Guest
I agree, this should be under "manager achievements". I should also be there for realizing that Kinte's morale is always shit. Hahaha. I agree, but as #1 manager with a record as yours there are probably better reasons to put you on there.

No, that record is mostly luck. I feel like I achieved a lot more in this thread.
Setsuna
Austin's going to smoke him, 1st round I think. I'd easily wager $10,000 on Austin. I know the bookmakers can't take these kind of bets yet, but any other org owners up to the challenge? Shawn maybe?

mgp5013
You would bet that kind of money against the 8-0 #4 p4p guy? Setsuna is smart. He knows Austin has the boxing/power to KO Kinte, the wrestling to keep it standing, and enough BJJ acumen to avoid anything Kinte throws at him on the ground. Couple these three factors in with the facts that Setsuna runs Choke, the org in which Steve made his name (so he knows better than most of what Steve is capable of), and the fact that Kinte's morale is shit and you have a very solid bet. Jerry threw the best fighters he had at Steve and Steve dominated all of them. It pained me to have Steve leave Choke because Jerry treated Steve very well. Despite having a very tough division, Steve needed a challenge and I wanted Kunte. I told Shawn the only way I would sign with him was if Steve's first fight was against Kunte. I have been scouting him since he beat Marcos for the belt and have been preparing Steve for him since then. I wouldn't bet against Steve. Kunte's morale will finally catch up with him. No matter who he beats, his morale stays low. He can only dodge so many bullets. This time, the bullet will hit him on the chin and put his lights out. mgp5013
Woo hoo that was a beating. Austin didn't even get hit, he just pounded Kinte til the ref stopped it a little over a minute in. So that now make 2 top 5 P4P fighters I manage. I probably should go VIP soon and create a dynasty. Just wish I had the $$$.

Guest
Steve Austin, however. Woot, Woot. A submission guy can't win if he can't take it to the ground.
PSUMike
Woot, Woot. A submission guy can't win if he can't take it to the ground. Especially when his opponent has that significant of a stand up advantage.

BIG.POPPY.COCK
Based on the fight summary my fighter took an eye poke then was TKO'd I asked shawn if my fighter could have a rematch due to the unfortunate circumstances. He proceeded to ignore me and set my fighter up against someone that he subbed in about a minute in their first fight. The least he could have done was acknowledged my email. If the manager of Austin is in this thread I would greatly appreciate if you would ask Shawn to set up a rematch. If Kinte loses, then its clear Austin is the better fighter. However, based on the circumstances of the fight's play-by-play its hard to say who the better fighter is.
Guest
I'm pretty sure there is no such thing as an eye poke in the game, it's just to spice up the commentary.

There are other fighters that deserve the title shot more than you, and it will be better for the org to give them shots before they give your subspammer his rematch. If you get a win in there and assuming Austin gets by Hazem El Magic, I'd have no objections to a rematch. I told Shawn the only way I would leave Choke is if Steve got Kunte in his first fight. But as other posters said, the 'eyepoke' is more of a fun thing like saying a fighter got kicked in the junk. In the end, it had no real bearing on the outcome of the fight. When my other fighter, Joseph Jones, beat Fidel Puno, the same line was in the commentary. So I don't care, we can do it again.
