This started when I signed a fighter under a manager named Mickey Goldmill, oddly enough he was a brand new manager with only 4 fighters, and shared the same name of the owner of Gotham Fighting in NY. When the fighter didn't accept his fight or sign on, I messaged the Gotham Mickey, and asked if it was his brother or something. He had no clue what I was talking about. Being bored, and searching through profiles I noticed that Mickey's top fighter as well as #1 fighter in his org was Tyrone Biggums, I looked through his record. Again oddly enough he has a win against his own fighter, another 2 against a manager named BJ Goldie....Goldie, Goldmill..... And Goldie only has fighters that lose against Mickeys guy, and lose to another manager, Min Soo, owner of Gotham Fitness in NY. So tell me is this how you do things at Gotham? Hype up your own fighters by making multiple accounts and winning, and even winning against guys on your same account than releasing them? I already thought you had 2 VIPs when I saw Gotham fitness, but I bet its your brother or something. So what is it then, hype up Tyrone, and Forrest Griffith, so they can have a awesome main event? I love how I'm working my ass off here trying to sign legit fighters, and push my guys to win 5 in a row against real opponents, and all I had to do was create 5 accounts and let my guys beat up on the fake guys and then I would have a 5-0 who didn't even have to do anything. Shit Tyrone is a badass he even fought 2 days in a row and won. Lucky he was fighting BJ Goldie's guys. Anyways, I'm sick of the corruption some of you are bringing to this great game, it is already an amazing challenge without people scamming every way possible. So until I have otherwise proof that I'm just paranoid and crazy, I lose all respect for Gotham fighting, and they will be the ONLY org in NY I watch, and offer ridiculously amazing high contracts to all fighters that leave you, and all champs that are done their contracts. Unless if course they are all manufactured by you. Remember I'm the one who busted that Invictus guy right away. sorry if anyone found this inappropriate, I just find it pretty shady to find guys like this. All profiles under question...And look at them yourself, look at the progression of who beat who. And yes he had a different posting name on the forums. As for Mickey, I'm not even trying to be a dick, I just want legit competition in NY, I had unfortunately lost the internet for over a month, and had a very hard time running my org from Shep's house down the street, missed out on a lot of fighter signing and a lot of research I could have been doing, I still manage to pull in the #2 or 3 spot in NY, I come back to see other orgs in NY selling out 2000 seat arenas, and I was just doing 700s and 750s. I even lost money on my first 2 shows that I held in micro arena, so this guy's ethics are indeed going to bother me. I'm not gonna tell anyone how to run their organization, as for who you pin against who, and how you make your guys get to 5-0. But as a fellow NY owner, I will call out your illegitimate tactics, and illegitimate top fighters. And let the managers in NY know where to sign a contract, and who is dedicated to putting on good shows, and making real stars, the real way. Even if Min soo is someone else, and its even wilder that you act like you don't know him at all, yet he has the same name and logo as you(gotham) and its not even like he coincidentally named his gym that , and you are in sponsorship, and your fighters both get free wins from goldie's fighters. His existence really doesn't bother me it just kinda pushes me to think your a bit shady. In real life if a fighter takes a fall, its illegal and called rigging. I wasn't joking when I brought this up. Its one thing if he was just so in love with this game that he wanted to Tycoon all those guys to glory, but to set his org up to win? and while I was going to the library and friends houses desperately trying to run GZ and sign guys, and this guy is ahead of me by a bit because of this? Gives me a bit of satisfaction to know that all my fighters are legit. I even have my father brother and brother in law who all have fighters in my org, and have fought each other, and trust me they all wanted to beat each other for real, and a few times due to no internet for a while, my events had only 9 fights because my bro couldn't get online and accept fights, but I still did well. And they are real people, all confirmed by Mike, and payed for VIPs. I guess that's why we take it seriously, its really the only game any of us play. To be a bit nice to Gotham, we all slipped because the other orgs had recent events and made money. I just spent an assload on 4 upcoming events and 2 new orgs were made, so I'm not at the top for money (for now). And as for incentives, I honestly offer what I think is fair, if its unfair to the recipient, we can negotiate, if he is crazy and wants more money than a new org can afford, Ill let him go. Guest Posted August 9, 2009 Report Share Posted August 9, 2009 this is pretty hilarious haha. i'm not sure why the game simply "flag" fights in which both opponents have signed on using the same IP or something. even though it wouldn't mess up people who bother to extensively change ip's and shit, you could find idiots trying to do the same easily. i mean just make a page which shows all fights like that within a 15 day window or something to admins (are there even any admins lol?). shouldn't take long to program, should help identify cheaters! obviously all of those cases arent cheating, for example, i got my bro to sign up here (though he never bothered making a fighter and all) but if he had then i'm sure we might've fought each other at one point or another (it would've been really fun to beat the hell out of him ). but anyway, just my two cents.
