Bravado 4: Gracie v Krustofski was a mixed martial arts event held by Bravado Productions, in conjunction with the Kore Fight Nutrition [TG], Hoarseplay Writing Productions, and Bet-X [TG] Bookmaker. This event will took place on August 7, 2016 at The Underground arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Bravado 4: Gracie v Krustofski – Official Review

[Preliminary Bouts]

(Light-heavyweight Division) Wally Fenderson versus BongBong Digong

Round 1 – Wally Fenderson quickly took the center of the cage, with BongBong Digong circling on the outside, pawing out with jabs and leg kick attempts to keep his distance. Thirty seconds in, Fenderson hadn't even thrown a jab yet, and Digong scored with crisp right hand, opening a cut over the eye of Fenderson.

This seemed to bring Fenderson online, as he immediately dove in for a takedown, which was stuffed with ease from Digong. BongBong scored with a one-two combination, and Fenderson looked to respond with an overhand right, but instead ducked under and shot in for a double leg takedown! He got it, landing in half guard on top.

This is big trouble for Digong, Wally Fenderson is an animal on the ground,” our color commentator exclaimed!

Indeed, as BongBong immediately tried to force a scramble to get back to his feet, Fenderson slid into side control. Once more, BongBong tried to bridge his hips and stand, and Fenderson took his back! BongBong had found himself in a very disconcerting position to be in during your first professional fight in front of a sell-out crowd. Fenderson looked to be working for a rear choke, but instead slid to the side and locked in an armbar! Digong tapped out immediately!

Ladies and gentlemen, our referee has called a stop to this contest at two minutes and twenty-five seconds of the first round, declaring the winner by TAP OUT due to an armbar: Wally Fenderson!”

(Light-heavyweight Division) Dillon Weber versus Gerry Pounder

Round 1 – Gerry Pounder lived up to his nickname by struggling to make the two-oh-five weight limit. After some additional efforts, Gerry was able to cut the remainder of his weight off.

In this fight, we knew that we would be witness to the thunderous punching power of Dillon Weber as he struggles to stay on his feet and make it count against the Jiu-Jitsu specialist, Gerry Pounder. Typically, in this scenario, you want to stay a bit more cautious rather than going balls-to-the-wall... but somebody forgot to tell Weber. He came out swinging, opening the fight with a three punch combination that staggered Pounder and busted open a cut on his face. Weber landed a nasty leg kick, and flopped a head kick attempt as well, before landing two combinations in a row!

Gerry Pounder avoided a one-two combination and scored a single leg takedown into guard. Credit goes to Dillon Weber for staying busy from the bottom, and for keeping Gerry from passing the guard. However, you couldn't escape the feeling that it was only a matter of time, as Gerry Pounder methodically tested the waters before going all-in with a kneebar! Weber fought the hold, but eventually screamed in pain and tapped out!

Ladies and gentlemen the referee has called a stop to this contest at one minute and fifty-two seconds of round number one, declaring the winner by tap out due to a kneebar: Gerry “Get Some” Pounder!”

In defeat, Dillon Weber stepped up to the mic, saying 'Thanks for coming out party's on me'.

[undercard Bouts]

(Welterweight Division) Tung Surano versus Jarred Sullivan

Round 1 – Jarred Sullivan started this fight off looking like a seasoned veteran, while Tung Surano clearly suffered from the first fight jitters; Sullivan opened with a swooping hook to the body and smiled. Surano attempted to catch the fleet-footed Sullivan, obviously looking to turn this into a grappling match, and Sullivan easily back pedaled away, but came back with a stiff right hand on the button.

Sullivan started to get a bit cocky, as blow after blow landed on the face of Surano; Sullivan rushed in with a sequence of wild punches that missed horribly, and Surano tagged him with a snapping head kick that bloodied the face of Sullivan. Surano attempted to clinch, following the successful kick, and Sullivan ducked under his attempt and took him to the ground, landing in side control! After holding the position for a second, Jarred Sullivan jumped back to his feet, obviously not wanting to roll with the purple belt for too long.

Back on their feet, Sullivan pushed forward with a head kick of his own, but stepped back and took a big, deep breath. Surano smelled blood, and upped the pace, looking to wrestle; Sullivan did a remarkable job at staying on his feet, and even landed a decent right cross. Despite this one success, Sullivan was having a lot more trouble landing strikes as the round progressed.

In the final minutes of the round, Jarred Sullivan scored another takedown and stood back up, obviously looking to score points more than anything else, and seemed to get his second wind, landing punches and kicks as the seconds ticked away.

Round 2 – As tired as Jared Sullivan was in this round, he dominated every second of it with effective striking mixed with takedowns that led nowhere, but still scored. Tung Surano spent the majority of the round chasing after Sullivan with his hands down, looking for a takedown that never arrived. The difference in the wrestling ability of the two men was hugely obvious in this round; Surano may have been a dangerous submission fighter, but Sullivan's defensive wrestling was simply too strong to be overcome by this opponent.

Round 3 – Sullivan opened with a beautiful three-strike combination before taking Surano down and standing out of the guard. For his part, Tung Surano seemed to have resigned himself to a game plan of wrestling and nothing else, as he was chasing Sullivan down, looking to score a takedown, or clinch, and he was getting absolutely beaten down for his troubles. Sullivan, at one point, scored a jab to the body, and followed it with a spinning back fist to the jaw. In the end, this was one of the most one-sided fights in the history of Bravado Productions.

After three rounds of action, we go to the judges scorecards for a decision. All three judges score this contest in favor of your winner by split decision: Jarred “Silky” Sullivan!”

The defeated Tung Surano had this to say: 'Well today I'm not happy, you know I made a lot of mistakes and underestimated Jarred. But you know this sport of MMA is all about the best fighter in the ring at that moment. I know I was the better fighter but I got careless and the result is a loss. Thank you fans for coming out.'

Surano walked away and left the cage without accepting any questions.

(Heavyweight Division) Brock The Beast versus Pillow Hands

Round 1 – The battle of the two early starters opened with a bang: Pillow Hands came out with the lead right, tagging The Beast repeatedly with it. Brock The Beast responded with his patented power double leg, blasting through the sprawl attempt of Pillow hands.

Our color commentator announced, “Brock The Beast is in half guard, let's see what he can do with it.

Brock more or less controlled from the top position, although he did attempt to pass into side control early; Pillow Hands fought him every step of the way, struggling to maintain his guard control without letting the powerful hands of Brock start hammering away with ground and pound.

After several minutes of failed pass attempts, Brock attempted a sloppy forearm choke, but Pillow Hands retained his guard control. Having seen enough inaction, the referee opted to stand the fighters up. Brock protested the standup, but was forced to put up his dukes as Pillow Hands rushed forward.

Brock The Beast took a big, deep breath, and Pillow Hands came forward, this time opening with a jab before moving on to a powerful rear uppercut. Pillow connected with another jab, followed by a looping left hook that snapped back the head of Brock!

Brock the beast reached up to wipe away the blood now pouring from his eye.

There's a lot of time to go in the round,” the commentator stated, “and Brock has stopped trying to wrestle. Whatever threat that Brock brought to this fight ended with that stand-up!

Pillow came forward once again, landing a three punch combination! And again!

Oh! Brock The Beast is in big trouble!

Indeed; Brock covered up with his back against the cage and Pillow Hands battered him with lefts and rights, uppercuts and hooks! It was beginning to be reminiscent of Chuck Liddell versus Tito Ortiz!

Brock is hurt,” the commentator screamed as Brock was rocked badly by a two-punch combination!

Pillow cracked him with a left hook to the body, followed by a left hook to the temple! Brock went down under the weight of the punches, and Pillow Hands swarmed on him! The referee finally stepped in to stop the assault, as Brock's pale, skinny, former pet shop employee of a wife timidly screamed for them to stop the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen the referee has called a stop to this contest at four minutes and five seconds of the first round, declaring the winner by T-K-O: Pillow “Knocking Out” Hands!”

As Pillow Hands got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: You sucked at WWE, now you came to suck on the octagon? Do something useful and kill yourself, Reigns, my bitch.'

(Middleweight Division) Shouma Nishida versus Yang Lei

Round 1 – Yang Lei, the freestyle fighter, scored an immediate takedown into half guard and immediately went to work, controlling the inexperienced grappler, and allowing his experience to take him to victory.

Shouma Nishida struggled to get back to his feet, but left himself open; Lei immediately mounted him and went to work with ground and pound! Lei attempted a pair of submissions, but his lack of a Jiu-Jitsu experience kept this from happening.

Nishida just couldn't get out of that mount! Lei went back to work with ground and pound, putting a hellish beating on the former kick boxing standout. For some reason that is beyond me, Yang Lei stood up from this position of dominance, and Nishida capitalized on the mistake, landing punches!

Realizing his mistake, Yang Lei immediately scored another takedown into guard. Nishida attempted to explode to his feet, and Lei returned once more to half guard. As Lei worked to advance back into mount, Nishida reverses and takes half guard on top!

A wild scramble ensued, and Nishida took Lei's back! Lei attempted to roll, but Nishida stayed on his back like glue, even as the two rolled over. Nishida was laying on his back, with Lei on top of him- Nishida had both hooks in. Nishida looked to be thinking about a rear choke, but was unsure of how to apply it.

Yang Lei sensed his hesitation and turned into Nishida, finding himself in guard on top! Shouma Nishida tried to escape once more, and Lei almost locked in an awkward guillotine choke, nullifying the attempt. Yang Lei postured up in guard and started working brutal ground and pound, hammering Nishida! After a dozen unanswered blows landed, the referee stopped the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at two minutes and fifty-eight seconds of the opening round, declaring the winner by T-K-O: Yang Lei!”

