Moses Diggs Biography brought to you by Convicted Inc only on VERSUS

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/40/40b25.jpg

Born & raised in Miami, Moses Diggs was a stand out highschool athlete who received numerous scholarship offers to play collegiate football. At 5'11 and 213 lbs Moses was quite the athletic specimen & highly recruited by some major football programs, however this bluechip Running Back wasn't your typical student athlete & was known for a history of violence and off the field issues. During his senior season, he was arrested and convicted for drug possession/attempt to sell charges & Battery on a LEO (Law Enforcement Officer) and sentenced to a year & nine months. After his prison term, his life continued on much like something out of a Grand Theft Auto video game. Hustling & struggling all his life, Moses finally got tired of bustin' caps in peoples asses & aimed to be a better person once he turned his aggression towards training & transitioned from Thuggin' & Pimpin' to the professional sport of Mixed Martial Arts.

The camera fades away from Moses Diggs face & his tattoo'd tear drops, his entrance song, "I'M ALL IN" by Frank Lini playing in the background

Reporter "We're here with current knockout artist & LHW Champion of America's Most Wanted - an upcoming organization in Los Angeles. How do you do?"

Moses Diggs "Doin' good, doin' good. Just preparing for my upcoming fight."

Reporter "Let's talk about your fight history. You've had some controversy early in your career, starting with a 3 round (Majority) Decision loss to Jack Jackson back at AMW 3 - Punishment."

Moses Diggs "I won that fight - I felt like I won it. I know I gassed out midway through the second round but I kept goin'. I was really surprised by the scorecards & upset about the decision for awhile."

Reporter "How do you feel about that fight now?"

Moses Diggs "I still feel like I did at the time - I feel like I won that fight, but it was most definitely a learnin' experience for me. I feel like the name of the event had a more biblical meanin' to it. I think the judges were blinded by God's divine justice & them scoring the fight the way they did - givin' him the decision, was a way to pay me back for bad choices that I have made, it was a way to punish me y'know? Punishment for mistakes I made in MY life. I wouldn't change it for nothin' & it was truly a humblin' experience."

Reporter "How did that humbling experience affect you as a person and a fighter?"

Moses Diggs "You learn from your mistakes, I did... and it brought out the best of Moses Diggs."

Reporter "You say this now, should I remind you about the incident that resulted in a NC in what was supposed to be your first rematch with Jack Jackson before AMW 5 back in July, 2010?"

Moses Diggs "I'll admit it, I was still pissed off about the decision & this guy was prancing around like he was the better fighter then me. We were suppose to be the co-main event & we were at a press conference a couple weeks prior to fight night - you know, to hype the fight & all. I was hot headed & he was runnin' his mouth, I lost my cool & hit him. I kinda snapped. I just couldn't wait til fight night. It was just a simple childish mistake, like a temper tantrum. Nothin' more than that."

Reporter "A temper tantrum that resulted in an indefinite suspension, multiple fines, & a fractured jaw that sidelined Jack Jackson for over a month. There were talks that your fighting career was over with after that. Do you think it was worth it?"

Moses Diggs "At the time it felt like it was ha... no, seriously though, hell na. It wasn't worth it. Not at all. Fortunately everything turned out how it did & my manager has a way with the California State Athletic Commission & we got it worked out. However there weren't many organizations jumpin' out their seats to have me fight for their promotion after my release from AMW. But Chris Karter & the crew were able to find me opponents & get me on the Convicted fight cards."

Reporter "Who would of ever thought that Moses Diggs, the ex-con who cheap shotted another fighter at a live AMW press conference would of continued to fight professionally, and who would of ever predicted that the same Moses Diggs would return to AMW, the same organization he was once released from, and become the Light Heavyweight Champ?"

