Dog The Multi Hunter

10-1-0

9 Submission Victories

23 years old

Former StrikeForce Union Featherweight champion (Never lost the title)

Former Gangs of New York 3 and Tycoon's Ultimate Fighter competitor

For a full bio on Dog The Multi Hunter, you can check out his story in the lead up to the TUF tournament HERE

But for those of you who want a quick summary, here's a video of what he is all about

*Big thanks to John Hetfield for doing up the video for me*

Dog is a sensation among the Tycoon faithful who anxiously await who he will catch next. With some possible stories coming up, Dog's popularity outside the cage is almost as big as inside of it.

Not only would a scholarship allow Dog to focus more on his training in the gym, it will allow him to expand his multi hunting operations and help to clean the highstreet of MMA Tycoon from renegades, multis, and dick creme.

New Tszyu makes his mark

His famous father taught him ''all the tricks'', and Kostya "KO" Tszyu has the same insatiable hunger as his dad, "The Thunder from Down Under" Kostya Tszyu to be the best in the world, even if that means skipping the Olympic Games.

"KO" as he is known is at the Australian Institute of Sport this week as part of a Boxing Australia futures camp in preparation for this year's junior world championships, but admits he wants to turn professional as soon as possible.

That would mean forgoing the chance to claim Australia's first gold medal in boxing. "KO" is rated as a genuine medal prospect for the 2016 Olympics, by which time he will be 19 years of age.

''I reckon it [the Olympics] will be too late for me, I want to get into pros as early as possible, "KO" said. ''I want to get to the Commonwealth Games, then go pro.

"My dad did it early, I want to get as much experience in the professionals as I can.''

Already with three national titles under his belt, the 14-year-old makes no secret of his desire to better the feats of the first man to unify the light welterweight division in 30 years.

His father Kostya Tszyu turned professional when he was 22 and after an amazing amateur career, which finished with an imposing record of 259-11. He won gold at the 1991 world amateur championships in Sydney, but turned professional only months before the 1992 Olympic Games.

Tszyu hung up the gloves with a record of 31-2 and was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2011.

He now trains boxers in his native Russia and only returns to Australia a couple of times a year.

"KO" lives in Sydney and trains at his dad's boxing gym

with his uncle. ''I talk to dad a lot,'' KO" said. ''Not having him here makes me tougher, motivates me to show my dad that, yes, I'm a good boxer, even without you.

''I don't really like team sports, I don't like depending on other people. I work hard by myself and get all the results for myself.''

Whereas Kostya was renowned for his power punching, his young prodigy has built his success by staying on the outside and using his pace to his advantage.

As for what his goals are for the junior world titles in the Ukraine in August, "KO's" response is simple. ''I've got one job, that's to win the gold,'' he said.

That was then, this is now.

At 21-years-old "KO" is now a Mixed Martial Artist with a professional record of 10-1-2 all 10 wins are by knockout. When asked about his nickname "KO" he laughs and said, "My mom has been calling me that for as long as I can remember. I guess shes a prophet."

When asked why fight MMA and not Boxing "KO" said, it's simple, "I'm a fighter, not a boxer. Sure I use my Boxing as the base of my fighting style, but I want to be the best fighter, not the best boxer. Boxing is one dimensional. When you add the other disciplines you need to be more than just a boxer, you need to defend kicks, takedowns, submissions, and still not get punched in the face. Boxing never gave me that. I want to blaze my own trail. My father was a Great Champion, but I am my own man. I won a lot of boxing trophies and medals as a kid, but when I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. I want to be the best fighter in the world."

MR JOSHUA

BIO:

Growing up in the slum neighborhood of Hackney; Mr Joshua started boxing aged 6 in order to get a release from his difficult upbringing. He became an Amateur Boxing Champion, aged 18, but rather than turn pro, he decided to bully Heavyweight MMA fighters as he believed their boxing was vastly inferior. So he set about his goal to become the greatest Heavyweight in MMA, the journey has begun...

Case for the Scholarship:

Bjorn; what you are doing for the world of MMA is a great thing. I have been doing great things; so maybe we can do great things together?

I am still very young and have not had many fights; but I have a very successful amateur boxing background and I have dominated every fight I have had in MMA. I started my career with LKO, winning by knockout in the first round (I like to do that). I was very confident I would walk to the belt in that division; they had some guy from The UNIT as the Heavyweight Champion. However; the well known story occurred, and the organisation folded after Mamado disappeared off the face of the Earth.

