Great preview as always Boomstick! Just love it when you mention George Palmer's brother to make it more interesting.

Thanks man! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I can't discount "The Crowntaker." When they're ready to retire you should make them fight each other for their final fight :) I hope the B.S. I made up about the "old doorman" was okay. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out why you nicknamed him that.

I won't let them fight eachother because I don't want to see either of them loses. I think your explanation of "Old Doorman" is great! Actually the nickname means hes my first fighter and getting old but he will always be in my roster, like a doorman for my house.

Legacy! 13

The Montreal Sports Complex

Welcome once again all LEGACY! fight fans, we are here to take an inside look at LEGACY! 13 which will be the first event on this day of 2 and we are hopeful the combination of these two will see us solidify ourselves in the top 20 in the rankings. Unfortunately this week Russ has been hit hard with rl work so Louie is here to put together a quick event for both shows, the Previews for both L13 & L14 will be shorter than normal but we hope to return next week to regular programming!! Both of today's shows are on the heels of LEGACY! 12 which resulted in the company's 2nd highest event rating and attendance to take in a LEGACY! event. The LEGACY! ME sees a Superfight Showdown between rising LEGACY! LHW Champ Patrick Brody taking on Imperial WW Champ Chief Tappenahomma in a catchweight battle taking place in the 185 lbs division. It is followed up by a rematch of another 2 former Imperial fighters as Arlington Beech does battle with Hiroshimo Sakamoto to settle the score that was started back in July at Imperial 38.

Main Event - 185 lbs Patrick Brody vs Chief Tappenahomma **Superfight**

Our main event sees a 185 pound Superfight between LEGACY! LHW Champion Patrick Brody taking on Imperial WW Champion Chief Tappenahomma . Brody comes into this one riding a 6 fight win streak and has gone undefeated during his time in LEGACY! and is looking to up his game against Imperial great Tappenohomma. Meanwhile the Imperial WW Champ has not lost in his past 8 matches with a draw against Justin Cider being his only blemish. Brody brings a very well rounded game plan to the cage and enjoys exposing his opponents weaknesses as he can bang with you if needed, take you down and make you tap like you are his little bitch or grind out the W when the option presents itself. On the other hand Tappenahomma prefers to bang, whether that be at distance or within the clinch and adds an element of vicious elbows to his arsenal that makes most opponents wish they hadn't stepped into the cage. Brody enjoys a slight height advantage in this one and is the bigger man, the question is will he be able to use that to his advantage or will the perceived speed advantage enjoyed by Chief nulify Brody’s attack. This matchup has all the implications of a fight for the ages as well as the bragging rights for the winner leading into the soon to be organised LEGACY! vs Imperial battle. Its too damn close to call other then FOTN is a sure possible outcome.

Co-Main Event - 155 lbs Arlington Beech vs Hiroshimo Sakamoto

Tonight's Co main event sets up between a pair of former Imperial fighters who are looking to find closure following their battle to a draw back at Imperial 38. That matchup saw Beech clearly winning round 2 and Sakamoto taking round 3 however the judges decided round 1 was a coin flip awarding both fighters 10 points on 2 of the score cards which is what has led us back to this point in what could very well be another FOTN candidate. On paper Beech has the slight edge standing while Hiro enjoys a slight edge on the ground, and todays winner will be decided by the fighter who is willing and able to defend against their perceived disadvantage and exploit their strengths. Beech will be enjoying a slight height edge while even though he also enjoys an edge in Muay Thai both combatants possess the ability to unleash crazy lethal head kicks. Sakamoto has been the slightly more active fighter following their recent draw as he has since seen action on 4 occasions while facing him from the other side of the cage Beech has only stepped into action twice, prefering to enjoy some training time which could very well be the difference in todays match. Once again this one is far too close to call so we wont even make an effort in calling a winner.

155 lbs Timothy Poggle vs Mason Graham

Our third fight of the night is a Lightweight showdown seeing Timothy Pggle taking on Mason Graham. Both fighters have enjoyed nothing but success within the LEGACY! cage as Poggle is 2-0 and Graham won his only appearance. Poggle comes in enjoying a definitive advantage in Muay Thai and BJJ while Graham may possess a slight advantage in Boxing however his successes in that department earlier in his career and will need to return to that style of gameplan today. Poggle on the other hand has shown he has the ability to rise to the occasion no matter where the fight takes place. Both fighters are basically the same height with Poggle being the slightly heavier man but the key in this one will be which fighters chin stands up as neither man as had their lights turned off while both have the power to do just that, one will likely look to come out and impose their will on the other and come out on top. Even though Poggle has the advantage on the ground I have a feeling he wants a shot at Grahams chin because as we all know, the KO win is so much more exciting for the fans to witness!

Well folks thats all the time we have for the this first show but here is a quick listing of our other fights on this action packed event

155 lbs Troll ShitBrickHouse v Dominic Fortune

265 lbs Merkan Killmanz v Robbie Luatua

185 lbs Sterling Archer v Artem Irhin

205 lbs Clint Eastwood v Johny Persecutioned

155 lbs Tojii Gambin v John Doe

185 lbs Marick Tyne v Split Brown

185 lbs Omar Dijkstra v Louie Litt

Legacy! 14

The Expo

Now that we have taken a look at LEGACY! 13 its time to take a quick peek at LEGACY! 14 taking place simultaneously across town at the Expo! With LEGACY! 13 being headlined by a couple Superfights here on L!14 we see 2 titles on the line as Kelvin Parker looks to defend his Welterweight title for the first time against Better Dead and Jomlong Kiapoity faces Devin Jaqquard to crown the first ever LEGACY! Bantamweight Champion. With L!13 looking to potentially be one of this companies all time events L!14 wants to piggyback off those results and secure LEGACY!’s spot in the top 20, maybe even top 15 by the end of todays proceedings.

Main Event - 135 lbs Kelvin Parker vs Better Dead **170lbs Title Fight**

Our main event sees the LEGACY! 170 lbs title on the line as Kelvin Parker looks to defend against striker Better Dead. Parker comes into this one giving away some height and weight and we wonder if those 2 factors could cause him some issues going up against the bigger man. But in an effort to counteract that Dead is coming in @ well under 100% in energy and I am sure Parker will look to exploit that advantage. Dead has the distinct advantage at range while on the feet however Parker has yet to be KO’d in his career and his huge BJJ advantage is definately going to be a huge factor in the outcome of this one. Some may wonder if Dead has been down on his chances in the lead up to this one as his energy levels tell a tale of a fighter not getting the much needed sleep to recover following his training sessions or his morale could say he does not have the confidence to pull this one off. But this is MMA and anything can happen so if Parker goes in looking past Better Dead due to the state of his appearances it could be a very short night for the current Champion.

Co-Main Event - 135 lbs Jomlong Kiapoity vs Devin Jaqquard **135lbs Title Fight**

Tonight's Co main event sets up between a pair of fighters looking to become the first Bantamweight Champion in LEGACY! Kiapoity comes in as the much smaller of the 2 little men giving away 14 cm and almost a full 10 pounds to Jaqquard. Jomlong is a straight shooter, he wants to get you down and wants to take one of your limbs as his 12 career submission wins showcase while Jaqquard prefers to go with whatever happens to be working on that evening. Based on skills alone Jaqquard not only towers over his opponent in stature he also does so in 3 of the 4 Primaries in the MMA game only trailing in BJJ and we wonder if the slight suspect chin Kiapoity has shown previously could see an end to his title desires early? If this one goes to the ground it could be tap or snap for Jaqquard but if Devin can keep this one standing his superior striking game could make for a very painful evening for Lomlong. Based on skills alone this one looks to favor the LEGACY! newcomer but we dont see Kiapoity going out without a fight!

