  2. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1411997868Darkness%201.png Darkness 1 Hellow here from the Micro Arena, I’m here to present you the review of the event that just passed, „Darkness Fighting Championship”. The event took place with the help of ..., the official sponsor of Darkness FC. Just 174 people showed up, a lot less then expected. Even thow the event was a fairly big step back in the org finances the org owners we’re pretty happy with the action Let’s get started with the Under Card: Andrew Mo (0-1) vs Horea Tristan (0-0) --> 145 lbs Not a very exciting fight, as they both felt a bit the pressure of debuting. Right from the begining Mo seemed the more agresive fighter getting into clinch and imediate looking for a takedown, taking the fight to the mat. Tristan seemed to be happy on his back even if he took a few ground and pound he never stoped going for submissions. After 5 failed sub attempts, Tristan got a loose triangle and just a moment of lapse from Mo and he was in deep water. Mo had no choise but to tap even thow it was very close to the end of the round. Official decision: Tristan wins by Submission (Triangle Choke) at 4:58 in round 1. Simon Bellamy (0-0) vs Emile Heskey (0-1) --> 155 lbs What a fighter, Bellamy showed us his great skills, didn’t even let Heskey to show us what he is made of. Right from the beginning Bellamy got a huge takedon into side control. Heskey fought to get back to the fee but gave Bellamy the chance to get his back, which he did. Imediatly Bellamy went for a RNC which he got it whith no problem. Heskey had no choice but to tap out. Official decision: Bellamy wins by Submission (RNC) in 24 seconds. Ben Severus (1-0) vs Stephanio Bithotelli (1-0) --> 205 lbs Not an entertaining fight as most of the people aspected more from the 2 fighters. Every round looked the same as Bithotelli got the takedown and controlled Severus on the ground. Not much happened as they landed max 10 strikes all the fight. It was a wrestling match in which Bithotelli came up at top. Official decision: Bithotelli wins by Unanimous Decision Shane McLain (0-0) vs Greg Drope (0-0) --> 265 lbs It was all McLain in this fight. Drope came a bit tired in this fight as he worked hard and considered he didn’t need to much rest. He tried to get the fight to the ground, because of McLain power, but with no avail. With just 18 second into the fight McLain connected with a hook that rocked Drope. McLain saw his oportunity and went all in with a creazy right hand. Ko and good night, as Drope went to sleep before he hit the canvas. Official decision: McLain wins by KO(Punch) in 22 seconds And that concludes the Under Card. Main Card: Qasim Barakat (0-0) vs Sandu Lungu (0-0) --> at 265 lbs A good quick fight which entertained the spectators. After just 30 seconds due to a head kick Barakat managed to cut Lungu. It was an all stand up war as they both prefered to keep the figh standing and bang. Barakat landed a few leg kicks which broosed the leg of Lungu. Barakat was going more for Lungu’s body, while Lungu was looking to decapitate his opponent. 2 minutes and 20 seconds Lungu corner instructed him to go for a combination which he landed flush, rocking his opponent. Barakat tried to defend but Lungu came after him connecting with a beatutifull straight punch and knock his opponent out cold. Official decision: Lungu wins by Ko (Punch) at 2:49 in round 1. Zhuxikhaaj Ootarx (0-0) vs Brain Hardy (0-0) --> 185 lbs Hardy was the more aggresive fighter. The fight started better for Ootarx, which avoid big part of his opponent punches and he landed more, taking the call of the first round. Second round Hardy came even more aggresive and started to land more punches to the head of his opponent. Ootarx even thow he has power in his hand he seemed to have a glass jaw as he got rocked from a lazy left. The inexperince came up at the surface, intead of protecting himself and getting away from Hardy, Ootarx remained in the pocked and man did Hardy connect with an huge uppercut. Ootarx was out cold before he hit the ground. Official decision: Hardy wins by Ko (Punch) at 3:34 in round 2. Ramsay Snow (0-0) vs Brady Battaglia (1-0) --> 205 lbs A Bjj competition. 3 rounds of ground action as both fighters went for submission after submission. Battaglia had a more complex ground game as he tried to connect with punches when he saw he couldn’t finish by submission. This match was crazy in number of submission attempts, a total of 49 sub was attempted durring this fight. Battaglia was the better man in this match as he dominated most part of every round. Official decision: Battaglia wins by Unanimous Decision Co-main event: Brent Harvey (1-0) vs Michel Kiessling (0-1) --> 185 lbs A great fight on display, wrestler vs the stricker. Kiessling didn’t start too well being caught with a combination that cut him. He immediatly gone to attack and managed to knockdown his opponent with a beautifull leg kick ring into the thigh. Kiessling tried to finish but Harvery managed to recover and hold his opponent till the referee stood them up. Imediate Kiessling went on attack and managed to drop his opponent again, but Hardy recovered quickly and managed a reversal getting some time to recover. Knowing he lost the first round Harvey came up strong in the second and took the fight to the ground where he did better than his opponent. A few reversal and a lot of GNP from Harvey was enought to win him the second round. In the third round Harvey was even more dominant getting the fight to the ground from the beginning and keeping it on the ground. He landed GNP, advanced and even tried a few submission but he couldn’t finish the fight. A great fight and a great comeback Official decision: Harvey wins by Unanimous Decision Main Event: Joshua Dumonte (1-0) vs Alexander Rizzo (0-0) --> at 265 lbs Dumonte came into the fight very aggresive and determinat not to let let the fight go to the judges. Just after 10 seconds he managed to cut Rizzo with a left hand. Rizzo tried to get some offence on his part, but Dumonte was quick to slip out of the punches and managed to connect a few more times. A beautifull combination consisted of a jab and 2 right hand landed and Rizzo’s lights went out. Official decision: Dumonte wins by Ko (Strikes) in 39 seconds Awards of the night we’re a 2k $ bonus for the fighters: Shane McLain Sub of the night: Simon Bellamy Fight of the night: Brent Harvey vs Michel Kiessling