Moses Diggs "First off, the same Moses Diggs didn't return to AMW. I learned, I grew up a little, I made the most of the second chance I was given. I can't say enough about Danny Caldera (America's Most Wanted's President & Owner) he is a great guy & very understanding, and a lot of people have the situation confused. Chris & Dan both agreed after the incident that a change of scenery was necessary til things cooled off. It was a pre-negotiated temporary release, & the terms were that I'd return. I wasn't banned, it was nothin' like that. He wasn't happy, hell nobody was, but what's in the past is in the past. I can only train today & prepare for tomorrow - I'm just glad I was given that opportunity & he was so willing to continue workin' with me."

Reporter "You're coming off your first title defense, a first round TKO (kicks & punches) victory over your nemesis, Jack Jackson, avenging your only loss. How good did that feel?"

Moses Diggs "Revenge is the sweetest joy next to gettin' pussy. It felt great to knock him out again - in the cage this time. His momma aint raise no slouch though. That guy's tough."

Reporter "Right you are, so how are you preparing for your rematch with Tatanka Blackfoot?"

Moses Diggs "I've really been workin' on my wrestling. Yeah he caught me on the lip early in our last fight & made me bleed a lil bit, but I aint too much worried bout em on the feet. I'm gonna keep the fight standin' at all cost & knock him out again."

Reporter "If you defend your title, what's next for Moses Diggs?"

Moses Diggs "He'll be gettin' back into Convicted Fight Club & trainin' for his next opponent. There's two undefeated 5-0 guys in the LHW division at the moment, so maybe one of them might be a contender for the title. Who knows. But I wouldn't mind steppin' up to Heavyweight & takin' on the champ in a catch-weight fight."

Reporter "Moving up a weight class? Now that's a shocker & a tad bit surprising. All the rumors say that you consider dropping down to Middle Weight? Why move up?"

Moses Diggs "I don't know man, why not? Bigger challenge? It wouldn't be a permanent career move, I'm just sayin' I'm open for fighting the Heavyweight champ if Danny can't find any LHW's to get in the cage with me."

Reporter "Understandable. Now time for a couple miscellaneous questions. What's an interesting fact about you as a person, that you'd want MMA fans to know?"

Moses Diggs "I love dogs. I also believe in redemption & accept the fact that Mixed Martial Arts prolly saved my life."

Reporter "What kind of dog? What's it's name?"

Moses Diggs "Romper Stomper; but most the time I call his big black ass Dozer. He's a rotweiler."

Reporter "What's an interesting fact about you as a fighter?"

Moses Diggs "I aint ever fought somebody shorter then me."

Reporter "It's been a pleasure Moses, we hope you continue to have a successful career. Good luck in your upcoming title fight and we hope to speak with you soon."

Moses Diggs "You too. Take it easy."

(for the record, Jack Jackson NC a fight with Moses Diggs way back in July or June. So the background story is just "flavor" to the NC stuck on my record cuz of him)

Tatanka Blackfoot after taking a 3 round beatdown from Moses Diggs on 12/31/10

http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t287/sfmwp13/asskickmoses.jpg

Reporter "We're sitting here with America's Most Wanted Light Heavyweight champion, Moses Diggs. Coming off another successful title defense from AMW 26, how are you feeling Moses?"

Moses Diggs "Couldn't feel better."

Reporter "Your last fight was a rematch with Tatana Blackfoot, a fighter you knocked out with a brutal headkick in 1:37 seconds in your first meeting. This fight you knocked him down early & he was all over the place on wobbly legs, but this time it lasted a little longer."

Moses Diggs "When I'm comin into these fights, I usually get pretty nervous til I step in the cage. I train a lot, I train hard, and at night I just dream about all the possible scenerios for my next fight.. anyway, when I got in there and I landed that big combo that floored him, I knew I had him so I kinda let up a lil bit. He showed a lot of heart gettin up, gettin hit, & moving forward, but I wasn't gonna not try to finish the fight. I was gonna make him wish he never stepped back in the cage with me ever again. "

Reporter "You did just that, you displayed a brutal, one-sided, three round beatdown before the doctors intervened, do you feel the stoppage was necessary?

