If a banned manager wants to come back, we should let them, but force them to buy 3 years of VIP as a minimum. If they behave, then we have a reformed member of the community. If they don't, then Mike gets a nice chunk of change for free when they get banned with 2 years, 11 months of VIP remaining. If the fighter doesn't have any fights there is no way to tell what his hiddens are really but if he's 16 and a FA its pretty safe to say that his previous manager tested his learning speed and it was crap. If you dont mind training up a slow learner you could get lucky and his other hiddens might be good. If they have a fight or two you can check the pbp to see if any hiddens came up in the tale of the tape. If his morale is low he probably has no confidence.

I think event criteria needs to be tweaked. Currently the only thing which matters is quality of the card and amount of bookies relating to that event + the newspaper articles give the event a small bump. I think things such as: - Event Reviews - New posters - Event "interest" Should also get some type of consideration. I mean there are some "top orgs" which do not both doing either. It is like the UFC not pumping their event and not promoting the card at all. If these type of things go into the formula (taking up 10% of the rating) then you will see smaller orgs being able to compete better and larger orgs which put in a little bit of effort also get more recognition. Event interest could include total amount of people which looked at the card / review or which visited the org page during that week. Interest is the social factor which needs to get much more recognition. The social factor should be worth a good 10% or more as well. I also think the newspaper article publication should get a bump from the 3 hype it is now because orgs have expanded since the time that 3 hype was worth much more. It should be at least 5x more than that, which will mean that little orgs getting a publication can get a massive boost in popularity if they can get a quality article published in the news. If not it is just some random formula and guys pumping out figures which = to tycoon cash. I mean sure the event fight quality will still be a good 2/3 of the formula, so you cannot just get interest, put effort and move all the way to the top, but those factors need to matter more, if not then it will kill the little orgs (actually they are already dead, but it will give new orgs more of a chance).

It's crazy how people on here are bashing me left and right. I find it quite humorous. I would like to thank you for make SMART and WISE statements.. It makes abolutely ZERO since for me to have accepted that fight.. The guy only had TWO fights and extremely poor hype.. forget the skills.. let's just look at that.. he didn't deserve a title fight.. Now my fighter on the other hand CLEANED OUT!! the entire division.. leaving little to no one left and he has been there doing it for a while.. and they where tough fights and not tomatoe cans as that challenger stated.. but again thanks to all of the level headed managers out there and to the rest of you that believe that I should have taken the fight I have no words to say to you. I have nothing negative to say. you all have a blessed day and enjoy your gaming..

Before anybody goes negging me or acting like an idiot, I'm not suggesting it, obviously it's something we've all been asking for/about and was suggested when the game first came out, I was just wondering if Mike had given update on it any more recently that a couple years ago. I've search the forums and the wiki but only things I can find are latest 2011/12 so just after an update on it. Obviously feel free to post any suggestions you have about them below but mainly looking for any details more recent than then.

