After visiting the local comic book shop after my win, i sat down with my coaches and manager and had a bit of a chat about what my options were in terms of my career.

After thinking about it, I have decided i prefer to fight in London and have signed a 3 fight extension.

Hopefully in that time i can continue to grow and take my skills to the next level.

Anton "The Assassin" Altair

Another fight that I f**king lose because I got a bit careless and my chin didn't hold on. I would say your a great champion Brophy, although I have great respect for you, you still got a lot to improve. If it were a 3 round fight, it would have gone like 30 to 27, but I keep falling apart in this long fights and I think I need a f**king terapist to get me past thru this. I actually can't believe you Ko'ed me with you hopping on that front leg. Anyway good fight.

Was a damn good fight indeed Anton Altair. Easily my most difficult challenge to date, so it pleases me that I was able to get through it. Fight went pretty much how I thought it would, but I have to say i'll be feeling a the bruises tomorrow morning.

But I have said it before, and I will say it again. At 145lbs, nobody can touch me in the 270k ID range. The only guy I have respect for is my old Clash of Alliances teammate Zurgadai Jebe, everyone else is just a scrub on my path to the top. Seeing as I don't have an immediate challenger, i'm gonna get my ass back in the gym and work on perfecting my game. I'm already the finest physical specimen in the entire org, so I gotta bring the techniques to match it.

After a longer break and changing the organisation I finally step inside the octogon to do what I love. Like all my fights I've gone in there looking to Ko my opponent which I did. I got off a bit more hesitant then before, but the end result was actually the same. My opponent got Ko'ed in less then 3 min. I will get better with every fight here and most probably will look to establish my rain and become number 1 in my weight and after that I will be gunning for the top spots in the p4p ranking. Anyway I want to thank the fans for the possitive reception and I will give it all fight by fight so I will become the next king in Generation.

Well.... I tried. I entered TWGC and unfortunately I was matched against a veteran who was able to beat me on points.

But now that's out of the way, it's time to defend my belt. I think a new comic book that I want to read comes out the same week I fight so i will be using that money to buy myself some new comics to read while i wait the next fight!

Simon Sims (272540)

After 8 fights in Rio, i think it is time to return home. I peaked a little early in my career and the strain and inconvenience of traveling took it's toll on my body and I find myself on a 4 fight losing skid.

I have nothing but good things to say about King of the Beach, but fighting in London will add one less distraction to my training so hopefully I can turn my recent run of luck around.

Hello and welcome to the first ever MMA Fanzone episode. I’m your host Jack Russell, let’s meet the guests. Joining me for this episode is former All American wrestler and trainer of some of the best fighters in the world, Johnson Schmid! Also one the show is Renato Silvia, one of the most decorated BJJ artists in the world today. This weeks final guest if former MMA legend and patriarch of one of the best up and coming families in MMA today, Knut Ysengrin!

Jack Russell
Johnson Schmid
Renato Silvia
Knut Ysengrin

On this episode we will be talking about an event hosted by one of the most promising organisations around, GENERATION’s 11th event.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1456239075poster%204.gif

Jack Russell: Let’s start with the main event, it features Gabriel "Hammerhead" Dahl vs. Iosue Nicu at 205lbs. Dahl was part of the Island season 4, where he finished as Solitude LHW champion but was defeated in round 2 of the tournament. Since leaving the Island he has gone 0-3, with his 3 opponents in those fights being much younger prospects. Nicu himself is a highly entertaining prospect with a 10-1 record and 8 (T)KO’s to his name.

Johnson, what are your thoughts on how this fight will play out?

Johnson Schmid: Dahl is an old warhorse, he doesn’t really specialise in any area. However he is deadly on the mat with those submissions. I imagine Renato is salivating at the thought of seeing him on the ground, but in my opinion he doesn’t have great offensive wrestling to get fights on the mat. He relies on catching opponents off guard and dragging fights to the ground from the clinch, but he is fighting one of these super beasts in Nicu. Nicu’s striking is fantastic, we haven’t seen him tested on the mat but Nicu should get the job done with ease, it looks like Dahl is fighting for the paycheck and being thrown to a wolf.

