  10. I am glad to have him with us. Our goals are challenging but that's what makes this so fun. All of our orgs will work together helping each other create a worldwide group, Steel Penn - ICON. This group will share / swap fighters to create super fights. Also twice a year all champions from these united orgs will face off in a worldwide tournament creating ICON world champions in each weight class. Here are the cities we currently have active orgs in. We need orgs in cities that do not have one of our org in it already so if anyone would like to join the fun please contact me anytime. Hilo, Steel Penn - ICON http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgpublic.php?oid=2905 NYC, Steel Penn - ICON http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgpublic.php?oid=2886 Rio, Ultimate Vale Tudo http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgpublic.php?oid=133 Montreal, ICON - HMFL http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgpublic.php?oid=3412 Helsinki, SPI: Helsinki http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgpublic.php?oid=4537 St. Petersburg, BMTP http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgpublic.php?oid=4236 What are the perks to working with our united orgs? 1. Any fighter that wins a belt in any weight class in any of our united orgs and retains that belt for 5 consecutive title defenses will receive 3 months VIP for free. I will pay for each org, the org owners are not responsible for this payment. 2. Once all cities are united and we hold ICON world championships all ICON belt holders will receive 3 months VIP plus their fighter will be treated like a world champion. Private gym while champ, free nutritional products for the life of the fighter, free clothing for life, free Jet transport while champ and a contract for 250k/250k/500k. 3. 14. How do you expect him to practice anything perfectly if he doesn't have either outside guidance or a lot of personal experience practicing perfectly? Most autodidacts in any field suck for a reason. And your advice to act 'crazy' is terrible. That's a great way to escalate situations and get beat up or stabbed. Just act normal, try to defuse every potential situation and have the precense of mind to avoid seedy shitholes in the first place.

  19. Great topic. Some fights in no order: Slopey Smith vs Pluto Palhares What was remarkable in Slopey was that he wasn't that good at anything and he was no skill monster either. He was described in TotT as inexperienced and good in bed. Just a hard worker who had pretty good success in his modest career. But this fight was definitely the highlight of his career. He was the first (and still only one of two) guy to ever submit Pluto Palhares, who came into the fight as an unstoppable force with a record of 32-3. I was so happy Slopey could have his 15 minutes of fame and he reached #20 P4P what was to be his highest rank ever. Two weeks later they had an immediate rematch that was a hard fought 5 round decision loss for Slopey but at that point it did not matter anymore, his dreams were already fullfilled. Kauko Partio vs Kawamura Yoshimune At this point Yoshimune was highly regarded top of the food chain killer with a 19-1 record and was riding an 18 fight win streak and his manager might have been the number one in rankings at the time. Meanwhile Kauko was not that well known and was still developing, but his monthly routine consisted of fighting some misters in Versus... What were they called... Azure... Black... Looking back, they were actually top of the line talents. The fight was really close and fighters took turns in dominating rounds, if it hit the ground it was Kauko's and standing up Yoshimune's reach was the dominating factor. So in the fifth Kauko took it down and beat him like he owed him money. Great upset. Later on his career Kauko went on to become #1 P4P in the game and his old scrapping partner from Versus reached #2 P4P... Hector Cabrera vs Sly Randolph This fight was the pinnacle of a cinderella story, sort of. Hector was old as fuck. He was already past his prime. He probably should have already retired at this point of his career. But Hector would have none of it. EVO 145 division at that time was filled with stars, you could easily say most of the elite were there. The Latino Heat started to kick ass and take names, after a 5 fight win streak he got the chance for the gold. He was facing Sly Randolph who had won 9 out of his last 11 and against all well known names. He was basically impossible to finish, having had only one finish loss and that was 39 fights ago... These two very versatile fighters decided to do the fighting mainly on the ground and it went on until the 4th round... Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 4, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Hector Cabrera! Hector Cabrera is the new featherweight champion! In his post fight interview, Hector Cabrera gave a big smile as he said 'I was at the top of the world at 24 years old. That was like a million years ago. Now at 37 I have completed my dream of a great comeback. And it feels... So good. Thank you.'

