To celebrate the World Cup draw and the fact that England got an easy draw, Konflikt are proud to bring you….Yet another MMATycoon FIRST…. The MMA World Cup Championship’s. With at least $250,000 and as high as $500,000 in prize money up for grabs. How does it work I hear you cry…Well fear not my friends I’m just about to tell you.

Not in LA? Not a problem...We'll arrange a deal and either pay to move your here full time or to fly over for fights.

Firstly we needed fighters to sign up to take part preferably with at least a 3-0 record or decent hype level. Fighters will be signed to the weight limit that suits them best. Then assembled into there group. 8, 12 or 16 Fighters will be signed in each weight limit.

For example

8 Heavyweight’s sign and then are seeded by Hype and Popularity level, and split into 2 groups. Group 1 will consist of fighters hyped 1,3,5, and 7 and group 2 with fighters 2,4,6 and 8.

Each fighter will then fight each fighter in there group once, gaining 3 points for a win and 1 for a draw and nothing for a loss. Making 3 fight's in the qualifying group stage.

The 2 Fighters from each group with the most points will advance to the semi finals. If 2 fighters have the same amount of points than KO’s will act as goal difference.

The winner from group 1 will face the runner up from group 2, and group 1’s runner up will face the winner of group 2.

The winners will then meet in the final. The winner will receive $50,000 (Possibly $75,000 to $100,000 Depend on quality and quantity of fighters signing up). and a title shot at that weights champion, if they wish to stay at Konflikt.

This will be the same for all weight limits. Current Konflikt Champions are welcome to compete if so title belts can be defended during tournament against top contenders.

I will be looking at running this from 155 up to 265. If I get enough interest from 135, 145 and 265+ than these will also take place to.

Fights will take place 3 weeks apart just to cover the fact that a fighter could pick up a 16 day injury.

Fighters will represent a country. Maximum of one fighter from each county per weight limit. More than one fighter can be from America for example but only one will represent it, the other’s will have to choose another country for example Brazil as were they studied BJJ.

Opening round fights will take place around the first weekend of February 2010, so contact me know and book you place. Pm me in game for details see signature below.

i don't know much about soccer and how the rounds work so please clarify something for me. are you saying that each fighter has to fight all 7 of the other guys in the first round before moving on to the 2nd round?

There are 2 groups so if you reach the final I assume you fight 5 times.
