i personally would potentially keep if he has awesome other hiddens - especially high power So, more than likely i'd cut in most circumstances, but would likely keep if he had the heart, chin, power combo - low probability though.  All im saying is that it wouldnt necessarily be an insta-sack for me, i'd weight up the other shit too

If you are going to 0% morale after a loss I would dump, they might have some amazing hiddens elsewhere, they generally don't, but the hassle of getting all his morale back at every loss is not worth it imho, it really disrupts their training & as they age they'll start racking up losses faster which only compunds the morale regeneration losses.