  3. Ladies and gentleman Ultimate XC is delighted to bring to you UXC WAR Wednesday that is going to take place October 22 2014 at the The Underground – The Island arena that holds capacity of 1000 people. This card contains some interesting fights that could make or break an MMA fighter, fights that will either launch you to the top or knock you to the bottom. One of those fights are the Co main event between two undefeated fighters and of course the main event for 185 lbs title we've all been waiting for between Morrison and Hurmaaaja. 205 lbs bout: Jonathon "Little Slugger" Helm (0-1) vs bo Vito (0-2) A debut fight in Ultimate XC for Jonathon Helm where he is looking to make a fresh start against a 2 time Ultimate XC fighter bo Vito. Jonathon Helm had a disappointing first fight in QFC where he unexpectedly got locked up in a kimura forcing him to tap out in only 18 seconds of the first round. But putting all that aside he is a great boxer that can knock people out in a flash, only a few seconds are necessary for that hand to come flying across the ring smashing bo Vito in the face and knocking him out senseless. Bo Vito on the other hand is desperate for a win coming of a 2 fight loss in Ultimate XC by submission and a vicious KO. He's looking to put the past behind by using his boxing skills and his solid Brazilian Jiu Jitsu skills. This fight should end quickly and either man could take this win. My pick is bo Vito in the first round by KO. 155 lbs bout: Cavan Donovan (0-1) vs Big Dawg (0-0) Second fight of the night is between the newcomer Big Dawg who hasn't had any professional fights and Cavan Donovan who fought once in Ultimate XC and unfortunately losing due to vicious TKO in first round. Cavan Donovan is an amazing boxer who will definitely start aggresively from the beggining trying to knock Big Dawg out and end this fight in the matter of seconds but he might not get his wish fullfiled because Big Dawg is pretty much the mirrored version of Cavan Donovan as they both are amazing boxers and they both hold blue belt in BJJ. At the end of the night it will come to who wants it more and I think it is going to be Cavan Donovan as a expect a brutal KO victory. 265+ lbs bout: Fat Boy (0-1) vs Chris Barnett (3-0) Now this is a behemoth fight between two incredibly large fighters. And by large I mean not in height but in weight. Fat Boy is 150 cm and Chris Barnett is 176 cm tall. These guys obviously aren't affraid of death so they will step in this ring ready for a 3 rounds all out street fight untill one of them is unable to move. Fat Boy is coming off a unanimous decision loss in his Ultimate XC debut while Chris Barnett is unfamiliar with the word defeat as he is on a hot 3 win first round streak against some tough opponents. Main tactic of these two guys will of course be their extraodinary boxing skills and some great Muay Thai skills while Fat Boy might try a submission or two as he is a purple belt in BJJ. I see this as a first round KO/TKO victory for Chris Barnett. 155 lbs bout: Brick Head (1-0) vs Hideki Higkiko (2-0) Another 155 lbs bout that consists of two undefeated wrestlers that are making their debut in Ultimate XC. Both fighters are ridiculously talented and hungry for win that might even get them in a title eliminator. Brick Head and Hideki Higkoko won their matches in the exactly same way, unanimous decision victory where they picked apart their opponents untill the bell rung. Two very different fighters with the same agenda, conflict as much pain possible in 3 rounds and get the victory. Brick Head is a tremendous boxer and a great wrestler that will rip you apart with his amazingly strong hands whil Hideki Higkiko is a Muay Thair expert and a master wrestler. Bear with me folks because this fight might go for another 3 rounds but I see it going in favour of Hideki Higkiko. 135 lbs bout: Icabod Crane (1-1) vs Ronald Raygun (2-0) A battle of two skinny guys whose appearance might trick you because they are holding onto some skills that would take out a much bigger guys than you would think. Icabod Crane making his debut in Ultimate XC coming fresh from his first round TKO victory that completely made us forget his loss that he suffered before that fights. In that fight he dominated his opponent untill he couldn't take it anymore resulting in a vicious TKO. On the other side Ronald Raygun is getting in this fight with a bit more hype riding a 2 fight win streak and his second straight fight in Ultimate XC. A clear favorite looking to extend his winning streak and get in the position of challenging the champion for