[Main Card]

(Welterweight Division) Helder Dias versus Jon Snitch

[FIGHT CANCELLED]

Errors were made; Helder Dias was never going to make welterweight.

(Light-heavyweight Division) Princess Penny versus Alexander Taran

Round 1 – Alexander Taran came out swinging, throwing combinations that were hitting nothing but air. Princess Penny stayed true to his footwork, pumping out the jab like he was getting paid to do it. Taran came in, looking to clinch, and Penny tagged him with a right hand! Then, Penny got a bit overzealous, missed a left hook, and ate a one-two combination from Taran.

Alexander Taran came in low and ran straight into an uppercut from Penny that sent him crumbling to the floor! A badly rocked Alexander staggered to his feet, and pushed forward, looking to clinch. After eating a half-hearted left hand, Alexander threw a head kick that missed by a mile, and Penny tagged him with a big right hand, sending him spiraling to the floor once again!

Taran climbed to his feet and attempted a body kick with nothing on it. Taran has some heart, though, and he seemed to recover right away. Penny tagged him with another right hand! This time Taran didn't go down, but Penny stayed on him, landing uppercut after uppercut! Taran went down and the referee jumped in to stop the fight!

The referee has called a stop to this contest at one minute thirty-three seconds of the very round round, declaring the winner by TKO: Princess Penny!”

During his post-fight speech, Princess Penny gave a speech about how wonderful his fans are.

(Welterweight Division) Mladen Tomasevic versus Jonath Masvidal

Round 1 – Number one Bravado Welterweight Mladen Tomasevic entered the ring to thunderous applause; the Las Vegas crowd readily showed appreciation to the only man to stop Jon Snitch in professional combat. Jonath Masvidal walked out to a good deal of reception as well; his exploits in England were obviously known to more than a few in the crowd.

After a touch of gloves, this welterweight fight was under way! Immediately Masvidal came out and clinched; he clearly didn't want to get into a kick boxing bout in this fight, and instead opted to grapple against the cage. Masvidal connected with an uppercut... and another uppercut! After taking a breather, Masvidal was starting to land power punches seemingly at will. Tomasevic attempted to fire back but was clearly out matched in the clinch.

Masvidal connected with knees to the midsection, and Tomasevic immediately moved to protect his body. He tried to tie up Masvidal, stalling for time; Jonath Masvidal immediately landed flush with a knee to the chin of Mladen Tomasevic!

Oh! Tomasevic is hurt,” the commentator screamed.

Tomasevic tried to create distance to land punches, but Masvidal tied him up, pushed him against the cage, and landed another knee! Tomasevic turned to protect himself from the knees, and Masvidal landed a monster uppercut! Tomasevic went down, and Masvidal started landing right hand after right hand! Tomasevic collapsed under the barrage and the referee jumped in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at one minute and fifty-seven seconds of round number one, declaring the winner by T-K-O: Jonath “The Truth” Masvidal!”

This fight is the co-main event of the evening. Sponsored by Kore Fight Nutrition! Introducing first... fighting out of the RED corner... this man is a Muay Thai fighter with a professional record of three wins with two losses; standing six-foot-one and weighing in at one hundred and seventy pounds; fighting out of General Santos City in the Philippines: Manny “PACMAN” Pacquaio!

...fighting out of the BLUE color... this man is a Greco-Roman wrestler with a professional record of four wins and three losses; standing five feet and ten inches tall, and weighing in at one hundred and seventy pounds; fighting out of the United Kingdom; the former two-time Rumble On The Rock title challenger: James Kicker!

(Welterweight Division) Manny Pacquaio versus James Kicker

Round 1 – Manny immediately tried to clinch up against the Greco stylist; Kicker moved away and pumped out a jab to keep the Thai boxer at bay. Manny pushed forward and drove Kicker against the cage, and The Brit immediately responded by going for a single leg takedown. Neither man is really known for his ground game, so it would be interesting to see if Kicker could assert himself there. For the time being, Pacman kept the fight standing, as he begins going to work with and uppercut to the body and one to the head as well, a la Mike Tyson.

Despite being a strong clinch fighter, Kicker seemed to be more interested in scoring a takedown instead of going blow-for-blow. Although he landed a few punches throughout the round, James Kicker mostly stuck to his game plan of going for that single leg; Pacquaio kept the fight upright and in the clinch, and dominated with his dirty boxing.

Round 2 – This round started a bit more tentative, with both men working the jab from a distance. Pacman took a jab to the kisser and immediately started looking to clinch once more. Kicker seemed content to trade punches in the center of the ring, and even cracked him with a few nice counter-punches.

Pacquaio began to show that he is a bit of a novice in the boxes exchanges on display in this round. Two minutes in, Pacquaio managed to clinch and immediately went to work with his dirty boxing again; this was the position that Pacquaio truly shined in. The longer that this round dragged on, James Kicker's output rate diminished greatly, with him trying to go for that desperate single leg here and there, but otherwise just having a beating laid on him.

Round 3 – James Kicker attempted maybe two or three punches for the first forty-five seconds of this round, and Manny Pacquaio was just putting a hellish beating on him, landing punches from all angles. About a minute in, Pacman clinched once more and went to work with the dirty boxing, landing to the head and body at will.

For some odd reason, Pacquaio pulled guard three minutes into this round... I really, genuinely have no idea why. Kicker, finally in the position that he so desired, was too exhausted to pull anything off, and just laid in guard until the referee stood them back up. Both men were swinging wildly as the fight came to a close, with Pacquaio landing the cleaner shots.

Ladies and gentlemen, after three rounds of action we go to the judge's scorecards for a decision. All three judges score this bout for the winner by unanimous decision: Manny “Pacman” Pacquaio!”

...this is the main event of the evening! This bout is brought to you by Kore Fight Nutrition and Bet-X [TG].

Introducing first: fighting out of the RED corner... this man is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighter with a professional record of eleven wins and four losses. Standing six feet, one inch tall, and weighing in at one hundred and seventy pounds. Fighting out of Las Vegas, Nevada, by way of St. Louis, Missouri: Lucio “Deathrow” Gracie!

...fighting out of the BLUE corner... this man is a striker with a professional record of eleven wins and three losses. Standing five feet, eight inches tall, and weighing in at one hundred and seventy pounds. Fighting out of Las Vegas, Nevada, by way of Jerusalem, Israel: Hyman “Krusty” Krustofski!”

(Welterweight Division) Lucio Gracie versus Hyman Krustofski

Round 1 – There was absolutely no love lost between these two warriors when this fight was announced. When it was realized that they had both found their way to the Bravado roster, Hyman immediately called for a rematch against Lucio; the two had fought once before, during the final tournament of The Island's fifth and most recent season, with Gracie taking home the win in that meeting.

During the pre-fight introductions, both men were absolutely intent on an aggressive mutual stare-down. The referee gave them their instructions, followed by the opportunity to touch gloves... but both men turned and walked back to their corner without even considering such an act.

Krustofski darted across the cage the moment the ref told them to “fight!”, and landed a huge left hook to the body of Gracie. For his part, Gracie attempted to fire back with a right hand, but “Krusty” was well out of range before the punch came close. Krustofski threw a half-hearted body shot but pulled away before it could land.

A big show of mutual respect as neither man was willing to make the next move and leave himself open to a possible counter; Gracie finally darted forward, pressing Krustofski against the cage. After a lull in the action, Krusty attempted an uppercut but Gracie avoided it. Out of nowhere, Lucio Gracie pulled guard! Krustofski knew that he needed none of this position.

Lucio Gracie was working the high guard, threatening with a triangle choke immediately. Krustofski fought the choke for a moment, but Gracie, the wily submission fighter, managed to lock it in, anyways, and forced the tap. As an over-enthusiastic commentator that is addicted to Adderall might say: Just. Like. That.

Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at one minute and thirty-two seconds of the very first round, declaring the winner by TAP OUT due to a triangle choke: Lucio “Deathrow” Gracie!”

Post fight, Lucio Gracie stared into the camera and said 'I am used to bitches laying down for me!'.

In defeat, Hyman Krustofski stepped up to the mic, saying 'I hate grapplers. Who wants to roll on the mat with sweaty boys? Fags, thats it.'.

After Action Report

H. F. Whisperer walked to the podium in a white t-shirt with sweat stains under the pits, basketball shorts, and a red "make America great" baseball cap.

H.F. Whisperer: For the second time in a row, we have completely sold out The Underground arena. We keep lowering our advertising expenditures, but the crowd continues to fill the venue to capacity. This was, by far, our highest earning event to date. As for awards, we've given knockout of the night to Jonath Masvidal. Any questions?

The bewildered twelve media members in attendance stood in silence, taking in the appearance of the unhygienic man before them, until the Bravado Productions owner asked for the third time for questions.

Media: Why was Helder Dias contracted to fight at 170, when he is clearly supposed to be fighting at middleweight?

Whisperer: A clerical error on the part of Loretta; Dias was supposed to be contracted at middleweight, but our matchmaker doesn't sleep enough at night, and didn't catch the issue until it was too late. Both Dias and Snitch were paid their 'show' money, and Dias has been moved up to middleweight where he belongs.

For all of those new hires that we have been bringing in, this is a big reminder that we make mistakes as well; when we send you an offer, read the finer details to make sure that we're sending you an offer for the correct weight division. As devastated as I was to see that fight not go down, a no contest will be on the permanent record of Helder Dias for the remainder of his career, and it could have been avoided.

