NGF Weekly Talk Show: Episode 1

Hello fight fans and welcome to the first ever episode of the NGF weekly talk show with your host and New Generation Fighters co-owner Aaron ThaiGuy.

This week we’ll be catching up with NGF heavyweight champion Vyacheslav Kalashnikov ahead of his NGF 153 headlining bout with Irving Brown. We’ll also be speaking to Danny Brown after his impressive first-round TKO wins at NGF 152 on Sunday. We’ll also be covering all the latest news that has happened in New Generation Fighters over the past few weeks.

First off we’ll start with talking about NGF 152 which took place on Sunday at Wombley Arena in London. The event had the second best PPV sales, attendance and ticket revenue of any NGF event before. In the nights main event Henrik Torhammer defended his lightweight title for the first time with a knockout over Bjorn Helgi. The win also pushed Torhammer’s winning-streak to five-fights.

Notable wins also came on the night for Danny Brown, Vinnie Vincent, Pablo Escobar and Reiska Pekka Retale.

Now that we’ve covered that, I’d like to welcome current New Generation Fighters heavyweight champion of the world Vyacheslav Kalashnikov to the stage!

Aaron: So Vyacheslav, your coming off the back of a loss. How has this made you feel for this fight?

Kalashnikov: Nothing special really, I've lost before, I'll probably lose again someday. In between it's good to knock out as many men as you can.

Aaron: Is there anything special that you’ve been working on for the Irving Brown fight?

Kalashnikov: I really approach every fight the same way, just get as good as you can before getting in the cage.

Aaron: Is there anything that worries you about the Irving Brown fight?

Kalashnikov: I don't think there is anything that worries me about him, not that I don't think he's a dangerous guy, but I tend to come in well prepared. I've fought so many times at this point in my career that there's not much someone can do that would surprise me. Though we fought before and I destroyed him convincingly, like many others before him, I'll still take the fight with the same seriousness any other fight. Except that Carlos Ferreira guy. That was a joke. Man, that guy had no idea...

Aaron: What can NGF fans expect from you in your fight with Irving Brown?

Kalashnikov: A finish. Brutal, convincing knock out. It's been way too long since my last KO victory. That's unacceptable. I need to finish Brown; I need to knock him out.

Aaron: Finally, is there anything you’d like to say to your fans?

Kalashnikov: Man, never, ever. I mean ever try to drink a certain idiot from Alabama under the table with absinthe. That's about it.

Thank you Kalashnikov for attending the show and I look forward to seeing you defend your title on Friday.

Also in other news, Light-heavyweight Avon Barksdale and featherweight Bob Marley have both signed contracts to fight under the NGF banner. Barksdale was only signed on a one-fight deal whereas Marley was signed on a five-fight deal. Several fighters have also extended their contracts with NGF including Skull Crusher, Danny Brown, Pip Gonzales and more!

It was also announced this week that NGF 155 will take place on 22nd August at the LA Memorial Collossuseum in Los Angeles and will be headlined by a middleweight title fight between Tyler Richards and Danny Brown as #8 middleweight Richards looks to defend his title for the fourth time.

Now with that announcement I’d like to welcome Danny Brown to the stage.

Aaron: Your coming off the back off a great TKO first round win, how did that win feel for you?

Brown: It felt great. That was my third fight with Sykloni and obviously I’ve lost the first two bouts so this was a must win situation for me. I was under a lot of pressure but managed to get the “w”. It’s the only thing that matters.

Aaron: So what does the future hold for Danny Brown?

Brown: Another “Do or Die” fight with Tyler Richards for the title, it will be the third time I have met him.

Aaron: Finally, is there anything you’d like to say to the NGF fans?

Brown: To all the NGF fans: if you are big into violence and... Reading then you should check out my next fight! Just order the PPV and read the shit out of it! Joe Rogan summed it up the best: "mmatycoon fight? That’s a kind of twisted poetry."

Also released in NGF news this week was that three new fighters had been added to the Hall of Fame! The three fighters added are:

- Andrzej Gajewski who holds an NGF record of 17-0 with 16 title fight wins to his name.

-Tolek Banan who holds an NGF record of 10-0 with 8 title fight wins to his name.

- Shavo Odin who holds an NGF record of 10-3 with 4 title fight wins.

And finally, it was announced that me, Aaron ThaiGuy, has become the new co-owner of New Generation Fighters and I am excited and thrilled to become the new co-owner of NGF. NGF is an organisation that has already achieved tremendous things in its time here in MMA Tycoon and I am here to help take the organisation to the next-level. I want to bring stability, excitement and excellence to NGF and I look forward to working with you all.

Thank you for reading this weeks NGF talk show and stay tuned for more episodes coming soon!

