  2. Following his rematch against Kid Torres at Eminence 6 MMAHead Radio had a chance to chat with Charles Martel. Justin Cider - "First of all I'd like to just say congrats. You really came out looking for the finish in this fight. Was that the game plan?" Charles Martel - "Ya pretty much. He talked all that shit about how horrible MMA judging is after I beat him the first time. So this time I wanted to shut him up for good." JC - "Do you expect any talk from him after this dominate win?" CM - "It's Torres. I think that says it all. I expect him to complain about an early stoppage or some bullshit like that. I rocked him with the second strike I landed. A jab I should mention. He's pretty durable so I wasn't expecting to get the finish so quickly." JC - "Well my people are telling me that you now actually hold the record for the fastest stoppage against Kid. How does that make you feel?" CM - "No different really. I mean I'm just happy to be fighting, and to be completely honest he has never had any business being in the cage with me. The only thing that ever got me to fight him was that big fucking mouth of his. I can say I'm happy to have beaten him at his own game in the first fight, and now to have finished him with strikes. I guess I could give him another fight, and go for the sub!" JC - "Well we won't keep you I'm sure you have an after party to attend." CM - "Ya I do. For the first time in my career I don't have to go wait at the hospital to get a cast on a broken hand. Just sprained it this time since I barely had to hit him!"

  4. Long story short. I stop off at the store for gas and snacks when as usual some dirtbag is begging for $ before I even make it to the door. I ignore him as I usually do in these situations and go in and handle my business. Upon exiting there he is again, spewing his lies and nonsense of why he needs money. It gets to the point where he offers a blow job. I had a snub nose 38 on me and I'm not one to wave it around but I'm not going to lie, for a moment I wished it were legal to remove this unnecessary parasitic crack head from the community. In the end I took a handful of change and tossed it to the ground and walked off. Minus the toothless crackhead blow job of course.

  5. Anyway we can change this feature back to how it use to be? The new way of doing it by numbering sucks, takes me 10 minutes longer to make a single change to a card. Drag n drop would be the best option but if that's undoable, at least include the old way of doing with the arrows for the people that prefer it. May seem like a small change but it's really inconvenient.

  6. When word of these allegations made there way to the Martel camp they released the following statement... "We expected something like this to come from the Torres camp. There's always an excuse whenever this scrub suffers a legit loss, and this is nothing new. Martel trains at the same gym Torres was rumoured to be coming to train at, and the word on the street was that he was scared to come to the gym. He knew from the get go he couldn't hang with that caliber of fighter. Regardless Martel now holds two dominant wins over Kid and he's happy with both results, and that goes double for the fans. At the end of the day that's all that matters."

  7. Weidman should have taken the Belfort fight, but he thinks he's in line for a title shot and doesn't want to risk it..feels like he's ahead of Vitor in the rankings. Unfortunately he needs a big name like Vitor to give him some starpower in order to sell the PPV. I think it will be Bisping/Stann winner. The UFC has spent a lot of time making Bisping into a star, and if he beats Stann, I think it would be a blockbuster PPV. Weidman vs Silva would have to sell pretty much entirely on Silva's name. Should Stann beat Bisping, then I think the winner of Belfort vs Belcher will be looked at a little more closely and it will be a tossup between the two.

  10. It would be cool if we could have a one-day tourney (no injuries/cuts/energy loss) based solely on fighter base. Each Game city would send their top-ranked fighter in every weight class and have a random draw single elimination tourney. No hype or morale changes necessary, it would be all for fun and bragging rights.

  11. I'm not proud of it guys but I made Mitch take a dive. He's so unbeatable that nobody can even test him, he'd gone though the entire tournament and I still didn't have a clue what his confidence was like having never lost. I decided to take a loss just to see how he deals with the morale drop. I've been contacted by the athletic commisision and they noticed the cornerman using a razor blade to open up Mitch's cut in between rounds which led to the stoppage. I thoyght I may as well come clean before it's announced by the commision. The cornerman in question has been suspended indefinitely with Mitch and myself being fined heavily. I apologise for bringing the integrity of the tournament into question. On the plus side Mitch has still never lost and is gonna wreck you all in the now we enter the knockout rounds, Mitch enjoys a knockout

  12. If the money or the h/p feed to them is right, many of the (top) managers couldn't care less. Look who fought there even after the org itself was discussed here in public a while ago. What i find strange is that the Ztarken seems to be a pleasent guy who could have gotten far in this game without all this bs.