a title shot. Both fighters hold similar styles, a wrestling experts who are looking to dominate to fight and take you out when you least expect it. I am siding with the hype on this one and choosing Ronald Raygun to win this fight, after all we might be looking at a future champ here. 205 lbs bout: Bunaidi Pakpahan (2-0) vs ZXz Zxzx (1-1) A rematch between the two fighters who had a great match on Ultimate XC 4. They went all out punching each other as hard as they could untill judges ruled in favour of Pakpahan thus giving Zxzx his first loss of the career. Immediately asking for a rematch he knew that he has to win this fight otherwise his career might take a step forward while Pakpahan gets a star treatment. Pakpahan is a well rounded artist that could use anything he desires in the fight while Zxzx's gameplan is using wrestling in his advantage. This fight could go either way, it could be a smashing KO or a wild and unexpected 3 round brawl. I give advantage to Pakpahani by a thread. 265+ lbs bout: San Terra (3-0) vs Ike Tyson (1-0) Two undefeated big guys that are coming fresh off an amazing two victories and looking to extend their winning streaks. Ike Tyson defeated a fellow Ultimate XC artist who is fighting at this card Fat Boy while San Terra annihilated people outside this company. 3 fight win streak that seems hard to be stopped but will Ultimate XC artist prove that they are tougher than the rest of the organisations? That they hold a different kind of talent that cannot be stopped? We will see that when San Terra who is an amazing boxer and a great wrestler faces off Ike Tyson who is too expert boxer and a great wrestler faces off in a potential 3 round fight. I fear that we may not see a 3 round fight because after all San Terra is a beast and he will get a 1 round TKO/KO. 185 lbs bout: Massimo Benvenuti (5-0) vs Jonah Sorentino (6-2) Now we are talking! The card is getting hotter and hotter when two dominating talents step in the ring for a brawl. Massimo Benvenuti is on a 5 fight win streak having 4 first round finishes and one third round TKO win while Jonah Sorentino has 6 wins and a 3 fight win streak with the last one being a decision win. Benvenuti is a glorious boxer which he has proven in his fights when he destroyed his opponents ending all of his matches via strikes and punches and Sorentinto looks to use boxing and wrestling to gain control over Benvenuti and neutralize his amazing power. This is a tough decision for me but I must say that I believe Benvenuti will slip one punch through that will knock Sorentino out. 265 lbs bout: Andrei Alexeyev (3-0) vs Mase Force (4-0) This will be a glorious fight that will end up spectacularly whether it's by a KO, submission or a decision, this is why we love MMA. Two undefeated talents that are riding a hype train that is seemingly unstoppable. Andrei Alexeyev has more effective finishes where all of his fights ended in first round and Mase Force chose to fight his two las bouts to a unanimous decision. Andrei is getting ready to make his second appearence for Ultimate XC while Mase Force is making his debut. And what a debut it is! Two similar fighters holding extraodinary Muay Thair skills and beautiful wrestling skills go toe to toe in a co main event. I believe Alexeyev will swoop this on with a spectacular finish but I may be wrong, it is a tough fight to decide. 185 lbs title bout: Grant Morrison (5-1) vs Massa Hurmaaaja (4-0) Wow what can I say about this except to sit back and enjoy this fight because it will be a showstealer. Main event of the evening between the new and first even Ultimate XC 185 pounds champion Grant Morrison who is coming off a beautiful first round KO win and the challenge who is a beast looking for champion's blood and a submission expert Massa Hurmaaaja. Grant Morrison is a KO of the night award winner and a well rounded fighter who usually ends his fights in the one minute mark, a fighter who isn't here to look pretty and win fans over with charisma but with his extraodinary finishes that leave people wanting for more. But he never faced an opponent like Massa Hurmaaaja who is a brown belt in BJJ and a respectable wrestler who ends his fight either in submission or with vicious striking that leave his opponent incapacitated and broken in the ring. Scottish champion vs Finnish challenger engage in a epic battle October 22nd for the title in which the result will give us the one true Ultimate XC champion. Prediction: We'll have a new champ. A must see event that will give us 10 amazing fights and a night to remember. See you guys Wednesday!