185 lbs Silent Bob vs Brandon Marshall

Our third fight of the event is a Middleweight showdown seeing Silent Bob taking on Brandon Marshall in a short notice fight put together last minute. There is a rumour floating around backstage saying that Marshall was offered bigtime coin to take a dive in this one and roll over for Marshall’s managers alliance mate Grant Brophy that would see Silent Bob return to Troid having stolen Marhsalls hype like a teenager stealing a pre-schoolers bag of candy on Halloween but the truth is a pay off is not needed in this one. There is a reason Marshall has been sitting idle for over 5 months now and that is he simply isnt very good. Silent Bob comes into this one with a slight advantage in Boxing and all the rest are dead even on paper, but when it comes to actual skill everyone knows the clear advantage held by Bob and many have been overheard talking backstage on how sorry they feel for Marshall. We could go on and on detailing the greatness of Silent Bob but we dont want to go out of our way to bring down the confidence of Brandon Marshall as we are sure he will accomplish that one all by his lonesome!!

Well folks thats all the time we have for the this first show but here is a quick listing of our other fights on this action packed event

170 lbs Terry Akki v George Batroc

135 lbs Mack Daddy v Bastyn Dall

205 lbs Ziba Halo v Vaas Haas

265 lbs Matt Byrne v Big Dick

155 lbs Lucas Blye v Winston Churchill

155 lbs Miguel Escrima v Perrin Aybara

185 lbs Trey Lawson v Angelos Stamatis

Legacy! 15

The Montreal Sports Complex

Frank Barbosa vs. Nick Fjera **265 lbs Title**

Frank Barbosa has been with Legacy! since the very beginning and has managed to outwork and out class all 4 of his opponent’s thus far and earn the 265 lbs belt with style. With 4 TKO’s, 3 KO’s and 1 decision victory it’s become apparent that the undefeated Barbosa is a KO master. This Saturday will be one of the toughest nights of his career as will defend his first ever title against the up and coming Nick Fjera who lies on the opposite end of the spectrum. Throughout the entirety of Fjera’s career he has faced off against some top notch strikers. He has succeeded every time with the rare exception of Stu Grimson who created the only two blemishes on Fjera’s nearly perfect 8-2-1 record. Fjera shocked many onlookers in Legacy! 11 when he ground and pounded the tough Vicenzo Vitalli to a pulp and forced a submission by strikes. After racking up 7 submission wins throughout his career that victory proved that Fjera has been working an extra dimension into his ground game. With sensational wrestling and a brown belt in BJJ, The prospect of grappling with Fjera has become a terrifying one. Barbosa will be very cautious about going to the ground because, he knows he doesn’t stand a chance if this one goes horizontal. Not only can Fjera work submissions from any angle and position, his recent demoralizing TKO victory has proven that he’s more dangerous than ever from the top. Barbosa is well rounded, he’ll be a huge threat while this fight is in the vertical. He isn’t the most powerful striker out there but, he can score knockdowns with relative ease. This could spell trouble for Fjera, he’s faced some considerable brain damage at the hands of Stu Grimson and rumor has it that he’d more prone to knockouts than he has been in the past. This fight could go either way and it’s impossible to tell the outcome. The only thing that is for certain is that this one won’t last the full 25 minutes.

185lbs Wendel Clark vs. John Altare

The co-main event will feature an excellent pair of strikers as Wendel Clark makes his debut against John Altare who dominated Liam Davidson in his Legacy debut. Born in Canada’s ‘hockey factory’ of Kelvington Saskatchewan Wendel Clark was a natural at hockey. He played for most of his life but, grew tired of the sport as he aged. When he turned 18 he decided it was time to make a move into MMA and he’s been here ever since. It’s been 6 years since his QFC debut and he’s racked up an impressive 10-2 record that saw him capture NEX’s 185 title and defend in 3 times in a row. Wendel finally met his match when he Jason Sturd Jr. duked it out twice in a row. Both fighters fought like an old married couple but in the end Sturd had his hand raised twice. Capturing the belt and defending it in a rematch. NEX has since closed and Wendel fought his final match against Pekka Kindmark in his native Canada. Clark was well received in Canada after being away for years and he chose to return and sign with Legacy! John Altare has been making waves in Canada and he’ll be looking to avenge the loss of his fellow teammate Kindmark

265lbs Johnny Cage vs Constantine Kermit

The third match on our main card features a pair of heavyweights who have aspirations of climbing into the title picture with a win tonight. Both come in following wins in their last fight and are ready to put on a show for the fans. Both these warriors feature losses to former Champion Terrell Grant by way of Submission however in this one I dont see anything short of a standup war. Cage comes into this one the much larger man which could prove to be an advantage or a disadvantage in the end. His 8 career victories by way of (T)KO is just one more then opponent Kermit however based on his career thus far Kermit looks for the finish or to be finished, as he simply can not stand those judges having never experienced a Win or Loss by way of decision. Cage has more to lose in this war as he could experience a serious rank drop with a loss but we believe he will find a way to blast through for a victory.

265lbs Dave Brown vs Jyrki Kasvi

Well folks this one sets up to be a complete standup war as both fighter possess Elite level boxing skills. But dont bet on that being the only way of victory as Brown has shown some slick BJJ skills during his career as well. Kasvi comes in having won 2 of 3 during his Legacy! career while his dance partner Brown is coming off a (TKO) victory in his debut with the company. Much like our previous fight Brown comes in as the much larger fighter holding slightly over 20lbs on Kasvi to go along with his height advantage. We wonder if his Muay Thai dominance will be a large part of his gameplan or if he will try and pull a fast one and make Kasvi tap like nobody is watching! Both these men look like they could be future kings of the Legacy HW division so we will have to wait until tonight to see who blinks first.

265lbs Terrell Grant vs Thomas Bannon

Former Legacy Heavyweight Champion Terrell Grant closes out our main card as he takes on up and coming stud Thomas Bannon. Grant is a veteran of the Legacy! cage having already stepped in 4 previous times and enjoyed a monster run until meeting head on with current champ Frank Barbosa. On the other side of the cage stands Bannon who won his debut fight with Legacy! 3 weeks ago and he looks to continue his climb into the top end of the division with a victory tonight. On paper this one looks dangerous as Bannon hold a distinct advantage on the feet but Grant is a vet with a massive BJJ arsenal that could see Bannon tapping like no tomorrow. Bannon will need to get to that chin and get to it early otherwise Grant will drag this one down and wreak havoc on the Bannon limb of his choosing.

Well thats all the time we have, sorry for the shorter then normal preview this week, here is a look at the remainder of our event

205 lbs Ivan Kuznetsov v Matt Kroblur

155 lbs Fabricio Valakas v Chad Murray

155 lbs Pernell Karl v Vanilla Ice

265 lbs The RocknRolla v Jojiro Yamanaka

170 lbs Henry White v Brendan Murphy

The fastest growing organisation in the tycooniverse hits the Montreal sports complex on the sixth of November in what will be a huge night of fights, featuring a bantamweight title fight and a string of big hitters and bone breaking BJJ practitioners squaring off on their journey toward securing their Legacy!.

http://i1341.photobucket.com/albums/o759/warpig_tycoon/maineventbase_zpspthnqay9.png

The nights main event features two of the up and coming premier bantamweight fighters on the planet collide in a highly anticipated fight for the Legacy! championship.

Contrasting styles will battle it out for supremacy in this one with the current champion Beltran being a striker with heavy hands and the challenger Blake bringing in an outstanding grappling game that has served him well to this point. Both fighters will be looking to exploit the other in their preferred style and one would speculate that Beltrans ability to keep his feet will be the difference between winning and losing for him.

William Blake may surprise and utilize his more rounded striking game to beat the champ in his own backyard if he isn't able to get the takedown he will be searching for, expect to see a battle of the chins in this one with both being so evenly matched on the feet. If it hits the mat however, we will be seeing a new champion crowned after Blake goes to work on the deck.

