I try to match fighters against each other as evenly as possible so I was a tad suprised to see that ALL 10 fights ended in the first round. All 10! Not one fight saw the second round. Just... wow! In the main event the former 170lbs king was dethroned when the challenger Dan Kolov imposed his will on Julius Ceasar. In the co-main event we crowned our first heavyweight king after James Ahearn brutally one punch KO'd his opponent. Congrats to the new kings Dan Kolov & James Ahearn! OTN awards were $2000 this time around: - FOTN : Ceasar v Kolov - All fights were over so quick that I just have to give this one to the main event fighters. - KOTN : James Ahearn - Ahearn landed a picture perfect highlight material left hook to the temple of his opponent who was out on his feet and fell face first into the mat. - SOTN : Dan Kolov - Kolov cleaned house and got two OTn awards and the crown (the title belt). Not too shabby.- 22 replies

Taking that into concideration we did well. OTN awards ($1000): - FOTN : Kane v Peruna - Kane got rocked early but the guy does not have quit in him so he went on and won the damn fight. Amazing display of heart here. - KOTN : Vang Poulsen - Poulsen cracked his opponent with a vicious left hook and sealed the deal with a couple more gnp shots. - SOTN : Luis Gonzales - The opponent pulled guard nicely and continued to sweep Mr.Gonzales. What the opponent didn't know was that Gonzales was baiting him all the way and sunk in a very tight guillotine from the bottom which ended the fight. -Dee- 22 replies

The only difference between my poster and yours is that I use different type of picture in the background. From there on out it's all the same. Except of course you have more text in there than I do which apparently is a problem (in my posters).

Well I do. Plus the font art that you created starts to get quite blurry. For example see the "begins" -text there. I fucking hate to point these things out but I do it because you two came after me. What I do with my work - like I said before - I try to keep the proportions, dimensions, and all the GFX very sharp. I might have to start adding more words to these posters to make you guys satisfied... Yeah now this bothers me. You actually think that is a some sort of powerpoint word art whatever the f that is? The posters is 100% made with photoshop just fyi. The text has multiple effects and couple of layers (see it's crisp and sharp) and I try to size it and place it very carefully to compliment the original background. And you can't see/tell any of this? I don't know what to say to that man.

Like I said I do these posters in my free time just for fun. In some cases for a little bit of mmatycoon money which the org owner pays me -after- they've seen and accepted the work. It's just weird as fuck to me that some special snowflake - who admittedly "suck at photososhop" - just waltzes in here and discredits work that he apparently has little knowledge of. Just like that.

English is not my first language so try to bear with me. The original dimensions of that picture have been altered, the image is stretched and it shows. An online program? Mm'kay. The "total war" -text is kinda cool looking I give you that but still nothing you did there is that much different from what I did. I used someone else's art as a background, so did you. I played around with the fonts in the posters, so did you. I still don't understand what's the difference that makes you walk the high road here. I don't know who "Tom Bickle" is, sorry. ps. could you please resize the poster to the mmatycoon poster size (240x290) so we can see what it actually looks like, thanks. Many details tend to disappear when the image is shrinked to the correct size.

Dude, what? The bottom layer you used there and the metal plates are all someone else's images that you've not touched. Also, the dimensions of the bottom layer are completely fucked from the original one. And what do you mean by custom fonts? You created those fonts yourself from the scratch? ..or just downloaded them from dafont.com or some other site like most of us do? I don't understand what you've done here is so much different from what I did with those couple posters. Please lemme know, thanks.

I don't know what the hell I've done to you but okay. You disregarded my reply there just like that. I tried to explain to you why I've done these couple posters the way they are done but you just don't give a fuck and continue to be a cbomb for some unknown reason. Almost all posters here use someone else's images. Im a 100% self taught designer who does this just for fun. I used to have more time for this stuff before when some of my previous work was awarded in the "X of the year categories". I have previously created the fighter skin of the year, the logo of the year and something else too that was awarded that I can't remember. Anyway, those awards were in my previous account's trophy pool. Guess fucking what? It uses images I found with google search too. Now I don't know if you're some hot shot designer yourself but I'd love to know if you can create, well anything. I dunno if you're designer yourself but according to your opinion there I'd guess you're not. Every poster you see here uses "ready images". People just play with them differently. As you probably already figured out I personally don't like to fill my posters with choppy letters and words. What's important to me is that the image and the lettering I use are as crisp and sharp as possible. Im always trying to tweak the original pictures too. And unlike in soo many posters and avatars I see here I really try to focus on keeping the dimensions of the original pictures right so that the image doesn't go in crooked which always looks bad IMO. Besides the Havoc and the Evolution -posters both are "general posters" that the org owner can use over and over again if he/she doesn't have poster for the given fight card.

Only one fight went to distance so the ring side judges didn't have much work to do really. The highlight of the evening was the crowning of the second king: Esteban Chavez! Chavez absolutely dismantled his opponent who fought valiantly but had enough in the fourth when Chavez landed the fight ending uppercut. Congrats to the new 145lbs king!! Of the night bonuses were as follows ($1500 a piece): - FOTN : Chavez vs Roy - Chavez dominated but Roy showed heart and determination. - KOTN : Alphonzo Mirage - Mr.Mirage buried a beast of a right hand straight to the ground specialists jaw and ended the fight just in 18 seconds. Brutal! - SOTN : Teddy Riner - Riner mounted his opponent like a ghost and took the poor guys arm like it was nothing. A quick tap out and a quick pay day. Nice! - Dee -

If you're worried about his weight then I suggest you buy some weight gain supplements and after a week or two he should be at ~170lbs. Personally I don't think that the weight is such big deal in this game. Ofcourse it has an effect but the hiddens, the skills and the tactics come first, easily.

We had an awesome bunch of good fights and the org is finally starting to make me back some of my invested money. Also, last night we crowned out first king! And who is more suiatble to be the ruler of the 170lbs weight division that Julius Ceasar? A HUGE congrats to the man! May the reign be glorious! OTN awards were handed out as follows ($1500): - Fight of the night : Mario Acosta vs Johan Hegg - These guys threw it down hard for full three rounds. At the end the judges declared Acosta to be the winner. - KO of the night : Julius Ceasar - Our new 170 champ KTFO'd his opponent with a beautiful overhand right which connected flush and the opponent was sent astral travelling. Brutal stuff! - SUB of the night : Lance Carr - Carr launched a barrage of sub attempts and finally found the fight ender via Arm Triangle.- 22 replies
