Kronix
I learnd something really useful today, in windows from version 7 or later there is a tool you can access that makes easy screen shots of just the part you want. Simply go to your search window and enter in snipping. It's super easy and really fast. Perfect for saving sliders as it's easy to store as JPG or whatever else you want a quick screen shot of. I use to do the old fashion way of hitting the print screen key and then pasting it in paint but this is so much faster and easier. It's so good I thought I'd share my new found wisdom and I placed it here cuz most people only visit this part of the forum
Wolf
Personally i use gyazo, easy app to use. Works much like what you described, drag it over the section you want and voila there it is. It's not so great if you want to save your slider settings though

markyosullivan
Yeah I use this tool now for the majority of my screenshots, far more useful because a lot of the time I only want to screenshot a certain area of the screen.
