TonyScat
http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=883712 In the above fight, my fighter passes to side control. Then it reads "reversal" with no explanation, but my boy is still on top, now in half guard. Am I missing something, or is there something wrong here? Slice
It due to the fact that your fighter countered an escape attempt, if a guy tries to escape and your guy passes guard, it counts as a "reversal" of that move
rac2
just throwing my $0.02 out there, but unless the fighter has reversed the position before the escape attempt, i don't think the reversal gif should be displayed in case the other fighter (avoiding the escape) advances on top (in this case to the side). a mere escape attempt from guard is not a reversal, or even an improved position for that matter. therefore we either need: 1) more clarity from the flavor text, explaining that the fighter had reversed the position and is now attempting to get back to his feet - when he doesn't succeed, the fighter who wants to keep it on the ground reverses back and then advances to the side - in this case, two reversals gifs should be displayed and more text should be added; OR 2) to wipe out this reversal gif, because there was no reversal at all, the dude just tried to get back to his feet, for example, gave his back for a moment, tried to wall walk, whatever, acted like a bum, and the ground fighter merely used the momentum to advance position: there was never a reversal at all.
