EPL semi-final 1: Corrida vs Socha http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/30/30b25.jpg VS http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13792863967574.png This fight is a very interesting one. These guys actually have met eachother before in the octagon, in the second round of the regular EPL season. Corrida tried very hard to get the takedown in that fight , but Socha wasn't going to let Corrida take him down often and not for very long either. He didn't get the chance to really showcase his BJJ against Socha and he lost a decision. During the season, as in his entire career, Corrida showed that he is nearly impossible to finish. None of his EPL opponents so far have been able to submit or (t)KO him. That's a big prove of his incredible toughness and he will try to use that combined with his groundgame to try and advance to the final of this prestigious tournament. There is one man who can stop him from achieving this goal and that's Karl Socha. He has shown to be one of the favorites during the entire season and the money that I bet on him might give me some profit in the end With the betting favorite, Cormac Gutz now out of the tournament after a loss in the quarter finals, Socha has the odds in his favor. It's not just a fight between fighters, but also between managers. Rory Daly has been doing great lately and has achieved his highest ranking ever as we speak. He also started his own new alliance, filled with great managers, so either he has learned already from them, or he has been doing more average until the real important moment in his manager career came; EPL. It's pretty clear that he will be very motivated to avenge his loss against JLP's fighter . JLP on the other hand is known to be a top manager and probably one of the top slider specialists in the game. The former number one manager is going up the rankings again and will be looking to prove that his first win over Corrida had nothing to do with luck, but that he can outclass him every time. The fight seems to be a ground fighter vs striker matchup and it will be fascinating to see if Corrida can take advantage of his BJJ advantage this time, or if he will lose again. Corrida has the wrestling advantage and is hard to finish, but Socha has the tools to beat him and has proven that already in the past. Prediction: Socha by decision

WYG- Glad to see you resigned Diaz, but boy did you take the wrong fight choosing to go toe to toe with me. I been watching you for a little while and I'm hardly impressed. How about when you created 16-17 year old? There could be fights in lets say sunday, that You could choose if you wanna take. After your fighter has his 18 birthday, you would move to pro fights or keep training like normally. Fights would be non energy cost/ injury fights. Not very important, but i would like to see amateur record. There could be grapling, Kt and Mma fights seperately? Dont you people get mad, just suggestion. ps. Mike would make couple of bucks more if people wanted amateur record? You need to use Vip days to create 16-17 year old, right?

Hi Gonzalo. 1. You can do that if you want, but flights cost money too. I'm sending you 30k. You can use that to train your fighters for a while, or to move some if you really have to. 2. Managers and fighters can be in any location you choose. 3. There is no penalty for training on one thing. The only exception to look out for is sparring - Never spar twice in one day. 4. Yes, use the 25s to get a little money and experience, but don't plan on them as long-term prospects. 5. PM

I see too often refs stop fights for a few poncy punches when they are on the mat and it always seems like an anti climax, the loser gets up and walks away straight after it is stopped like he just got in a pillow fight. If anything Jackson should be worried that he couldn't finish a man who he just shinned in the nuts and was lying there trying to recover. Well recover is exactly what he did and tapped Jackson fairly easily. Well done Graves. I've already forgotten the blackzilian coaches name (mind blank) but he acted like a fucking tool. Ngata was looking for a solid opponent, and fair enough, we signed the deal. I will take my hat off, well if I had a hat I would, to Ngata. He is a fearless competitor, and I am sure we will compete again one day, but I had the better day in the cage, and I walked out pretty comfortably. There are reports that you weren't happy with the level you were at and have asked for some time between fights to train. What is your reaction to this? I did indeed ask for time to train. Listen, I want to fight for a long time, but competing early will only hurt myself in the long run. I would rather compete for the long term than the short. I will still compete regularly in Havoc, but I also need to do what is best for my career and be the best champion that I can be for Havoc. You were recently called out by ROV Champion Arnie Armstrong for a sort of "Superfight" between the two of you. What is your answer to this? I have a fight already booked against Rautakallio, and it was booked before his challenge. He has a fight now on the 25th, so following my next fight, we will see what can be done about a fight. Never having turned down an opponent Poe's career is off to a quick 4-1 start with his only blemish coming from top contender Jambo Jambo at CH 14. That was the 1st time in 8 career fights that EA had tapped to his opponent. The loss didn't discourage The Raven it only made him more determined to not let one loss roll into 2 and with that sheer will that he returned to action at CH 17 where he faced a tough stylistic match against ground specialist Makus Landfill. Faced with the probability that a second loss in a row would most certainly put the brakes on any hopes of getting back into the title picture for Poe after his loss to Jambo EA "The Raven" Poe answered the call in spectacular fashion. Although Landfill scored with an early takedown and several submission attempts Poe was able to slow the pace down enough to force the ref to bring the fight back up to the feet. Once they were standing again Landfill almost in a panic began gassing out trying to bring the fight back into the clinch and onto the mat and Poe with his superior striking began picking him apart with a variety of punches and kicks culminating in a vicious head kick which sent Landfill to the floor and The Raven soaring once again. Now at 5-3 and a bonafide top 5 contender the matchmakers at Havoc have given #15 ranked fighter Yoshimitsu "Bushido" Kano the opportunity of a lifetime. This fight is make or break for both combatants. Poe " I think Kano presents an interesting challenge for me in that he's a bit taller than I am and he's clinch fighter where as I like to keep things out in the open and let my hands fly. I think he might be 1 belt ahead of me in BJJ but I've got great defense off my back and the power to get up if need be. My overall ground game has improved since the Jambo fight, I wasn't focused on what he was doing and it cost me." I hope Kano brings his best on July 11th. If he clinches he's gonna get punched and kneed, if he tries takedowns I've been working on counters so I'll be ready, but if he wants to throw some leather, toe 2 toe, well then I hope he's prepared more then the others were because my fights don't go to judges."

I am oat prone as we speak. Traditional seeding was to get us the tournament bracket set up, we are still following it. Winner of 1v8 vs winner of 4v5 and winner of 2v7 vs winner of 3v6. So next round will be #8 Corrida vs #4 Socha and #2 Flay vs #6 OCrazy. I also sent out a Boris/Jamison grudge match and there is one more spot to fill if any of the last three eliminated (Gutz, Wildstein, Uxxarest) want to take another fight.