Renato Silvia: Now now, I wouldn’t be so sure in that outcome Mr. America. Grappling is still one of the most under-rated aspects of MMA, as you said Nicu has never been tested there, if Dahl can get this to the clinch he can use some of that old man strength to muscle around the younger fighter and lock up a submission once he takes it to the floor.

JR: Looks like you two are split on your opinions, Knut as a former fighter with high level experience, who do you see winning?

Knut Ysengrin: Both are right, both are too stubborn to admit they can see the other man winning. Personally, Nicu seems to have the bigger upside in his career but that doesn’t mean he will win. However it does look like Nicu is being thrown a bone to play around with in Dahl. Nicu takes this 9 times out of 10.

JR: There we have it, 2 votes in favour of 1 for Nicu to take the fight.

Next up we have a title fight in the 205lbs division. Jake Blake vs. "Führer" King Bradley. Blake stands at an impressive 7-0 in his young MMA career with all wins coming via (T)KO. Bradley lost in his MMA debut, but since then he has posted 6 straight wins, showcasing an impressive stand up skill set. Now Renato, I know before the show you were very high on Jake Blake’s skills and believed he would be a future star.

RS: Oh man, what’s not to love about this guy? He has power for days, he may punch harder than most people at 205. No one can take his punches for too long. The few times he has been taken down he has shown off his BJJ, countering positions perfectly.

JS: You would be taking the Brazilian to win a fight. I don’t think you’ve ever picked against one.

RS: Man, shut your trap. Brazilians have dominated MMA for a long time now and will continue to do so. We are born fighters.

*Jack Russell gestures for Johnson Schmid not to start a fight on the first episode of his new show – Schmid grunts and let’s Renato carry on*

RS: I admit I haven’t seen Bradley fight, but whoever he is Blake will smack him around before KOing him.

JS: Bradley has shown a smart approach in his fighting style, I can’t recall him ever losing a round before. He may not pack the punching power his opponent does, he knows this so he prefers to stick and move, stick and move. Usually his opponents exhaust themselves and that’s when he goes for the finish. That said, the whole time this remains standing he is playing Blake’s game. Unless he suddenly developed offensive wrestling and neutralises Blake’s power, I don’t see him taking this fight.

KY: You are both vastly underestimating Bradley. He trains with some of the best fighters in the world, I even sparred with him a few times. The kid is eager and he has fight for days in him. He is a thinker in the cage, he can take Blake to deep waters where he has never been before and grind out this win.

JR: Renato and Johnson actually agree on something? That’s a first!

*Awkward laughter*

Up next we have Scott Hall "Monitor" vs. Suklaa Muna. Hall challenged for GENERATIONS’s title 2 fights ago, in a fight where he admitted he took too soon he was out-grappled and eventually submitted. Outside of that fight he has dominated his opponents, with 3 TKO’s, Muna has displayed his boxing and power in all of his 7 fights, even in his two losses. Now, Knut, I know you know Hall quite well. You’ve seen all of his fights, how difficult a challenge is Muna for him?

KY: Hall is a terror once he gets in that clinch, he is like a dog on a bone and will not let go until the ref pulls him off. Muna is a unique challenge for him, Hall has never faced someone quite so powerful as Muna nor has he fought someone with the boxing skills. Hall has shown good adaptability before, I think he will grind on Muna and drain his energy for the win.

JS: Hall is a reverse wrestler, he was a great wrestler when he was young and you can see it in the way he fights. Like so many other wrestlers he has fallen in love with striking and his power, so sadly we don’t get to see much offense from him. The way he engages in clinches and controls once he is in there is typical wrestling manoeuvres and I doubt a boxer like Muna will be able to hold him off for long, unless he runs away like a pussy the whole fight in which case he is a loser anyway.

RS: Man, MMA is about winning you know? Running won’t make him any fans but it will prolong his career so he doesn’t take too much damage.

JS: You know what else will prolong careers? TRT, didn’t quite work out well for you though did it?

