PBR
Well looks like I might have to fire up the boat and drive around some in the neighborhood -- worse part is its not even close to being over with yet -- water is about to come into the house, it's about 1 1/2 inches from coming in and it has never flooded like that here -- trying to get what I can stacked up, a lot of the neighborhood is already under water and totally flooded out -- they say we have another 4 days of continued rain to come, not sure what is gonna happen but it's not good
Bwang
Good luck man. Hope you and your neighbors stay safe. Post up a picture of you in your boat cruising the streets! (If that's not too callous.)
PBR
shit im about to go to sleep and say fuck it if drown or well -- lol -- im tired and been up all day and night -- water is still right at coming in, if someone was to drive down the road it would come in -- friends of mine are flooded and had to call for rescue -- water up to their chest in their house and many others knee deep or so -- its really bad and only going to get worse cause they say the storm stalled and just gonna dump more rain for few days -- been watching news and many folks are trapped in their attics -- would of thought they would of learned not to go up there from new orleans and katrina -- 100's died by doing that

PBR
thanks --- cant sleep but bad thing is cant do anything to stop it from coming in either -- thankfully havent lost power yet cause that would suck balls -- just watching news and checking on friends -- they calling for anyone with boat or jet skis to help throughout the city, 1000's of people stranded on top of their houses or in attics -- i would help but i cant get out myself

shockg
Did they give you an evacuation notice beforehand? That sounds like a nightmare. Will probably donate some cash to relief efforts. Where are ya?

kenlow73
I tried to ask Gonzasco in the draft chat if he got any of it and I was replied with "I'm training the cats to revert back to their primal states and then we're going to feed on the natives" or something like that. We've always escaped here. The area hasn't been hit since 1921. Elena was out in the Gulf Labor Day weekend when I was in seventh grade and we just got effects from it. Charlie was supposed to hit here and made a right turn right before.

kenlow73
Water section at my store on Monday. It was same on Tuesday. We had pallets of water lined up in the back hallway (I dropped the last one next to the door for the beer cooler) it was gone in an hour.
