Haha! I hope that Saruman will loose in he's next two fights, because otherwise he'll face Halipula in the finals and will get permanently retarded after a TKO (manhandling by hugs).

UNDERCARD:

Bantamweight bout: Taji Bolo (1-0) Vs pernille frandsen (1-0):

A first fight of the night. The crowd is well liqoured up in the Wild Bob's Bar and anxious to see some blood!! Both guys entering with a decision win under their belts. The bell rings and both guys go at it. They're swingin for the fences right away (really, at the fences coz nobodys landing anything). Frandsen grabs the Muay Thai plum and tries to take the fight to the ground but Bolo says oh no you don't. Bolo chooses to pull guard instead. Cunning move after he defended so well that takedown attempt. :? That move seems to pay off though becouse it takes only two attempts to lock a submission.
After 1:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Taji Bolo!
Fight rating: 62%

LHW bout: Trin Garcia (0-1) Vs Eugene Rockcliffe (0-0):

Its a debut fight for Rockcliffe. Garcia has one loss from hes debut. Both guys looking for their first W tonight! It takes only few seconds before Rockcliffe takes the fight to the ground with a beautiful takedown. Garcia has better BJJ skills so hes fine with it. On the ground both fighters are looking to finish the fight: Garcia throwing subs from everywhere and Rockcliffe unleashing some impressive g'n'p. Rockcliffe is able to control the fight and take Garcia down at will during the fight. He also imposes hes will by launchin parades of punches on the ground. To be honest, it's a miracle that this fight went to a decision! After three rounds of war we go to the judges scorecards...
Eugene Rockcliffe wins this fight by unanimous decision!
Fight rating: 94%

SHW bout: Ty Palevic (0-0) Vs Johan Engels (0-1):

Both guys comes to the ring with a big entourage. I think the crowd just doubled with that. ;E Ty Palevic is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is. These fighters looks like they're ready to bang! Engels starts the fight with some aggressive gameplan throwing everything hes got at Palevic. Finally he manages to move to the clinch. In the clinch Palevic starts to throw hes razor sharp elbows like a wind mill! Engels receives a huge cut to his forehead and another to the bridge of hes nose. Hes bleeding badly!! Third connecting elbow sends Engels to the canvas like a rag doll. Hes rocked!!! Can he find hes marbles and survive?? Palevic tries to take advantage of the situation and locks a kimura but Engels manages to shake it off somehow. Palevic has seen enough. No more jujitsu for him. He grapples himself to mount position and unleashes a barrage of vicious punches. The ref eyeing at the drunk ass "ring girls". Cmon ref do your job!! Fortunately he wakes up and rescues the badly battered fighter. Hope hes OK. Damn...
After 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ty Palevic!
Fight rating: 96%

Heavyweight bout: Brock Lesnar (0-0) Vs Pasquale Kasserman (0-0):

Both fighters entering the cage as mma debutants. Let's see if someones going to have the jitters or a adrenaline dump today. It seems like Lesnar is drinking Coors beer as he walks in... Ok, hope this guy takes the fight serious or hes going to get hurt! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar shoots for the takedown right away but Kasserman sees that from a mile away and stuffs it nicely. For Lesnars efforts Kasserman throws a good glancing blow to the temple. Lesnar shoots again for the takedown and screams like on roidrage while doing it but that doesn't help. Kasserman defends really well! Kasserman unloads a wild combination that knocks Lesnar out cold! He doesn't even bother to go for the kill becouse he knows hes opponent is astral travelling. Thats what I call a sprawl'n'brawl!! Excellent stuff!
After 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Pasquale Kasserman!
Fight rating: 59%

Middleweight bout: Josh Pruppen (0-0) Vs Diego De Souza (1-0):

The venue is now packed full when the fighters make their way in. A very intense staredown as the american and the brazilian fighters meet in the center of the cage. Both guys are pumped up! The bell rings and Pruppen immediately tries to clinch. De Souza moves away nicely. The fighters start to throw bombs at each other. Every time Pruppen tries to move in De Souza counters with nasty looking leg kicks! Pruppen jabs hes way in and tries to connect with an overhand right but De Souza recognizes this and counters with a monster kick... to the BALLS of Pruppen! Oh snap that gots to hurt! Pruppen has 5mins to recover. It wasn't intentional so no warning here. Pruppen recovers and the fight goes on. Both guys trying to knock each others head off but it seems like they're off the mark all the time. They swing for the fences for the rest of the match but neither can't finish the fight. I wonder who won the fight.
Diego De Souza wins by uninamous decision
Fight rating: 11%

Middleweight bout: Josef Mengele (1-0) Vs Andrew Brown (1-0):

Both fighters have tasted the sweet victory before. Whose going to rise to the occasion today? Mengele shows some aggressive muay thai skills from the start but Brown blocks everything well. Mengele goes for the headkick that barely misses. Brown uses some nice footwork and immediately counters with a solid punch which opens a cut! Mengele seems unfaced by this. Brown takes the fight to the ground succesfully. The fight goes back and forth on the ground. Both guys are working a lot but nothing really happens. Mengele's cut is really nasty and hes face looks like from a horror movie. Brown doing everything in hes power to finish this fight but Mengele is one resilient bugger! After three rounds of action both guys shakes hands and shows true sportsmanship. Nice but boring. =)
An unanimous decision In favor of your winner... Andrew Brown!
Fight rating: 43%

Middleweight bout: Flannel Greene (0-0) Vs maarten aelterman (1-0):

It's Flannel Greenes debut and he looks like he has some serious jitters. Let's see how this goes. The bell rings and the fighters meet at the middle. Greene starts really aggressively by throwing some serious combinations. Hes mixing it very well. Aelterman pushes Greene up against the cage in a clinch. What? We're hearing some bad news coming in from back stage. It's official - aelterman has eaten all the pies! Oh noes! Aelterman tries to take the fight to the ground unsuccesfully. They break the clinch and immediately Aelterman tries to take Greene's head off with a huge headkick but just misses! Aelterman fakes a kick and goes for a double leg takedown! Greene knows the cure for this situation: a fresh from the oven triangle submission. The first one doesn't sunk in but the second try is bullet proof. Aelterman tries to escape and refuses to tap. Greene pulls down on the head and he's put Aelterman to sleep! This one is all over!
After 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Flannel Greene!
Fight rating: 84%