*Jack Russell once again defuses the situation with a quick gesture*

RS: Let me continue, Muna can fight smart and pick his shots. He can win this fight, he has the better stand up and Hall won’t be able to hug him all fight, he will get hit eventually.

JR: Next up we have a HW contest, Marv "Hopper" Miller vs. The Uppertaker. Neither have found much success in MMA as Miller has gone 1-1 whilst Uppertaker is 6-5. Both like wrestling unlike many other HW’s, Johnson, as a former HW national wrestler how do you see this fight going?

JS: Well Jack, Miller showed great heart and determination his win, he got knocked down and was badly hurt before he scored a knockdown of his own and once he was in top positon he held it perfectly and started raining down bombs. Uppertaker is also very good on top, but he doesn’t have the brute strength Miller does, Miller should be able to power out of most situations and once on top he will end this.

JR: Moving on to the opening fight on the main card, Ryo "Ruthless" Rossi vs. Maxx Decker. Two more HW grapplers meet up, a classic wrestling vs. BJJ fight. Rossi has great submissions particularly from his guard. Whilst Decker has shown powerful boxing with heavy fists once he gets on top of you. Renato, who takes this?

RS: Rossi. Decker can KO him on the feet, but my feeling is he will be too proud like most American wrestlers, he will take Rossi down to prove a point. Once he is on top Rossi will lock him up and score the submission. I’ve heard great things about Rossi from his BJJ coaches, trained by some top Brazilians who know how to transition it to MMA.

JR: OK, that’s about all we have time for on this edition. Before we go, let’s get your quick picks for the opening bouts.

Ronald "Boxdweller" McCoy vs. Adam "The Beast" Bastien – 145lbs

JS: McCoy has more skills to win this, he will take it.

RS: McCoy.

KY: McCoy, has the better boxing, coming in off a good win.

Troy "Golden Gloves" Alexander vs. Scott Adams – 170lbs

JS: Alexander, better boxing, more power. Adams can’t take a punch.

RS: Alexander, he has slick boxing skill.

KY: Alexander.

Sancho Brumbleroot vs. Dirk NoItsHe – 265lbs

JS: Both are pretty awful, but Brumbleroot should be able to keep it on the feet long enough to turn the lights out.

RS: NoltsHe. His ju jitsu is great, he will wrap up a limb in the first round.

KY: Brumbleroot.

Gunnar "Icelandic" Nelson vs. Joko "Memang" Lelono – 170lbs

JS: Lelono. He may not have a good chin but Nelson doesn’t have the striking to bother him.

RS: Nelson, he will be able to outgrapple for a decision.

KY: Lelono.

Braulio "Bang" Escobar vs. Clifton Von Lee – 205lbs

JS: Von Lee. He has wrestling for days, he seems to have tightened up his submissions defence.

RS: Von Lee, Escobar won’t be able to hold him off.

KY: Escobar, I don’t think Von Lee has in in him to be a fighter, 0-3. Not too promising.

Jack Russell: Thank you for watching, it’s been a pleasure. Big thank you to our guests, and it was great having you on Knut. If you wish to be on a future show, get in touch. We hope to bring you more episodes in the future providing we have sufficient backing.

Iosue Nicu

Good fight with Dahl, I let him take me down 2 times just to prove the division I don;t have holes in my game. I played a bit with him, and I was actually amazed he absorbed some of my kicks, but in the end it all acumulated and the ko camed without me forcing it

Neculai "Quick" Costel

A quick first round finish and it seems I impressed the right persons as I was offered to fight for the gold next which I accepted with ease.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/takedown2.gif
Costel has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Canon clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Canon is trying to stand back up.
http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/2.gif
That's two minutes gone in the round.
http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/sub2.gif
Costel is cranking Canon's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Canon! He's tightened the choke and Canon is tapping out!

From clinch to suplex to back and RNC. You won;t see that often if I;m not in that fight.

"Chicken Killer" Ralph Miller (4-1):

"Another piece of chicken, another first round submission. Who's next? I hope I won't be fighting chickens after chickens because I want a real challenge, a REAL challenge. Anyway, ain't nobody is stopping the chicken killer! "
