Here are my 2 riddles, I have remembered from a game I played long ago:

 

The one who makes it, doesnt want it

The one who buys it doesn't need it,

The one who needs it never sees it.

 

This one runs forever

yet he never moves

He doesnt use lungs or voice

Yet you can hear his roaring call.

First one is a coffin, not sure about the second, I was thinking a stream or river but the roaring call stumped me.

I'm a bit of a science nerd so first I agree with the moving waterfall and second here is my riddle:

 

A man in a restaurant asked a waiter for a juice glass, a dinner plate, water, a match, and a lemon wedge. The man poured enough water onto the plate to cover it.
"If you can get the water on the plate into this glass without touching or moving this plate, I will give you $100," the man said. "You can use the match and lemon to do this."
A few minutes later, the waiter walked away with $100 in his pocket. How did the waiter get the water into the glass?

Not sure about this one but lemme try:

 

probably light the match on the plate and put a glass upside down on it to create a vacuum? Not sure if that could work though, and how could you make the match water resistant. Not with the lemon. ...

yeah you are probably close. You put the lemon wedge in the middle of the plate. Place the match standing up in the lemon wedge. Light it and then put the glas over it. The vacuum will suck the water into the glass. The match doesn't have to be waterproof because there might not be enough water to fill the entire glass. Last move if needed would probably be to flip the glass. Hopefully the vacuum is strong enough so the plate doesn't fall off.

yes, very close. that's why the lemon is there - to stick the match in so it does not fall.

The water is already in the glass, so no need to turn it, kronix.

 

if you google for videos of this one you'll see that you don't need a big fire or anything for this to work. pretty cool stuff.

Seeing as "waterfall" is wrong, you could still say "an engine".

if we go technically enough to say that waterfall is wrong then engine also

1 - does not run forever - not even a solar powered engine orbiting the sun because eventually the sun will bye bye

2 - everything is always moving just not on our frame of reference

3 - electric engines are pretty quit though

 

however if we go really really deeply technical then everything is wrong
