut as a writer so I hope that you guys will like my work. Let's get this started! This event will show a lot of young fighters looking to establish their positions, their glory and their fame in the organization and in the MMA world. Every bout here will be special as the fighters looks to make a statement that they are ready to join the elites. This event will surely generate a batch of fighters that will be ready to be a contender.

Fight # 1 : Bors Ysengrin v Bravo Bravo

This fight is between Bors Ysengrin 0-0-0 and Bravo Bravo 0-0-0. Both fighters will make their professional debut today. We might see the start of a legend tonight so keep your eyes open.

Bors Ysengrin is a young french fighter looking to make his professional debut a successful one. He has an intimidating brown belt in BJJ and have some basic wrestling background. We'll see it for ourselves if he would be an amazing submission artist as his belt suggests. Only time will tell if he would be one of the best fighters to ever walk in our world or if he would follow the steps of the unfortunate fighters before him.

Bravo Bravo is a fellow rookie looking to make his professional debut with a bang. He is a good Muay Thai martial artist with some wrestling skills coming along. We will never know if he would be a grappler or a vicious striker until he finally makes his debut. Bravo is still a mystery and his future is still not clearly defined. This fight would be a make or break for him. If he shows good potential he will be given a chance to prove himself more and a chance to become one of the best fighters in the world but if he does not, we'll never know how his life would be.

Fight #2 : DeBo Train v Rupert Whiston

This is a rematch in the Middleweight Division where the two figters: DeBo "Night" Train 2-2-0 and Rupert "The Singapore Slinger" Whiston 5-2-0 will clash for glory and for honor.

DeBo "Night" Train is looking to revenge his most recent lost with this rematch. He got KOed in the first round which might just be a lucky punch when he momentarily lost focus. He is a promising mixed martial artist and an all around fighter. His both wins that came from 1st round KOs proved that he is an exciting fighter and is not afraid to go all out on the opening rounds. With all the hate and rage coming in from DeBo, this rematch might meet its end in the very first round!

Even at this early stage of his career, Rupert "The Singapore Slinger" Whiston is already living to his potential as a knockout artist. 4 of his 5 fights came from a knockout victory and what's scary is; this is not even his final form! He is yet to reach his peak and there are still a lot to add into his arsenal. Having a knockout victory in his last fight, he gave a chance for his opponent to redeem himself as he accepted a rematch. He will once again look for another KO that will establish him closer to the contenders of the Light Heavyweight Division.

Fight # 3 : Charles Grace v Onichi Hong

This is a fight between two young fighters looking to build their legends in the Welterweight Division. This would be a fierce competition as Charles "The Master Debater" Grace 6-4-0 looks to destroy Onichi Hong 2-1-0

Legend says that Charles "The Master Debater" Grace has a chin of a champion. In his entire career, nobody has yet to win a KO from him. His KO power should also not be left unnoticed. He proved to us that he can strike with the best of them, finishing 4 fights through knockdowns in his 6 early career wins. After different managements, Charles has now found comfort under the hands of Gale Hawthorne. He has a bright future ahead of him and nailing a win tonight will help him improve his rankings and will be a step closer to become a true contender.

Onichi Hong is coming to this fight from a close-fight defeat from one of the fighters today; Johnny Shamrock. He will have a chance tonight to regain his honor and prove to the organization that he is a worthy competitor in the Middle Weight Division. The Filipino prodigy started his pro career in MMA at the tender age of 16. Even at a young age, he already showed that he is a well rounded fighter but his striking ability will remain to be his bread and butter . It might be pretty early to tell, but he shows potential in knocking down his opponents and this ability will be tested again in this fight.

Fight # 4 : Ivan Grekov v Trent Punchy

Both Ivan Grekov 4-0-0 and Trent "From" Punchy 8-4-0 will be looking to submit each other in this Light Heavyweight bout.

Ivan Grekov is a promising submission artist. His perfect record of 4 wins and 0 lose is impressive but what makes it more impressive is that 3 of those wins came from submissions. Once he takes you down to the ground, it will be all about him. It is all pain down there. It is his world and all you can do is to literally lay and pray and hope that the round will end. He is still not the most complete fighter but he does have all the time in the world to improve. The fight will surely give him the experiences that he will need to become a better fighter.

Trent "From" Punchy is also a very good submission artist. From his 8 wins, 5 of them came from submissions. He also won the Sub of the Night award twice! The difference Trent has with Ivan is that he is now focusing on learning to fight standing up. He showed the organization and his fans that he, too, can knock people out. With his very first career knock out victory, he won the KO of the night award. He is a fighter that has the potential to be good at this. We will see in the future if he does have the ceiling of a champion.