Look, I fully take the blame on this one, although I don't know for sure if I was the one that sent the initial contract offer, or not. However, a contract negotiation is a two-way street... we send you an offer, but you need to confirm that the details are accurate.

Media: What did you think of the Masvidal/Tomasevic fight?

Whisperer: We knew that Masvidal was going to be a tough fight for Tomasevic, but I never expected the actual fight to be so one-sided. It was Masvidal's night for sure.

Media: What's next for Jonath Masvidal?

Whisperer: We're matching him up with Pacquaio to compete for the vacant welterweight championship of the world. Pacquaio's manager has been out of action for the past two days, so we're simply waiting for confirmation that they want the fight before going forward with it.

If they don't take it, we will likely go with Gracie, if he wants the shot, or potentially put the title on hold in the interim.

Media: Rumor has it that you have other championship fights in mind as well.

Whisperer: Indeed. We're eyeing Inferno Pandaa taking on the winner of Reuben Kincaid and Marcus Browne. Whoever takes that fight will be presented with this opportunity. Meanwhile, the super-heavyweight tournament is set to begin on August 21st, and will culminate in a championship fight in that weight division.

Okay, before I wrap this up, I want to announce two things... number one: we will be opening up the lightweight division at long last. Several of you have asked about it, and now it's being realized. Effective immediately, we are recruiting 155 lbers.

Number two: for all of you newer managers out there, you can come to Mr. Kaku or myself ANY TIME for advice. We're running this show with the intention of helping out as many people as we can along the way. We don't want a roster full of fighters that don't know how or where to train properly; we don't want a roster full of managers that don't know how to set a proper game plan for a given situation. We want everyone under contract with Bravado to be the best that they can be. Contact Michio Kaku or myself any time and we will give you more information than you can probably read in one sitting.

Okay, on to the top ten rankings!

The final thing that I want to mention is that Bravado Productions does not condone multiple account users. This is against the rules of the game, and it ruins the experience for everybody else. We were forced to release a fighter today due to the poor decisions of his manager. This fighter had been under contract for less than thirty minutes before the issue was brought to my attention.

Mamas, don't let your kids grow up to be multies.

Figured since we're encouraged to post fluff and stuff, I'll repost the fighter profile I put to the Tycoon times, except now I fixed the damn typos I made. I thought it was funny anyway when I wrote it at 3 in the morning under the influence of a poorly thought out rum/lemonade mixer. Was sort of a pisstake at all those fake retirements we always keep hearing about IRL.

Rookie Fighter Announces Retirement Several Years Early

In what has turned into perhaps the most baffling announcement in MMA history, rookie fighter Richard Kenvinchen has officially announced his desire to retire "in several years, perhaps after I lose a big title fight or something similar". While this reporter is no stranger to fighters announcing their retirement in advance, this is perhaps the first time it has been done so far before the actual date. Further reports are that in the night preceding this event, Mr. Kenvinchen was seen heading out of a local New York bar, loudly proclaiming his intention to fight what witnesses claim was a fictional character on a nearby billboard.

When contacted over the telephone for a statement, the fighter's manager, Mr. UaToirneach, simply sighed loudly. Continuing the conversation, he assured us that Mr. Kenvinchen has a long career ahead of him, and that this is merely a publicity stunt by him. However, afterwards we believe we heard a noise similar to sobbing and cursing in the background, and while most was unintelligible, we were able to pick out the statement "always something with this kid". While we can only speculate as to what this means, it may be that this is not the first odd action by this fighter.

We also reached out to teammate Lenny Oliver, who insisted that Mr. Kencinchen is a reliable teammate, and that the persistant rumors of erratic behavior are greatly exaggerated, and he's sure his teammate will be prepared for whatever actual fighter is next offered to him.

Bravado 5: Kincaid vs Browne – Official Review

http://www.mmatycoon.com/buzz/uploads/1470632761b5.png

Before I get started with this event review, I want to apologize to the Bravado Productions managers that wanted to read about their fighter. I had a full length preview typed out and ready to go, but I didn't save the stupid thing, so when my computer crashed, I lost it all. Open Office, evidently, didn't save my progress, effectively eating a day's worth of writing. I started rushing to retype it all from memory, but had to take care of some external affairs, and ran out of time. So, like an abusive boyfriend, I ask your forgiveness with the promise that it won't happen again, baby, you know how I get.

[The Prelims]

(Light-heavyweight Division) Darius Miles versus Dewo Banget

Round 1 – Darius Miles opened with a slap to the face of Dew Banget; the two fighters traded leg kicks before Miles clinched with Banget up against the cage. As Banget attempted to force a takedown with his back to the fence, Miles went to work with dirty boxing, snapping the head back of Banget on multiple occasions.

After breaking from the clinch, Miles landed a few kicks before clinching once more. For the next several minutes, Darius Miles dominated from inside the clinch, but would circle away and work some kick boxing in before clinching once more. At around the four minute mark, Miles cracked Banget with a head kick that dropped him, but the resilient Dewo Banget survived the round.

Round 2 – The first minute and a half of this round was a repeat of the opening five minutes; Darius Miles had a clear advantage in pure striking, but also dominated from inside the clinch, as well. About a minute and a half in, Dewo Banget finally secured the takedown that he so desperately needed to get back into this fight, but Miles immediately popped up and got back to his feet with ease.

Disheartened, Dewo Banget began to succumb to the punishment of his opponent, and Darius Miles picked up the pace, sensing that the end was near. Just as Banget seemed to finally be getting some spring back into his steps, and appeared to have recovered from the knockdown earlier, Darius Miles nailed him with a monster uppercut that sent him tumbling to the mat. As soon as Banget got back to his feet, Miles rushed forward with a series of hard punches, trapping the brown belt against the cage! Dewo Banget crumpled to the floor, and simply covered up until the referee stepped in to stop the fight.

Our analyst stated, “Out of four fights, this is the third career win via TKO for Darius Miles.

And our color commenter responded, “I'm blown away by the performance of Darius Miles. When you see a guy get dominated like he did against Brandon Stark, there are a lot of questions about if he will ever be the same... Darius Miles looked more dominant tonight than he has in all of his past fights.

Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at two minutes and thirty two seconds of round number two, declaring the winner by T-K-O: Darius “Nasty” Miles!”

Darius Miles decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

(Middleweight Division) Shuta Kurota versus CJ Saaim

Round 1 – Shuta Kurota clinched with CJ Saaim right off the bat and immediately went to work with brutal knees to the midsection of Saaim, only occasionally switching to head shots, cracking him over and over! CJ Saaim appeared to be hurt to the body, but he stayed in there, taking punishment! At around the 2:50 mark, Kurota broke the clinch and went to work with strikes, cracking Saaim ever which way.

Then, Kurota made the decision that would cost him the fight: he shot in for a takedown, landing in guard on top of CJ Saaim. The wily submission fighter reversed to the top position, and became very active in guard. Saaim attempted an arm triangle but resolved to simply hold on and recover for the remainder of the round.

Our color commenter shouted, “that was a huge mistake from Shuta Kurota; he was winnin this round in dominant fashion, but opted to go for a takedown to further secure the round. Hopefully his corner will have some words with him between rounds and tell him to keep this fight standing.

Round 2 – Shuta Kurota seemed more than content to remain on the outside, peppering Saaim with brutal kicks to the head and body. One minute in, Kurota forced another clinch, and went to work with more brutal shots to the purple and red rib cage of CJ Saaim, who winced with every shot.

CJ Saaim is a veteran, however; despite being hurt and exhausted, he siezed the perfect opportunity, securing a big takedown into guard on top! After taking a quick breather, Saaim passed to half guard and then side control with the ease of a man that has been there nearly a dozen times already. From side control, CJ Saaim started cranking on the arm of Shuta Kurota, working on a tight Americana! Kurota had no idea how to combat the submission, and immediately tapped out!

Our analyst stated, This is the forth submission victory for CJ Saaim, who has come in and won his Bravado debut in style.

And our color commenter responded, “This is a big, big win for CJ Saaim! He came in, took a hellacious beating, but had enough experience in tough fights to know how to pull through. Muhammad Ali was once famously quoted as saying that it takes a man that has been defeated, has been knocked out, to know how to pull himself out of a tough spot. CJ Saaim was losing this fight handily, but he came back at the end of the second round and stole the show!

"Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at three minutes and twenty five seconds of round number two, declaring the winner by TAP OUT due to an Americana: CJ Saaim!"

[undercard Bouts]

(Welterweight Division) Chris Lovelair versus Flatbush Diaz

Round 1 – Following his auspicious promotional debut at Bravado 1, Flatbush Diaz earned a certain amount of respect and notoriety among the Bravado fan base. He entered this fight as a crowd favorite against the experienced Chris Lovelair.

Diaz opened with a punching combination, but Lovelair easily avoided the shots. Lovelair responded with a combination of his own, but Flatbush was well out of range. Lovelair moved into the clinch, driving Diaz against the cage, and bashing him with a knee to the face, drawing first blood.

Chris Lovelair started going to work with knees to the body and head, visibly hurting Diaz to the body before cracking him with another knee to the face, widening the cut over his eye. Diaz had no answers for this clinch assault- he was getting rag dolled from this position! Lovelair pushed the pace, rocking Diaz with a big punch to the face! Lovelair didn't give him any time to recover, hammering him with punches and knees against the cage until the referee finally jumped in to stop the fight! Diaz's corner screamed early stoppage, but that fight was over.