NGF Weekly Talk Show: Episode 2

Hello fight fans and welcome to the second episode of the NGF weekly talk show with your host and New Generation Fighters co-owner Aaron ThaiGuy.

This week we’ll be catching up with Ascension welterweight champion ahead of his super fight with our welterweight champion Johnny Fantastic. We’ll also be covering the rest of last week’s news aswell as a short cover on NGF 153 which took place last Friday.

First off we’ll start with talking about NGF 153: Kalashnikov VS Brown which saw Irving Brown become the new NGF heavyweight champion with an impressive third-round TKO win over defending champion Kalashnikov. Hans Thor picked up a notable win in the co-main event with a superb superman punch knockout win over Charles Le-Fontier in the first-round. NGF 153 took place on Friday 8th at Wombley Arena with 92416 people turning out to see the MMA action. The event was also listed on Pay-Per-View.

Now that we’ve covered that, I’d like to welcome Gary Player to the stage!

Aaron: First of all welcome to NGF Gary, how do you feel stepping into a champion VS champion superfight?

Player: This champion vs champion fight is a huge thing. It’s not just any superfight, but a fight of champions of two World Class orgs between Ascension and NGF. It’s a very big deal. It’s nice to be representing my current org; I don’t want to let them down, especially after I just got the belt. It’s not my first champion VS champion fight though, I remember when UPG got absorbed by Ascension and I was the UPG middleweight champion. The belts had to be unified, so who did I have to fight? One of the greatest middleweight fighters ever in Matt Murdock who was the Ascension middleweight champion and still is. I’m not ashamed to admit that he dominated me that fight. I don’t intend to lose like that again in this champion vs champion fight.

Aaron: What can the NGF fans expect to see from you?

Player: To those in NGF who have never seen me before, they will find out I’m the total package. I can win standing, or even on the ground. I’m a well-rounded guy who aims to finish his opponents, sadly the level of competition I’ve faced – some really tough guys who are just too hard to finish. I want to bring an exciting performance even if it goes to a decision.

Aaron: Any special fans for Fantastic?

Player: Special plans? Obviously I won’t go into too much detail, I’m sure Fantastic is prepared. I’ll try to avoid throwing too many inside low kicks so I don’t break his “thing” if you know what I’m saying haha. I don’t wish ill on any man, as far as I’m concerned I’m not going to try and break another dude’s penis. Break one of his limbs, KO him, and choke him out, whatever, Just not kicking his dick.

Aaron: Anything you’d like to say to Fantastic ahead of your much anticipated bout with him?

Player: It’s a big opportunity fighting you. From watching tape on you it’s obvious you’re a very tough guy Fantastic with the power to finish. I’ve never been finished though. I have to establish myself as one of the world’s top welterweights after all. I’m sure it will be a great fight, though I’m sure one, if not both, of us will be going to the hospital afterwards.

Aaron: Finally, is there anything you’d like to say to the thousands that will be turning up to the arena and tuning in on pay-per-view to see your NGF 154 main event fight?

Player: I'm no stranger to fighting in front of thousands after all. I've fought in Ascension for quite awhile now. LA Memorial Colosseum practically sells out when ASC puts up a card there and seeing over 90,000 people is always amazing. This is no different as London's Wombley Arena fills to up this many as well. That being said, I'm not gonna let the pressure get to me. I will thrive upon it like I've always done and their energy will help me get the win. I want to thank all my fans and supporters, I'm gonna get this win for them and prove that I'm one of the best Welterweights in the world.

Thank you Gary Player for attending the show and I look forward to seeing your super fight on Friday.

Also in other news, heavyweight Hojo Yoijimbo signed a three-fight deal, welterweight Eddy Maiden signed a five-fight deal, super-heavyweight Piru Parka signed a three-fight deal, middleweight Josh Matson signed a five-fight deal and welterweight Avon Barksdale signed a five-fight contract to fight under the NGF banner.

It was also announced this week that NGF 157 will take place on 5th September in London at the Wombley Arena. No fights have yet to have been announced for the card.

The NGF 155 card is now almost fully confirmed with just one fight left to announce. The card will take place at the LA Memorial Colossuseum in Los Angeles on August 22 which is next Friday. The event will feature a main event middleweight title fight between champion Tyler Richards and challenger Danny Brown. The co-main event will see featherweight contenders Manny Mannetosen and Reiska Pekka Retale go head-to-head as both fighters take steps closer towards the title.

Finally, I would just like to let all you free agent fighters know that we here at New Generation Fighters are actively seeking to sign fighters! So if you want to be part of the worlds #5 ranked fight organisation then please let us know so we can work towards signing you up!

Thank you all for listening in and I hope you all have a great week and look forward to seeing you all next week.

