politude
I finally got my first shot at a belt, and need some help figuring out how to go about fighting a pure boxer. Here is my fighter: http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofileman....php?FID=24534# If you need any additional stats, I'll post them Here is who he is fighting: http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=16868 Now as you can see he is wonderful at boxing and has a BJJ blue belt. How do I go about this fight? Thanks in advance!

I would take him to the mat and hope that your blue belt is better than his blue belt.
Guest
Lay and pray is your only option. Max out your slider "stay on ground", work more on strikes/subs so you will have a better chance of staying down there (less ref standups) if you maxed out your submission skills to a high level, then you should lean towards finish. If you have more defensive grappling, then you should be more towards advance position and less towards counter AKA: Take him down, then 1: Lay and pray 2: If you have good subs, finish it Your pretty much destined to lose this one, but your options are lay and pray, lay and pray, and finally lay and pray
politude
Yeah, something tells me I will be trying to just forward position, seeing as how most of my wrestling/BJJ is takedown d and def. grapple
Face Kicker
takedown, ground n pound.
Face Kicker
and i don't know why the hell anyone wants you to lay-n-pray. you have the superior ground skills, so use them.

Guest
This is the best way try to clinch take him down, then try some sub and gnp and just take him down some more and dominate him on the ground.
politude
he is built more as a defensive guy on the ground, and his subs arent exactly, good (Stupid woeful) GnP then?