Our analyst stated, With this victory, Chris Lovelair has rebounded from his defeat at the hands of Kintarou Ooe in the Island Season 5 finale tournament.

And our color commenter responded, “Chris Lovelair is a savage in the clinch, although he has an underrated kicking game as well. Flatbush Diaz was just pushed too quickly into this level of competition- he needs more time to improve his game, but he will be back. At eighteen years old, the sky is the limit for “Zombie” Diaz.

Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at one minute forty-seven seconds of the very first round, declaring the winner by T-K-O: Chris Lovelair!”

(Light-heavyweight Division) Poohpoo Schrohtums versus Brandon Stark

Round 1 – Both of these fighters came into this bout with a wrestling background; Schrohtums was the ground and pound stylist, while Stark was a Greco-Roman practitioner. Schrohtums opened with a telegraphed takedown attempt, which Stark easily stuffed, followed by another ill-advised shoot from across the ring. As Schrohtums clambered to his feet, Brandon Stark tagged him with a looping left hand before dancing out of range again.

Schrohtums shot in for another takedown and this time, Stark cracked him with a counter-right that backed the collegiate wrestler up. After flopping another pair of double leg attempts, Schrohtums ran right into another counter-right from Stark, who was beginning to find his range just thirty seconds into this round. Stark even landed a leg kick before cracking Schrohtums with another right hand, opening a cut on the man's face.

As Schrohtums came into range, looking to dive in for another takedown, Brandon tagged him with a right hook on the side of the head! Schrohtums went down, but paid with his guard open, inviting Stark in. Brandon opted to wave his opponent back to his feet; when Schrohtums stood once more, Stark landed an overhand right reminiscent of Roy Nelson! Schrohtums (Oh, Jesus Christ, I just read that name out loud to myself for the first time. Really, man?) Schrohtums sagged to the floor and Stark cracked him with another right hand, although he unconscious!

Our analyst stated, With this win, Brandon Stark becomes the first man in Bravado Productions history to win two consecutive bouts. He is currently in the lead as far as winning streaks are concerned!

And our color commenter responded, “Yeah, and that opens up a whole new world as the title picture becomes more and more clear. They've established top contenders at super-heavyweight, welterweight, and middleweight. The light-heavyweight division is still a no-man's land, where anybody can rise up and claim the gold.

Ladies and gentlemen, our referee has called a stop to this contest at forty-seven seconds of the very first round, declaring the winner by KNOCK OUT: Brandon “The 100th Of His Name” Stark!”

(Light-heavyweight Division) Daniel St Cormier versus Jam Suckletooth

Round 1 – Daniel St Cormier opened with a beautiful double leg takedown straight into side control! Jam Suckletooth, always hard to control on the ground, immediately went to work, looking to create space and escape the position. Meanwhile, DST went to work with short range ground and pound, scoring points from the top.

Mixing moments of lay n pray with ground and pound, DST maintained the side control until Suckletooth managed to get back to his feet nearly two minutes into the round. St Cormier tagged Suckletooth with a pair of jabs; he went to throw another left hand, and ducked under the hands of Suckletooth, scoring a double leg takedown into guard!

In a much more advantageous position, Jam Suckletooth maintained wrist control, as he struggled to nullify the ground and pound. As Suckletooth began working for an armbar, the battle to control the left arm of DST ensued, and the minutes rolled by without much happening. Finally, the referee stood the fighters up.

Suckletooth flopped a takedown attempt and ate a right hand for his efforts. With some blood pouring down the left side of his face, Suckletooth shot in for a double leg, landing in the guard of St Cormier. In guard on top, Jam Suckletooth took a big, deep breath and mostly controlled until the end of the round.

Round 2 – After eating a jab, Suckletooth scored another takedown into guard, but St Cormier popped right back up to his feet. Suckletooth took an extra few seconds to get to his feet as the referee screamed at him to rise. Suckletooth took another deep breath, and DST pushed forward with an uppercut! One, two, three, Daniel St Cormier was throwing punches in bunches! Suckletooth was sparsely firing back, and never landing in retaliation!

Daniel St Cormier began bouncing on the balls of his feet, and cracking Suckletooth with crisp boxing combinations! Right hand, left hook! Suckletooth shot in for a desperation takedown and ran face first into a right hand counter from DST!

Our color commenter screamed,Oh! He's rocked! Jam Suckletooth is hurt!

St Cormier landed a right-left combination and Suckletooth was out on his feet, being held up by the cage at this point! DST poured on more punches against the helpless Jam Suckletooth, and the referee finally jumped in, after “The Saw” ate a few unnecessary punches at the end.

Our color commenter screamed, “Big, big win for Daniel St Cormier!

Our analyst said, Daniel St Cormier remains undefeated in his Bravado Productions debut!

The color commenter responded, “Jam Suckletooth is no joke, so for Cormier to come out and look as dominant as he did tonight just shows how much potential this young man has.

Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at two minutes and thirty-four seconds of the second round, declaring the winner by T-K-O: Daniel St Cormier!”

Our winner, Daniel St Cormier, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

[Main Card]

(Middleweight Division) Brian Conrad versus Adam Holt

Round 1 – Both men walked out to the generic 80s rock music that Bravado provides to fighters that don't wish to have a unique walkout. Adam Holt, who was defeated by Marcus Browne at Bravado Productions 1, received a warm reception. On the in-house television screen, highlights of his brawl against Browne played, to the approval of the audience.

Holt opened with a jab to the body, followed by a one-two combination that earned the crowd's reaction. Holt rushed forward with another punching combination, but Conrad darted out of range quickly. After landing with a lead right, Holt connected with a left hook as well.

Brian Conrad shot in, going for his first takedown attempt of the night, and he landed it. From Guard, Conrad was content to control the position for the moment, and Holt began slapping him in the face over and over with his right hand. Conrad rolled for a leg lock! Holt reversed into guard on top and immediately jumped up to his feet!

Holt went to work once more with the boxing, tagging Conrad with nearly every punch that he threw, and Brian Conrad seemed to either be concentrating really hard, or else be completely stumped as to overcome this obstacle. Holt cracked Conrad with a few jabs, and Conrad darted in, clinching with the big man against the cage.

Conrad attempted to throw Holt to the ground, but failed to do so. Holt finally broke free of the clinch and went for a sloppy head kick. Brian Conrad caught the leg and pushed Holt to the ground once more. Holt immediately jumped back to his feet and clinched.

The two men took turns trading who was initiating and breaking the clinch for the next few minutes, with Conrad working feverishly for a takedown that wouldn't come. With three minutes left in the round, Conrad's game plan flew out the window, and he began throwing sloppy punches at the giant Adam Holt, who was happy to oblige him in a boxing match for his ego. 3:50 in, Holt landed a jab followed by a left hook to the body!

Our color commenter jumped up and screamed wildly,He's hurt! Conrad's hurt!

Brian Conrad backed up against the cage, trying to protect himself from the incoming blows, and Holt started mixing it up, cracking him to the face and body at will! Holt pushed the pace, landing more punches against the cage until the referee stopped the fight!

The color commenter stated simply, “Welcome to the top ten, Adam Holt.

Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at four minutes eighteen seconds of the very first round, declaring the winner by T-K-O: Adam “Tower” Holt!”

Adam Holt thanked the fans post fight for their support.

(Middleweight Division) BJ Penn versus Nofurgay Jesus

Round 1 – Nofurgay Jesus walked out to The Alan Parsons Project's song Sirius, while BJ Penn came out to the generic ring music.

After a touch of gloves, this fight got underway, with BJ Penn opening up by trying to clinch right away. Jesus avoided the attempt with ease and stayed on the outside. Penn seemed to be trying nothing but clinch attempts- not even trying to strike at all- and Jesus made him pay with a right hand down the middle.

Penn staggered back from that strike, and Jesus darted in with a double leg takedown into guard. This was big trouble for Penn, who was not known for his wrestling ability. Penn tried to sweep, and Jesus began elbowing him in the face again and again. Jesus postured up and started working heavy ground and pound! Penn seemed to be stunned from a big elbow that cracked him on the temple!

Nofurgay passed into half guard and kept up with his assault, tagging Penn at will! The referee took a good, long look before pulling Jesus off of Penn, stopping the fight!

Our analyst stated, Nofurgay can do it all- punches, wrestling, ground and pound!

And our color commenter responded, “BJ Penn might be one of the best fighter in currently fighting for Bravado Productions that has not secured a victory within two attempts. While that isn't a moniker that you would want attached to your name, it's really a testament to how talented the middleweight division has gotten, that BJ Penn can't secure a win yet.

Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at one minute thirty-five seconds of round number one, declaring the winner by T-K-O: Nofurgay Jesus!”

An out of breath Nofurgay Jesus thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.

(Heavyweight Division) Rancho Wildslap versus Mickey Darmody

Round 1 – Rancho Wildslap walked out to his signature entrance music: the Rawhide theme song. After his successful submission over Teofilo Silva, the fans in attendance were expecting big things from Wildslap in this fight.

Darmody struck first, landing a looping right hand, before missing with a combination of strikes. Wildslap took the opportunity, shoving Darmody to the ground, and landing in guard. Wildslap easily passed into half guard, and seemed content to remain there. Darmody was offering little offense from his back, so the fans began to grow restless. Other than an arm triangle choke that went nowhere, Rancho Wildslap did little with his dominant position, and the fans showed their displeasure through a smattering of boos.

Round 2 – Mickey Darmody opened with a jab that was blocked, and a body kick that was caught. Wildslap pushed Darmody against the cage, still holding the leg. Wildslap held onto that leg, and Darmody bounced on one foot, struggling to remain upright. Wildslap pushed forward, securing the single leg takedown into guard.