  13. „Ladies and gentlemen, after 5 rounds of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision. All Three judges scored that fight 49:46, In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Risky Jones!” That is how first European K-1 Grand Prix ended. How it will be this time? 16 great kick boxers. 16 amazing fighters. 16 skilled and determined warriors. They will step to Vicious Fights cage to determine which one of them is the best Kick Boxer today. It’s a super bowl of striking. Biggest party for brawlers. Festival of Knock Outs. Now we bring you second edition of Euro K-1 Grand Prix! We will open this tournament with Alonzo “Zo” Mourning and Jackson Thomas. After going 7-1 in MMA, Alozno decided to try his skills in K-1. His opponent decided about it after going 1-3-1 in Mixed Martial Arts. Both proved that they have KO Power, so this fight will be interesting and will set tone for rest of the guys. When it’s single elimination tournament – you have to finish your fight. You have one chance to make it – so there is no time to waste. You can call him a suicide. But Bart Zeegelaar is in this tournament to show his skills. And this inexperienced kid will face 15-3 in MMA and 0-1 in Kick boxing Stan “Texas Toe Tagger” Paige. Stan may not have lot of experience in K-1, with only one loss in his career, but he was dominant striker in MMA, where he finished 13 of his 15 wins by KO or TKO. Bart has a tough challenge in his first fight, but his is from Netherlands. He has K-1 and striking in his blood. And we may see debut of next future K-1 superstar. Konstantin Khavin isn’t stranger to Helsinki’s based VF. He fought here last time, when he earned KO Of The Night for his Head Kick Knock out of Martin Crisstos. Now, he is back in to this cage, this time to put his Elite level striking to test in K-1 Grand Prix. His opponent? 3-1 in MMA August Beach, Heavyweight competitor born and raised in Inglewood, California, now competing professionally all over the world. He already proved that his Muay Thai is incomparable, and he will try to prove that once again – against Khavin on July 30th. 6-1 MMA Light Heavyweight Champion from Omnislash Gauntlet - David Gray - will be here with us as well. As competitor of course. Against Welterweight – “My Time” Rage Blade. You can’t say that these guys are rookies. They fought, they won before – and they definitely knows how to knock someone out. And these two will do battle, and of them will go on to the next round. When you have guys like that, you can’t complain. You just have to sit back and enjoy brutal fist fighting inside steel cage. For striking fanatics it’s the best way to spend afternoon. Jesse Dardar is highly skilled and really experienced fighter. And he will meet someone as experienced as he is - and even more – when he face former 2nd Pound-For-Pound fighter on this planet, “Shockwave” Marc Van Nisterlooy. We can speak all day long about them. How great they are. How powerful…but why? Why we just don’t show their highlights? You can really say how great they are – you just have to see them. And perfect opportunity for that will be on July 30th – when these two berserks will collide. Geodude Golem is 3-0 in K-1 rules fights. That’s impressive, isn’t it? Well…Nikolai Bellica is 5-0 in MMA. With 5 (T)Kos victories. That’s impressive too. So…what we have here? Fight Of The Night Nominee? Probably. These guys will go against each other and will try to take each other’s heads off. ASAP. That means someone will get KOed. If that fight will go to the judges’ scorecards – it means that someone screwed up. It’s destined to end in 14 minutes or less. With outstanding strikers like these two? You are either blind or stupid, if you think it won’t. Benjamin Grundy has a chance to break someone’s streak. “The Hitman” Liam Harrison is 3-0-1 in his four K-1 bouts. Will he be 3-1-1 after this night? He is Bantamweight K-1 Champion now, and if someone wants to defeat him – he needs to kill him. He isn’t big, but when you punch him – he will punch you harder. When you kick him – He will kick you harder. Benjamin recently jumped from 155 to 170 pounds division and he finished 10 of his 11 wins by (T)KO. So we are set for one more great battle, which will prove that guys don’t have to be above 6ft or over 250 pounds to deliver amazing fight. Rysty Sankari is coming to K-1 Grand Prix after KO Of The Night over fellow K-1 competitor, Stan Paige. “Made Man” Frankie Gambino can’t say same thing about him, but he definitely can take a punch, and believe me – when he take it, he will throw 5 in revenge. This is type of guy you don’t wanna mess with, because he will kill you. Rysty is undefeated as a Kick Boxer, so you can imagine what he can do to you, if you pissed him off. And that sounds like definition of exciting K-1 fight, right? Your damn right – that’s our Main Event Of The Evening! With 8 K-1 fights and 16 amazing fighters we are set to deliver another edition of Euro K-1 Grand Prix. If you love brutal striking, you can’t miss that one!

  16. Uhh... The commission decides who refs when and what fights they ref. So as long as it's sanctioned by a commission that Mazzagatti is licensed under it doesn't matter what Dana says.

  17. How far away are we from knowing our matchup? Would like to start training for my 1st round fight.

  18. Haha. Sometimes I think that you're mentally impaired or something. So if Dana tells the referee to restart the fight in the crucifix position than you believe that's his job? You're such a nut. Steve Mazzagatti doesn't work for Dana White. That's a fact. I know you have serious problems with the fact concept, but deal with it. I agree with that. He's allowed to yell all he wants.

