Alright, we're a week ahead of the creation date and we're at 6 out of the 10 minimum, 20 preferred fighters. That's not great. So, I'm guessing that the reason is that we're not huge fans of grappling. Understandable. 2 solutions to this; 1. We allow every manager to make 2 more fighters, which I'll personally struggle with due to my own roster space lol 2. We instead shift this to be an MMA tournament. We'll have a new sign-up period, I'll make a new thread. The name "Chonk-Jitsu" won't exactly fit so new org name. BUT. The rewards, concept & mostly everything else stays the same. @embalmer @Alfred @WanisOwns @NotMantas @Ynot (and to an extent @CelticStryder, @fivestripes10 and @venom09) What do y'all think?

Oh he definitely has what it takes to be champion, we're offended by the even the mere questioning of that. The question isnt can he become champion, the question is does he need to have a well deserved rest now. The team is wary of over fighting their blue chip prospect. Kezman has had by far the most fights out of any of in the org (excluding open ID guys of course) and is due some down time.

Tout Petit Gigante (409524) Post Fight Interview Interviewer: Tout Petit Gigante, congratulations on another first-round submission victory, but that was a battle right to the very end against a very resilient Taisei Sakuraba! What are your immediate reflections on that fight? Tout Petit Gigante: Credit to Taisei. He was a tough opponent. I had a couple of takedown attempts early that didn't land, and he came out more patient than I anticipated. He also landed a body kick early on, which showed me his game plan was to try and keep the fight standing and drag me into deep waters. That forced me to be more aggressive in pursuing the takedown and imposing my ground game. Interviewer: You did secure the takedown after a well-timed feint, but the submission took until the very last second of the round. What made this ground battle so challenging? Tout Petit Gigante: He was very savvy on the ground, defended well, and forced me to adjust my attacks. I had to be patient, maintain pressure, and really hunt for that opening. It wasn't as straightforward as I've become accustomed to, and that's a testament to his skill. It was a valuable experience for me. Interviewer: We know Martinez and Soares fight for the title on May 10th. You've expressed a desire to fight on May 3rd, or even on the same card as the title fight on May 10th. Why the desire to fight so close to, or even during, such a pivotal event? Tout Petit Gigante: For me, it's about staying sharp and maintaining momentum. The fight on May 10th will determine who holds the title, and I want to be ready to face either of them at their absolute best. Sitting on the sidelines for weeks isn't my style. I feel best when I'm active. Fighting on May 3rd, or even on the same card as the title fight, keeps me focused and in fight rhythm. It ensures I go into that pivotal matchup at my absolute peak. Interviewer: Looking at potential opponents for that May 3rd fight, or even a fight on the May 10th card, are there any names that particularly intrigue you? Tout Petit Gigante: Absolutely. There are a few fighters who could provide a good challenge. Graham Grant is one that comes to mind. He's 7-2, coming off a first-round submission victory, and like myself, he's 2-0 in UFF. That kind of matchup makes sense. We're both riding similar momentum and have a knack for finishing fights. That would be an exciting fight to test myself and further prepare for a potential title shot. Interviewer: Tout Petit Gigante, that's a very confident approach with a potential title shot looming. Graham Grant certainly sounds like an interesting matchup. We'll be watching closely for news of this potential fight on May 3rd or May 10th. Congratulations again on your victory tonight. Hopefully, that fight offer lands within the next few days. First, the focus will be on adjusting back to Hilo time, and then training camp starts on Tuesday, with Tout helping Dje prepare for his title shot.. Once everything is confirmed, another interview will be scheduled.