Wildslap once again passed effortlessly into half guard before moving into full mount... and then held on for the better part of the round. At around 4:45, the frustration of Darmody cost him his positioning- he pushed to escape, and Wildslap quickly took his back! Darmody went for a rear naked choke with seconds left in the round, but Darmody defended well. Another round goes to Rancho Wildslap.

Round 3 – Darmody opened with a jab and stuffed a double leg attempt from Wildslap. Darmody stuffed another takedown attempt, but was brought to the ground on the third try. Wildslap landed in half guard, where he was once again content to lay and pray for the majority of the round. Wildslap passed into full mount. Finally, with just over a minute left on the clock, Rancho Wildslap took Darmody's back and locked in a rear naked choke.

Unfortunately, our commenters stepped out for a cup of coffee midway through the second round, so their commentary will be missed on this one.

Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at three minutes and fifty-six seconds of the third round, declaring the winner by submission due to a rear naked choke: Rancho “Boogie” Wildslap!”

After winning the bout, Rancho Wildslap thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

[Co-Main Event]

...this is the co-main event of the evening! This fight is brought to you by Bet-X [TG].

Introducing first: Fighting of the RED corner... this man is a boxer with a professional MMA record of eight wins and five losses. Standing six feet, five inches tall, and weighing in at two hundred and ninety-six pounds. Fighting out of Las Vegas, Nevada, by way of Cleveland, Ohio, the number five ranked super-heavyweight fighter, the heavy handed... Droppa Cleveland!

Fighting out of the BLUE corner... this man is a boxer and a Jiu-Jitsu fighter with a record of eight wins and five losses. Standing six feet, four inches tall, and weighing in at two hundred and seventy pounds. Fighting out of Las Vegas, Nevada, by way of St Louis, Missouri: Andrei Gonzales!”

(Super-heavyweight Division) Droppa Cleveland versus Andrei Gonzales

Round 1 – The intensity in the cage is electric as the two big men face off for the first time since the weigh-ins. Andrei Gonzales was adamant throughout all of the pre-fight press material that his well rounded experience makes him a much higher caliber of fighter than Droppa. Droppa has contended that his raw power will be enough to get the win on this occasion.

Gonzales came out swinging, landing a big left hand that snapped back the head of Cleveland, who came rushing forward with a wild sequence of punches; Gonzales did a great job of avoiding the shots, and tying Cleveland up against the cage. Gonzales started working for the single leg takedown, but Cleveland showcased his improved takedown defense in these early goings.

Gonzales landed a short right hand before pushing away from the clinch. Andrei was working the jab, keeping Cleveland at bay, and Cleveland was having a lot of trouble getting inside despite being the rangier fighter. Out of nowhere, Andrei shot in for a double leg takedown, which he secured, landing in half guard. Cleveland notably had a lot of trouble once Hollyfield Gomes took him down- Gomes actually submitted him from inside the guard, rolling for a kneebar.

Gonzales started working short ground and pound, keeping Cleveland from getting comfortable down there. Gonzales seemed to be working for an arm triangle, but Cleveland defended well... Gonzales mounted! Andrei Gonzales postured up from the mounted position and started dropping bombs on Droppa Cleveland, hammering him with punches and elbows! At around the 2:20 mark, Gonzales seemed to rock Cleveland with a shot, and he squeezed on a top side guillotine, which Cleveland defended well.

Gonzales pushed the pace, landing brutal shots from above before going back for that guillotine again! Cleveland rolled, tried to get to his feet, but Gonzales rolled with him and took his back! Andrei Gonzales had both hooks in and was fighting the hands, trying to sneak an arm under the chin of Droppa Cleveland! He got it, and Cleveland immediately tapped out!

Our analyst stated, This is the third submission victory for Andrei Gonzales; this is the second time that Droppa Cleveland has been submitted in his career.

And our color commenter responded, “Yeah, and both of those submission losses have come within Bravado Productions. The way the matchmaking works here is that the owners try to match up strikers against grapplers... a guy like Droppa Cleveland has always gotten along because of his tremendous punching power, but he's now facing serious competition that knows how to wrestle.

Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at three minutes and thirty-five seconds of the opening round, declaring the winner by TAP OUT due to a rear naked choke: Andrei Gonzales!”

[Main Event]

...this is the main event of the evening! This bout is brought to you by Kore Fight Nutrition and Bet-X [TG].

Introducing first, the man standing to my left: fighting out of the RED corner... this man is a Muay Thai fighter with a professional record of six wins and NO losses. Standing six feet, two inches tall, and weighing in at one hundred and eighty-five pounds. Fighting out of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, the number one ranked middleweight fighter: Reuben “Agent Orange” Kincaid!

Introducing the man standing to my right: fighting out of the BLUE corner... this man is a boxer with a professional record of nine wins and two losses. Standing five feet, ten inches tall, and weighing in at one hundred and eighty-five pounds. Fighting out of Las Vegas, Nevada, by way of Chicago, Illinois, the number three ranked middleweight fighter: Marcus Browne!

(Middleweight Division) Reuben Kincaid versus Marcus Browne

Round 1 – The number one Bravado middleweight opened with a slapping leg kick before clinching with Browne against the cage. Browne missed with a monster uppercut, and Kincaid put his upper body wrestling chops fully on display. Kincaid easily controlled Browne against the cage before he started throwing knees to the midsection; Browne was doing a good job of blocking and avoiding most of the shots, and fired back with some uppercuts to the body. Kincaid attempted some more knees, and Browne fired back with a shoulder strike and an uppercut. Kincaid landed a big left hand, then a right hand. Two minutes into the round, the pace of Browne seemed to slow a bit, and the relentless pace of Kincaid seemed to increase if anything.

Kincaid landed a beautiful slicing elbow that opened a cut on the forehead of Browne, and Browne responded with another uppercut. The round came to a close with both fighters landing brutal shots against the cage, although the edge certainly went to Kincaid, who had done some visible damage to the face of Browne.

Round 2 – Kincaid opened with a punching combination that missed and took a jab for his troubles. Kincaid landed a smacking leg kick, and Browne responded with a right hand down the middle, busting the nose of Kincaid a bit. Kincaid appeared to be much more light-footed in this round, bouncing around on the outside with Browne stalking from the center of the cage.

Kincaid attempted four or five consecutive shots, but only landed one or two of them. Kincaid clinched up with Browne, and went to work with more punches and elbows. Kincaid landed a few hard knees to the midsection of Browne, who seemed to be hurt to the body! Browne stopped punching, and Kincaid picked up the pace, sensing the finish was near! Kincaid landed a big elbow that rocked Browne! Marcus Browne has a ton of heart though- we saw it in the Holt fight, and we saw it again here, as Browne quickly recovered his waits and started firing back.

Fatigue quickly took hold of Browne, who was genuinely trying to stay in this fight, but just couldn't match the pace of Kincaid in the clinch. Kincaid created some distance and lande a big left hook that dropped Browne to the floor! Kincaid followed him to the ground, landing in half guard, and started working ground and pound! Kincaid postured up and started landing big elbows, a la Jon Jones! Browne was hurt badly and trying to survive the round, but the referee finally stepped in to stop the fight. Browne protested, briefly, but returned to his corner men with his head down.

Our analyst stated, With this victory, Reuben Kincaid has remained undefeated, and has maintained his rank of being the number one ranked middleweight fighter. Reuben Kincaid will next face Inferno Pandaa for the inaugural Middleweight Championship of the World.

And our color commenter responded, “That's a crazy match-up, man; Inferno Pandaa has some solid Muay Thai skills, and might be better than Kincaid in the clinch. Inferno has dangerous knees from the clinch and great takedown defense as well, but Reuben Kincaid is just a dangerous, dangerous man.

Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at four minutes and twenty-five seconds of the second round, declaring the winner by T-K-O: Reuben “Agent Orange” Kincaid!”

In his victory speech, Reuben Kincaid thanked his sponsor, Namunamu Clothing.

In defeat, Marcus Browne stepped up to the mic, saying 'The outcome was disappointing and frustrating. I apologize to my family, friends, fans and sponsors. I need to get back to the gym and get better, and I expect a much better result the next time I step into the ring.'.

In his professional debut, he submitted Michal Lisner in the QFC arena. Next, Luiz submitted Kulap Kamon at Stomp-a-thon 60. In his most recent bout, Luiz was defeated via unanimous decision when he faced Macbeth at Bravado 1: Raise the Curtain.

(Heavyweight Division) Ernie Balagtas #3 (1-1) (1-0 BP) versus Kenu Urabey (0-0) (n/a)

Ernie Balagtas is currently ranked at #3 in the very shallow Bravado heavyweight division. He is a former amateur boxer that has made a successful run in the sport of mixed martial arts. Ernie made his debut in a QFC Tournament, where he was defeated via narrow split decision. Next, Ernie was signed to Bravado Productions, where he knocked out Tlhogi John midway through the opening round.

Kenu Urabey is an MMA newcomer, representing the Hybrid Fighting Academy. Kenu is a pure striker, with a background in Muay Thai striking. He believes that his skill set should make him a heavy favorite in this fight; time will tell if the fans will come around on this young slugger.

(Welterweight Division) Gary Abusy (0-0) (n/a) versus Phil Cerrone (1-1) (1-0 BP)

Gary Abusy is yet another newcomer to the sport; this world class Muay Thai fighter is expected to make a big splash in his professional MMA debut due to his wealth of experience. Abusy is representing the Wreckshop private training center.