Your host and NGF co-owner,

Aaron ThaiGuy

STATEMENT FROM ROGELIO COTTONFLOSS

Although I should perhaps wait until the actual fight, on behalf of NGF we would like to not only thank Gary Player for accepting his fight against Fantastic, but also for being one who will not "try and break another dude's penis".

I find it fantastic that Player will not try to damage the "prominent hose" of our former porn star who goes by the nickname of "The Raging Cockstorm"

NGF Weekly Talk Show: Episode 3

Hello fight fans and welcome to the third episode of the NGF weekly talk show with your host and New Generation Fighters co-owner Aaron ThaiGuy.

This week we’ll be catching up with our middleweight champion Tyler Richards ahead of his title defence fight against Danny Brown at NGF 155 and Vladislav Munchkin after claiming the super-heavyweight title at NGF 154. We’ll also be covering the rest of last week’s news as well as a short cover on NGF 154, a record breaking event for New Generation Fighters.

First off we’ll start with talking about NGF 154: Player VS Fantastic which was headlined by a super-fight between Ascension welterweight champion Gary Player and New Generation Fighters champion Johnny Fantastic. It was Gary Player who came out on top in the main event with a third round head kick knockout. In the co-main event Vladsilav Munchkin knocked out Sami Hyypia to be crowned the New Generation Fighters super-heavyweight champion. The night also broke NGF records with the highest ticket revenue an NGF event has ever seen with just short of 10,000 tickets being sold, the most Pay-Per-View sales with 253,489 people tuning in world-wide to watch the MMA action go down and it is also set the record with the biggest event rating NGF has ever seen with a rating of 959.30. NGF 154 was a huge success and is an event that sets the standards for all future New Generation Fighters events.

Now that we’ve covered that, I’d like to welcome Tyler Richards to the stage!

Aaron: How are you feeling ahead of your fight with Danny Brown?

Richards: I'm feeling very good right now. It's been a good while since my last fight but I work hard all the time so I know I'm in shape.

Aaron: This will be the second time you meet Brown, in the first encounter you picked up a unanimous decision win, has this given you more confidence going into the fight?

Richards: Actually, the first time we met I submitted him with a fifth round triangle choke after dominating most of the fight until that. But last time it was hell of a lot closer fight. I really put it on him for the first three rounds but the guy hung in there and almost kisked my ass in the fouth and I think he even won the last round too. So, he made great strides between those fights so I have to assume he's even tougher this time around. Does that hinder my confidence? No. I just have to be ready for that.

Aaron: You're unbeaten in your last five-fights, do you think anyone can stop the run you’re on?

Richards: I always think it's the next guy in I fight. I have to, that's what makes me get better each time I step in there. Way back when I fought Rory Lyons, I was running through everybody. I went in there cocky knowing I'm just going to destroy the guy, and got out humbled after getting my ass handed to myself. At this level everybody is as dangerous as the other. I just have to work harder than anyone.

Aaron: What would it mean to you to defend your NGF middleweight title for the fourth time?

Richards: It's nice to hold the title for a top 5 org in the world. I've fought most of my career for titles in various organizations, but none has been as big NGF is right now. So yeah, it's great to be a champion and I intend to keep it that way.

Aaron: Finally, anything you'd like to say to your fans?

Richards: Get ready to see a great fight. I'm sure Danny will be going for the kill and I'll do the same. Hope to see you guy's at the fight.

Thank you Tyler Richards for attending the show and good luck in your fight!

Also in other news, lightweight William Dos Santos signed a three-fight deal, heavyweight Muay Thai signed a five-fight deal, welterweight Wade Wilson signed a two-fight deal, featherweight Mitsuyo Maeda signed a two-fight deal, featherweight Reino Tolonen signed a five-fight deal, middleweight Hammer Longbird signed a five-fight deal, lightweight Richard Martinez signed a five-fight deal, former super-heavyweight champion Sami Hyypia re-signed a new two-fight contract and several other NGF fighters re-signed to stay fighting under the ever growing New Generation Fighters banner.

It was also announced this week that NGF 158 will take place on 12th September in London at the Wombley Arena. No fights have yet to have been announced for the card.

Now, I would like to welcome New Generation Fighters newly crowned super-heavyweight champion to the stage!

Aaron: How do you feel to have been crowned the new NGF super heavyweight champion?

Munchkin: It feels really good. Good to know that hard work pays off and that I can compete with some of the best this org has to offer. Just happy Rogelio had enough faith in me to allow me to move up and compete for the belt.

Aaron: You are on a six fight winning streak, how do you feel at the moment?

Munchkin: I feel fine. Honestly I try not to think about it too much. It's nice but I can't get complacent. Have to keep a level head and continue to work my hardest.

Aaron: Since changing managers you have yet to have lost, do you feel that the change in manager has helped you get to where you are today?