SHW bout: El Pinjata (1-0) Vs Kvaj Bank (1-0):

The fighters make their way in with their respectable songs roaring from the speakers. Pinjata seems hes as tall as hes wide. A serious meat truck! Bank has a biiiig reach advantage. Let's see how hes planning to use it. The bell rings and Bank goes for the LHK straight away but misses. Pinjata rushes on and it seems like Bank stuffs the takedown attempt but Pinjata keeps going and drives trough the whole cage and gets it! When these two super heavies drops to the floor the whole bar shakes a bit. Hopefully no one spilled their drinks! Pinjata has very nice control on the ground. Hes tactics reminds me of Roy "Big Country" Nelson: belly control!! Pinjata is working for submission. He has stuffed hes belly on the face of Bank. Is that a choke? No, Pinjata has given up a dominant position and is on the side control but he has locked the arms! Is it... Yes, an arm triangle! And it's tight!! I think Bank is out! Nice work by Pinjata!
After 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). El Pinjata!
Fight rating: 49%

CO-MAIN EVENT:

Heavyweight bout: Henry Van Der Sar (1-0) Vs Wesley Van Overeem (0-0):

It's time for the co-main event of the night. The whole bar is going ape nuts when the two hometown boys enters the cage! This fight has all the ingridients to be a barn.. a pub burner! The fight is on! Van Overeem goes immediately for the takedown and gets it. Van Overeem is working for a better position but Van Der Sar controls well. This is going no where so the ref stands the fighters up. Van Der Sar wants to clinch but Van Overeem takes the fight back to the ground. Again, nothing is happening and people is getting very restless. Someone is already booing. The ref stands them up again. The fight goes from the stand up to the clinch to the ground but nothing significant is happening. People are really getting angry now! A fight breaks out in the bar!! People are cheering and going bonkers but for the wrong fight. What is happening here?! The crowd haven't even noticed that three rounds have passed and the winner is called becouse there were a lot better fight outside the cage. This must be the first!
Winner by unanimous decision... Wesley Van Overeem!
Fight rating: 54%

MAIN EVENT:

Bantamweight bout: Sota Kalkkuna (1-0) Vs Teppo Tuhkasaari (1-0):

The main event is a fight between two BJJ experts from the cold land of Finland. The fight outside the cage during the co-main event have been stopped and the crowd is back to watch the final fight of the night. The bell rings and we are underway! A huge suprise: the fight goes to the mat immediately. Tuhkasaari seems to be the more aggressive fighter and he has the position. Tuhkasaari is working subs like possessed. He wants to get this over with! Kalkkuna shows some heart and doesn't give up without a fight. The guys roll around but it seems like nothing big is happening. The crowd is getting restless again! People seem to be drunk as hell here in the Wild Bob's. In the cage two guys are giving it everything they have but it looks like their skills cancel each other out. After three rounds we have the winner by decision, again. As the fighters walk away to their locker rooms it seems like somebody has lit the bar on fire!! Quick, get everyone out before somebody gets hurt!
Winner by unanimous decision: Teppo Tuhkasaari!
Fight rating: 44%

UNDERCARD:

Middleweight bout: Cortez Logan (1-0) Vs Willem Jansen (0-1):

A first fight of the night. The crowd is going wild when Jansen walks in. They sure know how to support their own here in Amsterdam! The bell rings and we are underway! Logan starts veeery aggressively taking the control right away. Logan sees that it's better to close the distance and goes for the clinch. Logan has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Jansen clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Very entertaining stuff! A quick standup from the ref becouse the local boy was in trouble. Thats pretty obvious mr.ref! After the standup Jansen throws a monster uppercut that finds the mark perfectly. Logan is cut! Logan spits some blood out of his mouth/nose and waves Jansen to come at him. What a warrior! Both guys go at it but neither is succesfull doing anything big. After three rounds of action we go to the judges cards. In the afterfight interview Jansen tells that he wont fight anymore and that he has retired! He says that it was just a drunken bet that he lost and now that he won a fight he can go back to hes everyday job being a male nanny, LOL! Can you believe that? :o
Winner by unanimous decision... Willem Jansen!
Fight rating: 59%

Heavyweight bout: Rui Rodrigues (0-0-1) Vs Rafe Mundy (0-1):

In the walk in Rui Rodrigues looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance. Both guys have fought before but not with very good results. Let's hope one of them is able to pull a W today. =) In the fight introduction Rodrigues looks bored as hell. Hmm, whats up with this dude? After the bell the guys go at it. The fight goes from standup to clinch to the mat and back on the feet. Both guys are throwing every move out there that they have ever practised or read from a book. Every once in a while the fight actually looks like a real mma bout, wow. Maybe these ninjas should practise tha basics before becouse nothing is really happening. After three rather interesting rounds we have a decision.
Winner by by unanimous decision... Rafe Mundy!
Fight rating: 52%

Bantamweight bout: Jim Morrison (0-1) Vs Carl Bentley (0-1):

A fight between two newcomers. Both guys are looking for their first win. No touching the gloves here. I wonder if it's the good old USA vs Canada rivalry sparking in the back of their heads. Or is there such? Well what do I know. Let's go to the fight. Both fighters start off really well landing all kinds of attacks. Wow, we have the first REAL fight on our hands today! Morrison seems to be more versatile on the feet but Bentley has the better basics and he lands with a lot better presentage. Both guys are bloodied up! They exchange again and both guys lands. Bentley is getting really excited: hes throwing hes hands to the air trying to entertain the crowd and it works! People are going nuuuts. Bentley lands a solid switchkick to the liver of Morrison. Morrison looks to be in pain! Bentley goes for the kill and what..? Morrison was just acting! He counters with solid double leg takedown. Morrison seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Bentley is in big trouble! He's tapping out! Daaaamn that was a sweet submission!
After 2:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Jim Morrison!
Fight rating: 100%

LHW bout: Simo Kostaja (1-0) Vs Marouane Chamakh (1-0):

