Guest
I'm not really sure how these fights get scored. Was I not active enough in this fight? I guess clinching and holding counts more than I thought? Not bitching, just not sure. http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=899147
jsdaugh
Close fight to score, at first glance it looks like you won, but he threw many more punches than you, and threw a decent amount of kicks some that landed. My guess is thats why he won, not the clinching.
JakeF
Missed strikes give points too and your opponent had a lot.

Humble
Yea it really looks like you won that. I would've been confused too lol

Monsieur.Camara
Missed strikes count for points lol , I mean I ca understand if the fight was a borefest the fighter that showed aggression should win but 2x judges gave 30-27 to imo the fighter that lost the fight. This game is super realistic with the super bad judging.
Guest
I think activity is rewarded in mma, no? ovoxo has it right, because the only way my fighter lost was because he was less active. I just didn't think it counted that much. MY opponent had 142 total strikes. He landed 30/142 I had 45 total strikes and landed 43/
JakeF
I have seen some formulas for scoring and I remember that missed strikes were giving points so activity could be rewarded somehow. Ofc they were giving a lot less points than the successful strikes.

Dana says never let it go to the judges.
JakeF
I can just guess your fighter had very high counter. 265lbs. and after 3 rounds he had like 50% energy left in the tank. If you were looking for a decision win and went high accuracy, you should have boosted the aggression a bit.

My hope was he would be more gassed and I might knock him out in the 2nd or 3rd. Since we can't do per round sliders (something I would love btw) I had to keep the slider less aggressive. JakeF
There is actually a way to increase/decrease aggression between rounds. Set Swing seconds to 600 in a 3-round fight, and if you lose round 1, your fighter would start increasing aggression in the beginning of round 2. The description of the slider is it only goes up to 180. Do you have a fight link where we can see that kicking in at the start of round 2? Lefty
more aggression will win a fight especially when it's lopsided like that. he almost tripled you in aggression. aggression wins in mma but if you are powerful enough with your strikes you will be able to ko them. never leave it in the hands of the judges. TonyScat
Damage also wins fights. If his fewer hits hurt you more, he's gonna get the W.

I would think it would have to be some mixture of both.

Info page says it increases aggression. Increasing both damage and aggression would be dumb cause it will lose you the fight every time cause ur fighter will be out of energy in a minute.