Moses Diggs "Honestly there's no doubt in my mind 'bout it, I think everybody out there knows that the stoppage was necessary."

Reporter "That win brings your record to 8-1, and your next opponent is Macon 'Sweet Daddy' Jefferson who's only 3-0, but he's already dubbed your toughest challenge yet, do you think it's because all of his fights we're stopped in the first round? - what do you have to say about that?

Moses Diggs "Y'know, he's just another opponent for me. He hasn't been out the first round, he's ended all his fights in that first two minutes, and when you go out and do that, it gets you noticed - plain and simple. I'm lookin' forward to the challenge."

Reporter "What would you say is your biggest advantage coming into this fight?"

Moses Diggs "I'm 8-1, I've finished plenty of fights in the first round, I've also been past the first round - I've been to the judges. I think my experience is by far my biggest advantage goin' into this fight."

Reporter "How do you see this fight going?"

Moses Diggs "I think this guy is gonna want to clinch up with me, try to get in my grill & wear me out. I know he's got great cardio, but I've been goin all out in the gym every damn day. I plan on lettin it all hang out in the cage no matter what. Hopefully I can put him away early, get paid, and go party my night away. But if we gotta go toe to toe for 5 rounds, then I'll be prepared to do that too."

Reporter "We appreciate your time and wish you the best of luck. Remember folks, tune in to AMW 30 on January 28th to see this fight go down live. Expect fireworks we're anticipating a great match because both fighters are known as knockout specialist. Will we see an early finish, or will we see an exciting 5 round brawl? Only time will tell, until next time..."

Interview with Moses Diggs outside of Convicted Fight Club (Not Guilty Fight until March 1st)

discussing his last win vs previously unbeaten Macon Jefferson on AMW 30 - Diggs vs. Jefferson, training, and fellow Convicted Inc fighter's...

Reporter "Once again we're privileged enough to sit down with AMW's Light Heavyweight champion, Moses Diggs. Coming off his third consecutive title defense, thank you for coming outside for this interview."

Moses Diggs "Not a problem."

Reporter "First off, let's discuss your last title defense against 'Sweet Daddy' Macon Jefferson. He was 3-0 with 3 knockouts within the first two minutes before stepping into the cage with you. You said your biggest advantage was experience, and you dictated the pace picking your opponent apart with a clinical display of boxing. Do you think you can credit your in cage experience as a key to your decisive victory?"

Moses Diggs "I think I can. I had a great training camp at Convicted Fight Club comin' into the fight. A lot of people assumed he had more in his gas tank but they've never seen him go past round 1. I'm in great shape now and I'm only gettin' better."

Reporter "Although you dominated 4 out of the 5 rounds, it appeared you were cut late in the first round. Round 2 you came out swinging and Jefferson clinched you up and put your back against the cage - it was clear despite his reach advantage he wasn't going to just stand on the outside and just go blow for blow with you. He brought the fight to you in round two and landed some shots that did a lot of damage busting you up pretty good. You were a bloody mess. What was going through your mind after that second round?"

Moses Diggs "It looked like I was gettin my ass kicked. I glanced up at the video screen when I went to my corner and saw the blood pouring down my face, I thought I looked like Leon Kaiser Bloodbath version 2.0. He landed a knee that busted that cut wide open. The referee had the doctor come over & check it out."

Reporter "We saw you say something to him when he was poking at it -"

Moses Diggs "Don't stop it. Wiped the blood from my face & told him I can see fine. I said you better let me fight."

Reporter "I bet you're happy that he didn't because you dominated the fight from there on out. You're on an 8 fight win streak, what have been the keys to your success?"