EPL semi-final 2: Idi oCrazy vs Tantalus Flay http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14095825248072.gif VS http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/15/15w17.jpg This danish prodigy has had an amazing run in EPL so far and nobody was expecting him to do this great, most likely not even his own manager. He had a tough time from fight 3-5 in EPL, but went on a 4 fight winning streak in his next fights and advanced to the playoffs. He was the youngest fighter to join EPL this season and the kid has shown his worth for sure. After another impressive display in the quarter finals against JD Wildstein, he has moved up to 10th place worldwide in his division. Don't taunt this guy as he will make you pay for it. Mormeck once said that he would rip his irritating tongue out , but he got KO'd quickly by the almighty Idi oCrazy in just over one minute. He has excellent grappling and is as dangerous as they get when he unleashes his gnp to smash his opponent's face in. Flay is actually an interesting fighter as well, since he replaced another team member of his manager, after some crappy results, and started out by losing his first fight in EPL against JD Wildstein. Yes, JD , the fighter Idi oCrazy just won his quarter final against. But don't let that fool you, as Flay would go on to win his next 5 fights in EPL and also win his quarter final. He was very proud with his quarter final win, as his manager is now 7-0 against Mega Jug. Flay has the same ability to smash people from mount, but has better boxing, so he might be looking to use his boxing to get passed our danish young friend. Thor HGH is a veteran manager with a great 693-394-11 record and is a consistent top 100 manager in the rankings. Scott Davies is a true veteran manager as well with a huge 736-574-24 record. This fight really is a battle of giants and the question is who will be slain. Prediction: Flay by (t)KO

I won't blame my first loss in the organization entirely on this, as that would take away the dominant performance from my opponent, but I do however believe it had a mental effect on me prior to the fight. Tough times are over, i'm back on the grind, and i'm ready to get a streak going again. Whoever my next opponent is, I pity your existence."

  35. My 3 own favorite wins in my MMATycoon career are : 1) Vlad's win over Chev Chelios : I challenged all the top 10 fighters in his division for a fight and Chev stepped up. Big props for him for taking the fight! It was a great fight with a lot of action and most likely my biggest win so far. 2) Dickie his win over Logan Sackett: Many see this fight as the biggest upset in the mad cash tournament so far and some even say that it's the upset of the year. I scouted my opponent a million times as I knew I had to come up with something great to win against such an elite manager. To many people's surprise, and to some extend my own surprise as well, Dickie was outstriking Sackett and got the upset win. 3) Ryu his win over Jason Sturd: Ryu is a fighter I created myself and that I have had high hopes for. He was doing good, but the champion somehow seemed to be far stronger than he looks on paper. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the fight went exactly as I hoped/planned and Ryu won the title.

  42. The only people talking about Obama having a 3rd term is right wing radio. I have not heard anyone on the left even suggest it. This is the type of conspiracy theory crap that worries me when we are in the middle of a gun discussion. It makes you guys sound unhinged. It is pretty clear Clinton and Sanders are racing to replace him. No one is trying to increase term limits. As for the debate at hand... Instead of looking at guns per capita you should check out % of households with guns. I have neighbors with well over 50 guns each. One was bragging he had bough 14 more so he would be ready to shoot Obama when he came to take his guns. Ignoring the fact that Obama hasn't made any attempt to ban guns and if he did I doubt he would be the one to show up at your door I was just wondering how many guns his 2 hands could shoot at one time. In the Marines I only needed 2 guns. My M16 and a 9mil for up close or if it jammed. Having 14 would have done nothing to make me safer, because I only have 2 hands. All I needed were extra magazines to re-load. Anyways, I got off the point. In America if you look at households with guns per capita instead of total guns you get a very different picture. The 5 safest states have the lowest rate of gun ownership, and the 5 most dangerous have the highest rate. My state last I checked was #6 when it came to gun ownership and the #7 in homicide rate. That was a couple of years ago, but I doubt much has changed with all the meth coming in recently. As for crime the single largest indicator is poverty. Comparing the US crime rate to any country with a much higher poverty rate is simply cooking the books. Even here all the cities that are used as examples of crime like Detroit or Chicago ( though there is also more to those stories we don't have time to get into ) it is more because the obscenely high poverty rate than anything else. Every study on the subject always comes to the same conclusion.
