  1. One of my fighters is basically trapped for the next month and then some. He is in the QSFC in Helsinki, and I'm gonna assume the guy in charge is either a)not here anymore or doesn't really know what he is doing. The dude has not been online since the 1st, and only has 2 cards set up for the future, the one my fighter is on is in 2 days. However, on my contract page, my inactivity clause is set at 35, yet my fighter has not had a fight in 37 days so far, and will finally end the dry-spell at 39. I can't quit because I still have 1 fight on his deal, and he outgrew his contract, and is out of a gym right now because the money is low. What can I do in this case, the release from the org button isn't there because he has a fight booked against a guy who he has beaten before (yes, I needed the money). And the inactivity will drop back down to 0, making my fighter stranded for 35 days, and not being able to train during a good 30% of that time.
  2. I post here often to get fight tips because, simply put, I still have a lot to learn about this game. Tonight my 4-2 fighter Leviathan Jones http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=24536 is fighting a 5-2 fighter, with what I assume have got to be some title implications; http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=21843 I am worried about his opponents purple belt, as I am assuming he has been training up his striking defense. What do you guys think as far as a gameplan?
  3. Ive had him since he was 18, so hes a SLOW learner. I'm gonna cut the dude.
  4. I have had a dilemma lately, I have a fighter, http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=14765 and he just lost another fight. Hes 4-3 but I feel like he is just not improving at all. His stats are basically mediocre-competent all the way around, and I'm beginning to feel like hes is just a mediocre fighter. Is it time to cut him, or should I keep prodding him?
  5. he is built more as a defensive guy on the ground, and his subs arent exactly, good (Stupid woeful) GnP then?
  6. Yeah, something tells me I will be trying to just forward position, seeing as how most of my wrestling/BJJ is takedown d and def. grapple
  7. I finally got my first shot at a belt, and need some help figuring out how to go about fighting a pure boxer. Here is my fighter: http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofileman....php?FID=24534# If you need any additional stats, I'll post them Here is who he is fighting: http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=16868 Now as you can see he is wonderful at boxing and has a BJJ blue belt. How do I go about this fight? Thanks in advance!
  8. Name droppin eh? I'm down. Although I'm not a huge death metal fan, I listen to a lot of metal. I'm starting to get really heavy into proggy stuff, and I can't believe nobody has mentioned Mastodon. Ive seen them play Crack The Skye in its entirety twice, it was amazing both times. Also if anyone is looking to open their horizon a bit check out Between The Buried And Me, they just released a new album that is probably top 3 for me this year.
  9. I'm just gonna put it out there for hardcore Velasquez homers, I agree that the UFC just wanted to give him a stoppage to make him look better, the guy is becoming a hype-machine, a hype-machine finishes. During the broadcast they mentioned that in the Kongo fight he got it 231 shots, 231! And no finish, lucky for him Kongo has no ground game. When you land 231 shots, ON THE GROUND and don't finish, its basically like shooting a deer in the leg, and then clubbing it with a shovel for the next hour, and it still doesn't die. Once he can finish. hes gonna be an amazing fighter, until then, I hope they throw him in with Lesnar, a guy who actually HAS a strong wrestling background and finishing power.
  10. Bad card overall, all the hype really goofed the main events. The Rua decision, wow, I think it was to save face, as Machida is now a face of the franchise. The Mazzagatti stoppage when ROTHWELL WAS ON HIS FEET, was awful as well. Thank god I didn't order it.
  11. Yep, turns out his shirt was at 1, oops, thanks guys!
  12. My fighter mike McDougal has no morale left, can anyone explain to me why? http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=14765 He just took a fight on short notice as well...
  13. Obvious troll is obvious Your bit is over, go home. Move along, nothing to see here. And sub-spammers are losers, nuff said.
  14. I know of at least 2 more TV spots for Jones Big Ass Truck rentals and storage. Matter of finding them...
  15. Hey guys, one of my fighters is in the 170 pound weight class, but can cut to 156, and usually does, Is there any way to lose core weight so I can move down to the 155 class, or am I going to gain to get to 170?
  16. Jarno Lindgren (2-0) is now a free agent, after signing with UCC, and winning his first REAL fight in a 5 second face kick is looking for a new org in Helsinki. Hes a well rounded fighter, I hope we can set something up ASAP.
  17. You know the stats that I'm talking abut, Agility, Flexibility, Strength, Speed, Conditioning, and Balance. Should I be more eager to train these 6 or should I be training my fight skills?
  18. http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=42408 Thanks to everyone for your help, looks like he SUCKED at takedowns afterall...
  19. Thanks, for all the responses guys, community sure helps when it comes to strategy, i put him on just consistent takedown d training until the fight, will update after fight happens.
  20. Uh, yeah I'm assuming that a brown belt BJJ guy will have TREMENDOUS takedown offence, granted mine isnt really up to par either, not sure whether or not i should be trying to train takedown d, or defensive grapple.
  21. Well, he has woeful boxing to my mediocre right now but I'm hoping that i could beef up to competent in time for the fight.
  22. So for my final fight in my entry-level WFC contract My 2-1 fighter Mike McDougal: http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=14765 and he got matched up against a Chris Ferguson who is bad at everything, except for that part where he is a brown belt: http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=8059 Now, I looked over his fights and he takes you down and submits you, no questions asked, ESPECIALLY after he tries the submissions about 30-40 times. My Blue belt and takedown defense/defensive grapple are screwed. What strategy can I implement here aside from putting the slider all the way to stay standing?
  23. VFC 6 was a great event for Leviathan Jones, he rocked Mathew Fillipo early and often, 2-0, already training for the next unknown fight, prepare to suffer the wrath of the "Blood Mountain"
  24. To piggy back off of the completely insignificant energy loss, I have a question. If a fighter is injured after the fight ( the usual couple of days) if they are still training will the training be weaker and/or damage th fighter further, cause after that fight Lindgren is out for 6 days, I do not understand how.
  25. Thanks for the quick response jeepis!