  19. So hold the bus i am a anti gun person? i just told you i own a few but for hunting purposes. I've seen the videos dude they were all over youtube and there was a thing in the UK on about how easy it was to obtain a guy went in with a hidden camera and bought a handgun and ammo out his local walmart and went out the door never even asked him for ID. How many people saved each year from people using guns to protect themselfs in there homes? well the guy robbing it certainly wasn't saved. If you miss your shot at a guy robbing your house chances are hes gonna turn around and shoot fuck out of you. Iv always found a baseball bat or a golf club good for home protection never felt the need to use a gun. (if someone was to rob my house the guy could have cleaned up and ran off by the time i get up the loft get the guns out the case and set them up and get him). Whats the point in carrying a gun? if someone comes upto you pulls out there gun you reach for yours and your dead it only adds the the problem if the guys gonna kill you he will kill you. How did he get the gun? well could get it from where ever the hell he liked. Compared to here where pistols etc are smuggled into the country there not mass produced hence the lower gun crime. Our police don't carry guns usually. Most of the time its a bat etc yes we have armed response but thats about it. People to protect and serve with no training or jack shit give me a break. Police officers go through years of training and most have never discharged there weapon at somebody. every bullet they fire has to be written up. Thats why the Police are there. Why the fuck even have the police if normal everyday people can protect and serve because they have a gun? In PBR's case i do feel really sorry for the woman but even having a gun in that situation did not ensure her surviving. People carry guns to make themselfs feel safe is something americans have grew up with. UK we may carry a knife or stun gun pepper spray some shit like that. Guns are much harder to get a hold of over here so criminals having access to a shit ton of guns isn't often the case most guys that rob houses etc barely take a knife. America is different i respect that but i just don't see how people can say i have the right to protect myself and end someone elses life. Iv seen the cases over there where people have gotten trigger happy on someone because they "suspected" that they were following them in the night when it turns out the dude was just going to the shops to get something. Its the #1 reason i would never move to the states perma (i have had a offer before to go over). i would not feel safe at all knowing that anyone can own a gun to protect thereselfs and could turn around and shoot me because they felt endangered.

  20. Why do people write the same stuff in the topic title and the topic description? Why do people write the same stuff in the topic title and the topic description?

  21. perhaps the reason why you never see fighters in real life getting cut like guys on this game is because most of us only watch UFC and guys that cut easy dont make it to the UFC. in smaller shows you see guys get busted up like crazy

  22. If you look at the guns other countries allow then i mean wtf? UK has strict gun laws and i mean really strict (i know i hold a fire arms certificate). If you look at those firearms that most european countries sell (exclude eastern europe)its mostly shotguns and rifles for hunting and shit very few are actually used for protection. Very few allow pistols and even less allow fully automatic machine guns. America's belief in every man has the right to protect there home is bullshit i don't care how you spin it. There's no use for pistols other than target practice or shooting people only reason America allow it is because its there #1 product to sell. What use Machine guns etc have outside of the army really beats me. Reason for the gun crime being lower in europe compared to the states is simple. In the states any crack head mentally unstable nut job can go up in a shop and buy a gun out of there local Walmart. In the UK at least we get checked on at least once a year by police to make sure the guns are locked away in a safe place out of the reach of everyone else (usually in a locked gun cabinet) in which you must show them that the guns are all in place etc. All dealers are registered and must take your name address etc get it checked up. I've seen videos of people in the states walking in grabbing a gun and there shopping paying and walking out.

  23. Game speed should remain the same, But careers new to start ending soon or every record that is made will never be broken when and if longevity lengths are added
    1 point
  24. i dont think the game needs to be speed up because speeding up the game wont change the fact that it takes a long time to build a good fighter. a argument brought up in the past is so called 'ready to go in 2 months' fighters in a boxing im WebL or something like that. if you shorten the game year, you would have to increase learning speed by a lot in order to compensate for the shorten game year. otherwise project fighters are not worth it as by the time your done giving them all their skills, they are 26-27 and you will only get 6 months out of them at their best before they start heading over the hill. yes fighters last forever in this game. i have a 33 yo who has popped all of his primaries at least once since i picked him up when he was freshly turned 32. exceptional-sensational on boxing and MT, wonderful-exceptional wrestling and strong-remarkable bjj. this game cannot turn into something that you can basically beat the world in 6 months, that defeats what i personally find enjoyable about this game. the fact that training and building fighters is an art form, not a science. there is no cookbook that tells you how to make a great fighter. sure top managers have their ideas based on what works but nothing in this game works 100% of the time and thats what makes it fun and interesting. shortening the game year would be counter productive, what your doing in my opinion is greatly reducing the amount of time new players have to digest all this information that is available to be successful at this game. there is no surefire way of making this game new user friendly because its so 'dull', tycoon isnt very interactive, it doesnt have fancy graphics or engines, what you see is what you get. people dont like that, people as a whole want instant gratification. they want to dominate a game right at the beginning, they don't (as a whole) want to go through the grind of learning the ins and outs of a game to try and truly understand the game. i won't by any means say the game is fine the way it is as there are things that need to be brought into place or improved on. but this game wont be as new user friendly as other games without becoming extremely costly on mike's part in time and money. mike has enough on his plate at the moment, so let him get his feet under him before we start putting out calls for drastic changes to the game.

  25. I think a longevity code should be added which allows for 70 percent of the careers falling into roughly the same percentage of growth and decline with 10 percent being randy/Henderson/ A.Silva old timers and the other 20 percent being 27 year old decliners You shouldn't be able to absolutely depend on your guy being able to fight or train for a long period of time, and you should be equally delighted when he can go for an extended period of time....