All signs point to a Blake victory with a slight striking advantage and a black belt in BJJ, however the champion Beltran has made a career out of putting people to sleep and he may well be too much for Blakes chin in such an evenly matched fight.

Prediction

William Blake by decision

Co-Main Event

Dead vs Il Sung

In the co-main event we will see the explosive power puncher Dead square off with the supreme grappler from North Korea in the welterweight division.

There's no question what Dead will be coming into this fight to do, and that is to knock the head off of Il Sung with that infamous big right hand, the only thing stopping him from getting another scalp on his trophy board will be his ability to stop Il Sung from dictating where the fight goes.

Il Sung will be looking to take this one to the ground at all costs, he's never been knocked out before and he won't want to be on this night either. Expect to see Il Sung chasing the power puncher around the cage trying to tie him up while eating some big punches. Can his chin hold up long enough to drag Dead to the mat?

Prediction

Better Dead by TKO

Remaining Card

Jaqquard vs Brown

Melo vs Tonga

Officer vs Murray

Irhin vs Blasts

Dhama vs Harris

Lomax jnr vs Matic

Brown vs Niedereitter

Rose vs Litt

Legacy 27

Saturday, 28th November 2015

Live from Montreal Sports Complex!

Live on Pay-Per-View!

Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the Preview for Legacy 27, live from the Montreal Sports Complex. With today being the day, it’s only a short wait for the thousands of fans of Legacy to get to see the stars in action, but now they don’t have to be in the arena to get the experience as this event marks the first PPV in Legacy history! With a number of big fights taking place, we will be covering the top 5 in depth to give you the best analysis available. Without further ado, let’s get right into it!

86f90ff12389d652e32b3c4bb224ffa2.png

The Main Event sees the Heavyweight title be put on the line as Nick Fjera defends his title against Ken Halo.

Nick Fjera is undefeated in Legacy so far, going a perfect 4-0 en route to capturing the title with a 5th round submission victory over Culver Crimson. He knocked off Merkan Killmaz and Vincenzo Vitalli to earn that shot, and since then has defended the title successfully against Travis Browne. Primarily known for his dangerous grappling game, Fjera has locked in 9 submissions from 11 victories, he also however has recently been showing off an improving striking game with 2 (T)KO victories in his last 3 fights. A dangerous man in any position, Fjera has the diversity to threaten any challenger, and that is just one reason why he is so dangerous.

Ken Halo on the other hand is a KO Machine with 13 (T)KO’s in 15 wins and is currently riding an 8 fight win streak, and makes his debut in this fight. He is a former champion at LFC, along with a strong run in NEX. While he comes up against a Submission specialist here, he has never been made to tap out in his career, and he doesn’t plan to start that run here. He will need to keep the fight standing, as a takedown will take him out of his comfort zone, and put him in the lions den.

bb889e7097f567770f143ab005b0461b.png

The Co-Main event sees two big name fighters making their org debuts in a bout that has title implications written all over it as Obelix De Gaul takes on Stu Grimson.

Obelix De Gaul signed to Legacy from LFC following their closure, and has won his last 2 fights in a row, including his first bout under new manager Bear Stevenson following his release by G Wad, and subsequent failed partnerships with Damien Washington and Dean Sutherland. Plain and simple, De Gaul is a striker who has power in his fists, and a Chin made out of Granite. He seems to be a slow learner however, as he is not as skilled as others his age should be. Regardless, he will be looking to show off his power in this bout, and come away from it with another W next to his record.

Stu Grimson is one of the hottest young prospects in MMA today, with an unblemished professional record of 17 wins, and no losses, with 16 of those wins coming via (T)KO. He is highly adept with his punches and his kicks, and when he gets to landing those strikes, his opponents find themselves overwhelmed with a vast majority of his wins coming in the first round. He faces one of his toughest challenges here, as he has to deal with an opponent with power, and also a chin. If Grimson wants to become one of the elite however, he will need to overcome this obstacle, as he looks earn a chance to compete in the 13th title fight of his career, and impressive feat for such a young fighter.

92565653702fd9ab01406e5b4385c3cd.png

A Light Heavyweight championship bout now as Patrick Brody defends his title after a couple of unsuccessful superfights against former Imperial champion Liam McGuiness.

Patrick Brody has suffered two defeats in his last two fights, first in a superfight against then Imperial champion Chief Tappenahomma, and then against Cid Strife in the Imperial vs Legacy battle. Prior to these two fights however, he was on a 6 fight win streak and will be looking to recapture that form. He has diversity in his offense, with KO and Submission victories complete with Decisions, showing he can adjust his pace to fight any style. He will need to utilise his advantage in his diversity, as his opponent in this bout has tremendous power.

Liam McGuiness is on a great run of results, with 9 wins in his last 10 fights which saw him capture the Imperial LHW championship and also pick up a win for Imperial in the Imperial vs Legacy event. He challenges for the title in his debut here as a result of that fantastic run, and he will be looking to continue his penchant for KO victories by trying to wear Brody down in this bout. He will have to be careful however, as Brody is comfortable with taking the fight to the ground, where Liam isn’t skilled as well in. If he can keep it standing, he stands a shot, and I feel that Liam has too much against power with him in this bout.

b506a6e447a13e880d5b577af47c851c.png

Down to the Welterweights now as we see Juntusen Viljo take on George Pedro.

Juntusen Viljo has shown in his fights so far he has the ability to finish fights, but he has also shown he can be stopped as well. Showing he is a very confident fighter, he is clearly very comfortable with his punches, and throws in kicks where he feels it necessary in order to slow his opponents down to allow his punches to come into effect. On the downside, he comes into this bout with missing morale and energy, and that could be a factor in the bout. He will need to get this fight over early, as the longer this goes on the harder I believe it will be for him in the bout.

George Pedro is undefeated in his last 3 bouts, and makes his debut for Legacy after signing following Imperial’s closure. He has never been knocked out in his career, but has won 10 of his 12 bouts via (T)KO. Expect him to come into this bout baying for blood, as he looks to use his morale and energy advantage effectively and put Viljo down before he can get into the fight. He throws a large volume of kicks, and that will wear Viljo down while his punches crumble him down. He will need to be wary though, as if Viljo comes out swinging he could be caught and sent down for an early night.

e1d99860b1b62667f84a0408146cd9b7.png

Kicking off the main card is a Middleweight bout that sees Nicolas Arenas taking on Vaas Haas.

Nicolas Arenas, despite his high levels of Muay Thai and Wrestling, loves nothing more than to throw punches from range which might surprise his opponents. He is making his debut in Legacy, having signed from Coyotile Fighting Championship, where he is a former champion. An obvious weakness in his game is his low BJJ, which has seen him get submitted 5 times in his career, showing that while his Wrestling is highly impressive, it’s his only defense against a potential ground fighter.

Vaas Haas on the other hand is very clearly a striker who is comfortable fighting almost anywhere, and he is a lot more adept at throwing kicks compared to Arenas. He will hold the striking advantage going into this bout, and despite Arenas having a huge advantage in wrestling, I don’t feel Haas would feel majorly threatened inside the clinch. Either way, we are sure for an exciting striking battle!

That wraps up the preview for the Main Card, and it’s sure to be an exciting night of fights. Before all that begins though, you can catch the exciting undercard that features:

Jericho Hill vs Kevin Anderson

Michael Amp vs Manolito Damhuis

Master Wong vs The RocknRolla

Doug Pattersson vs Grado Itsyersel

Toktogulovich Bakiyev vs Winston Churchill

Hope you all enjoy the event, as I know I will certainly be keeping an eye out. It was enjoyable to cover this event for Legacy, and I wish the fighters on the card the best of luck!

