Besides that you can more easily get a more dominant position. wrestling helps defend g-n-p, but g-n-p skill doesn't help defend g-n-p. " Yes, Elite Striking D won't help as much in the clinch if you have Useless MT and Useless Clinchwork, but Striking Defense helps both standing and in the clinch.