I have now had two fights in Devastation Fighting Championships; which I have won convincingly as well. I believe I have earned the title shot by now, however; I am just focused on winning fights and becoming the most dominant Heavyweight on MMA Tycoon. I already think I am the best boxer on the entire game at just 21 years old. I fully believe I will be the best MMA fighter in MMA as my wrestling and ground game is getting better every day. I believe your scholarship will give me the resources to put a training camp together to beat Kevin Shinnie: http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=293856. This performance will be my first ever MMA masterclass and after that moment; everybody will realise I am the Real Deal and I am going to the top.

Call me when you're ready Bjorn

Rafael Carvalho (306508)

  • 18 YO
  • 220lbs
  • 193cm
  • 2-0 TWGC (will be 5-0 and the champ)
  • Brown belt BJJ.

"I might be young, but I'm talented and hungry! My goal for this year is to become the Tycoon World Grappling Champion. I've made it to the finals with ease and I excpect that my opponents there give me a harder time. After winning that belt I'll probably look to make my move to MMA and become one of the most successful grapplers in the business. These bums can only throw punches, but in my opinion, if a man can make you give up, that's scary. Every fight I come in and look to break my opponents both physically and mentally. And after I win division 4 championship I'll take on division 3, up we go to division 1!"

A little update:

So first round in the finals I fought James Geens, an old fart who though he would walk through me. Well, there's not much to say, just look at what happened:

http://www.mmawiki.org/en/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/armbar.jpg

After I put that thrash back to the garbage bin, I went to fight Diego Uzir, who called himself "The baddest brown belt on the planet", yeah right:

http://38.media.tumblr.com/4385ec448b45b5ebb1487641b9f27d9a/tumblr_n901agOR791ry1rm7o3_400.gif

And tonight I will fight Rio Costa, he's probably the most dangerous of everyone I have faced, but I still think I will outclass him in every aspect of the game, maybe even get my 5th submission win.

Just so we're clear, I am serious about winning that belt and getting this scholarship to improve my training and become a world class fighter.

AAAAAANNNNNNNDDDDDDDDD NEWWWWWWWWWWWW!

You can send that money and bitches over cause this is a wrap! It's been a smooth sailing past these bums finishing every single one of them with style.

I hope Rio's role model isn't Ronda Rousey, wouldn't want to get him suicidal.

David "The Real Deal" Dickinson

2016 Breakthrough fighter of the year

In 26 days on January 28th, I will be challenging Louis Paterson for the Bushido 145lbs title. I've been studying Louis for a few weeks now and was even ringside when he defended his tile against Gunnar Westerberg at Bushido 34. I felt bad for the guy, defending your title and your not even the main event. The pressure is on him , he's defending his belt and finally getting to taste the big stage. He's a pretty decent boxer, not very accurate though , looked a little rushed and sloppy in stages, I feel if I want to keep the fight standing, I light his face up pretty quick and he will be the one trying to take the fight to the ground and we know what will happen then. totally honest I'm expecting him to try and get in close and clinch the hell out of me. When I take this belt from Paterson, I'm calling Tōbikan Kagayaku" Shiny Aoki out. I'm going to be the Bushido 145lbs and 155lbs champion and ill be calling the shots. Aoki that 0 needs to go. Maybe Rei Rei needs to get that arena booked for the middle of Febuary so I can clean up quick time. With the 200k ill be putting it towards a private jet . Just looked at my schedule and Bushido are working me hard. Got Rei Rei setting up interviews and making me fly left and right. I understand why though, I'm Bushido number 1 p4p , I'm his biggest draw and I will continue to be the biggest draw for a long time.

Anyway that's all guys, got tot get some rest.

P.s Grant how about you carry my belts to the cage after ive won them ?

Bjorn O'Donnel scholarships 2017

Since the announcement of the first scholarships in MMATycoon history, fighters and managers have been lining up trying to secure their scholarship.

Due to the big amount of interest, it wasn't easy at all to decide the 3 winners, who will all be receiving 200k to their account.

The winners have been decided by using multiple criteria, going from age, background story, opponent quality,...

Even filtering the signups with plenty of filters, it still was somewhat difficult to decide the 3 top dogs.

In no particular order, I will now go on to announce the 3 winners of the Bjorn O'Donnel scholarships 2017.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14647163526775.png

David "The Real Deal" Dickinson

At age 20 , he has already made it to a staggering 334 spot in the p4p rankings.

He is 8-2 with 7 stoppage wins and zero stoppage losses.
Dickinson hasn't popped granite chin or KO power, but he seems to be very good at what he is doing.