"Lucky" Liam McGuiness (246080)

Mad respect to the former Champion Brody for putting up a great fight.

What say we numb the pain with an icy cold beverage at Sully's before we get back to the gym?

Patrick Brody

It feels like I've been run over buy a runaway truck. 'Lucky' Liam McGuiness? I think he should change his name to something more appropriate like 'Slugger' McGuiness, he has some awesome stopping power as I found out to my cost.

I'll take you up on that beer or 12 and then it's off to the Priory to get my eating disorders sorted and I can finally kick my addiction to dieting.

Hopefully I can improve enough to climb the ranks and earn a rematch in the future.

Good luck to the new Champ!

Legacy! 28 - Available on PPV

12.05.15

Belle Centre - Montreal

Legacy! hits the Belle Centre in Montreal again on the 5th for one of its biggest events to date. An action packed card will be watched worldwide on PPV when some of the best talent the tycooniverse has to offer strut their stuff in front of more then 21,000 fans in Montreal.

Main Event

Bantanweight Bout

Ruud Gullit vs Jong Un Kim

The night main event will prove big things can come in small packages when two of the best bantamweights on the planet go toe to toe in what will be a number one contender matchup for the the prestigious Legacy! strap.

Ruud Gullit makes his debut for Legacy after registering a record of 28-7 on the pro circuit, with all of his 28 wins being finishes. The highly popular Gullit will be looking to prove a point and further solidify his spot in the top ten of the bantamweight weight class globally. Boasting a fantastic grappling pedigree topped off with a black belt in BJJ aswell as some absolute bazooka fists you can expect Gullit to come out hard and fast and try to knock Kim out early before his opponent capitalises on his striking advantage.

Jong Un Kim enters the Legacy! cage for the second time, after a complete domination at the now defunct Imperial. The former Imperial champion will come into this fight with a distinct favourite status over Gullit and surely one eye on the current Legacy! championship in the near future, blessed with the best of both worlds, Kim can finish you anywhere the fight goes and may look to take Gullit down and back his black belt in over the dangerous boxer, after all, everyone has a punchers chance and Kim has been put out before.

Prediction

The entire world will be doing Gangnam style!

Jong Un Kim by Decision

Co-Main Event

Middleweight Championship

Cid Strife vs Wendel Clark

The co-main event of the evening features two of the best up and coming middleweights in the world, when the 12-1 Cid Strife comes face to face with the 12-2 Canadian native Wendel Clark.

Cid Strife, a former Imperial champion will be a force to be reckoned with for some years to come, a highly skilled fighter who has the world at his feet at the tender age of 24, Strife will look to catapult himself into the Tycoon stratosphere at his new home, Legacy!. A complete striker, there's no questioning what Strife will be looking to do, and that's batter his opponent on the feet from the outside and in the clinch.

Wendel Clark will enter the cage for Legacy! looking for his third straight win for the organization and to secure the Legacy! belt around the waist of a Canadian who will have the crowd firmly behind him. Underdog status won't phase Clark who will be looking to avoid engaging in too many striking exchanges and get this one down to the ground where he carries a distinct advantage and perhaps his only hope, don't count him out though, you don't get a record of 12-2 for no reason.

Prediction

Cid Strife by TKO

Middleweight Bought

Ed Gennero vs Jon Altare

Gennero and Altare square off what should be an entertaining fight sure to deliver a highlight reel finish and push the winner toward the top end their division and on the right track toward a title shot in the future.

Gennero made his debut with Legacy in his last fight and the crowd who attended were not disappointed, with him finishing the fight with a brutal spinning backfist and announcing his arrival to Legacy! A heavy handed brawler with a all or nothing approach, Gennero has one plan, and that's to punch Altare in the face, hard.

Altare enters the fight with patchy form in his last six fights and will look to finally string two wins together for Legacy when he collides with Gennero. Altare has devastating power and this might be the perfect fight for him to showcase that power. Don't blink during this fight, you might miss the best part.

Prediction

Altare by TKO

Heavyweight Bout

Ji Lu vs Thomas Bannon

The big dogs step into the yard to lock jaws in what will be one of the most anticipated fights of the night.

Lu comes into the fight with a strong record and a renowned ability to find a finish, with the stronger boxing game and superior ground game, this one can go either way, however Lu might do best to avoid the standup and go for a submission win.

Bannon, or as he is better known, "The Cannon" will come into this fight looking to flaunt his scary knockout power and continue his run of knockouts toward the heavyweight belt.

Prediction

Thomas Bannon by TKO

Super Heavyweight Championship

Dave Brown vs John Bunting

The nights main card kicks off with a bang when two behemoths clash in search for literally the biggest belt that Legacy! has to offer.

Dave Brown, a world class striker will face off with an equally brilliant striker in search of the title, in a battle of the chins it seems Bunting may have the edge in both durability and youth over the aging Bunting. Able to finish on the feet and on the ground, he should be a good bet to capture the belt.

John Bunting will be looking to add another barrel to his vault full, with all the skills needed to win, it really is a matter of whether his chin holds up long enough to get the finish himself, can he overcome his declining chin and add another highlight reel knockout to his long resume?

Prediction

Dave Brown by TKO

LEGACY! 31 - Available on PPV

12.18.15

Belle Centre - Montreal

Event Preview prepared by: Taylor Powell (107803)

PRELIMS

LIGHTWEIGHT FIGHT - Clint Eastwood (11-7-1) vs Daniel Williams (5-1)
WELTERWEIGHT FIGHT - Uri Haber (7-1-1) vs Dong Uk (11-8-1)
HEAVYWEIGHT FIGHT - Farrokh Bulsara (8-2) vs Barry Opdauhl (6-3)
LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT FIGHT - Guido Gloom (12-5) vs Wayne Conner (8-4)
LIGHTWEIGHT FIGHT - Duncan Jon (19-12) vs Mike Hussle (12-8)

MAIN CARD

WELTERWEIGHT FIGHT: Alfred Hitscock (12-5) vs Timothy Poggle (12-2-1)
After having a four fight winning streak going into this last fight against Kelvin Parker, Timothy Poggle looked like someone who was very close to challenging for a title shot. The first round TKO loss to Parker will certainly set him back in that regard, but he’ll get a great opportunity in this fight against very talented striker Alfred Hitscock. Hitscock has won 5 straight fights in LEGACY! and could be in line for a title shot with a win over Poggle. Hitscock is a very dangerous striker, evidenced by all but 2 of his 12 wins coming by way of TKO. Poggle is a little more well balanced at this point in his career, but doesn’t quite have the knockout power that Hitscock possesses. Both of these fighters are extremely talented young fighters who have nowhere to go, but up in the sport.

WELTERWEIGHT FIGHT: George Pedro (13-5-1) vs Kukulcan Tonga (11-4)
In another match up of contenders in the welterweight division, Kukulcan Tonga is riding a 4 fight winning streak in LEGACY! and is trying to make his own case for a title shot. Tonga finished his first 3 opponents in the promotion and picked up a unanimous decision win over Eddie Melo in his last fight that ended up as the Fight of the Night. After a fruitful stint in the Imperial organization, including a draw in a title fight against Chief Tappenahomma, Pedro made short work of Juntusen Viljo in his debut in the promotion. Pedro has a ton of power on the feet and is incredibly tough to finish, with just 1 submission loss in his nearly 20 fight career. This is another match-up of sub 25 year old welterweights who are already top notch contenders.