Phil Cerrone is a very well rounded striker; representing The Iron Palace, Phil Cerrone is a heavy favorite coming into this fight. In his MMA debut, Phil was stopped by Doug Funnie at StrikeForce Union #13. Following this loss, he was picked up by Danny Laverty and brought into the Bravado cage, where he knocked out Alistair Sangster at Bravado 2.

(Heavyweight Division) Bob Lewis (2-0) (n/a) versus Capso Hapso #2 (2-0) (1-0 BP)

Bob Lewis is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt from Nekoosa, Wisconsin. Undefeated as a mixed martial artist, Bob Lewis has fought two times in the QFC arena, securing two first round submission victories. Fighting out of the Cozad academy, Bob Lewis will be looking to make a big statement here against the highly touted Hapso.

Capso Hapso is the number two ranked heavyweight; this undefeated mixed martial artist specializes in boxing. Representing Hermann's fight team, Capso Hapso is a heavy favorite coming into this fight.

http://i.imgur.com/L4gs1Zg.jpg

(Super-heavyweight Division, Tournament bout) Hollyfield Gomes #3 (2-2) (1-0 BP) versus Maurice Boon (1-0) (n/a)

Hollyfield Gomes is the number three ranked super-heavyweight. This four fight veteran started his MMA career in the same QFC Tournament as Calvin Jones and Tarton McFukur. After felling Conor Mcgregor with a first round armbar, Hollyfield was out pointed en route to a unanimous decision loss against Calvin Jones.

Hollyfield Gomes was signed to Bravado Productions, where he submitted the highly touted Droppa Cleveland within twenty four seconds via kneebar. Due to a lack of communication, Hollyfield was temporarily released from his contract; he returned to the QFC stage, where he was defeated via unanimous decision by Daniel Robertson.

When it was revealed that Hollyfield would continue fighting as a professional, he was quickly signed back into Bravado Productions, and inserted into this tournament. Despite coming off of a loss on the free market, Hollyfield Gomes maintains his ranking within the Bravado Productions network.

Maurice Boon is the dark horse of the Bravado Productions super-heavyweight championship tournament. As the quietest, and lowest ranked seed in the tournament, Maurice Boon is the man that has been picked by few to rise to the occasion and win the gold. Despite this, he has remained confident in the media, quietly stating that he is just happy to be given the opportunity.

Maurice Boon was born and raised in Porus, Jamaica. Unlike most of his competitors, he doesn't have a true background in martial arts; when asked, his style is simply described as “mixed martial arts”.

In his lone MMA bout, Maurice faced Than Asos, a world class Muay Thai stylist, in the QFC arena. After landing some punches on the feet, Maurice quickly took Asos to the ground and pounded him until the referee stopped the contest.

(Super-heavyweight Division) Jean Ferre (2-0) (n/a) versus Jack Johnson #8 (4-1) (0-1 BP)

Jean Ferre is a newcomer to the Bravado cage. Undefeated across two fights, Ferre has fought exclusively in the QFC arena, knocking out Efren Porter and Broderick Rasmussen in impressive fashion.

Jack Johnson is an Oregon based kick boxer; known affectionately by fans as “Fat Boy”, is one of the larger men to compete on the Bravado roster at 7'3, 300 lbs. Jack Johnson is currently ranked at #8 as a super-heavyweight.

Jack has fought in both boxing and kick boxing throughout his teen years, and was never rocked or stopped during any of these bouts. A four time QFC veteran, Jack Johnson never once went past the first minute of any fight, scoring four lightning fast knockout victories.

After signing with Bravado Productions, he was paired up with Tarton McFukur in what became a hotly contested bout. Both men were very outspoken in the media, talking ample trash to each other on our smack talk thread. In the actual fight, McFukur scored an early takedown and controlled every moment of the fight before ending the bout via submission.

Jack Johnson has been training like a mad man to improve upon his grappling deficiency in preparation for a renewed run for the championship. You know he will be watching the tournament closely, and waiting for the opportunity to secure his revenge against the only man to stop him in his life.

(Middleweight Division) Frank Miller #8 (2-1) (1-0 BP) versus Jed Knight #3 (2-0) (1-0 BP)

Frank Miller, known as “Mental”, is a talented catch wrestler from Canada. Currently ranked at number eight in the middleweight division, Frank Miller is coming off a big win in his Bravado debut.

After fighting his first two bouts within the QFC arena, with mixed results, Frank Miller was signed to Bravado Productions. In his promotional debut, Frank Miller faced Jack Quinn, a talented submission fighter. In their fight, Quinn dominated the opening round, but was completely outclassed in the latter two rounds due to the dominant wrestling of Miller.

Jed Knight is an undefeated mixed martial arts fighter; despite having only fought two times in his career, he currently holds the #3 rank at middleweight.

This heavy handed boxer knocked out Hansov Fyre in his professional debut, which took place in the QFC arena. After being signed by Bravado Productions, Jed was paired up with Jason Dee Penn at Bravado 3. After dominating Penn in the opening round with his wrestling, Jed Knight caught Penn with heavy punches in the second round, knocking him out cold.

(Super-heavyweight Division, Tournament bout) Tarton McFukur #4 (3-1) (1-0 BP) versus Maple Heartoway (3-3) (n/a)

Tarton McFukur, unofficially dubbed as “The Mouth” on fan sites, is an excellent self-promoter that has joined the super-heavyweight division in style. Both Tarton and his management have been frequent contributers to the Bravado Productions smack talk thread. Tarton McFukur is currently ranked as the #4 super-heavyweight fighter.

Tarton made a transition from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu into professional MMA by joining a QFC Tournament; in his pro debut, he dominated Jiu-Jitsu brown bout Jacob Frost. First, McFukur controlled the opening round with superior wrestling before knokcing Frost out in the second round.

Tarton returned to the tournament to face Johnny Blaze, a heavy handed brawler that was coming into the bout off of a nine second stoppage victory. Although Blaze would land heavily in the opening, McFukur would come back with a big takedown, locking on a rear naked choke to stop the fight.

Next, McFukur faced Travis Zero, who would become the only man to defeat him in professional combat; McFukur would score an early takedown and fall into a guillotine choke, removing him from the tournament.

Despite this setback, the Bravado Productions talent scouts were intrigued by McFukur's antics in and out of the cage. Tarton was tapped to compete at Bravado 1, where he took on heavy handed Jack Johnson. Jack Johnson came out aggressive, looking to score an early knockout, but McFukur immediately tied him up and took him to the ground. McFukur worked diligently for the submission before locking in an arm triangle choke to force the tap.

Maple Heartoway is the most polite fighter in the history of the Bravado Productions company; this is to be expected, however, due to where he is from: Maple Heartoway is a proud Canadian citizen, and it shows. Born and raised in a little Canadian town called Moosonee, Ontario, Maple enjoyed long afternoons filled with eating donuts with his pet moose (I didn't make that up). Maple's personality makes him one of the last men on the planet to allow a bad attitude ruin his day; this makes him the perfect foil to the storm of Tarton McFukur.

Maple Heartoway started his MMA career in the QFC arena with back-to-back losses; it was said that he was just too polite to hurt opponents, although he loved the competitiveness of it. His coaches worked diligently to make him as brutal as possible in active competition.

Despite coming off two losses, Heartoway was signed to the VTFC fighting promotion, where he was booked to meet John Bennett at VTFC 3. Maple made short work of Bennett, landing a series of brutal head kicks that knocked the man out cold. In his next two bouts, Heartoway defeated Trey Rines and Tommy New via brutal, brutal head kick.

In his most recent fight, Maple was defeated by Georges Laraque when he ran into a flying knee.

(Light-heavyweight Division) Mikhailu Banister (7-4) (n/a) versus Mikedmondson Edmondson #2 (10-7) (1-0 BP)

Mikhailu Banister is a New York based mixed martial arts fighter and former professional boxer. Known for his thunderous knockout power, Mikhailu has fought primarily in the smaller shows, with only the occasional appearance on the bigger stage.

After an unsuccessful professional debut, Mikhailu started shopping around for new management; he went with one team that secured him an exclusive contract with the Immortals promotion. After winning two of his three bouts with that company, he returned to the QFC stage, falling into a first round submission defeat.

After once again changing management teams, he was promptly submitted once again on the QFC level, bringing his losing streak to three in a row. Although retirement was a possibility, Mikhailu's management convinced him to double down on his efforts; freshly inspired, Mikhailu would go on to win his next five consecutive bouts, all by lightning fast knockout.

On this winning streak, he caught the attention of the Bravado Productions talent scouting team, and was quickly signed to an exclusive contract.

Mikedmondson Edmondson, also known as “Crimson”, is a Polish mixed martial arts fighter currently living in London, England. Known primarily for his Muay Thai, Miked is also an accomplished wrestler.

All of his earliest bouts took place in the QFC arena, where his career was extremely hit-or-miss; Mikedmondson would be the first to admit that he struggled in his formative years as a mixed martial artist. After taking some time away from fighting, changing management teams, and redefining himself as a light-heavyweight, Mikedmondson has gone undefeated across five consecutive fights. In his most recent b out, Mikedmondson defeated Jam Suckletooth via first minute TKO at Bravado 2.

(Super-heavyweight Division) Brutus Beefcake (6-4) (n/a) versus Jerome Bland #1 (8-0) (1-0 BP)

Brutus Beefcake, known as “The Barber”, is a hard nosed catch wrestler from Tampa, Florida. A lifelong grappler, Brutus quickly took to the style of fighting involved in mixed martial arts, where he has flourished; Brutus has held an Island championship title and won multiple 'of the night' awards throughout his career.