The clash of two undefeated fighters here. Who will keep that status we will see soon. The ref calls "FIGHT!" and we are underway. Chamakh starts throwing bombs right away. No feel out process in this fight. Kostaja looks to be the less aggressive fighter in the boxing range. Chamakh's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Chamakh duly obliges... and lands! Kostaja is cut! Kostaja grins a smile and licks hes own blood from the forehead. He has obviously seen BJ Penn in action. Kostaja goes for the clinch and starts throwing a parade of knees. Chamakh wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee! Kostaja lands an elbow and right after that he lands a knee on the jaw! Chamakh is rocked! Chamakh crumbles to the canvas and Kostaja jumps for the kill! Three unanswered blows to the head and the ref stops the fight! It's aaaaaall over! Kostaja gets wild and tries to do a back flip which fails horribly. Did he broke hes neck, damn...
After 3:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Simo Kostaja!
Fight rating: 77%

LHW bout: Charles Williams (1-0) Vs Marion Cobretti (1-0):

The fighters are making their way in. Wild Bob's bar is packed once again and the uneducated but drunk crowd wants to see blood! Let's see how this one goes. Straight after the bell Cobretti rushes across the cage and launches a superman punch from hell to the suprised face of Williams. Whoa what a start! It seems like Williams received a cut from that. Not the best way to start a fight. Williams seems to be the more tentative fighter on the feet. Maybe hes waiting for the right spot to counter? Cobretti throws hes punches with everything he has. If one of those lands Im pretty sure Williams will fall to a coma. Williams realizes this and quickly changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cobretti manages to get to half guard. Williams grabs a limb and starts yanking. Cobretti screams from pain and has no choice but to tap. Williams would have taken that arm with him. Impressive finish by Williams!
After 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Charles Williams!
Fight rating: 48%

LHW: Wain Gro (0-0) Vs Bass Rotten (0-1):

Both fighters looking for their first win here. The crowd goes nuts when Rotten's walk in song starts playing! The cheering and partying quickly changes to silence and bunch of confused faces when the people realizes that the guy is nowhere near the famous Bas Rutten. Huge "we want our money back" chanting starts. The fighters are as confused but theres no time to think about that the fight is starting... The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rotten tries immediately to take the fight to the ground but Gro is having none of that and sprawls beautifully! Gro takes some distance and fakes a punch. Next up - a page taken out of Mirko Crocop's book: Gro launches a killer left highkick that lands flush to the side of Rotten's head!! That dude might be dead!! Medical staff (one 60 year old semi-drunk nurse) rushes to check Rotten. The crowd goes bonkers becouse of the annihilation of the impostor! Justice has been served.
After 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Wain Gro!
Fight rating: 37%

Heavyweight bout: Franko Sicciro (1-0) Vs Matt Martinez (1-1):

In crashforce scale this is a fight between two veterans. =) Both guys seem to be exited and pumped up! Let's see how these "old timers" do. The bell rings and the fight is on! Right after the bell a huge need to got to the bathroom hits the event recap writer. Brb, folks! ........after three painfully unexiting rounds we have a decision (or so I have heard). :E
Winner by unanimous decision... Franko Sicciro!
Fight rating: 72%

Heavyweight bout: Prolly Rain (1-0) Vs Trojan Mini (1-0):

Two european warriors enters the cage. The spanish proud Prolly Rain is very exited to be here today! After the staredown the fighters touch gloves and we are underway. Fighters bounce around and are measuring each other up. Seems like these guys going to have a feel out process here. Mini takes the charge and goes for a takedown but Rain shouts "Olè!" and circles nicely away. Mini unleashes a bunch of wild combos but can't connect. Rain showing some really nice footwork here. Mini shoots for another takedown but Rain catches him and turns the takedown for hes advantage. Rain is dropping some nice hammer fists from the top. Mini is bucking up trying to escape but Rain cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Mini bucks up again but this time Rain catches him with a guillotine from the mount and hes not letting go! Mini is looking to be in real pain! He taps! Rain lets go of hes victim and jumps up and starts dancing Paso Doble. Nice!!
After 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Prolly Rain!
Fight rating: 46%

CO-MAIN EVENT:

Heavyweight bout: Alex Velnart (1-0) Vs Henrik Van Robben (1-0):

Both fighters make their way in with their respective songs roaring in the background. Velnart has his own dance crew with him as he walks in! Neat! The fighters touch gloves and the fight iiiis ooon! Van Robben starts very aggressively and takes the cage control. Velnart seems to pick hes spots better becouse hes countering seems to land more. Both guys launches big combos at the same time! It looks like Frye vs Yoshihiro all over again! Wooow what an entertaining perioid of action! Velnart Rushes van Robben and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Van Robben is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Velnart Piles on the pressure and van Robben crumples to the floor! This one is all over! Both warriors gets a standing ovation (for those who still are able to stand) from the crowd!
After 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alex Velnart!

Time to bring in the big boys! When these monsters starts to throw bombs anything can happen! In the staredown the samoan Rodie Tua tries to get to Vindicators head by giving him the mean face! What a meanie! The ref is ready to start the fight. Let's see if the fighters are. Vindicator starts with a barrage of punches but Tua circles away. Nice combo by Vindicator! Oh, that's hurt him - Tua falls to the canvas and Vindicator follows him into side control. Tua is obviously rocked! Tua is trying to get hes marbles together but Vindicator drops a huuuuuge elbow to Tua's face. Daaamn that samoan bastard has a chin made of adamantium becouse hes still in the fight - barely! Most men would be six feet deep at this point. Tua is trying to tie up and get a breather. Tua is looking to sinch up a triangle. Vindicator throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Tua's body to avoid the submission. Tua has instead reached around Vindicator's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Tua arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent. What heart! Maaan Im sure this will be played in youtube a looot! Oh yeah we don't have cameras here. Anyway, impressive comeback from Rodie Tua!!
After 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Rodie Tua!

Btw, sorry if someone gets offended about my recaps. That is definately not the goal here. Just trying to spread some smiles. :D

On a sidenote, it would be great to have some input if this style of recaps are allright? Are they really funny or am I making an ass of myself? I honestly don't know. =)

UNDERCARD:

Bantamweight bout: Mauricio Diesel (0-0) Vs Carl Cafuzo (0-0):

In our first fight of the night we have two newcomers battling it out. The arena is packed full and everybody is expecting to see some fireworks! The ref shouts: FIGHT! ...and we are underway. Diesel tries to take the muay thai plum right away but Cafuzo is having none of it but shoots for a takedown and manages to get it. Let's see how these rookies do on the mat. Diesel looks like a fish out of water on hes back and Cafuzo moves quickly to mount position! Nice moves from Cafuzo. Cafuzo gets a little reckless and tries to go for the kill right away but loses the dominant position. As Cafuzo is trying all kinds of submissions Diesel really looks like he has to take some BJJ classes. He just doesn't know whats going on! Cafuzo advances position again and has Diesel's back now! As Diesel is trying to hold on with hes dear life Cafuzo smiles to the camera and goes for an arm from the back! Daaaamn what a move! Diesel has no choice but to tap. Cafuzo jumps up and starts partying like a wild animal. Diesel is shaking hes head from disbelief.

