Hey guys, welcome to Team KAISER Season 1!

Ryan from 5th Round was the first who had the idea of recruiting and sponsoring a fight team (my boy Gegard Houllebecq was a part of it)... as he announced it, i was instantly in love with the idea, but i somehow felt bad about copying it right away. Now the 5th Round Team is inactive since quite a while and also Ryan seems to leave the game... i had discussions with other team members already who supported/encouraged me to give it a try myself now... with a different twist though. Here we go...

20 fighters, that's the current aim... all will recieve a 5k/60 days sponsoring contract and some shirt freebies. 2 month, that's how long season 1 will take... after that i will put up a voting thread to determine "KO of the season", "Sub of the season", "Fight of the season" and "Promotion of the season", decided by team vote. The award winning managers will recieve 25k each.

Promotion of the season? Yap... i want managers in the team that enjoy documenting their progress here on forum... and managers that enjoy reading such stuff from others. I don't want just 20 guys i sponsor, i want a real team and a vivid discussion here. Upcoming fight hype, promos, recommendations, discuss future moves and so on as a team. This is my primary aim... and if that's isn't something you are interested in, please just give me a pm and i will sponsor your guy(s), no prob at all, but the fight team is nothing for you then.

What kind of fighters? I want your golden boys, i want the guys you enjoy fighting with most, you have high hopes in... they guys you love to brag with... and rant about their failures. Unhyped 1-0-0 guys (but actively fighting), beasts, champs of notable orgs... it does not matter, i want a mixed gang, guys at different stages of their career, a homogenous squad.

What i demand furthermore... well, not much. A free sponsor slot obv. No shoutouts needed, this system just makes sense for fighters in KAISER's home org (Ascension), otherwise you kinda waste an opportunity to hype your guys, so... i don't mind a shoutout lol, it's nice, but really no must at all. Still i want your guys to wear at least a shirt from my store. Like i said already, most important is that you enjoy participating here in forum.

With the right team, this format has huge potential, sky is the limit... i already have more ideas i will keep you updated on, some maybe aren't realistic (but fun and fabulous rofl), but well, we'll see what's possible when we start here and in season 2. Feel free to share your thoughts and ideas here!

So long... looking forward to your applications here in this thread!

You can have Nino if you want and Tyrion for next season, he should be actively fighting by then.

Im no good at promotion though, I'll try :/. He would fill the low end of the totem pole for kaiser.

Sure man, welcome on board! It's not at all about quality(/quantitiy) of promotion or some, just about having some fun with it and joining the discussion here.

My top prospect, currently 1-0-0, (2-0-0)

I'd love to put him in team Kaiser and to

document his progress here on the forum.

Omar “Riddum” Cluzet was born in Paris, France and is the only child in his family.

Cluzet started to wrestle when he was 5 years old and right from the start people noticed that it was something special with this kid. He was revered for his extraordinary strength and unprecedented success in his childhood competition. When he was 16 he had been competing in over 200 wrestling matches and only lost one of these against a 3 year older boy.

He was introduced to MMA for the first time when he saw the SF90: Marciano Vs. Shakur PPV! title fights on PPV with a friend. From that moment he knew he would compete in MMA someday. A few weeks after he joined a local MMA gym. His coaches where all impressed by his performance and one coach even said "No one can 'andle hiz riddum!".

At the age of 18 he had his first fight, Omar utilized his wrestling to control the pace of the fight and managed to get a victory by decision. Shortly after his first fight he joined Team KAISER and now has his second fight scheduled for 2013-05-04, against Daryl “Hunter” Preston.

Another decision victory for Mr. Cluzet.

Would love to join the Kaiser fight team. I'm mostly training some projects right now but I do have an active fighter that I think would be a good fit.

"The Ghost" David Styles HW 1-0

Fights in the 200k+ restricted Armaggedon Org. in New York. I've been trying to be active with the smack talk. I think he may be my slowest learner but every fighter can't be perfect. He was made to be very adaptable and be able to fight standing or on the ground.