WELTERWEIGHT FIGHT: Better “Off Dead (16-11) vs Chiku Maneno (12-5)
Better Dead is an extremely active fighter. At just 23 years of age, Dead already has 27 pro fights under his belt. Dead is a two time champion in the Executioner FC promotion, but has encountered more resistance in his stint with LEGACY!. At 2-2 in the promotion, Better “Off” Dead needs to get some positive momentum going or his time in the organization may be coming to an end. He’ll get that chance in this high profile fight against Chiku Maneno, who came up short in a fight against LEGACY! Welterweight champion Arlington Beech. Maneno has had an impressive career for a 25 year old, but is 0-4 in title fights. He’ll need a statement win in this fight to get him back on track. Dead always tends to give the judges the night off in fights and I would expect this fight to be no different.

Co Main Event - WELTERWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT: © Arlington Beech (16-3-1) vs Dre Still (10-2)
Arlington Beech had an impressive run in the Imperial organization after capturing the title at 155 pounds. Beech defended that title successfully four times before finally being dethroned and moving on to the LEGACY! promotion. Given a title fight in his second fight in the promotion, Beech came through with a second round TKO win against Kelvin Parker and then a third round TKO win against Chiku Maneno in his first title defense. His second defense will be against possibly the best 170 pound fighter to ever grace the Immortals fight organization. Dre Still won the title and defended it 5 times successfully before making a brief stop in Imperial, en route to LEGACY!. Still is a very different fighter than the rest of the young guys on this card. The majority of his wins have come by way of submission and he’s an absolute nightmare to deal with on the ground. Beech will certainly want to keep this fight standing and avoid the devastating ground game of Still.

Main Event - WELTERWEIGHT FIGHT: Kelvin Parker (12-4) vs Drake Kartella (18-4-3)
Drake Kartella enters the promotion with a gaudy 18-4-3 record, but a lot of fans are wondering if he can make the step up in competition at 31 years of age. Kartella is much older than the champion and contenders in the division and has shown he is vulnerable on the ground against elite jiu-jitsu fighters. Black belt Kelvin Parker will almost certainly be thinking he can get the job done if this fight hits the ground. Parker is 6-1 in the organization and briefly held the title before being finished in the second round by Arlington Beech a couple fights ago. A couple of first round finishes since that loss has Parker back in the title hunt seemingly, but this probably isn’t the fight to elevate his stock enough to get another crack at Beech. Kartella put an impressive show in his debut fight with a submission win over Trey Lawson in less than a minute, but the step up in competition in this fight is very real.

LEGACY! 32 - Available on PPV

12.19.15

Belle Centre - Montreal

Event Preview prepared by: Taylor Powell (107803)

PRELIMS
MIDDLEWEIGHT: Artem Irhin (6-4) vs Conor Harris (9-5)
LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT: Matt Kroblur (6-2) vs Francisco dAnconia (7-5-1)
MIDDLEWEIGHT: Yogi Dhamma (13-3) vs George Palmer (16-9-1)
MIDDLEWEIGHT: Kabal Labak (12-5-1) vs Rupert Blasts (7-0)
LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT: Edinger Nucleus (14-4) vs Ivan Kuznetsov (12-5)

MAIN CARD
SUPER HEAVYWEIGHT: James Bomb (77-34-7) vs Adelbert Gainsborough (15-11)
Where does one start with James “Bombman” Bomb? Bomb is an absolute legend of the sport. With 77 professional MMA wins in his career, including a whopping 63 by TKO, James Bomb is always a threat on the feet. The legend appears to be on a rapid decline dropping 4 of his last 5 fights by knockout. After a tough end to his time in the Evolution promotion, Adelbert Gainsborough is now debuting in the LEGACY! promotion. Gainsborough needs to get started early on after losing 4 straight fights in Evolution, en route to being shown the door. With neither fighter having a win by submission in his career, this fight should take place on the feet and end in dramatic fashion. Both fighters have several wins by head kick in their career and both possess elite kickboxing. The loser of this fight will have some serious soul searching to do afterwards.
WELTERWEIGHT FIGHT: Kirk St Lazarus (31-19-1) vs Boris Gregorovitsj (28-18-2)
In a battle of two proven contenders in various organizations who have combined for 17 Fight of the Night bonuses in their storied careers. Kirk St Lazarus has only fought in LEGACY! once and was defeated by unanimous decision by Yang Tao, who was dominant as the 170 pound champion of CEFC. At his last stop in the Aggressive Damage promotion, Lazarus went a staggering 6-4-1 in title fights. He has a ton of big fight experience to go with having an absolute granite chin and solid all-around ability. He’ll face off against the debuting Boris Gregorovitsj who is 0-2 in title fights, but also has plenty of big fight experience in noted organizations like Troid, Evolution, and Montreal Fight Nights. Gregorovitsj is a very dangerous Muay Thai striker, but he is more of an all-around type fighter who wins by any means necessary. It will be very interesting in this fight to see the game plans that each fighter will adopt to combat the varied skillset that both fighters possess.

LIGHT
HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT: ©Liam McGuiness (19-10) vs Johny Clattenburg (11-5)
After capturing the LEGACY! Light Heavyweight title in only his second fight in the promotion, Liam McGuiness has his sights set on defending it against the cream of the crop in the division. Johny Clattenburg has started his time in the promotion 2-0 and also fought for the title in the Imperial fight organization before arriving at LEGACY!. Both fighters are incredibly dangerous on the feet, especially with their boxing. McGuiness has 17 career wins and all but 2 have come by way of TKO. Clattenburg has 6 of his 8 wins by TKO, so we shouldn’t expect this fight to go the distance. When you put two incredibly powerfully strikers together, someone tends to end up unconscious on the canvas. This fight is certainly must see as both guys spent quite a bit of time in Imperial with a lot of success but never came across one another.
Co MAIN EVENT - SUPER HEAVYWEIGHT: Neo Kable (37-14) vs Kyle Carlton (39-14)
Two guys with a combined 76 career wins will debut on this card. All of those wins came by way of TKO, so why not put those two against each other? Why not is right, Neo Kable and Kyle Carlton will both get a chance to start their time in LEGACY! with an impressive win. Fighting the 265+ pound division might make some casual fans believe that we’ll see a boxing match that will resemble a couple of drunk guys at a bar, but that isn’t the case, unless those guys are capable of decapitating guys with thunderous head kicks as well. The amount of power and technical striking in this fight is rarely matched in this division. This is yet another fight that will certainly end with a referee stoppage. Carlton is the only fighter to ever go to a decision, dropping both many moons ago.
MAIN EVENT - HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT: © Nick Fjera (12-2-1) vs Culver Crimson (10-1)

In our main event, we have a very intriguing matchup for the LEGACY! Heavyweight title that could produce a couple different avenues for a finish. Champion Nick Fjera is undefeated at 5-0 in the promotion and has a couple successful title defenses after submitting Culver Crimson in a epic 5 round fight to win the title. Fjera’s offense largely consists of putting his black belt in BJJ to use. All 12 of his wins have been finishes, with 9 of which coming by way of submission. Culver Crimson has been with the promotion since the beginning and has compiled an impressive 6-1 record. The only loss was the aforementioned title fight against Nick Fjera. Crimson was unable to defend the takedown in the first meeting (Fjera was 5-8) and he’ll have to improve upon that if he has plans of taking home that elusive LEGACY! Heavyweight Championship belt.