Moses Diggs "Hahaha there was so much blood gettin' into my eyes I couldn't see shit but I wanted to fight, anybody can be caught, have an off night, get screwed by the judges ;) shit happens. Jefferson's a tough son of a bitch I hit him with a lot of solid shots, I just played it smart stuck to the gameplan & out boxed him. I gotta thank Chris Karter, Wayne Washington my kickboxing coach, my clinchwork coach Forest Foley, my strength & conditioning coach Edwardo Frost - and the rest of the Convicted Fight Club team all for gettin' my ass physically & mentally ready to step into the cage. Game's half mental. Whether it's bein' in the right state of mind when you get into the cage or gettin' your mind right to train n' prepare properly prior to the fight. You gotta be there mentally when it comes to fight time."

Reporter "So what's next, who's your next victim at Light Heavyweight? Sources reported that it's blackbelt Damien Blockhead (7-1) who's on a 3 fight win streak in AMW."

Moses Diggs "Yesterday Chris faxed me that fight offer, it's already accepted on my behalf and returned to Danny. I'm ready to fight, just waiting on Blockhead to accept or decline."

Reporter "What are your thoughts on your potential opponent?"

Moses Diggs "Chris said he's an Abu Dhabi champ, that he's got his black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. In his last win he rocked a Finnish fighter on the feet who has a professional boxing background & managed to pound him out on the ground in the first round. This guy's a great all around fighter, he can do a lil bit of it all but his biggest threat to me has to be on the ground. I'm a blue belt, he's a black belt. He's got a win over a fighter that has a win over me, but I have a win over a fighter that's knocked him out. He's a hairy bastard but I won't underestimate him for that."

Reporter "So sounds like you did some research?"

Moses Diggs "Yeah I did my homework."

Reporter "Sounds like it could be a good one if he accepts the fight. Enough about Moses Diggs. Mind answering some questions about other fighters training at Convicted Fight Club?"

Moses Diggs "Na not really. Guess it depends on the questions. Gotta make it quick though, I need to get home & get my beauty sleep."

Reporter "Ah okay. Nothing personal. Fellow Convicted fighter, "The Godfather" Don Marciano, undefeated, (13-0, 11 KO's) is fighting Tokyo's #1 ranked Heavyweight fighter Son Goku (10-0, 7 KO's), who's also undefeated at ONI's PPV Anniversary event in Tokyo at the Nippon Judokan arena which could potentially seat 14,000 in attendance. What are your thoughts about Don and give us a prediction for the fight?"

Moses Diggs "Of course ya'll would ask me about him, I know how he don't really talk to the media. Well Don is a big bad man. The guy is a made man and still steppin' into the cage for a professional living just to fight. He loves fighting, I don't think he enjoys training as much. He's like twice my size so it's always a real pain the ass when we get in there and spar, but I hold my own. Moses does his thing ha... I gotta go with Don in that one, it's gonna be a huge fight, maybe one of the best Tokyo's ever seen but I'm gonna go with Marciano by knockout in the 3rd round."

Reporter "He's starting to establish himself as one of the top Heavyweights in the world, a win would surely solidify this statement. We thank you for your time, don't want to interfere with your schedule too much more. Best of luck in the future and we'll catch up with you later... Moses Diggs everybody, America's Most Wanted's defending Light Heavyweight champion. It's been a pleasure."

First of all, I didn't realize this before and forgot about it, but Moses Diggs is a pyschic.

On his first class flight to Tokyo, Moses Diggs was asked some questions about his upcoming fight with Jeremy Tonal...

Reporter: "You're on your way to Tokyo, about to participate in the biggest fight of your career. How do you feel right now?"

Moses Diggs: "Bored as hell. I can't believe they don't got Xbox 360. This is suppose to be a first class flight. Seriously, it's 2012, and they're playin Gone in 60 seconds? Angelina Jolie's a fine ass white girl but I can't stand seein' Nicolas Cage rub up on that. She wants some BBC, she don't want none of that. She needs some Moses in her life. There's a reason why she aint adopting lil white babies."

Reporter: "Well... what about Jeremy Tonal?"

Moses Diggs: "What about him?"