Great team shirts as well, Roger.

I was going to offer up Harald Friedricksen for this but then I saw Alexander Krutov in here. Since my boy Aleksander Yaroslev beat the snot out of Krutov and Yaroslev is much more likely to talk shit than Friedricksen is then I would like to add:

(Clicking either the picture or the name will take you to the profile page)

"The Russian Bear" Aleksander Yaroslev: The Russian bear is here to, "How you say? Kick ass and chew bubblegum. And I am all out of bubblegum!"

(Thanks Roger... this sounds like a blast)

Verbal Aoki will have a free sponsor slot in 13 days. Than another in 35 days. You can have both slots.

Maybe the 13 days company is willing to cancel the contract a week earlier, otherwise, well, i can live with that, too. But try to get it canceled first (edit: does not do harm to the sponsoring company, i asked Mike a while ago). I just need one slot... i think double slots aren't even possible, never tried.

Currently plan on starting May 1st, but we'll see.

Guys, i don't expect you to put massive work in this, don't worry. Some will go the roleplaying route, some will write a basic fight preview/review, some talk about career/training plans, such stuff. Depends all on your preferences. But announce upcoming fights at least. Still of course i will keep the option of not renewing the contract in season 2 in case there is no gain to this thread/the team and by that make room for other managers to participate.

This concept is way better than the last one. I felt like it was a great idea, but being so tied to the company kind of dragged me away from it. This time, I had a hard time picking a fighter for it. Majority of them are just committed to train a lot and stuff like that. I've got maybe 2 or 3 options right now. One of them is kinda ready to get back to fighting but the other is a free agent with a lot of history and I was trying to make a history out of it. So I'd like to introduce you to a former punk named Dan Hardly.

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/2/2w13.jpg

He used to be called "Left Hook" (even tough he never finished or rocked someone with that kind of punch). Used to have a red mohawk and just fight whoever they asked and for whatever reason. He started his career with 22 years old and after 12 years, he's ready to recreate himself. 3 managers were with him, the last one being Kurt Triangle and after fighting and arguing a lot with those guys, he decided to quit being that punk. Not because that was his personality, but because he was never anything like that. He just wanted to enjoy the process and being a punk never was something he needed or planned to do. He decided to shave the mohawk and let his real hair grow. He just didn't care for those stuff. He only focused on getting a good team where he could feel welcome and help them develop the same way they would help him raise again. That led his friends to call him "The Ancestor", a nickname that he decided to use until the end of his career.

Hardly fought as a welterweight and lightweight for the majority of his career, but he just feels like fighting around the 155 lbs mark right now. When he asked Dovik about joining his camp, he was received with open arms and his knowledge would help a lot of young guys there. And so he went, leaving all that past behind. He still has the scars of many wars (victories or defeats) but he will carry what mattered the most of those days. After joining the new team, Hardly was still stuck to a contract in Hilo, but he never wanted to stay there. He's looking forward into making a big deal and facing some good guys out there.

"Yeah, my record became a shitty one (30-20) and I do not want to become a Bob Sapp. I want to fight as long as my body hangs it but I'll fight for the glory, not the pay check. I'll fight for wins and maybe even titles. I know I still have it and I know it will be a new day when I enter a cage or ring for the next time. I hope to share with all of you my new path towards redemption. I'll retire soon, but I want to have the most of my last days. I hope to make Team Dovik and Team Kaiser proud."

Hey man, I'd love to get one of my fighters into the team.

http://www.mmatycoon....php?FID=205377

Bukh was the 6th fighter I created, as a newb manager. I created him specifically as a 20 year old for the no-loss energy QFC tournament, and he won, bringing me VIP. This is the fighter I kind of equate with inspiring me to go for a full 6 months membership, and I enjoy him a great deal

Nice, welcome on board Rollito!

I'll see what I can do.

I can return the favour and send the company owner a good contract. If he stays strict there, well, does not matter. I just don't want to create a precedent here, that's why i may look a bit bitchy here lol, so no offence, Chris!