LEGACY! 33 - Available on PPV

12.25.15

Belle Centre - Montreal

Event Preview prepared by: Taylor Powell (107803)

PRELIMS

LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT: Pablo Escobar (13-4) vs Johny Persecutioned (10-9)
LIGHTWEIGHT: Blind Shaman (9-2-1) vs Miguel Escrima (8-4)
WELTERWEIGHT: Juntusen Viljo (10-4) vs Jericho Hill (7-3)
LIGHTWEIGHT: Alexsandro De Souza (10-2) vs Temudjin Khaan (11-4)
BANTAMWEIGHT: Vincent Oketch (15-7) vs Diagoro Yabaisama (7-0)

MAIN CARD

WELTERWEIGHT: Kim II Sung (12-7) vs Jeremy Dunham (12-9)
After a successful debut at 170 pounds in LEGACY, Jeremy Dunham looks like he may have found a home. Dunham struggled mightily in Insanity at 155 pounds after previously finding success at 170 pounds in the Hostility promotion. Dunham will have to deal with a veteran in the promotion in the shape of Kim II Sung. Sung is a middling 4-3 so far in the promotion with all 4 wins coming by way of submission. When you watch Sung fight, you can tell he isn’t just a black belt on paper. In 21 career fights, Dunham has never been submitted, but he’ll get his stiffest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu test in this fight. A win in this fight would make Jeremy Dunham a legitimate contender in only two LEGACY! fights, while Sung has to wonder if a pink slip could be behind the door if he were to lose this fight and fall to just 4-4 since joining the promotion.

BANTAMWEIGHT: William Blake (13-4) vs Barack Obama (8-2)
After a very brief stint as LEGACY! Bantamweight champion, William Blake is now back in the contenders hunt after losing a unanimous decision fight against Edward Brown for the title. It was a rather ugly fight for Blake, who lost all 5 rounds according to multiple judges. The difference in that fight was the ground game. Blake was taken down and hit with some vicious ground and pound at multiple points of the fight. This fight against Barack Obama will be a rematch from not long ago when Blake easily won a unanimous decision victory. Since then, Obama has reeled off a couple wins in a row, running his record to 3-1 inside the promotion. Avenging his earlier loss to William Blake should put Obama in the thick of the title picture. The only downside is that Blake dominated the first matchup on the ground, as well as on the feet. Obama had no answer for the takedowns or smooth boxing from Blake. He’ll have to find one if he hopes to pull off a victory in this one.

SUPER HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT: © John Bunting (35-14) vs Mookie Blaylock (28-10)
John Bunting has been a star in every promotion he’s fought in. At 35 years old, he captured the LEGACY! Super Heavyweight title in just his first fight in the promotion. After losing the first round on all 3 judges’ scorecards, Bunting bounced back to win the next 4 rounds behind some great boxing and a couple timely takedowns. Bunting will once again have the wrestling advantage in this fight, but Mookie Blaylock is as dangerous as any striker in MMA right now. An impressive second round TKO win over Phillip Dyson in his debut, led Blaylock to his first title fight in over 3 years. At 31 years old, Blaylock is stepping into his prime as a fighter, but if he’s to have any shot at uncrowning Bunting as champion, he’ll have to keep this fight standing and use his tremendous power to get the job done. Bunting doesn’t gas and is a nightmare in the later rounds for this 265+ pound division.

LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT: Simba Burns Jr (31-16) vs Tim Smith (15-5)
In the co-main event of the evening, Simba Burns Jr is making his debut in LEGACY! after a storied career that resulted in him being a three time champion in the BMP promotion. At 39 years old, one has to wonder how much Burns has in the tank, but he definitely still has the amazing wrestling and Muay Thai kicking that made him a champion in his younger years. Tim Smith is riding high after a very impressive TKO win in the first round in his debut last time out. Smith is another elite wrestler, but he also has a lot of power in his hands. Smith has won 5 straight fights since losing his title in the DSC promotion. Both of these guys have great pedigrees in the sport, but a loss in this spot could really set either fighter back. One would expect the wrestling in this fight to cancel out and the fight to be between the boxing of Smith and the Muay Thai of Burns.

MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT: © Cid Strife (13-1) vs Ed Gennero (16-7)
With just four combined fights in the LEGACY! promotion, our main event will showcase two middleweights who aren’t as well-known as they should be. Cid Strife was a dominant champion in the Imperial organization with 7 successful title defenses before leaving. In title fights, Strife is a staggering 9-0 and is only 25 years of age. To say he is the cream of the crop at this weight class is unnecessary. Former LFC champion Ed Gennero is coming off two amazing KO victories in as many fights inside the promotion. A spinning backfist KO put him on the map in his debut fight and another early first round KO win against John Altare last time out, put him in the title picture. Gennero has only 3 decisions in 23 career fights. He’s always game to engage in a firefight even if he’s at a disadvantage. The key to this fight will be if Strife will indulge Gennero. If not, the champion should be able to pick his spots and pick up the judge’s decision victory.

LEGACY! 34 - Available on PPV

12.26.15

Belle Centre - Montreal

Event Preview prepared by: Taylor Powell (107803)

PRELIMS
WELTERWEIGHT: Erik Kramer (8-5) vs John Brown (7-9)
LIGHTWEIGHT: Winston Churchill (10-7) vs Project Falcon (6-1)
LIGHTWEIGHT: Police Officer (11-8) vs Pate Perhana (10-3)
WELTERWEIGHT: Randall Wickam (11-4-1) vs Michael Amp (13-5-1)
HEAVYWEIGHT: Terrell Grant (16-7) vs Master Wong (7-4)

MAIN CARD
HEAVYWEIGHT: Rodney Garcia (13-3) vs Matt Byrne (9-5)
In the opening fight on the main card, we have two guys in desperate need of a win. Former LFC champion Rodney Garcia is riding a 2 fight losing streak, including a unanimous decision loss to Culver Crimson in his LEGACY! debut. Garcia is a very effective grappler, as 10 of his 13 wins have come by way of submission. Matt Byrne was on a 2 fight winning streak coming into his last fight against Robbie Lautua, but was also defeated by unanimous decision. Byrne is more of a striker as far as offensive threats go, but he has very good submission defense. He has yet to be submitted in his 14 career pro fights. With another loss on his resume, Rodney Garcia would be battling to keep his job, a far cry from his title holding days in the LFC promotion. With a win, Matt Byrne could move to 3-1 in the promotion and be taken seriously as a title contender at heavyweight.
SUPER HEAVYWEIGHT: James Bomb (78-34-7) vs Declan Sweeney (33-16)
A modern day warrior, James Bomb has been through all of the ups and downs one can experience as an MMA fighter with nearly 120 professional fights under his belt. In his prime years, Bomb was fighting once a month in the Euro Premier League before making an uneven stop in the Evolution promotion. Bomb arrived at Las Vegas Prizefighting without ever holding a title. He would go on to become a 3 time champion in the promotion with 9 successful title defenses. After a 1-1 start in the LEGACY! promotion, Bomb is looking to prove his best days aren’t behind him just yet. Declan Sweeney will be making his debut in this fight after many year in the Evolution promotion without winning the title. At 37 years old, Sweeney is hungry to hold gold and what better way to get started on that journey then to knock out a legend in the sport like Bomb? Both guys have ridiculous KO rates with Bomb only having 16 decisions in over 115 total fights. This fight puts two wily veterans with a ton of power against each other. No doubt this fight should end very suddenly.
HEAVYWEIGHT: Ji Lu (16-4) vs Bull Hurley (11-2)
In the rematch of an Imperial Heavyweight title fight from a year ago, Bull Hurley will look to even the score. Ji Lu won the title from Hurley in an epic contest that resulted in a KO finish early in the 4th round. This fight won’t be for a title, but it will certainly play a huge role in deciding the next challenger for the title here in LEGACY!. Hurley was given a sweetheart match in his first bout in the promotion and finished Vincenzo Vitalli in the 2nd round by KO. Ji Lu was given a more dangerous opponent in Thomas Bannon, but also finished the fight in the second round by KO. Adding a win over Bull Hurley could be enough for Lu to get a crack at the title, but this should be a barnburner. The first fight was an absolute war and neither fighter has been in the championship rounds before or since that fight.
Co Main Event - LIGHTWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT: © Liam Donnelly (14-4) vs De Bruyne (14-1-1)
In another rematch on this card, Lightweight champion Liam Donnelly is taking on De Bruyne, the man he defeated for the title about 6 months ago. After a unanimous decision win over Alexsandro De Souza, the LEGACY! brass have given Bruyne a rematch. The fight against De Souza was the first time in 11 fights that De Bruyne had fought in a non-title fight. In his five year fighting career, De Bruyne had never been defeated before losing a lopsided decision against Donnelly in the first fight. The motivation will certainly be at an all-time high for Bruyne in this rematch. Liam Donnelly is 5-0 in the promotion and recently won his first title defense in a 5 round thriller against Charles Bronson. Donnelly was able to deliver an improbable comeback win after unanimously being down 3-1 coming into the 5th and final round. Some short punches in the clinch really rocked Bronson and finished the job with a devastating uppercut. This fight should be another war, but anything is possible with the power that both of these men possess.
Main Event - FEATHERWEIGHT: Akeen Coker (15-3) vs Ruud Gullit (28-8)
In a very intriguing co-main event, veteran Ruud Gullit is hoping to improve upon his surprising first round TKO loss in his LEGACY! debut. Gullit was a staple as the champion in the LFC promotion, including leaving there on a 5 fight winning streak, 3 of which were title fights. He was knocked out early by Jong Un Kim, but Kim is an amazing 17-2 in his career and won 10 straight title fights in the Imperial promotion. This time around Gullit will face an elite wrestler in Akeen Coker. Coker isn’t much of a threat to finish fights against top competition, but he still found a way to become a 2 time champion in the UNFC fight organization. Coker is an incredibly durable fighter and has never been finished in his career, but probably hasn’t faced a fighter with the power of Rudd Gullit before. Something has to give in this fight as Gullit has only saw 1 decision in his 3 fight career, while Coker has went to 12 decisions in his 18 fight career, all of which coming since he made a drastic step up in competition.