Fight rating: 100%

Middleweight bout: Dimitris Bithoulkas (1-0) Vs Math Prush (1-0):

In our second fight we have two young and hungry fighters who both have tasted the sweet victory before. In the staredown both guys are looking really focused. They touch gloves and we are underway! The gameplan for both guys comes pretty obvious right from the start: Bithoulkas wants to get this fight to the ground and Prush feels like he has the better chance in the clinch. Bithoulkas is going for a takedown after takedown but Prush shows some solid takedown defence. When they clinch up Prush is more than happy to present hes advanced knee techniques! He is mauling Bithoulkas and I swear that dude is turning blue ...full body blue! Those bruises are going to hurt a lot and for long! Both guys are trying to finish the fight but doesn't manage to land any decisive blows. After the judges have ruled their decision Bithoulkas crumbles to the canvas and passes out. Well he left everything in the cage for sure.
Winner by by unanimous decision... Math Prush!

LHW bout: Dan Shayle (0-1) Vs Napolian Manson (0-1):

A fight between two heavyhanded stand up fighters. Im expecting nothing less but a KO in this one. Both warriors are looking to get their first win here. In the staredown Manson tries to headbutt Shayle a little but Shayle dodges and pushes Manson away from him! Niice these guys are all fired up! The ref has to start the fight officially becouse these dudes are about to rip each others head off anyway. The bell rings and now they can throw down legally. =) They go toe to toe right from the start! Even Wanderlei Silva would be jealous becouse these guys are throwing nothing but wild hooks from everywhere! No head movement what so ever and still both brutes are unable to connect. Manson starts trash talking Shayle and calls him hes b*tch! Shayle shouts: "come treat me like one!". Manson duly obliges and rushes at Shayle who fakes and throws a monster body shot! Manson tries to get a breather but thats too late. Shayle lands with a beautiful combo and sends Manson to the canvas. Thats all over folks. I think we all know who is whos b now?
After 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Dan Shayle!
Fight rating: 57%

LHW bout: Gegard Mousasi (1-1) Vs paper boy (1-0):

The audience is going crazy when Mousasi enters the cage. He sure has hes hometown behind him! Paper boy doesn't really have that good welcome. As he walks in somebody steals hes cap and another guy throws a soda can at him. Thankfully it was an empty one. Both guys show respect by shaking hands after staredown. Weee are ready to go! Right from the start Mousasi shoots for a takedown but Boy sprawls well. They exchange punches and both lands. Mousasi moves in and fakes a punch and goes for another takedown. This time he gets it. Boy starts laughing at himself becouse he was tricked that easily. Mousasi shuts hes mouth with a solid elbow to the face! Boy passes out for a split second and Mousasi moves to full mount! Boy turtles and tries to buck up but Mousasi controls him easily. Mousasi drops a few bombs from the mount. The ref is looking closely but it seems like Boy is still defending intelligently ...or something. Mousasi can't finish Boy and the first round is in the books. In the second round Mousasi comes up strong. He closes the distance and lands a hard straight. Boy goes down like a rag doll and Mousasi goes for the kill. The ref has no choice but to push Mousasi away and call the fight! The crowd is going wild! Mousasi on the other hand shows no expression on hes face. What a stoic dude!
After 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (strikes). Gegard Mousasi!
Fight rating: 100%

Bantamweight bout: Alex Vargas (1-0) Vs Durham Mike (1-0):

Both fighters make their way into the cage. We have two solid BJJ fighters here. Let's see who can rise to the occasion here. The fights starts and both guys are taking it pretty easy. The feel out process ends when Vargas goes for a sloppy jab. Mike ducks under and slams Vargas to the ground. Well that didn't take too long! Vargas ties Mike with a nice rubber guard techique a la Eddie Bravo. Is he looking for a sweep? No, Mike postures up and breaks the hold. Right after that he jumps for a leg but decides to not to take it in order to maintain a position. Both guys are actively looking for submissions and positions but they seem to cancel each others skills out. In the third round both fighters are looking really tired. This is now up to who want's it the most. In the stand up position Vargas is effectively landing shots. Mike seems to be dead tired and almost out on hes feet! Vargas capitalizes this and takes the fight to the ground. Mike is totally shot. Vargas takes Mike's back and sunks in the choke! Mike is almost too tired to tap when Vargas slips the RNC in place. What a display of heart from Vargas!
After 4:01 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Alex Vargas!
Fight rating: 100%

SHW: Anselmi Kierre (1-0) Vs Theo Stock (0-0):

A clash of two super heavyweight warriors. This a debut fight for Stock. Let's see how this cookie crumbles. The bell rings and we are underway. The fighters closes the distance and Stock launches a big headkick and Kierre barely blocks it! A good wake up call for Kierre! Stock isn't here to play. Stock is throwing all kinds of kicks but this time Kierre catches one and drives through and gets te takedown. On the mat Kierre is like in berzerk. Hes throwing brigades of punches but hes hitting the mat more than hes target. The fight is fought mostly in the ground but every once in a while the ref stands the guys up. In the third Kierre takes the fight again to the ground but this time he goes straight to the full mount position. He starts to soften hes opponent up and Stock really looks frustrated! Kierre lands a huge ounch and cuts Stock. The blood is dripping everywhere. Kierre lands a huuuuuuge elbow and opens the cut even more. Now they are both covered with blood. Damn thats nasty! Stock can't see anything becouse of the blood in hes eyes and catches a few more bombs before the ref has to stop the fight. A brutal finish by Kierre!
After 1:01 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anselmi Kierre!
Fight rating: 98%

Heavyweight bout: Boban Savic (0-1) Vs Mike Watson (0-1):

Both fighters are looking for their first victory here. As Watson is walking in he has put up a show like no other! He has hes own dance crew. Some very attractive ladies I might add. He has a mask on and some weird costume as he dances in. I don't know if thats so cool with a record like that. Hopefully he can back that all up. In the staredown Watson is making faces to Savic. Savic smiles and goes to hes corner. The ref starts the fight! Watson is immediately trying to take the crowd behind him but hes antics isn't going down very well with the audience. Savic moves closer and Watson immediately goes for a sloppy takedown. Savic throws a huuuuge bomb straight to the temple. Watson crumbles down and takes a hold of Savic's leg like a baby koala. Watson is rocked and cut but somehow hes still in the fight, barely. Hes instincts kicks in and he is able to pull guard. He is trying to get a breather while he ties Savic. The ref stands them up. Watson is still rocked from that huge shot! Savic wants to put this clown to sleep as he moves in and lands a hook from hell! Watson is out cold! After the post fight talk through Savic waves at the dancer ladies to come around him for the photos and they are happy to do that. Watson doesn't know anything about this becouse hes still out.
After 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Boban Savic!

