What the heck happened in this fight?

My fighter:

Boxing: 10, Muay Thai: 7, Wrestling/bjj: 1

Opposing fighter:

3/3/6/blue

Opposing fighter got KOd quick in his first fight. Set my sliders to fairly aggressive standup / follow orders with keeping a distance, throwing kicks and punches, breaking the clinch, standing up from the ground, etc. I set him to a straight up standing fight and avoiding the ground at all possible.

He didn't land a single strike that I can tell, and got absolutely wrecked. Did I set tactics wrong? Hiddens too bad? Built him wrong? etc.? I even invested all my money in putting him in a good gym/clothes/supplements. I thought this guy was going to be my guy I invest in.

Also after he lost the fight his morale went to 0. <_< What in the world happened in this fight?

I'd like your guys' review of this fight to help me get better.

Yup. Also, 0 morale means he has no confidence. And you shouldn't have booked another fight with no morale too.

Feel free to hit me up in the game if you need any help.

Your fighter has no confidence. This is usually a `dealbreaker` to most managers meaning you should probably cut him. Even with high aggression he will put out little to no action. This is hard to deal with and gameplan for because he will basically do nothing even if you set him to 100% aggression. My advice is to cut your losses, definitely sack him.

Also apply to the noob fund and get some startup cash, try to get a good Mentor (I know you would like me as a Mentor but I am not sure I have the time with life right now, also my last mentee left the game pretty early in his career while he was killing it and I`d invested a lot of quality advice and time in `raising him` so I`m still a bit heartbroken over that lol)

Not all the fighters you create will get great hiddens but with a good build even a fighter with bad hiddens can triumph over a beast or an "okay" fighter. With a good Mentor you will learn some good builds and tactics to go along with that and good ways to make money.

I wish you the best of luck!

How long does it take to gain the morale back? I've got 3 pairs of clothes I can switch every day or so

It can take a few days. But as mentioned above - a drop to 0% essentially means no confidence. It's very tough to work with in the long run (though you CAN mitigate it by sliders a little bit).

I'd sack the fighter in this case.

who was your mentee?

I don't remember his name anymore because his account got deleted but him and a few others who listened to me a little bit were the reason I was awarded Mentor of the year 2014. I remember it was something along the lines of "Mr. <something>" can't remember lmao, kind of sad...

But he did open a clothing shop and was doing avatars for people I believe, so making good money and building his stable up and then he said that he had a busy life and could not keep up with the demands of being good at this game even though he liked it.

The other few who were my mentees kind of read a few things I wrote to them, didn't really listen as much or didn't care to and I dropped them eventually but this guy was really doing well IMO even though he was mostly fighting in QFCs with 25 YOs.

OK I believe his name was something japanese after thinking a bit.

I wish there was an easy answer to help you out. I could mentor you forever and it will still takes a few years to get anywhere. That's an unfortunate thing about the mechanics here.

Short answer, sack his ass.

If you want some pointers feel free to message me in game. I'm not anywhere near the most knowledagable nor the best mediocre player here. But with creation and sliders I might be able to help. Aside from that, you need patience and time to build a real gym. No playing nonstop to beat the game or learn to pwn some multiplayer here. Just straight time and knowledge.

Good luck my friend. Oh again, sack that piece of shit.
