Look up Demian Maia vs Rory Macdonald. The whole energy system is messed up, it needs to be fixed, you can barely throw a punch when you're completely gassed and it's hard to keep your hands up as well. It's just dumb having fighters shooting in for takedowns because realistically if a fighter shot in for a takedown when he's completely gassed, he'll either 1. Get caught by a guillotine choke 2.