SHW bout: Valentijn Gibbs (1-1) Vs Joachim Peiper (0-0):

It's time for the big boys to bang! When Peiper's walk in song starts he runs through the crowd straight to the gate of the gate. This guy want's to get it on!! Gibbs has more patient touch as he calmly walks in with hes song roaring in the background. In the staredown Peiper looks like hes on speed coz hes doing little hops and looking reaaaally anxious. He wants to get back to hes corner before the ref have given hes instructions. Wow, hes in a rush for sure. The bell rings and we are underway! Right after the bell Peiper kicks some momentum from the cage and runs directly to Gibbs and throws a reckless punch. Gibbs doesn't even realize what the hell happened before he founds out that hes been cut with a glancing blow! The crowd is going ape nuts! Gibbs throws a sloppy headkick but the over-excited Peiper dodges it easily. Damn, that boy is going to have an adrealine dump for sure! Let's see how long he can keep this up. Gibbs seems to be a bit irritated about this and starts throwing everything at Peiper, without landing much. Gibbs ducks for a takedown but finds Peiper's fist from hes mouth. As he crumbles to the mat he somehow manages to pull Peiper with him. Gibbs is rocked bad and Im not sure if he knows where he is! Peiper unleashes a bunch of strikes and what? ...Gibbs taps! He didn't want any of that anymore. What an win for the energizer bunny Peiper. Wow! I hope hes piss test comes out clean from erm... the goods that are sold right in front of the venue.
After 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Joachim Peiper!

SHW TITLE BOUT: Jonathan van der Burgt (3-0) Vs Eddie Fatu (2-0):

It's time for the co-main event of the night. We are about to crown the first champ in Crashforces history! The venue is about to explode when the warriors walks in! After the fighter intruductions both fighters look ready. Let's do it already! The bell rings and the title fight is underway! Both fighters are measuring each other up. No need to rush here! Fatu takes the first action and goes for a takedown but Burgt defends well! Fatu tries another takedown but no luck this time either! Maybe he should set up hes takedowns. Fatu shoots AGAIN but Burgt throws him away. Burgt waves hes fingers like "no son, this is how we do it" and goes for a takedown of hes own and delivers! He slams Fatu to the ground. Burgt is using some good gnp for softening hes opponent up. They guys go at it for two more rounds and in the third Fatu fakes with a punch and gets Burgt on the ground. This time Fatu is on top, finally! It might be too late becouse Fatu looks gassed! In a scramble Fatu leaves hes neck open and Burgt grabs it. He has hes legs around Fatu and he arches hes back! Fatu has no chance but to tap! Burgt is really tired but happy! He can't believe hes the champ!!!
After 4:37 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jonathan van der Burgt!

MAIN EVENT:

HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE BOUT: Pertti Kalmakoura (6-4) Vs Jase Tua (2-0):

It's the maaaaaain event of the eeevening! We have seen a bunch of GREAT fight today but still the crowd keeps going! I think the venue might need some rebuilding after this event. In the staredown Tua tries to get under the skin of Kalmakoura by getting in the face of hes opponent. This is looking a bit ridiculous since Kalmakoura has a lot taller frame. Kalmakoura smiles to hes opponent and nods hes head like "yeah bring it kid". No touching gloves here. The crowd is ready. The ref is ready and the fighters are definately ready. Let's get in on! Tua tries to clinch right away but Kalmakoura pummels hes way in and turns it into hes advantage. Seems like Kalmakoura is the physically stronger fighter here. Kalmakoura grabs the plum and intrudices hes left knee to the forehead of Tua. Ouch! Next up: a vicious hook to the ribcage. Tua looks hurt! Another knee to the heaf of Tua which opens a big cut. Tua is getting man handled here!! Third knee sends tua to canvas like a kid. Damn this is an annihilation. Seems like Kalmakoura is on whole another level. Tua is almost out and it seems like Kalmakoura is thinking how to finish this guy. He sees this bloody meatbag on the floor and feels pity. He doesn't want to smash this kids face anymore. He grabs Tuas neck almost gently and squeezes. Tua has no choice but to tap! Kalmakoura is happy to be the champ but hes a bit mad becouse he couldn't have a better opponent. Nothing taken away from Tua but he wasn't ready for him!
After 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Pertti Kalmakoura!

UNDERCARD:

Middleweight bout: Gero Konig (0-0) Vs Melvin Manowar (0-1):

It's time to bring in the first two gladiators! Both guys are looking for their first professional fight win. The ref calls fight and we are underway! Manowar starts really aggressively on the feet. In the clinch Manowar is throwing everything he has and a little more. He launches a knee after another but they all seem to be blocked by Konig. Konig turns the table by taking the fight to the ground. This fight was fought pretty much like this from the start to the end. On the feet Manowar dominating and on the floor Konig got the better of things. How will the judges see this?
Winner by unanimous decision... Gero Konig!
Fight rating: 62%

Middleweight bout: Harley Taavetinpoika (1-0) Vs Conan Subotai (1-0):