Reporter: "Anything you want to say?"

Moses Diggs: "Yeah I want an Xbox 360 on every first class flight.. and it wouldn't kill anybody to get a stripper pole either. You know how much money that'd generate? Especially on these long ass flights."

Reporter: "Damn it Moses, is there anything you want to say about Jeremy Tonal?

Moses Diggs shook his head no.

Reporter: "It's the toughest fight of your career, why not? You don't have anything to say at all?"

Moses Diggs: "Is there anything he wants to say about me?"

Brief moment of silence...

Moses Diggs: "I don't even know who he is."

Reporter: "C'mon now, anybody involved with MMA knows who he is."

Moses Diggs: "I already told you I don't know who the hell that is. I have 4 championship belts, how many does he have? I'm the AMW LHW champ, Konflikt LHW champ, Prestige LHW champ, Blitz: Rio LHW champ. He should be talkin about me, I'll throw you off this god damn plane into the Atlantic ocean if you ask me that again."

the reporter shocked, but tempted, chose not to respond and sat in silence.

Chris Karter: "Pacific ocean."

Moses Diggs: "Huh?"

Chris Karter: "Atlantic's on the other side. We're over the Pacific ocean."

Moses turns back to the reporter...

Moses Diggs: "I'll throw you off this god damn plane into the Pacific ocean. There's sharks out there, they love reporter meat. You wanna be shark food? Ask me about him one more time, one more fuckin --- say Tonal again, I dare you, say Tonal again mother fucker, say Tonal again!"

Moses stood up and intimidated the reporter. The reporter was cowering but Chris Karter sat there casually, reading the most recent addition of Tycoon Times

Chris Karter: "You gotta talk about him man, it's in your contract."

Moses Diggs: "What?"

Chris Karter: "Pay Per View events; you gotta hype the fight man. It's in your contract."

Moses Diggs: "I didn't read that."

Chris Karter: "I'm sure you didn't read shit past signing bonus, base pay, & win bonus. If you fuck this up they're gonna take a chunk out of your paycheck."

Moses Diggs: "I gotta pay child support on 9 kids man, I can't afford them to take shit. Hey look, reporter, ay man I was just fuckin around. I didn't mean it. C'mon, come here, let's start over."

So the reporter agreed, he had a job to do after all, and later released this video to his bosses at Blitzkrieg: Rio

Reporter: "We're here with Moses Diggs the current Blitzkrieg: Rio Light Heavyweight Champion. How are you?"

Moses Diggs: "Good, I'm ready to kick some ass and party with some japs."

Reporter: "You're taking on the #1 P4P fighter in the world, Jeremy Tonal, in the Tokyo Bowl in front of 42,000 fans. This is the biggest challenge of your career, would you agree?"

Moses Diggs: "Of course, absolutely. Tonal's a beast. King Kong's takin' on Godzilla."

Reporter: "How do you prepare for this fight, do you alter your gameplan for a fighter like this?"

Moses Diggs: "He might be one of the best fighters in the world but that doesn't change my gameplan at all. I've said it before, and I'll say it again after I win, I am a baaaad man! I'm really lookin forward to kickin his ass."

Reporter: "Your fans would agree. But Tonal is a Hall of Famer at 28 years old. In over 30 fights he's been submitted twice, but he's never been knocked out. Do you think you'll be able to stop him?"

Moses Diggs: "I'm gonna knock that mean ass look off his face. I'm gonna hit him so hard his terrorist cousins in Africa are gonna feel it. Seriously, if he has any relatives in Al Qaeda, those lil fuckers are gonna feel my fist smashing his face. I'm gonna drop bombs -"

A random passenger got up & made his way towards Moses, interrupting the interview

U.S. Marshal: "Sir you can't say that I'm gonna have to ask you to stop."

Moses Diggs: "Who the hell are you?"

U.S. Marshal: "I'm one of several U.S. Marshal's on this flight and I'm letting you know that you can't say that stuff."

