iLuke92
So I had a fight with my 25yo last night he has wonderful MT and useless boxing and useless punches yet he landed just over 30 punches and barely missed many, is it possible that mt is the better primary for punches? Guest
Your agility might be high, his agility might be low. Punches are best with high boxing and mt
iLuke92
My fighter had only feeble agility my opponent was 25yo too
listerman
Your opponent had useless boxing/MT, meaning he most likely had useless punches/strikeD, so it explains why you landed. There's a lot of variables.
iLuke92
If he had a granite chin but no strike D would it still take a while for him to be knocked out? It would just mean he can take them but they will more or less all land?
listerman
Useless standup, weak physicals + no defense skills, Granite chin will not help any fighter in those circumstances. Â If you look at this fight: http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=596664 My Granite chin got KOed despite having striking defense and good standup. Like stated earlier, it's a matter of variables. Fighter's power + damage slider can make a big difference.
skull
Muay thai is a not better primary for punches at all BUT it is the better striking primary to begin a new fighter with IMO. Muay Thai is pretty decent for avoiding punches and more so with kicks while boxing is only goin to stop punches
iLuke92
Yeah I heard before Muay Thai is better to start with
DeadpoolPlays
Seems logical, but if you go deeper into tko/ko-ing people, I think boxing should be your choice(together with muay-thai)
philofthefuture
I've read that Muay Thai is best to start with since boxing is easy to train. Boxing - Punches, Strike D, Clinchwork Muay Thai- Punches, Kicks, Elbows, Knees, Clinchwork, Strike D