Fight # 5 : Malik Ramsey v Rico Kliko

This is an exciting Light Heavyweight bout as Malik "Pharaon" Ramsey 7-5-0 and Rico "Cobra" Kliko 7-6-0 looks to improve their ranks.

Malik "Pharaon" Ramsey has the talent and potential to knock everyone out. He already proved his power as he knocks down 4 opponents in his 7 career wins. His power made him an exciting fighter winning the KO of the night and fight of the night awards left and right. He can be considered as a veteran in this org as he already contend for 2 title fights but he lose it both. The title fights that he lost might give him more motivation to work hard and a win here will make him closer to get another chance to fight for a title.

Rico "Cobra" Kliko is now riding a 2 fight losing streak and he will need to win in this event to give him a momentum boost to send his career in the right direction. This Fijian stud is one a rare fighter. He uses his wits and intelligence to win his fights. His every move should not be left unnoticed as he is a brilliant tactician. Using the right angles that he calculated, he can land a punch that will knock you out. If you give him enough time, he will be capable to make moves that will leave you crying for help. Rico "Cobra" Kliko truly is, a dangerous fighter.

Fight # 6 : Liam Lee v Paul Green

This Middleweight bout is a fight between the two promising young guns looking to improve their rankings. Liam Lee 6-1-0 will face Paul "Bang Boom Bang" Green 7-1-0.

Liam Lee is young stud but he is hungry for fame and glory. He might not be a veteran in the sport but he is a well rounded fighter. He showed that he can knock out an opponent and if you give him the opportunity he will gladly take your arm off. What made him scarier is his chin. You can try and give him all the power you have but it will be hard to knock him out. This wonderful chin might give him more confidence to fight you head on like a mad bull. With a win tonight, he will have a chance to establish himself as one of the better young fighters in the org.

Paul "Bang Boom Bang" Green is a great fighter that has been to different managements. Even if his striking abilities are not refined he already shows that he has the power to knock out everyone but this is not his only weapon. This German mixed martial artist has proven to us that he has a heart of a lion. You might hurt him but it will only make him stronger and more willing to knock you out. This is the first time that he will be matched up against his opponent and this first fight might be perfect for him to surprise Liam Lee with his knock out power.

Fight # 7 : Zane Mason v Johnny Shamrock

This is a very exciting fight as both Zane "Rhino" Mason 9-3-0 and Johnny Shamrock 9-5-0 can knock each other out.

Zane "Rhino" Mason might have different managers but one thing has never changed; his excellence in Muay Thai. He is a very dangerous fighter as he once knocked out every fighter he face. As his ranking increases the difficulty of his opponents also increases but it won't stop him trying to knock them dead. Zane Mason's best years are still ahead of him but in the hands of his newest manager, good work ethic and a little bit of luck, he might become a champion sooner. A couple more wins and he shall see himself as one of the title contenders.

Johnny Shamrock has a power to become a great knock out artist. He has a natural given talent in both of his hands and with a swing, he can put someone to sleep. He won the fight of the night award twice, proving that he is an exciting fighter and he is not afraid to put on a show. He also won a KO of the night award saying that his power is no joke. If he win on this event, his ranking will be pushed closer to the top but he should not stop training hard because he still have a lot of work to do to fight with the best fighters in his division.

Fight # 8 : Ricky Blazer v Richard Robinson

"The Tyrannical Teabagger" Ricky Blazer 10-4-0 will keep this Welterweight Division bout interesting as he tries to revenge his loss to Richard Robins 8-7-0 in their previous clash.

"The Tyrannical Teabagger" Ricky Blazer has a knack for knocking out his opponents. With the 10 wins of his career, 9 of it comes from knock outs. He once joined a QFC tournament and he TKOed everyone he face before losing in the finals. His KOs mostly comes from flashy moves which in return, earned him 3 KO of the night award. His exciting style made him popular with the fans around the MMA world. Coming into this fight, he needs another big winning streak to get off of his inconsistent performances in the last 5 matches.

Richard Robinson is one of the best graplers in this organization. A lot of guys that kissed his knees are all saying the same thing 'I do not want another more of that'. He may not be the most well rounded fighter but if he does get a hold on you, you will need to prepare for hell. He once ride on a massive 7 fight winning streak and got to contend for a title fight and it goes all downhill after that. He now desperately needs to win this fight to get his momentum back and to get another chance to contend for a title fight.