The Marshal shows Moses his badge

Moses Diggs: "I can't say terrorist?"

U.S. Marshal: "No sir you can't say that either."

Moses Diggs: "What else can't I say? Bomb? What - I can't say bomb?"

U.S. Marshal: "Sir I warned you. You can't say that."

Moses Diggs: "Why the fuck can't I say bomb?"

U.S. Marshal: "I'm warning you."

Moses Diggs: "You're warnin me? You're warning me? I'll throw you off this fuckin' plane. Into the Pacific. Bombs away mother fucker. How you wanna go there?"

U.S. Marshal: "Sir calm down now! I'm not gonna ask you again!"

The Marshal pulled out his taste gun and aimed it at Moses Diggs. Chris Karter was laughing & knew this was gonna go bad very quickly but he just sat there & enjoyed the show

Moses Diggs: "I got two bombs strapped to my dick!"

U.S. Marshal: "This is your last warning!"

Several other U.S. Marshal's had gathered around aiming their tasers towards him...

Moses Diggs: "I'll blow this mother fucker up!"

The U.S. Marshal finally pulled the trigger and shot Moses right in the chest. 50,000 volts of electricity shocking his body. Unfortunately it sent him into a rage and he bull rushed the Marshal who tased him and ended up standing over him throwing punches. Diggs was hit with several other taser prongs & hit the floor. Laying on his back, recovering from 50,000 volts of electricity entering his body from 3 different tasers, and as he started pulling the prongs out the Marshal he socked in the face decided to pepper spray Moses while he was down. The men placed him in handcuffs, despite heavy resistance, and decided to detain Chris Karter too. After a brief interrogation and double checking their ID's, they discovered who the two were. Once they found out Moses Diggs was on his way to Tokyo to fight Jeremy Tonal, the Marshal's laughed & decided not to file charges because, "Fighting Jeremy Tonal is punishment enough. We can't wait to see Moses get his ass kicked". Although no charges were filed, they kept Moses isolated and detained until they touched down in Japan.

Very unprofessional for management to let Moses Diggs behave that way, sustain injury, and possibly even jeopardize the main event of one of the biggest cards of the year. Just the distraction alone and negative publicity in the media could cause immense problems for Blitz Rio and makes MMA look thuggish to the general public. :sad01_anim:

I wonder if the rumble will affect Diggs during the match? Are there any updates on his current condition? A big win and the public will forget all about this incident.

LMAO@ the "two bombs strapped to my dick" and "child support on 9 kids" comments.

2/10/2012: Rumors were circulating the internet that Moses Diggs was involved in an altercation with several U.S. Marshal's on his first class flight to Tokyo, Japan but no charges were filed. Reporter Jon Fujuki heard the news and caught up with Moses Diggs manager Chris Karter at the Blue Note Tokyo restaurant.

Jon Fujuki: "Hello Chris Karter."

Chris Karter: "Konichiwa."

Jon Fujuki: "Thanks for giving the time to me for the interview. Many fans have many questions."

Chris Karter: "They always do haha." He poked his fork into that entree, Pan Fried Japanese Chicken Breast with some Foie-Gras, served with Potato & truffle sauce on the side.

Jon Fujuki: "Ah yes, can you tell the viewers what happened on Flight 723?"

Chris Karter: "Minor altercations, technical difficulties, the usual."

Jon Fujuki: "It was said that the fighter was tased and pepper sprayed. Is this true?"

Chris Karter: "Yeah pretty much."

Jon Fujuki: "Why?"

Chris Karter: "He just don't know how to act lately."

Jon Fujuki: "What happened?"

Chris Karter: "He's black."

Jon Fujuki: "Elaborate?"

Chris Karter: "He has a problem with authority. Kinda got that fight-the-man thing going on."

Jon Fujuki: "People want to know, you were there, why did you not intervene and prevent said altercation?"