Brutus Beefcake began his MMA career on the fifth season of The Island; after signing with the Island FC fight promotion, Brutus signed to fight amateur boxing standout Philippe Leclair. The bout would take place at Island FC 10, on the same card where Hyman Krustofski defeated Thomas Kirkland. After shaking off the first fight jitters, mostly due to the heavy punches of Leclair, Beefcake scored a powerful double leg takedown, landing in guard. Although he threatened a submission, Brutus Beefcake opted to repay the early beating that he had received; he postured up and dropped bombs on the rapidly deteriorating slugger until the referee was forced to stop the bout.

Due to his dominance in the cage, Brutus was paired up with fellow Island FC 10 winner Simbo Klice, who was a fellow catch wrestler. In the opening seconds of the fight, Klice cracked Beefcake with hard counter-right; Beefcake covered up, and Klice clinched with him in the center of the ring before pulling guard- an unexpected and unusual move for a wrestler. This game plan would prove to be fatal for Klice, who found himself trapped beneath the behemoth, Brutus Beefcake; although he was fighting for a triangle choke, Simbo was eating some serious shots in the process, and leaving himself open for further punishment. After rocking Klice with some hard elbows, Beefcake pushed the pace, landing shot after shot, forcing yet another referee to pull him off of a foe.

In his third professional fight, Brutus tasted the bitter, salty load known as defeat when he faced Muay Thai stylist Cam Fowler. Despite having such an insurmountable advantage on the ground, Brutus found himself completely powerless when pushed into a clinch battle with Fowler. Beefcake would survive the round despite being badly hurt, and dropped, before scoring a last second takedown. In the second round, Beefcake would twice more to the power punches of Fowler, and wouldn't get up the final time.

Brutus Beefcake fought twice more within the Island FC promotion, submitting Geremi Njitap and pounding out Rudy Mar Binay to claim the undisputed super-heavyweight championship. Dropping back down to heavyweight, Brutus signed with Highland Island, where he submitted Ilmari Kuusi with an early armbar.

Although he was stopped by Val Halla in his next fight, Brutus challenged Island legend Alfonso Cabral for the super-heavyweight championship; Brutus was defeated very late in the fourth round in what would be his final fight on The Island.

The Barber was invited to compete in the finale tournament; his first tier opponent was Mr Blood, a fellow wrestler from Highland Island. The opening minute of this fight actually started as a boxing match, with neither man committing to a takedown attempt. However, at around the 1:35 mark, Brutus scored a counter takedown into side control. Posturing up, Brutus Beefcake poured on elbow strikes until the ringside doctor stopped the fight due to the very many lacerations on the face of Mr Blood (not at all ironic).

In his most recent bout, which took place in the second tier of the finale tournament, Brutus Beefcake faced Iconic Fuhkup, a strong kick boxer. Fuhkup would score an early head kick knockdown and keep the pressure on Beefcake before stopping him with a right hand on the button.

Jerome Bland is an undefeated mixed martial arts fighter that specializes in boxing. This hulking slugger has fought his entire career in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the super-heavyweight division. During his brief tenure with the ill fated Sovereignty promotion, Bland claimed the super-heavyweight championship with a lightning fast stoppage over Wong Lee. A consistent front runner, no Jerome Bland fight has left the opening round.

Within Bravado Productions, Jerome Bland scored a lightning fast knockout over Jimmy Valmer to become the number one ranked super-heavyweight fighter.

Jerome Bland fought all of his early fights within the QFC arena, knocking out Rick Moss with a five second Superman punch. After running through Kevin Cratom, Bland faced heavy handed slugger Deeproot Strongbranch for the first of two times, stopping him at the 1:55 mark of the opening round. After scoring another five second knockout, this time over Leon Mihkail, Bland once again smashed Strongbranch; this time at the 1:20 mark.

The second Strongbranch fight would be the final appearance in the QFC for Jerome Bland, who was signed to Sovereignty- the home of unnecessary rematches. In his promotional debut, Bland squared off against former kick boxing prospect Wong Lee. Bland opened the fight with shots to the body before dropping Lee with a left hook, and finishing with his panted Superman punch.

Sovereignty loved their rematches, so Bland vs Lee II was booked for the inaugural super-heavyweight championship. In their second meeting, Bland opened with a body shot before clinching; Lee survived much longer this time, and even landed some shots of his own, but ultimately fell to the immense power of Jerome Bland.

When Sovereignty closed, the Bravado Productions scouting staff quickly opened negotiations with Bland's camp to secure the super-heavyweight champion; Bravado was far from a sure thing, having only booked one event to the company's history, but Bland quickly accepted the contract. With Bravado's promotion machine behind him, Bland was paired up with Underground MMA superstar and former collegiate wrestler Jimmy Valmer. The match was billed as an old school style-versus-style clash; the fans were divided on who they believed would bring home the victory, although the majority placed their money on the takedown artist to bring home the victory.

In the fight, Bland opened with his typical power shots to the body, and Valmer scored a lightning fast power double into side control. For whatever reason, Valmer opted to stand once more- a mistake that would cost him the fight. Bland cracked Valmer with a big right hand and followed it up with a left hook that put the wrestler out cold.

OPEN WEIGH-IN: Super-heavyweight Tournament

The Announcer screamed into his microphone, “ Welcome to the very first Bravado Productions open weigh-in. Tonight, we will have four super-heavyweight fighters step on the scale and face off for the first time.

First up on the scale will be Maurice A Wailer's Worst Nightmare” Boon!

[Maurice Boon walked out and quickly disrobed, taking to the scale.]

The Announcer went to work, “three hundred pounds on the dot for Mr. Boon!

[Maurice Boon stared blankly into the cameras, put on his shorts, and stood on the right side of the stage, awaiting his opponent.]

The Announcer said, Next up on the scale will be the number three ranked super-heavyweight fighter: Hollyfield Gomes.

[Hollyfield Gomes walked out to the stage, pointing to the crowd and nodding his head. After taking off his shirt, he stood on the scale.]

The Announcer read off his weight, Two-eighty-two for Mr. Gomes!

[Hollyfield Gomes flexed for a moment before walking over and squaring off with Maurice Boon. Both men cast their eyes to the chest of the other with their fists raised. After the staredown, Hollyfield offered to shake hands, and Maurice obliged him before exiting the stage.]

http://i.imgur.com/rOG2Kso.jpg

The Announcer yelled out, Next up on the scale will be Maple “Aboot” Heartoway!

[Maple Heartoway walked out to the stage wearing a shirt reading “I Heart Canada”, except instead of a heart, it was a maple leaf. After shedding his clothes, a chiseled Maple Heartoway took to the scale with a giant smile on his face.]

The Announcer stated, “Two seventy-five for Mr. Heartoway!

[Maple Heartoway shook every hand on his way across the stage and waved to the crowd once he got to his destination. Even as McFukur made his entrance a few minutes later, Heartoway was shadow boxing, showing off for the fans.]

The Announcer yelled, “Aaaaand his opponent... the number four ranked super-heavyweight fighter: Tarton McFukur!

[Tarton McFukur came out to the stage wearing Rayban sunglasses, as well as his fighting attire. He took off his shirt and shorts before taking to the scale with a big smile on his face.]

The Announcer read off the weight, Two hundred and ninety-four pounds for McFukur!

[McFukur walked across the stage in only his boxers, squaring off with Heartoway. Maple smiled and put up his fists, in a playful manner, and McFukur gave him a quizzical look before shoving him back. Security jumped between the two men, expecting a brawl, but Heartoway just laughed and made a playful shove at the air. McFukur pointed at him, yelling, attempting to rile up the blank Canadian, but nothing seemed to phase him.]

In my last post before the Bravado 6 review is posted (god willing), I would like to announce that Bravado Productions heavyweight Mark Wahlberg is on the free agent market and is looking for new management to guide him through his mixed martial arts career. M

Mark competed on Season 5 of The Island; he was a regular face in the Island FC and Highland Island promotions. He also advanced into the semi-final round of the final tournament.

This fighter could be a fantastic addition to the roster of a young manager that would enjoy the payday that comes along with a fighter at this level.

(Middleweight Division) Kor Jameson versus Luiz Gustavo

Round 1 Kor Jameson opened with a looping left hand, connected with a few shots to the body, and then stuffed a takedown attempt from the Jiu-Jitsu practitioner. Gustavo got to his feet, and Jameson bull rushed him into the cage. For the next few minutes, Jameson pressed Gustavo against the cage, nailing him with brutal shots to the head and body. Every time they would separate, Jameson would dive back on him like glue, clinching him up.

Late in the round, Gustavo scored a beautiful takedown into guard, and for the first time it was Gustavo landing punches from the top position... too little, too late, however; Jameson dominated this round.

Round 2 – This round was as lopsided as they come; Kor Jameson dominated Gustavo at a distance and against the cage. Gustavo relegated himself to simply hoping for another takedown, but Jameson had adjusted his timing after his mistake in the first round; he had no intention of going down again.

Round 3 – We saw more of the same from Kor Jameson, who dominated every aspect of the fight in this round. The judges were unanimous: rounds two and three were 10-8 rounds for Jameson.

Our analyst stated, Kor Jameson makes his professional debut in style!

And our color commenter responded, “Look, Luiz is tough as hell, but sometimes toughness isn't enough. In two appearances he has lost lopsided decisions to strikers; he's very young, and very durable, but my reports indicate that he still isn't even in training... something has to change.