Evil Hilo Monthly Newsletter #1 Hey folks, Calvin here. First of all I’d like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for helping me create this amazing org. Without you guys it would just be bright lights and empty cages. I hope you guys will be happy to know that we’re going to have a newsletter at least once a month. I know it’s not much but it is kind of rough finding quality writing and running the org on my own is keeping me quite busy! If, and once I’m able to, I’ll try to get these newsletters out more frequently. We have a lot of exciting things that we’re getting ready to kick off and create more opportunities for our fighters to make a name for themselves as well as opening doors for new fighters. Title fights are coming soon and things are really started to heat up in these divisions. Okay well I have quite a few things to talk about, so let’s get started. New Event Partner First up, i’m not sure if anybody noticed but we lost our previous event partner and I’m not really sure what happened, our contract expired and we haven’t been able to get a hold of the owner. Anyhow, we have a longer contract with a more established company. Paul Rhaods and his crew over at Cyclone Nutrition Company in Amsterdam have been amazing and are very supportive of our cause. Creation Tournament. The Semi Finals are approaching and look to be very exciting. There’s three fighters left, fighting for their cash prizes, the welterweight belt and 90 days of VIP time for their manager! Our remaining fighters, in no particular order are: Hendo Riggs, Sub Zero and Andres Tiburcio. Riggs and Zero will be throwing it down tomorrow as well as Tiburcio participating in a “filler” fight. The winner of Riggs VS. Zero will fight Tiburcio for first place on June 4th. The loser of those two fights will fight each other to determine second and third place. We’ll be holding interviews for those three finalists once the tournament is over, and maybe after this next fight if we can find the time. Speaking of which, we’re going to start doing more interviews in all the divisions once the title fights start rolling in. If any of our fighters have something to say or just want to the world to know about them outside of the cage, go ahead and sent interview requests to my personal assistant and we’ll start sending out a journalist to meet up with you guys. Org Rankings Another thing to look forward to is the monthly rankings. On the 1st of every month we’ll be releasing the rankings list for the top ten fighters in every division so you can see where everyone stands and what the competition looks like. Right, so after this 170lb. tournament is over we’re going to be holding an open weight, no-gi, unrestricted grappling tournament. This tournament should bring in new fighters, help us bring in some more hype, new fans and create something unique here in the Tycoon World. I haven’t set a date yet but details will be released once the tournament is over. Better Contracts! Last but definitely not least, and maybe your guys’ favorite part of this. We have more much cash on hand than we expected and will be offering better contracts once you all are approaching the end of your current one. Those of you who are deciding to stick with us are appreciated and will be paid well. Obviously the more exciting you are and fans you bring in, the more we’ll offer you. Since I am borded and waiting on people to accept or decline contracts I did a little research. THe manager that released this 16 yo realeased another 16 yo with the same name yesterday. Then created the thrid 16 yo with the same name. It would seem that he is fishing for a quick learner, which is fine if you got the cash I guess. He also has had fighters turn 17,18, and 19 in the last few days. This could be a man to be reckoned with in a few RL years.

when your inactivity clause runs out wyou will be able to leave. Click on contract on the menu tab, then look for the fighter in question. It will say inactivity clause then under it, it will say current inactivity. Once your current inactivity is over the clause you will be able to leave the contract. You can also contract the org owner to see if they will release you.

FIght Rating is really messed up in this game, so I don't pay much attention to it. Smith hit an Americana, which is a harder submission to get than a RNC. I know it is flavor text, but I think it has to be considered. He also lost the first round, so his submission was a come-from-behind victory. That is taking nothing away from your submission win. You and your opponent were trading submission attempts on the ground, so I actually went back and forth between the two before deciding on his as the winner. It was a close call. As for criteria: KO and Sub of the Night have many factors that I look at. Here are a few, in no particular order: What kind of finish was it? Flying Knee is more impressive than Punch. Knee Bar is more impressive than RNC. How long was the fight? If you have a lightning quick finish, that is impressive. For submissions, how many attempts did you make? If it was your 25th submission attempt, it is less impressive than your first. Was the win a come-from-behind? I tend to reward a guy who is getting his ass kicked, but lands a big KO or submission to steal the win.

Active fighters corner guys all the time. I think that we should be able to use active or retired fighters to corner us. Here is how I think it should work: You can choose active or retired fighters off of your roster to corner you, or you can choose a guy from the Bahamas to corner you. Choosing a guy from your own roster should be more effective, since they will know the guy they are cornering better. However, if you choose your own guy, you should need to fly him to the correct city. Bahamas corner men would find their own way to the fight. If you forget to arrange a corner man, the system should randomly assign you a guy from the Bahamas, who will be less helpful because was asked to corner at the last minute. The effectiveness of a corner man should be based mainly on his intelligence, with experience being a secondary factor. The only impact he would have on the fight would be a boost to your fighter's intelligence/experience. An intelligent corner man would yell helpful instructions during the fight and give sound advice between rounds. I don't think a corner man's actual primaries/secondaries should matter much, if at all. An idiot who just so happens to be really good at boxing can't really help a fighter very much during a fight. This system will give an additional, fun wrinkle, but it won't give the experienced managers too much of an advantage. A noob manager has just as much of a chance of having a highly intelligent fighter who would make a great corner man as a veteran would. The only real edge that the veterans would have is that they might have corner men with more experience.

it would be great if we could integrate a social aspect to the ratings but it's very hard to quantify and im not sure how we stop people abusing it.