  4. Lol I don't mean to be a dick, maybe it's just in my nature.... 10. This season each TEAM will be permitted to make 1 fighter replacement for the whole season. I sure hope I don't have to start reading these out to each sign up in the future cause that's too much trouble for me sorry. Maybe I shouldn't just assume people read the rules before joining a tournament? But I don't have the patience to be holding 30 grown mens hands throughout this whole process. I need a gopher for the politically correct ass kissing side of the business I guess, shucks! and thanks to the 1st smart ass that points out I didn't update any of the other rules to fit being 1 team short but I'm lazy

  7. http://i.imgur.com/tuqhtLf.jpg HONOR FC MOVES INTO TOP 10 WORLDWIDE ORGANIZATIONS That's right! After a few months of threatening to do it, HONOR FC has cracked the top 10 worldwide organizations and currently is proudly sitting at number 9 worldwide - Not bad going after less than a year in business. Anyway the point of this post is to say a big THANK YOU to all you managers who have fighters signed to HONOR as it is you guys and your fighters hype who have made it possible so thankyou very much! It doesn't end here though as my next aim is the top 5 and that is what we will be focused towards from here on in. Congratulations on the top 10 to everyone who has ever had a fighter fight here and once again thank you.

  16. The road to the tournament : 19 days to go http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/42/42b1.jpg • http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/41/41b3.jpg Apollo Creed vs Wallace Treadwell 0-0 RECORD 0-0 185cm HEIGHT 190cm 215lbs WEIGHT 215lbs Osaka, Japan FROM Oxford / MS, USA Third fight preview : suit3cas3nuk3's japanese(!) MMA prospect Apollo Creed steps in to octagon with Beau Banks's MMmmurican Wallace Treadwell. It's gonna be a two man Pear Harbour all over again when the cage doors shuts and the bell rings. War is never pretty. If Creed is able to land one of his kamikaze takedowns I have a feeling that Treadwell's boat will sink. Like in our two previous fights on paper this one is also a striker versus grappler fight. Who got who figured out? Whose gameplan will be executed better? Only time will tell... BANZAI! So very unprofessional yet unbiased prediction: I mostly manage strikers myself and I always find these early career fights against ground experts very difficult. Once again I will give the nod to the wrestler... Prediction: Creed by TKO 2nd

After analysing your case this is Judge's Verdict- Guilty, The perpetrator will receive 20 Elbows to his face, 20 Head punches, 2-3 Head kicks and 1 Knee to his groin. yeah, that'd be all but if the offender survives this assault then from that very point he will at executioners' mercy.