Ladies and gentlemen, after three rounds we go to the judges scorecards for a decision. All three judges score the bout 30-25 for the winner by unanimous decision: Kor Jameson!”

(Heavyweight Division) Ernie Balagtas versus Kenu Urabey

Round 1 Ernie Balagtas came out with a hard jab, and attempted some wild punches that didn't land. Kenu Urabey was looking to clinch in these early seconds of the round, and Balagtas was looking to end the fight with one big punch. Urabey landed a nice one-two combination that opened a cut on the face of Balagtas, and was still looking to clinch as quickly as possible, but Balagtas was keeping his distance.

At around the 1:30 mark, Balagtas cracked Urabey with a jab that seemed to bust open his nose a bit. Urabey came in, looking to clinch once more, and Balagtas cracked him with a three punch combination! Urabey climbed to his feet, but was on rubbery legs! Urabey took a big, deep breath! Balagtas pushed forward with a looping left hook that put Urabey down and out!

Our analyst stated, With this victory, Ernie Balagtas is now 2-0 in the Bravado cage!

And our color commenter responded, “Yeah, and now Kenu Urabey is in a real tough position; the matchmaking process generally puts these guys against their opposite style. Obviously, the matchmaker was thinking that Urabey would find more success with his clinchwork... but, normally Urabey would have faced a ground fighter, and I don't think he would have fared any better in that scenario.

Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at one minute fifty-two seconds of the very first round, declaring the winner by KNOCK OUT: Ernie Balagtas!”

(Welterweight Division) Gary Abusy versus Phil Cerrone

Round 1 Gary Abusy opened with some wild strikes, looking for head and body shots at a distance, but Cerrone stayed poised, avoiding the shots. Cerrone shot for a takedown out of the blue, but Abusy stuffed it. Abusy landed a jab on the button, and Cerrone cracked him with a right hand that bonked the nose of Abusy. Gary Abusy had some blood trickling out of his nose thirty seconds in.

Cerrone landed a left hook and an uppercut, backing Abusy up! Cerrone pushed forward with a sloppy right cross, but Abusy slipped the punch and countered with a right hand of his own! Abusy landed a stiff leg kick, and Cerrone missed with a wild series of strikes. Both fighters landed some hard punches, and Abusy cracked Cerrone with a big head kick!

Abusy landed a few hard shots, and Cerrone started pushing harder for a takedown; after three failed attempts, Cerrone found his mark at the 3:45 mark, landing in half guard on top. Cerrone held onto a kimura attempt for a few seconds but spent the last thirty seconds of the round landing some ground and pound to score points.

Round 2 – Abusy opened with a right cross, and Cerrone responded with a left hook! Every time these guys landed, the audience vocally groaned, anticipating a highlight reel finish for one of these guys. Cerrone had been vocal in the media, promising to put on a show for the company's management, but he was finding himself in a real dogfight here.

Abusy landed an uppercut, Cerrone responded with a stiff jab, and ducked under a wild left hook attempt from Abusy. Cerrone shot in for a takedown, and ran into a hook to the body from Abusy. Both men were missing with some wild shots as they both struggled to land the bigger blows. Every time they started exchanging shots, you could feel them reverberating through the arena.

Both men landed some jabs and Cerrone scored the second takedown of the night, landing in guard. This time, Abusy managed to work a closed guard, nullifying anything that Cerrone could do from this position; the referee stood them up at the three minute mark.

Cerrone landed an overhand left. Abusy missed with a right handed shot, and Cerrone countered with a right hand of his own; the cut on Abusy's nose was getting worse as this fight progressed. Abusy missed with a shot, and Cerrone picked up the aggression, smelling blood- literally and figuratively. Cerrone missed with several shots, and ate some counter-blows in return.

At the four minute mark, it was Abusy pushing forward with wild shots, although Cerrone fired back with some looping punches of his own. Both men were trading punches as the buzzer sounded, and the referee ate a few to the back as he jumped between the two sluggers.

Round 3 – Abusy came out with an overhand right that missed by a mile, and Cerrone missed with a combination. Abusy cracked him with a right hand, followed by another right on the button. Cerrone responded with an uppercut followed by a left hook! As Cerrone turned to keep pace with Abusy, deep purple welts could be seen on his leg, from all of the kicks of Abusy.

Abusy landed an uppercut and ate a body shot for his trouble. Cerrone landed a jab and received a left to the temple. Cerrone landed a jab, followed by an overhand left before shooting in with a very telegraphed takedown attempt. Gary Abusy started chasing Cerrone, first missing with a one-two combination, then with a leg kick; Cerrone cracked him with a right hand! Gary Abusy's nose was a faucet of blood loss by this point. Both men pause the action, taking deep breaths, waiting for the other to push forward. Abusy ate a right hand to the body, and pushed forward, running into another jab on the nose. Abusy winced, and Cerrone cracked him with a big right hand! Abusy went down hard and Cerrone waved him back to his feet!

Abusy was rocked, badly, and trying to cover up! Cerrone took a deep breath and Abusy started punching again, looking to return the favor from getting dropped! Cerrone landed a jab on that battered nose, and Abusy spit a big wad of blood out. Abusy ate an uppercut and landed a leg kick, buckling the knee of Cerrone!

Cerrone missed with a right hand and ate a counter-right from Abusy. Both men were going all out, landing punches in the center of the cage, and the crowd was on its feet! Abusy flopped a leg kick attempt, and Cerrone responded with a right hand! Abusy fired back with a left hook that missed, and Cerrone landed another left hand!

The fighters separated momentarily, and the referee paused the fight, calling in the ringside doctor to take a look at Abusy's nose. The fans automatically started shouting obscenities, but Abusy admitted that he was having trouble with blood going up into his eyes during these wild exchanges. The doctor examined the nose for a second longer before saying something to the referee. The referee waved off the fight! What an end to an awesome back-and-forth war.

The Analyst said, This is the second consecutive stoppage victory for Phil Cerrone inside the Bravado Productions cage!

And our color commenter responded, “You know, Phil Cerrone promised everyone a big performance tonight, but I don't think he expected the kind of war that he got from Abusy. Cerrone was arguably losing this fight, but he knew that he had Abusy hurt with that broken nose, and he targeted it with every punch in the later rounds. I would love to see a rematch between these two down the road.

Ladies and gentlemen, after consulting with the medical staff, the referee has called a stop to this contest at four minutes and thirty-seven seconds of the third round, declaring the winner by T-K-O: Phil “The King” Cerrone!”

In his post fight interview, Phil Cerrone started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

(Heavyweight Division) Bob Lewis versus Hapso Capso

Round 1 – Bob Lewis opened with a double leg takedown attempt, but Hapso Capso easily side stepped and circled away. As Lewis got to his feet, Capso rushed forward and landed a lead right, followed by a sweeping left hook! Lewis fell on his back and Capso dived into his guard! Lewis was bleeding profusely and struggling to control Capso with his legs. Hapso jumped back to his feet, and Lewis sluggishly followed, taking a deep breath once he got upright. Hapso ran in with another right-left combination and Lewis stood, rocking unsteadily on his feet like a drunk, and Hapso ended the fight with another right hand! The referee stopped the fight, and Capso jumped up and down screaming about getting his respect.

Our color commenter screamed, “Oh, my god! This was supposed to be a pretty stiff test for Hapso's progress, but he came out and looked like a destroyer tonight!

Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at forty-two seconds of the very first round, declaring the winner by KNOCK OUT: Capso “Cap” Hapso!”

(Super-heavyweight Division, Tournament bout) Hollyfield Gomes versus Maurice Boon

Round 1 Hollyfield Gomes was all business on his walk to the cage. He kept his head down, hood covering his eyes, disrobed, and entered the cage to the default musical track provided by Bravado Productions.

(We gave everyone the opportunity to describe their own walkout...) Maurice Boon walked out to the cage on all fours, like a lion, or perhaps a large dog. The fans were a tad bit bewildered at this strange entrance, which only ended as Maurice approached the check-in station, where he stood up and allowed the officials to examine him. We later learned that Maurice hates being touched by the fans, so he found a... unique method of avoiding this. As the referee introduced both fighters, Gomes paced his side of the cage, and Boon stood completely still, eyes closed. Were it not for the rising and falling of his chest, you might be led to assume that he had just died standing up.

The referee gave the command to fight, and the two warriors touched gloves before squaring up in the center of the cage. Maurice Boon shot in for an immediate double leg takedown on the Jiu-Jitsu brown belt... and fell into an armbar right off the bat. Well, that's that, I suppose.

Our analyst stated, Hollyfield Gomes has fought twice in Bravado Productions; in both instances, he has won via submission within the first twenty-five seconds of the fight. Hollyfield Gomes advances into the finals of the championship tournament! Hollyfield Gomes will fight the winner of McFukur and Heartoway, which will be determined later tonight!

And our color commenter responded, “Wow. Gomes is a monster on the ground... but, you kind of have to wonder: who told Boon that taking Gomes down would end well for him? There's a reason that one is a blue belt and one is a brown belt in Jiu-Jitsu. It's just my opinion, but I think that Boon should contact the Bravado Productions Human Resources department, headed by Michio Kaku, and ask for a little advice when it comes to game planning; meaning no offense to Mr. Boon, but this defeat could have been avoided.

Maurice Boon was interviewed post fight and said 'I didn't expect to lose, but I'm glad it happened now before I could get too big of an ego.'.

“Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at eighteen seconds of the very first round, declaring the winner by submission due to an armbar: Hollyfield Gomes!”