Our second fight of the night is a battle between two young and hungry newcomers. Both warriors have tasted the bitter loss in their first fights but today one of them will leave the cage victorious... probably. In the pre-fight interview Subotai said that he will end the career of Taavetinpoika before it ever began. No touching the gloves for these guys, we are underway! It takes about 3.4 seconds before Taavetinpoika takes this fight to the ground. Taavetinpoika wants to unleash hes new GnP skillz but Subotai pops back on hes feet every time. On the feet Subotai is picking hes shots well and hurting Taavetinpoika. Taavetinpoika goes for another takedown but that was way too obvious and Subotai punishes with a hook from hell! Taavetinpoika has cracked hes head open. The blood is everywhere!! Taavetinpoika doesn't care about that but it really looks bad. The ref calls the doctor to look at Taavetinpoikas cut. The doc says that the laceration is way too bad and the fight has to be stopped!! Taavetinpoika goes nuts, he yelling at the doc that hes fine! Doctorman tries to move out from the cage but Taavetinpoika takes him to the ground and tries to use that GnP skill of hes on the poor doc. Damn. Thankfully the cageside ppl are alert and gets the raging beast under control. Wow, Im guessing we wont see this guy fighting here anymore.
After 4:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Conan Subotai!
Fight rating: 91%

Middleweight bout: Aapeli Pulliainen (0-1) Vs Jamppa Reponen (0-1):

These two guys announced before the fight that the loser will quit the fight game. Wow, we have a lot at stake here. Both guys come from the cold Finland and are members of the same alliance. Lets see how this goes. The bell rings and we are underway. Pulliainen closes the range and throws hes first combination but hes not careful. Reponen changes levels and takes the fight to the ground immediately. On the ground Reponen is not very active. Looks like hes just trying to control Pulliainen. Booooooooring! The fight looks like a lackluster sparring session between two friends. On the second round after a minute or so Pulliainen actually drops Reponen with a nice punch. Was that even intentional, lol? The guys hug it out for the rest of the fight and we have a decision...
In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Aapeli Pulliainen!
Fight rating: 77%

Middleweight bout: Mo Lestor (0-1) Vs Johannes Makeinen (0-1):

Johannes Makeinen comes in with style with hes song blasting from the speakers. There some serious fireworks too! Makeinen looks ready. Mo Lestor comes out accompanied by a group of young japanese girls who are dancing around the guy... Interesting. Well anyway, we are ready to start the fight but what? It seems like the fireworks have lit the commentator booth on fire! Damn I gotta get out of here! ...atlast the fire is put out but the fight is almost over. It looked like (the little I saw) that it was a decent fight but none could finish it. Let's see how the judges see this.
Winner by unanimous decision... Johannes Makeinen!
Fight rating: 90%

Middleweight bout: Reinhard Heydrich (1-0) Vs Hans Lippencot (1-0):

The commentator booth is little burnt but almost as good as new thanks to the venue staff. It's time for the first fight of the ongoing Pakkis Challenge tournament. Which fighter will proceed to the semi-final round? Both dudes look calm and ready in the staredown. They touch gloves and we are undeway! The gameplans for both fighters comes obvious pretty soon. Heydrich wants this fight to the ground and Lippencot is looking for a KO on the feet. Unfortunately after three rounds of a lot of good trying, neither of the warriors are able to put hes opponent away.
Winner by by unanimous decision... Reinhard Heydrich!
Fight rating: 42%

Middleweight bout: Saruman Fredriksson (1-0) Vs Veijo Vinssi (1-0):

A second bout in the pakkis tournament. Saruman has a cape and a wizard hat on him when he makes his entrance, interesting... Vinssi just runs throught the masses to the cagedoor and is trying to get in and this fight going but the staff has to check him first. Wow this dude is pumped! In the staredown Vinssi bounces around like he can't stop it. Fredriksson takes it easily. We are ready, the fighters are ready... FIGHT! Fredriksson sees Vinssi coming at him right from the start and launches a huge punch to the ribcage! Vinssi seems like he didn't even notice it. Fredriksson drives through and takes the fight to the ground. On the ground Fredriksson pummels Vinssi with solid looking GnP but Vinssi just smiles. That dude must really enjoy pain. Vinssi is able to tie Fredriksson down so that the ref has to stand these warriors up. Fredriksson feels like he has a better chance on ground so he goes for a takedown again but this time Vinssi stuffs it nicely. Vinssi throws a nice hard jab and Fredriksson stumbles a bit. Right after the jab Vinssi throws a cross with everything he has and it lands flush to the chin!! Fredriksson seems to be out before he hits canvas but the ref doesn't see this. Vinssi jumps on him and starts loading punches to the already unconcious opponent. The horribly uneducated ref finally saves Fredriksson and pushes Vinssi away!! What a finish! Fredriksson might be in coma.
After 2:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Veijo Vinssi!
Fight rating: 65%

Middleweight bout: Ignaas Zaan (1-0) Vs Osmo Jokinen (1-0):

Third Pakkis Challenge fight: a semi-final spot on the line. We have a hometown boy Ignaas Zaan fighting against a Viking from Finland: Osmo Jokinen. When Zaan enters the venue is about to explode. People are going nuts!! Zaan looks determined and calm. Jokinen had a relatively good reception too: not anyone attacked him or threw anything sharp at him. Thats nice. The bell rings and we are underway! Zaan starts with a nice legkick. After the legkick Zaan moves to clinch and starts throwing elbows like a madman. Those elbows doesn't really connect thought but we see that Zaan is a lot more aggressive fighter here. On the feet Jokinen can't land anything. Zaan has a lot better footwork. The fight takes place on the ground couple of times but Zaan pops back up almost immediately everytime. Neither of the warriors can't land anything solid and the judges have to make another decision. I hope the drunken bastards can get it right.
Winner by unanimous decision... Ignaas Zaan!
Fight rating: 38%

Middleweight bout: Mauricio Vitor Cesar (1-0) Vs Hans van der Halipula (1-0):

Our fourth and last fight of the Pakkis Challenge. Who will face Ignaas Zaan in the semis? Halipula comes out with hes song building up on the background. The guys has become famous of hes hugs. Hes hugging everybody on the way to the cage. What a... not typical fighter. Cesar enters but it seems like somebody put on a wrong song becouse Cesar is lookign mad! Or is it just the basic expression on hes face, I dont know. The tension is building in the staredown. Cesar looks like Halipula had just eaten hes children, that face... it's scary! No hugging or even touching the gloves here. The bell rings and we are underway. Halipula comes out banging. He has the better boxing and the reach advantage so why not? It looks like Halipula is toying with Cesar a la A.Silva vs Griffin. Cesar goes for a takedown but Halipula easily avoids it. When Cesar gets up Halipula closes the distance and unloads a huuuuuuge livershot to the body which sends Cesar to the ground. Halipula has no trouble finishing the fight here. A very dominant performance by Halipula!
After 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Hans Van Der Halipula!
Fight rating: 100%

CO-MAIN EVENT:

Middleweight bout: Meki Ilyou (2-0) Vs Dolla Ballo (2-0):

It's time for our co-main event of the night! The ring announcer is playing with the crowd and trying to build up the atmosphere. The music and the fireworks starts as Ilyou makes hes entrance. He looks calm and ready for this. Next up afighter from Brazil: Dolla Ballo! He shows the crowd some break dance or capoeira moves and it goes down well. In the staredown both fighters look focused. The bell rings and we are underway. The fighters meet a t the center and ILyou starts unloading punches while Ballo tries to get the fight to the ground. Ballo goes for a takedown ater takedown and it seems like hes tiring himself up here. Ilyou has a very nice takedown defence! Ilyou throws a parades of punches but it seems like theres not much power behind. The accuracy is there though. After three rounds of quite one sided fight the judges have a decision.
In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Meki llyou!