Munchkin: Well I think going through a change can be good sometimes. It's nice to get a different perspective and get different advice on what I need to do to take my game to another level. I think it's helped in that it's allowed me to refocus.

Aaron: Now you’re the NGF champion, what are your next goals?

Munchkin: Next I'm hoping to maybe get a chance to move back to Heavyweight and maybe challenge Brown. But whatever the guys at NGF have planned for me is fine by me. I'm just going to work on getting better. There's always room for improvement.

Aaron: Anything you'd like to say to your fans?

Munchkin: To my fans I just want to thank them for sticking by me through all the ups and downs. I really appreciate all the support and hope I don't let you guys down.

The NGF 155 card is set to take place on Friday and will feature a main event middleweight title fight between champion Tyler Richards and challenger Danny Brown. The co-main event will see featherweight contenders Manny Mannetosen and Reiska Pekka Retale go head-to-head as both fighters take steps closer towards the title. It will also mark New Generation Fighters first ever event in Los Angeles with the event taking place at the LA Memorial Colossuseum. Tickets are on sale and the event will be available on Pay-Per-View as always.

Finally, I would just like to let all you free agent fighters know that we here at New Generation Fighters are actively seeking to sign fighters! So if you want to be part of the worlds #4 ranked fight organisation then please let us know so we can work towards signing you up!

Thank you all for listening in and I hope you all have a great week and look forward to seeing you all next week.

NGF Weekly Talk Show: Episode 6

Hello fight fans and welcome to the fixth episode of the NGF weekly talk show with your host and New Generation Fighters co-owner Aaron ThaiGuy.

This week we will be covering all the news from NGF 157 aswell as talking about all the news that has took place this week in New Generation Fighters and a special guest appearance from lightweight Bjorn Helgi.

As always, we’ll start talking about our last event, which was NGF 157: Kalashnikov VS Hyypia which took place at the Wombley Arena in London. 92,756 people turned out in attendance to watch NGF 157 and 180,452 tuned in on Pay-Per-View. The main event of the night saw a super heavyweight battle between Kalashnikov and Hyypia and it was Kalashnikov who came out on top with a second-round knockout that earned him the KO of the night award. The co-main event saw lightweight contenders Bjorn Helgi and William Dos Santos go head-to-head with Helgi coming out on top with a second round TKO victory. Submission of the night went to Toshiro Montero for his first-round RNC over Martin Louis and fight of the night went to Linkin Portier and Mikhail Rakhmanov, a fight in which Linkin Portier walked away with a unanimous decision after three hard fought, entertaining rounds.

And following on from NGF 157, we will now welcome Bjorn Helgi to the stage, a fighter coming off the back of a co-main event win at the event.

Aaron: You picked up an impressive TKO win over William Dos Santos at NGF 157 and got back on winning ways, how did this feel for you?

Helgi: It felt great, but it went as expected. I knew i f I'd get him in the clinch, he would go down. He repeatedly walked into my trap and clinched me. These lanky guys don't pack on too much muscle and in his case, not too much of a brain either.
Aaron: What have you got planned for the rest of your career?

Helgi: That all depends on the outcome of my next few fights. My IQ isn't getting any higher with each blow taken and I really can't take many more KO's without suffering permanent damage, according to my latest MRi brainscan..
Aaron: Prior to beating William Dos Santos, you fought Torhammer for the title but came up short, would you love another chance to try and get that title around your waist?

Helgi: Of course I want another crack at Torhammer. Different strategy this time. I might come up short again, but it's now or never to go for that title.
Aaron: Who is the fighter in NGF that you’re most wanting to jump into the cage with at the moment?

Helgi: Torhammer obviously. Shit's going down bro!!
Aaron: Anything you'd like to say to the NGF fans?

Helgi: I love the NGF Fans, they are second to none. Oh man, The NOISE when I enter the cage always blows me away. So, to the fans: Thanks for all the support through my NGF career and keep blowing the roof of the place. You guys are awesome.

This week Vyacheslav Kalashnikov re-signed with NGF on a one-fight contract following his main event win at NGF 157, #10 ranked lightweight Zophiel Furfur signed on a five-fight contract, heavyweight Irving Brown re-signed on a three-fight contract, light heavyweight Hironobu Uematsu signed on a three-fight contract, super heavyweight Sam Winchester re-signed on a three-fight contract and lightweight Willie Bader signed a five-fight contract. Plus several other contract re-negotiation and new contract signings were made.

It was also announced this week that NGF 161 will take place 01/10 at the Wombley Arena in London. One fight has been announced for the card so far and it will see lightweights Dean Winchester and Vinnie Vincent go head-to-head.

Once again, thank you all for listening in and I hope you all have a great week and look forward to seeing you all next week.

Your host and NGF co-owner,

Aaron ThaiGuy
