This is what annoys me most. We just got new clinch sliders, now we can allow opponent to standup from top position etc, and this little brat with no respect makes it sound like Mike does nothing but pointless, retarded shit for us.

Yeah, I am not even commenting on whether I think the addition is worthwhile or not. My comment was towards the OP for bothering to make this thread. I mean Mike busts his ass on this game. If it were me and I read some absolute BS like this I would want to just say eff it its not worth it.

Looking at primaries is misleading though, there is no way they can be great everywhere with the skill cap, and they'll be lacking somewhere in secondaries, unless they have really low physicals. I have guys at the cap who are a mix of sensational and elite in the areas i want them to be but they have 4 skills at around useless so they still have weaknesses to exploit.

I see why people are annoyed by the thread, but the addition really is pointless. If people aren't even checking their fight offers, they definitely aren't checking their mail either. Ultimately I really don't care that much but we do already get a shit ton of spam in our mail as it is.

You mean you never heard the story of old Steel Penn? Well here you go. In 2009, 1 week after I joined the game I bought a Nutritional company that had a full supply of fake 160 products. After selling them for about 3 weeks someone wrote me saying I was cheating and ripping ppl off with my store and its fake products. That person came to the forums and started a thread - Steel Penn is cheating and ripping members off with fake nutritional products. At this point in time my alliance was about 2 weeks old and two of my alliance members wrote me telling me to fix it. So I closed the shop and gave every person who responded to the forum thread their money back. I was labeled as a cheater for two years over this incident. Then 2012 in December I was found guilty of having 3 accounts come from the same IP address and charged as a multi. Mike deleted 40 million game cash from my account took my org from me and put it up for sale on the open market and made me restart from scratch In January of 2013. I have been told openly that I am under the watchful eyes of a few game monitors making sure old Steel Penn is on the up and up from that point on. Since then, 12 months ago I have rebuilt all that you see with the help of a lot of great people The Steel Penn brand name to where we are today.. I ask everyone and anyone I deal with to do one thing for me. Judge me by our interaction and nothing more and build your own opinion.

You should have known there would be a good chance that he would be matched up with a 25 year old. People always say a loss isn't so bad because it tests confidence anyway. Personally I don't do QFC fights. If I did want to test a fighter I'd rather ask an Org. owner for a 1-fight contract. At least you can have some more time to prepare for that particular opponent and even decline if you thought it was a bad matchup.

I've had a few ufc fighters in my club after their fights. Nothing wrong with celebrating your hard work imo. Even caught one in the bathroom getting some "special attention" from a female bartender lol

People above the cap got points shaved off and as LT said, a lot of these older fighters are very much on the decline, it's just not so obvious when you only look at primaries as they are probably the easiest to maintain/mask declines of other skills.

What is the point of adding a mail message for a fight offer so that it shows Mail (1). How is this different than Fight Offer (1)? I don't understand the logic of how this will get anyone's attention more than just a fight offer would. I'm not complaining about other things not being fixed. I just don't get this addition at all, lol.

My 16 year old Tommy Lynch just had his very first professional fight in MMA Tycoon vs a 25 year old in a QFC level 1 fight. Can't believe he was matched up with a fighter who is a lot more skillful than my fighter. Think Tommy Lynch put on a good performance, just a shame he couldn't get the win. Fight Commentary

Does money given out from lost bets count? I think Cus might have trumped everyone But props to everyone like Chuck and Steel Penn who continue to help others and giving away org's like Empire, Syndicate and Ascension as mentioned by Dinooo is a great point, that's giving away a license to make money and those that have run org's know how much work goes into turning them into a top org. One other thing to add, as the title says, love him or hate him, but this isn't a new thing for Steel Penn either, I still remember when I first started playing something like 3 and a half years ago he was the one that helped me get my first business off the ground and gave me 50k-100k or something to open a clothing store and never wanted any of it back. It might not seem like much in today's economy but back then that seemed like a pretty big deal and it was certainly a lot harder finding people to part with their cash! Noobs have it to easy these days

I'm going with EVO, number 1 in the world right now, 5 of the top 10 p4p and continually put on great events with some of the biggest fights out there.

I think im on SP's alliance for a year now. He's very supportive/helpful on his alliance mates not only on us but as what i'm seeing, he wants to do his best to help the game, spending a lot of money to support mmatycoon. Can't say much.

Looking at today's news, I can see that we get an extra fighter slot for The Island only. Do we just create them as normal, but put their location as the island? If you already have a company in another location, can you still create a company on The Island as well?

Not a bad idea that I might be pursuing down the road.

I said earlier that I really like the idea but agree there are too many cut stoppages at the moment, I'd like to see cut's only leading to stoppage in extreme circumstances and having more of an effect on things like striking defence, to mimic having vision problems. Again nothing huge, perhaps for each cut just knocking 5% or something off.

Lol scottie has a bad rep apparently,but im trying to grow this org as fast as your fighters grow,i want to look at your fighters while putting them in the HOF and seeing "BEEF" on all of their fights as UFC fighters do. Not in a sense of slavery,but of mutual respect and satisfaction. Wether im top in the world or not it means a lot to be able to satisfy a manager's needs for a fighter for his entire career... Im trying to obtain that.

Good to see this thread is still going, not one of my better moments in the forums here. PacMan not trying to say i am such a great fighter that i would challenge anyone to a fight not at all. I just dont give a flying fuck sometimes and would rather handle things with my fist regardless if i get my ass handed to me or not. I have my Green now so i am good to go, just get a little edgy when i go without for a few months like i have. Shit you should have seen me driving around town yesterday my Road rage was at a all time high. This goes to show you that Marajuana is not always bad it is very helpfull for a lot of people, without it i could be in prison or dead who knows. It simply eases my mind so i'm not so angry and negative all the time when around other people besides my family and friends of course. I felt like I had to write here as a Newby who turned down the help of SP. I joined the SP alliance before I had half a clue of what I wanted in the game and decided I wanted to create a fighting organisation shortly after. I had a few chats with SP and he seems like a nice guy to me. When I told him I didn't want material help or to change my name he didn't have a problem with it all. I myself didn't feel comfortable in the SP conglomerate and when I heard some of the nasty rumours about SP I confronted him. SP told me his view of the story and said he understood if I wanted to leave the alliance. When I decided to leave shortly after there were no hurt feelings or annoyed reactions by anyone in the alliance and was told that if I'd ever want back in I would be welcome to. All in all I think SP is a stand up guy now and cannot judge what he's done in the past. Though I'm not enthusiastic about conglomerates in any game and would never want to become a franchise myself all people who have used it, have gotten a very good deal I reckon. If I look at SP giving to the game I think it is only giving for a small part like with the haiku contest. For the largest part I think it's branding. The actual giving is done by people who want nothing in return in my opinion and that doesn't happen so often, the best example in this game is the Boom Fund I think.

Personally, I think this game have way to many TKO(Cuts) compared to real life, so I'm against everything that would increase the occurrence of TKO's due to cuts.