Middleweight super fight: Dane Hoy (10-1) Vs Antti Tuisku (7-1):

This is what people have come to see: a first super fight in crashforce history! Dane Hoy stepped up against Antti Tuisku who needed a challenge as the number one ranked crashforce fighter. Im super stoked about this one! Hoy comes in with a smile on hes face. I know he has seen bigger venues but I don't know has he seen a better crowd before becouse the people is going seriously wild! The mayhem gets even worse when Tuisku makes hes entrance. This place is really about to explode! After the staredown the fighter shakes hands and goes back to their corners. The bell rings and the main event is underway! Hoy throws a sloppy bodykick which Tuisku avoids easily. Tuisku counters with a solid hook to the jaw of Hoy. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-fives! This is getting interesting! Tuisku closes the distance with a wild combination but Hoy moves away easily. Hoy gets a trip takedown into side control! Hoy is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Tuisku looks calm but he's in trouble here. Hoy gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Tuisku is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Hoy lets go of the hold and Tuisku can pop his arm back in it's socket. What a sweet finish by Hoy!

UNDERCARD:

Heavyweight bout: Ryan Evans (0-0) Vs Ruud Van Ubereem (0-1):

It's time for our first fight of the night. Both guys have told in the pre-fight interview that they will stand and bang. Let's see how that turns out. The bell rings and the fight is underway! Both fighters come out really aggressive! It looks like a cartoon fight becouse both guys are swinging away with everything they got. Evans cracks Ubereem with a solid uppercut and rocks him! Ubereem goes down but Evans doesn't want to go to the ground and finish him! A missed opportunity there I think. Ref stand Ubereem up they start banging again. Ubereem gets hes marbles back together and returns the favor for Evans by landing a nice three punch combo that cuts Evans. Damn, very nice action here indeed! Both guys really wants to finish this but I guess they have really good chins. After three VERY exiting rounds we have a decision. Both guys have raised their hands but after they hear the result both guys are looking to be in disbelief. It's a draw!! After the fight both guys agreed to meet again in a rematch in Crashforce.13.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3 rounds of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision.
Judge Andi Peters scores the fight 29:29

SHW bout: Orlando Church (0-1) Vs George Gonzalez (0-1):

It's time to settle a fight between two big boys. Both guys have lost their first fights in their professional careers. Which one will celebrate their first victory today? The fighters meet in the middle of the ring in the staredown. Wow, tension is building as these dudes look like they're ready to bury each other. The ref starts the fight. Both guys starts very aggressive but can't really hit anything good. Church is looking for a muay thai plum. He gets it! But what, he let's go right away. Okay... Church goes for a clinch again and right after he gets it he leaves it. Hmm very odd gameplan indeed. People are getting restless here becouse nothing is happening. Gonzalez is waving at Church to stop playing around. Church goes for... a clinch. And leaves it again. What the hell? This same pattern happens the full three rounds and we go to judges score cards. After the decision Gonzalez looks stunned. He flips a finger to the face of Church but Church just laughs at him. Wow, that was one of the weirdest gameplans I have ever seen...
Win by unanimous decision... Orlando Church!
Fight rating: 100%!

Middleweight bout: Tuhnu Haukka (0-1) Vs Bapit Pradchapet (1-0):

When Haukka makes hes entrance it looks like hes been attacked by a crazed fan! Haukka looks calmly at this drunken monkey and chokes him to sleep with a quick standing guillotine! Oh snap, a law suit coming up I guess. Pradchapet on the other hand comes in with style! He has an afro wig on and cool shades with some thai style party clothes. Hes dancing hes way into the cage. Both guys looking calm and focused. The bell rings and we are underway. Pradchapet takes a nice thai stance and launches a half hearted high kick which misses but right after that he comes in with a vicious punch combo that cuts Haukka! Haukka is disgusted by the fact that he got cut already and shouts something in Finnish: "SAATANAPERKELE!" Dunno what that means but I bet hes cursing or something. Maybe he should pay attention to hes opponent becouse Pradchapet is coming again. He mixes hes punches really nice and lands with Anderson Silva-like accuracy! Haukka is out before he lands the canvas. Daaaamn sweet performance by Pradchapet! Haukka is on a stretcher going to hospital, or to jail.
After 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bapit Pradchapet!
Fight rating: 100%

Middleweight bout: Josef Mengele (1-1) Vs maarten aelterman (1-1):

We have an interesting match up in this one. Mengele is 55cm taller than hes opponent aelterman. Let's see how that works out for him. In the staredown Mengele has to actually stare down at hes opponent who looks like Bilbo Baggins, lol. The bell rings and we are underway. Suprisingly the tall monster Mengele shoots for a takedown right from the start but doesn't get it. Both fighter axchange punches. I think aelterman came on top of that one with hes solid liver shot. Good stuff! Mengele shoots again but can't get it this time either. The we see something really suprising: aelterman launches a head kick that connects beautifully. Damn he had to kick reaaally high! Mengele is cut and rocked!! For a split second he was astral travelling but now it seems hes back with us, barely. Aelterman gets to mount position where he starts landing punches, elbows, hammerfists, you name it. Back to the space ship mr.Mengele! Hes out! Aelterman jumps up and starts celebrating! That was an excellent finish, wow!
After 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). maarten aelterman!
Fight rating: 68%

LHW bout: Gabriel Gonzaga (1-0) Vs Hans Meier (1-0):