  19. Azlo McQueen: Guys as you know I fight here and I am a awesome ground fighter. I will be fighting this Saturday against an opponent who has a fair chance of knocking me the fuck out. This is not what I want to talk about, I have just found out I have a brother... And he fights in the same org as me... He is also fighting this Saturday. His name is Jilly Bean McQueen. It's been a huge shock to both of us and we have both missed out on some vital training, but just like his brother he is very skilled on the ground and takes on all challengers. Its been a weird and emotional week but im sure both of us will force the tap on the weekend. Thank you.

  23. Your fighter keeps all of the money he has earned on the Island. You can keep your fighter after the Island is over, but there are a few things that go along with it....... 1. You must have a regular fighter slot open or you will have to drop a different fighter to keep the Island fighter 2. In order to keep the fighter you must go in to his Edit Fighter Details on the fighter profile page and choose an End Location for the fighter

  24. There is a balance that you have to find. I would try to have your guys fight every 3-4 weeks if possible. Finding the right organization also helps. Try to look for ID restricted orgs and sign your fighters there and they will face similar competition. This should give you a good balance between training and fighting.

  34. Aggro accuracy doesn't scare Pluto Palhares. Your fighter is boring and your fighter names are retarded. You're an infant Broken Halo tool. Pluto will manhandle Bowser and dress him up like Princess Toadstool. Don't rage-quit like your alliance leader after Pluto pulls a Randy Couture and spanks your boy in the cage.

  36. You're one of Tycoon's big boys and Castor is a pup. Castor is a very brave little pup yapping at the big dogs.. But, he'll either run with his tail behind his leg, when he has to back up his attempts at barking.... or get bitten in the arse. Now, if he's a stupid little mutt,,,,, rinse repeat, but if he's a smart one, he'll wait a bit until his balls drop and his fighters grow up.

  41. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13886670638020.png "Dangerous" Daniel O'Sullivan 24 years old 170lbs 8-3 " I wont be surprised if Ronin Mori (5-4) will be retiring from competing in professional MMA after I'm done with him in our fight. Looking forward to getting two wins in a row in ITFL Season 3. If Mori doesn't retire after my fight, I wouldn't be surprised if his manager releases him. Feel sorry for Mori if I'm honest because it's not his fault his manager is terrible when it comes to planning effective fight plans. "

  43. Getting punched to the head doesn't increase IQ.

  44. Wow, cool thing this might be the first thread i can contribute something usefull. the problem about measuring intelligence is that intelligence itself is a latent variable, so we cant measure it directly (like waight or hight or something simillar). So we have to bring people into situation in which intelligence should lead to a certain action (like solving an item of an iq-test). Usually this iq-test-situation is a mixture of various multiple-choice questions. Based on the results of a person in such a test we try to estimate his or her iq by comparing his or her results to those of a compairable group. Now the problems of this approach is that we can never measure 100 % correctly. There is allways the chance that someone is lucky and selects the right answer in a multiple-choice test. Also you can have a bad day or a good day, you can be a little tired in the test-situation, you can be distracted by a ringing phone and so on. So the value we measure is not 100 % accurate, but we can say that the value measure +/- a certain range (based on the standard-error of the test) might contain the true value of a person with a certain chance (usually 95%). So the conclusio of this all is, that 2 measured test-result from 1 person can differe, but the true value for his or her iq is still the same, as long as the difference of the 2 measurement is smaller than 2 times the range (based on the standard-error). Now, there is just one question left muhahahaha Mike, we want to know the reliability of your ingame-iq tests muhahahaha