He talks the talk and walks the walk.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14448282109364.gif

Dog The Multi Hunter

Some say that I don't like his manager, and they might be right.

Who cares?! I don't give a scholarship to a manager, but to the fighter and Dog deserves it.

He seemed a pretty much unstoppable force during the GONY tournament and his slick BJJ makes him a tricky opponent for everyone in his division.

His loss against Miletich worries me a little, but then again, I think he can bounce back from it.

Apart from his clear talent, he also had one hell of a cool video about him on YouTube! Awesome job!

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14005277908955.png

Kostya "KO" Tszyu

Tszyu is a 21 year old MW with a good chin and amazing KO power. He has a pro record of 10-1-2 with 10 (t)KO wins.

That his only loss is a submission loss shows his good chin and brutal punching power.

He will need to start training a more diverse skillset if he wants to keep doing so well, but I'm sure that he and his management are aware of that.

His story is entertaining and certainly worth following. Just don't come too close or he might turn your lights out!

The scholarship money will be sent shortly.

Thank you to all participating and congrats to the 3 winners!

To those who didn't win, don't worry, not every graduation goes flawless...

Dog The Multi Hunter

10-1-0

Recipient of the Bjorn O'Donnel Scholarship 2016

Former GONY 3 and Tycoon's Ultimate Fighter competitor

*Upon hearing that he was one of three fighter's chosen to receive the inaugural Bjorn O'Donnel scholarship, we here at Generic Station Name caught up with Dog to get his reaction*

Reporter: Dog, first off, congratulations on receiving this scholarship. We have known your intentions for some time now, but just to remind our loyal viewer, his name is Dave by the way, what is it you plan on doing with the cash?

Dog: Well the second I get that cash I'm taking the family on a trip to Disneyland. They've put up with some hard times so it will be good to spend some quality time. After that, I'm gonna be 100% focused on getting myself fighting ready. After reviewing my career until this point, my manager figured the best plan for my training going forward. It's delayed my signing to an org by a while but when I do step into the cage again, the crowd won't be disappointed with my renewed passion. On top of that, the multi hunting business in the state has dried out so the plan is to use the cash to go further afield. We got a few leads on some names that seem to be slipping the authorities, but we know we got the ability to snake them out and claim them upvotes for catching multis.

Reporter: Well that is certainly a unique answer. Are you surprised that you were chosen to receive the award?

Dog: Not at all. The second you see my passion you are intrigued. My diverse lifestyle means it's hard to prepare for me. It's hard to know what I am bringing to the table. The enigma is what interests people. Too many fighters these days talk about how they are amazing, how they are just natural born successes, and all the other crap nobody cares about. It's all to fuel their own ego and hide their insecurities. I lay it all out on the table. I've got a family I try to provide for. I suffered to get to this point in my career. I have a team around me in both MMA and Multi Hunting that I can rely on at all times. This isn't something I do for fun, I don't have amazing lifestyles to finance. I fight in MMA because I am the single most passionate fighter on this planet, and in 10-15 years when the kids are older and are going off to college or whatever, they will need that security. I run the Multi Hunting operation as my business for when I am done with MMA. This isn't a sport you stay in forever. You need contingency plans and that's mine. It's just a good thing it's my other passion in life. But to answer your question simply, no I am not surprised, but I am greatly humbled to be chosen.

Reporter: Well that was certainly an electric response. Finally, do you have any final statements to the audience member?

Dog: Dave, don't you fucking dare give up on me. And to anyone else who may somehow be seeing this local Generic Station Name report, I'm coming for the top. The second I get my money from the scholarship, I'm jetting my ass to the best places on the planet. Japan, Brazil, Russia, America and Irish Friday Night Pubs to learn the best fighting styles in the world. Thanks and good bye.

Just over 2 weeks now until fight night , weight is looking good, fight camp has been superb, few new fighters have joined the gym and its really humbling that these kids have started MMA after watching me fight . This has pushed me on , so Paterson best be training hard, putting them hours in the gym. Just seen he has gained his purple belt so he has been drilling his ground game . Lets hope that is enough . We could have had this fight now but his asked for the extra preparation time and I obliged as I want the best Paterson.

Woooooooo. I knew I could do it. Bushido 145lbs champion. This week could not be better. Celebrating my 21st birthday and Rei Rei giving me that belt. I would like to thank Paterson on turning up but I dominated him from the start. I was confident in every area of this fight , my stand-up has come on leap and bounds and my jits is on another level. If I catch a limp you will tap. I would also like to congratulate my manager who became a dad to a baby girl last sunday . Keira Rose this is for you .