Magnus "THE BLACK" Mamba (78967)-Just signed for LEGACY to fight this poser Sean Tallon. He seems like a example of a failed rapper whose mixtapes no one downloads or who has only a couple of hundred likes on FB.Posing with a bunch of white hookers makes him think that he is some rapstar.Offcourse that's not the case. Not to worry,All his delusions will be brought to an end come 2nd Jan.

LEGACY! 35 - Available on PPV

Event Preview prepared by: Taylor Powell (107803)

LEGACY! 35

PRELIMS

MIDDLEWEIGHT: Doug Pattersson (10-9) vs Trey Lawson (10-1)
WELTERWEIGHT: Nino Niederreiter (3-0) vs Manolito Damhuis (10-4)
MIDDLEWEIGHT: Vaas Haas (6-2) vs Grado Itsyersel (4-1)
HEAVYWEIGHT: Obelix De Gaul (9-5) vs Travis Browne (12-9)
MIDDLEWEIGHT: Nicolas Arenas (11-7) vs Steven Rutherford (12-0-1)

MAIN CARD

LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT: Patrick Brody (13-5) vs Ravi Shankoli (19-4)
In our opening fight on the main card, Ravi Shankoli is looking to avenge is one and only loss in the LEGACY! promotion to Patrick Brody. Shankoli has won his last 3 fights since and if he avenges his previous loss here, could find himself in the title hunt. Patrick Brody is the former champion at 205 pounds. He was knocked out by Liam McGuiness in his last fight to lose the belt. Brody had no issue with Shankoli the first time around winning a unanimous decision and all 5 rounds on each judge’s scorecard. Brody overwhelmed him on the feet, especially with the brutal leg kicks and jabs to Shankoli’s head. He’ll have to check those leg kicks in this fight this time around. It became obvious that those kicks took away a lot of the movement and left him open to the punches from Brody.

HEAVYWEIGHT: Constantine Kermit (10-3) vs Ken Halo (15-5)
Ken Halo was one of the more highly anticipated heavyweights to ever make his debut in the promotion, but he was immediately thrown to the wolves against reigning champion Nick Fjera. Fjera is 6-0 and has 3 successful title defenses under his belt. Halo isn’t facing quite that level of competition in this fight, but Constantine Kermit is nobody to be taken lightly. Kermit has won his last 4 fights and 3 of which came by knockout. If there is any hangover effect going on with Halo, he could have his lights turned out in this fight. Both of these massive men have a ton of power and knockout victories to their credit, so this fight could very easily end with one punch. With neither fighter having much ground game to speak of, it’s pretty clear that this fight will stay on the feet and should be an exciting bout for the fans.

BANTAMWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT: © Edward Brown (11-0-1) vs Jong Un Kim (17-2)
In an essential superfight at 135 pounds, the longest reigning champion in Imperial history has earned a title shot at the LEGACY! title after a couple of wins in the promotion. Jong Un Kim successfully defended his title nine straight times in Imperial. The new champion is Edward Brown. Brown won a unanimous decision over William Blake in his last fight. Brown is 11-0-1 in his career and has yet to taste defeat. Both fighters have several submission victories on their resume and it’ll be interesting to see who is able to take control when this fight hits the ground. Kim is a black belt in BJJ who has 6 wins by submission, 5 by TKO, and 6 by decision. He’s proven himself capable of winning a fight in every way. Champion Edward Brown has 0 TKO wins in his career but does have 4 wins by submission and 7 by decision. This fight will probably be decided by points so striking volume should be a huge factor in this fight.

HEAVYWEIGHT: Stu Grimson (18-0) vs Robbie Luatua (11-6)
Stu Grimson could be the top pound of pound fighter in MMA. At 18-0, with 17 of which coming way of TKO, Grimson dominated the now defunct New Era Xtreme promotion. He successfully defended the 265 pound title 11 times before moving on to this promotion. Two of his wins were TKO wins over reigning LEGACY! champion Nick Fjera. I would imagine the champion will have a keen interest in how his rival looks in his second fight. The opposition in this fight is previously little known Robbie Luatua. He didn’t arrive with a ton of hype, but with 3 straight wins in LEGACY!, people are starting to take notice. Luatua is a very talented striker with power, but he’ll face by far the biggest challenge of his career in this fight. You have to wonder how much the promotion will make highly touted Stu Grimson prove before giving him the title shot that most are dying to see.

FEATHERWEIGHT: Anton Chekhov (26-10-2) vs John Jamison (29-19-1)
In the co-main event, we have 2 massive heavyweights so why not mix it up with a couple of lightning quick, highly skilled little guys in the main event? Both Anton Chekhov and John Jamison are making their debuts in the promotion after many years of success in promotions like Montreal Fight Nights, Evolution, and New York Fight Nights. Chekhov is more of a finisher on his feet with 10 wins by TKO, while Jamison has an impressive 14 wins by submission in his career. Both guys are elite wrestlers, but Jamison is the much more capable finisher on the ground. Both fighters are incredibly durable and have no TKO losses on their resume, so this fight should more than likely reach the judges’ scorecards. This is an outstanding matchup because both guys are so widely known and both would love nothing more than to challenge for a title at yet another promotion.

LEGACY! 36

PRELIMS

BANTAMWEIGHT: Iain Donovan (6-3) vs Balfour Darrow (2-3)
HEAVYWEIGHT: Vincenzo Vitalli (7-5) vs Big Dick (9-7)
BANTAMWEIGHT: Uncle Creepy (9-4) vs Marat Tandelov (10-8-1)
WELTERWEIGHT: Terry Akki (10-8) vs Jack Jone (10-3)
HEAVYWEIGHT: Dante Boudain (9-3) vs Hennan Hoyce (6-0)

MAIN CARD

WELTERWEIGHT: Malik Al-Khaldi (10-1) vs Kevin Anderson (9-3)

Two fresh into LEGACY! welterweights will get their shot at the big time in the first fight on the main card. Malik Al-Khaldi is coming off the first loss of his young career by decision in his last fight. Al-Khaldi is 10-1 in his career with 9 of the wins coming by knockout. A staggering 5 of those 9 knockouts have come from head kicks. At a distance, he is a very dangerous fighter who is always one strike away from finishing the fight, which is a rarity anymore at 170 pounds. Kevin Anderson was successful in his debut fight, defeating young upstart Jericho Hill in the 3rd round by TKO. Anderson is more a of a pressure fighter who thrives on using his hands, whether it’s in the standup or in the clinch. If he can get this fight into the clinch, he should have some significant advantages over Al-Khaldi. Both fighters have solid defensive wrestling, so I wouldn’t expect to see much rolling on the mat in this fight.

LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT: Brian Pereira vs Agustin Trujillo

A one-time challenger for the title at 205 pounds in Insanity, Agustin Trujillo has some work to do to convince the brass that he belongs after starting his time in LEGACY! 0-1-1. Trujillo fought to a draw with middling prospect Francisco dAnconia before being knocked out by the debuting Johan Attila in his last fight. Trujillo is a black belt in BJJ and has put it to good use with 5 of his 8 wins by submission, but he has also been knocked out 5 times in 15 career fights. He’ll once again face a man making his debut in the promotion. This time it will be former Troid fighter Brian Pereira. Pereira is also a very accomplished ground fighter, but he’s only been finished once in his 17 fight career. This is a good matchup for Trujillo who should be the better ground fighter and should be able to avoid a standup war that results in him getting tagged normally.

SUPER HEAVYWEIGHT: Daniel Campos (23-9-1) vs Phillip Dyson (16-6)

In our co-main event, we have a very interesting fight in the open division. Daniel Campos is a bruising fighter who walks around just south of 300 pounds. He’s picked up a couple of unanimous decision victories in his first fights in the promotion. He should have close to a 40 pound weight advantage on the guy he’ll face in this fight. Phillip Dyson impressed in his debut with a 2nd round knockout of James Bomb, but was badly cut open in his last fight against Mookie Blaylock and eventually finished. This isn’t the first time cuts have been the story with Dyson. He has lost 5 of his 6 fights from cutting sustained. When he isn’t bleeding everywhere, Dyson is a terrific finisher though. Of his 16 career wins, 15 of them have come by way of TKO. One has to wonder if Dyson will be able to survive at the open weight division with his history of cutting problems.

FEATHERWEIGHT: Magnus Mamba (41-10) vs Sean Tallon (27-9)

In our main event, we have two featherweights who are very well known for their striking. Magnus Mamba has 34 wins by TKO in his 41 fight career, which is insane for a division like featherweight. Mamba was one of the most dominant champions in the history of the Dynasty Kickboxing organization. He successfully defended his title 9 straight times before moving on to fight in MMA. Since then, he’s challenged for titles at both Death Squad and Evolution in much higher weight classes. Since dropping to 145 pounds, Mamba has looked refreshed at 42 years old. Sean Tallon was also a professional kickboxer before making the transition to MMA. After failing to capture gold at 135 pounds in Steel Penn and Evolution, Tallon is hoping the move to 145 will be enough to get him on the right track. This fight should be a war on he feet as both guys are terrific strikers who won’t back down.

MAIN CARD

BANTAMWEIGHT: Da Skrumbo (18-5) vs Bee Jay (11-4)
In the first fight on the main card, we have a trilogy to finish. Da Skrumbo made his debut last fight out successfully with a decision win over Arthas Menethil. In the LFC fight promotion, Da Skrumbo and Bee Jay fought twice and both resulted in a TKO win for Da Skrumbo. With fresh starters in LEGACY! for both fighters, Bee Jay is hoping to get some revenge for the past and keep rolling after an impressive submission win over Grey Worm in his last fight. In the first two fights, Bee Jay helplessly tried to take the fight to the ground and into the clinch as well. Da Skrumbo stuffed all 5 takedown attempts and broke the clinches iniated from Bee Jay. When standing, Bee Jay’s only offense were leg kicks to keep the distance. It was only a temporary fix though as both times Da Skrumbo closed distance and used his exceptional boxing to win the fight before the second round bell.

LIGHTWEIGHT: Antonio Lobo (18-1) vs Chad Murray (8-4)
Antonio Lobo is quite possibly the best pure Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighter in MMA right now. Lobo is 18-1 in his career and has 15 wins by submission, including 7 of them in title fights in the Coyotile promotion. Lobo has 2 fights inside LEGACY! and has finished both inside 2 rounds by submission. It’ll be critical for Chad Murray to stay away from the ground in this fight. Chad Murray has gifts of his own though. Murray is an excellent power who had stopped 6 of his first 9 fights by TKO before arriving in the promotion. Since arriving, Murray is a respectable 2-1 with his last 2 fights being decision wins. Murray has been subbed twice in his short career, but does have solid wrestling that could make getting the fight to the ground problematic for Lobo. Lobo has yet to disappoint on the amazing hype he entered the organization with and another impressive stoppage could put him at the front of the line for a title shot.

WELTERWEIGHT: Drake Kartella (18-5-3) vs Chiku Maneno (13-5)
Drake Kartella was riding a 6 fight winning streak before being tapped by Kelvin Parker in his second fight in this promotion. Kartella impressed in his debut with a quick submission win over Trey Lawson, but was caught in a guillotine late in the first round against Parker. Kartella is mostly a two trick pony with his solid BJJ and boxing. He’s a finisher by nature, but it can come with the submissions or with his hands. Chiku Maneno is an amazing boxer in his own right. With all but two of his wins coming by way of TKO, Maneno knows how to finish guys on the feet. That is the one of the reasons Maneno received an immediate title shot against Arlington Beech when he arrived. Maneno actually knocked Beech in a non-title fight before arriving and getting the title shot in his next fight, but was unable to replicate that result with the title on the line as Beech dispatched of him very late in the third round by TKO. Maneno will have to work his way back up the ladder to get that third crack at the champion.

WELTERWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT: © Arlington Beech (17-3-1) vs Kukulcan Tonga (12-4)
Kukulcan Tonga is on a 5 fight winning streak that began at LEGACY! 1 and has only grown since. Tonga has never fought for a title anywhere in his young career, but he’ll get that chance in the co-main event against Legacy and Imperial staple Arlington Beech. Outside of a non-title loss to Chiku Maneno, Beech has won his last 6 fights. This will be the 12th title fight for Beech, who should be well accustomed to fighting five rounds. On the other hand, Tonga has only went the 5 round distance once in his career and it was his second pro fight nearly 5 years ago. Both of these fighters are very similar in style, but Tonga hasn’t been tested against someone with the abilities of Beech before. Both guys are strikers that utilize great defensive wrestling and BJJ to keep the fight standing. Both guys have no bones about clinch fighting or striking at a distance. I would expect Beech to try and exploit the potential nerves that Tonga could have early in this fight and look to capitalize on a mistake.

FEATHERWEIGHT: Jack Judo (37-13-1) vs Predator Burns (12-3)
In our main event, we have a couple of featherweights who need no introduction to most MMA fans. Jack Judo and Predator Burns have never fought in this promotion, but have starred in some instant classic fights. Jack Judo was the long time champion of the NBC organization. He successfully defended the title 6 times before being knocked off in back-to-back fights by Paul Smith. Judo eventually regained the title from Smith and successfully defended it a couple more times before leaving the promotion. Predator Burns is 6 years younger and much less experienced in big money fights, but was one of the top pound for pound fighters in the Insanity promotion, winning 7 of his 8 fights there. Getting down to the nuts and bolts of this fight, both guys live on the mat with their black belts in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Judo has a staggering 30 wins by submission, while Burns has 8 of his 12 wins by the same manner. One would have to favor the older, more proven Judo in this fight, but Burns could conceivably catch him in a bad position with the skill level he has on the ground.