Gonzaga comes in with hes song roaring on the background. This dude looks really determined! No face expressions what so ever. Meier on the other hand looks a lot more relaxed. Hes high fiving the fans as he comes in. In the staredown Gonzaga jumps to Meiers face and starts talking trash. Thankfully we can't hear what he said Im sure its nothing nice. Meier just grins back, no effect there. The bell rings and the fight is underway! Gonzaga jumps all over Meier right from the start. Hes throwing kicks from all angles but can't connect anything. Meier sees this closing windmill and chooses to go for the MT plum. In he clinch Gonzaga is as aggressive. Hes throwing everything at Meier and this time he has land a few shots too. Meier doesn't want to have any of this and pulls guard successfully. He starts throwing hes legs up right away and sets up a loose triangle which Gonzaga defends nicely. Gonzaga leaves hes neck open and Meier goes for it! Wow, it looks tight. Can he get it?! Gonzagas face is as red as a strawberry but he refuses to tap. Gonzaga is... hes going to sleep! The ref has no choice but to stop the fight. Wow that was a fast submission.
After 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Hans Meier!
Fight rating: 47%

SHW bout: Justyn Smith (1-0) Vs Dylan Jakobs (1-0):

It's time for two super heavies to meet in the cage! Both guys are BJJ white belts so Im guessing we won't see much ground game today and when these big boys slug it out with the small gloves, anything can happen! The bell rings and we are underway! In the time of 0.5seconds of the first round we see a first takedown from Jakobs. Oh how I was wrong, again. Jakobs starts dropping some impressive gnp and cuts Smith!! And Smith is just laughing! Wow. Smith is trying to control but Jakobs is able to free hes hand and lands an elbow which opens the cut even more! Wooow now it's like from a horror movie, blood everywhere! Smith isn't laughing anymore. Hes trying to buck up Jakobs has a strong base. Jakobs drops a few more bombs before the ref stops the fight and calls the doctor in to the cage. That cut is naaaaaaaasty! Theres no way this fight is continuing, no way. And thats exactly what the doc says to ref. This one is aaaaall over!
After 2:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Dylan Jakobs!
Fight rating: 81%

Heavyweight bout: Kevin Andersen (1-1) Vs Hamilton Porter (1-1):

Andersen comes in with a huge entourage with him. Wow did he bring hes whole gym with him? Both fighters look focused in the staredown. Let's see how this one works out. The ref starts the fight and we are underway. Andersen goes for a takedown right from the start but doesn't get it. Porter softens him up with a few good shots to the head. Anderson wants none of the stand up game. Hes stance on fett looks a little awkward. It reminds me of Jake Shields lol. Andersen goes for another takedown but eats a shot to the eye socket doing that. Hes cut! Not a good start for him. The fight goes from the stand up to the clinch and to the ground but neither of the fighters can't get anything good done. The crowd is booing. Andersen hasn't thrown a single punch or kick in this fight. After three rounds of l'n'p and some pillow hand punches we go to the judges score cards.
Winner by unanimous decision... Kevin Andersen!
Fight rating: 84%

Middleweight bout: Savvas Costandinou (1-1) Vs Melvin Manhof (1-1):

Both fighters make their way in to the cage. After the staredown they shake hands and go to their corners and the ref starts the fight. The fighters meet in the middle. Both guys throw a cross at the same time and both connects! Costandinou has a better chin or more power behind hes punches becouse Manhof tumbles to the canvas and is cut! Costandinou just ate the punch and is unfaced. Costandinou goes to the ground but does nothing to the cut opponent. He just controls him. The ref stands them up and they go at it again. After three rounds of errr.. quite entertaining fight we go to the judges scorecards. After the fight both guys have heartbreaking news to tell: both fighters retires!! Whatta...? Well not a huge loss for the org I assume.
Winner by unanimous decision... Savvas Costandinou!
Fight rating: 89%

CO-MAIN EVENT:

Heavyweight bout: Paul Baller (2-0) Vs Josef Ahoinen (2-0):

It's time for our co-main event of the night! Baller has a significant reach advantage here. Both guys look pumped up as the ring announcer builds up the fight! No touching the gloves after the staredown. The bell rings and the fight is underway! Ahoinen runs from hes corner and drives through Baller and gets the takedown! Ahoinen works the body of Baller from the side. Hes softening hes opponent up. Baller looks like hes frustrated. Ahoinen drops few elbows that lands nicely. Baller tries to generate a scramble. He gets to a full guard! Baller is showing good jujitsu here against the superior wrestler. He throws hes legs up and is looking for a triangle. Ahoinen recognizes this and defends well but Baller throws hes hips to side and turns it to an armbar!! What a slick move! Baller cranks the hand and Ahoinen has no choice but to tap! Wow that was a lightning fast submission from Baller! Ahoinen gets really mad and rushes away from the cage a la Forrest Griffin. Too bad.
After 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Paul Baller!
Fight rating: 78%

MAIN EVENT:

Bantamweight bout: Shina Aoki (3-0) Vs Teppo Tuhkasaari (2-0):

In our main event we have two BJJ wizards going at it. Does their ground game nullify each other? Will we see a boxing match between these two submission artists? Aoki comes in with
building in the background. And ofcourse he has those rainbow spandex trousers on again. Unfortunately this stuff doesn't go down very well here in Amsterdam. On the other hand the crowd goes nuts when Tuhkasaari makes hes entrance. Most of them has seen this dude fight before and they know what he can do. In the staredown Tuhkasaari looks reaaally focused. Aoki has a stupid smile on hes face and when the ref asks these guys to touch gloves Aoki flips a finger at Tuhkasaari. Tuhkasaari didn't appreciate that too much. The bells rings and we are underway! Tuhkasaari lands a hard leg kick right away. Hes trying to take away the power from Aoki's takedowns I see. Aoki shoots but Tuhkasaari sprawls well. Tuhkasaari launches a picture perfect high kick which lands! Aoki is cut but not badly. Tuhkasaari keeps softening up hes opponents legs. He fakes a low kick and goes for a takedown of hes own and gets it. Thats the way it's done people!! Tuhkasaari is actively looking for submissions. He has improved hes position and now has Aoki's back! He sinks the arm under Aoki's chin and cranks! Aoki refuses to tap and is put to sleep! For a second I thought Tuhkasaari is going to flip a finger at hes unconscious opponent but he won't be that classy. Impressive victory for Tuhkasaari!
After 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Teppo Tuhkasaari