Co-Main Event : Lleyton Max v Oh Yeah

This Middleweight bout would be a very interesting fight as Lleyton Max 5-3-0 looks to prove his skills in the cage and "Baby Baby " Oh Yeah 10-4-1 would be looking to turn his career around.

Lleyton Max is a vicious knockout artist. It is recommended that you should not blink if you are watching this guy for he is a walking highlight reel. No chin can withstand the devastating punches he throws. As of right now he is training hard to overcome his weakness which is the ground game. With the right work ethic, it is very likely that he will turn into a juggernaut that destroys everyone in his path. He is now planning to go back to his winning ways after his last fight that costed him his 3 fight winning streak. A win here will boost his momentum going forward and compete with the best of the best.

With 15 fights under his name, "Baby Baby " Oh Yeah already experienced everything that he needs to experience. He had already became a champion at the age of 20 which is insane! He is a well rounded fighter. He can knock you out if you choose to fight standing. He can submit you and make you cry for help if you choose to fight on the ground. His gas tank would not shy away if you want to go to the distance. A couple of wins, including this fight will turn his career around and might get another shot for a title fight.

Main Event : Jose Santiago v Predator Burns

This is the main event of the night and this will be exciting as two of the best grapplers in the organization, Jose "The Rocinha Zombie" Santiago 6-1-1 and "FightBred 2.0" Predator Burns 5-2-0 battle each other.

Jose "The Rocinha Zombie" Santiago is a young dude with an incredible talent. His first competition on a professional level is on TWGC, meaning he is a skilled grappler and a very dangerous ground fighter. His black belt BJJ is not a fluke as 50% of his wins came from submissions. The ground game is usually not popular with the fans, but Santiago changed our prospectives. He already won the Fight of the Night award 3 times in his young career. His elite skill plus his fancy submissions made him popular around the league. A win here will bring him closer for his first title contention.

"FightBred 2.0" Predator Burns is not a man to be underestimated. He already won his first MMA championship title with a surprising win against a proven and tested veteran fighter. His striking skills are slowly improving as he tries to be an elite, well rounded fighter but his ground skills is what makes him scary. He is an elite grappler and his 4 out of 5 wins by submissions are the living proof of it. He is every strikers nightmare. He made tough guys cry and made the brave fighters look like a little girl as they try to run for their lives. A win here will help him stablish his rank and become one of the elites within the organization.

Thank you for reading my preview. I hope that you all have a good fight and goodluck with ya'll!

Regards,

PugLayf

Danny Everette

11-5

I don't give a fuck about this official bullshit, anyone with a pair of eyes knows I won my fight. I beat my opponent in all aspects until he felt the need to start throwing illegal strikes that caught me off guard and forced a bad stoppage.

I won't let you do that again bitch, next time I'll put your punk ass to sleep in the first round.

(OOC: Good late finish, I just really felt the need to capitalize on how that line pretty much ended the fight)

"The Thunderbolt" Pika Chu

14-4-0

Our roving reporter once again found Pika Chu in London, with his fight against Octavio Saades coming up this weekend, we decided to learn more about the debutant in Insanity's 185lbs division

R: Hey Pika Chu, great to catch up with you again, especially after last time. Now, with not much known about you personally, we found out some rumours, and wanted to ask if you would participate in a quickfire question session? I ask you a question, and you respond with a few words, is that okay?

PC: Yes

R: Ah, I see what you did there. Anyway, first question. What happened to Ash Ketchum?

PC: Got sent home

R: Why aren't you with him anymore?

PC: He got grounded

R: But he is a world renowned person? How can he be grounded?

PC: He is still 10 years old

R: Ugh, moving away from that. What's your favourite food?

PC: Rice with meat

R: Who is your favourite musician?

PC: Metallica

R: Why do you like Metallica?

PC: Saw Beck post a lot of their songs somewhere

R: Are you going to win your fight this weekend? If so, how will you do it?

PC: Yes. I will win by KO within 5 rounds.

R: But the fight is 5 rounds long? If you win by KO, of course you win within 5 rounds!

PC: Exactly, I can win whenever I want.

R: Oh, uh, okay. So what are your plans after your fight with Saades? Who would you like to fight next?

PC: Get some food I guess. I haven't been looking past this fight, only a fool would plan for fighting someone other than his current opponent.

R: Do you have any last words?

PC: Pika Pika Mother fucker

*Shortly after this incident, someone threw an object resembling a Poke Ball at Chu's head. Pika Chu promptly got in his car, and ran into the culprits car before walking away from the scene. He returned to his car shortly after to grab some money, and was heard saying "Same Old Shit" as he walked away. Apparently, the police don't care about the crime*