Chris Karter: "I'm 5'9" and 160 lbs. Honestly, what the hell am I gonna do? Hahaha."

Jon Fujuki: "Any updates on his condition? Will he be able to fight?"

Chris Karter: "He'll be fine."

Jon Fujuki: "How will this effect him tonight, before the biggest fight of his life?"

Chris Karter: "Hopefully it pisses him off. Jeremy Tonal is one of the best fighters in the history of MMA, he really needs to bring his A game if he wants to win tonight."

Jon Fujuki: "As his manager what advice do you give to him?"

Chris Karter: "He really don't listen, he's a grown man he's gonna do what he wants, say what he wants. I just try to keep him out of trouble. Hopefully he learned his lesson. We usually take our company jet, but there were some issues refueling and we wouldn't of been able to leave til later tonight, so we boarded the first flight we could to get him over here. Didn't turn out to well."

Jon Fujuki: "What are the roots of his issues? He's had controversy following him the majority of his career, a sucker punch to the face of a fighter before a fight, that left Jack Jackson injured with a broken jaw and resulted in the fight being ruled a NC and Diggs release from AMW at the time."

Chris Karter: "That really aint his fault. I mean yeah, it is, it was unprofessional, but Jackson was really pushing his buttons and he asked for it in more than one way. Granted - that doesn't make it right, but until recently he was maintaining a lot more self control."

Jon Fujuki: "When did you notice a change, what happened to cause the transgression in his behavior?"

Chris Karter: "Honestly I think it's all the damn media in his face. You fuckers are everywhere, always asking questions, shoving camera's in people's faces. He's got a chip on his shoulder. You take somebody who's came from nothing, let me remind everybody that he has worked his ass off to get where he is today. Honestly no fighter I manage trains harder than him. He never shows up late, always on time, he puts in the work. Then you throw the media in there; constantly asking him about other fighters, expecting him to hype his fights up and talk trash, not being happy with the responses he gives or taking no for an answer when he don't wanna answer all the damn questions he gets asked. With the hype comes a lot of pressure, I don't think he knows how to handle it outside the cage yet. You can't handle every fighter the same way, some react differently to certain things, certain questions, some are easily annoyed - sometimes he tries to talk to the reporters like they're his friends and that's just not the case. Moses Diggs is like a literate version of Mike Tyson in his prime - but he has his moments and there's plenty of room for improvement in his social skills."

Jon Fujuki: "That was a very in-depth reply, there have been rumors that he's on drugs - hence his violent reactions - is this true?"

Chris Karter: "On the contrary, he has his medical marijuana card in the state of California, but he stops taking his medication a week or two before a fight to expand his lung capacity. He's a lot more peaceful when he's on his natural herbal medication. We've tried to get him to take alternative methods of consumption, but he likes to save it for after the fight."

Jon Fujuki: "How has his training camp went for this fight against Jeremy Tonal?"

Chris Karter: "Great. Training went great. Like I said, he's a really hard worker, dedicated to the sport. Mentally he's just a bit unstable."

Jon Fujuki: "Do you think he's prepared?"

Chris Karter: "Yeah, definitely prepared. He's never been to Tokyo though, so as long as he doesn't get distracted or lost, I think he'll be fine."

Jon Fujuki: "How will Moses Diggs win this fight?"

Chris Karter: "Keep it standing. If he has any advantage at all, it'll be on the feet. He's like a turtle on his back so I've been telling him to stay off the ground, apply pressure, stick & move, don't rely on brute force alone, y'know? Mix some technique in there. Fight the smarter fight but in the end, do whatever it takes to win."

Jon Fujuki: "Do you think he'll stick to the gameplan?"

Chris Karter: "Who knows. He's got great takedown defense so I'll be surprised if Tonal can take him down. But he'll prolly come out swinging, it's what he does. Guess we'll find out tonight." as he polished off the remainder of his meal, he raised his hand and paid his tab. He shook the reporters hand and left.
