I drafted quite similar to last year - prospects just outside of the top 15 who I thought had a lot of upside - i've picked most of the same again hoping that the talent will shine through. The only one I really picked up with a shot at a championship was Asu if he fights early against one of the top flyweights.  I wanted to avoid Islam Makhachev as I think this might be his last fight at LW before going up to WW and fighting the winner of Balal vs Shavkat. He will relinquish his belt rather than be a two weight champion. I think Umar vs Merab is a lot closer than most people have it. Merab has been the whos who at BW - where as Umar really only has Sandhagen.  Gonzasco went for a risk reward approach - He went for the three heir apparents with Umar, Tatiana and Khamzat - Khamzat is really the only risk because of whatever the hell he has going on that causes him to miss fights.  Butch also got two heir apparents in Kayla and Shavkat - as I said above I expect Islam vs Shavkat to round out the year in December after he deals with Belal. Got a couple of really good prospects in Oumar and Dulatov.  Angel went for the big first fight purse with Islam and snagged Ankalaev - Ankalaevs value is tied in with fighting Poatan in the summer. The only real risk is Poatan taking a fight in April and getting injured. Prates is one to watch climbing up the ranks as well as Jean Silva.  I expect it to be somewhat close again this year with all the picks - most of mine really depend on getting on the rankings and fighting 2-3 times this year.
