  3. Weekend Recap It was a weekend, that saw Sydney Fights loose some spots in the Org Rankings, but as some cards lacked title fights, this was expected, however, the weekend was one to make some nice storylines and bring the Org forward overall. And please note we have a new Merchandise Partner, make sure to do your shopping and laundry in Sydney at Combat Wombat, they will also sent out valuable sponsorships to our fighters, please make sure to accept their offers. Having a Merchandise Partner in Sydney is a valauble asset for the Org going forward. Friday: Blake Phoenix pushed his Sydney Fights record to 3-1, after falling to Pablo Spezziale and a long training break he prooves he is a man on a mission, Mujahid Jackson could never get into the fight, with Blake Phoenix making him miss almost all his attacks. At 4:40 the fight ended on a flurry of strikes, that led to a TKO win. Blake Phoenix will surely be asked to step it up in his next fight. The Co-Main Event saw Man Itizer, win his 2nd fight in a row, the veteran needed less than 1 Round to comfortably put away Chief Stalker in a fight of veterans, Chief Stalker was badly cut, and never was in the fight, that ended on a TKO in less than 4 minutes. Boogie Rollins upset Isiah Cooley, as he schooled the talented fighter in Ground and Pound, Cooley was a slight favourite based on his 2 recent wins, but Rollins applied his tactics wonderfully, and dominated the fight on the ground, Boogie Rollings is expected to be now ver short of moving into the 205 Power Rankings. Voshon Daniels won his final MMA fight, he got a revenge win against Cat Fhin, as a stand up battle ended in a TKO with a badly cut Cat Fhin. Sydney Org owner Boble Lineman made sure to congratulate Voshon Daniels on his great career at SFC, as the veteran has a 6-4 record, with all 10 fights being fought in Sydneys Prime Org. In the undercard, Nils Ragnaar, got his 5th win in a row, and spotlight talent Thomas Bolleke got his 2nd SFC win. Saturday: Mika Allu won a strange fight against Sergey Korotkiy, as they went the distance, and Allu got awarded all 3 rounds. Allu now will look to secure a fight against one of the top Contenders, to perhaps prepare for a run at SyFi Champ Rick Piano. In tonights fight, Allu got his tactic through in Round 1 took Korrotkiy down, and fough his dominant Ground style, but couldn't submit him, in Round 2 and 3 Korotkiy denied all takedown attempts, keeping the fight standing, but to surprise all, Allu took on the battle hit with some tough shots and won comfortably on the scorecard. In the Co Main Event, also at 265, Itzhak Weinstein looked not himself in the first couple of rounds, the huge favourite seemed to have been badly hungover, either from his lengthy trip or some other reasons, and was taken down in both rounds by Harpik, who looked on the way to a Decision win, when the tide turned. Weinstein connected with his kicks, and dropped Harpik to the floor twice, before a TKO win by a strike combination. The Main Card saw Kurt Wagner win his final SFC fight, when he beat Evan Dryll, it is known, that Wagner is in the running for a coaches job, and the black belt likely fought his last battle in a cage, he was all over Evan Dryll, and showed his black belt skills with a great armbar submission. Continuing his success, Thor Odinson denied Gracie again, as the two fought an almost look a like fight to their first encounter. Odinson frustrated Gracie by stuffing takedowns and won by decision. Odinson also showed his skills, when he couldn't deny a takedown, but bravely fought through the ground sequence. Other action saw some great wins by talents like Nurmagabeeb, Hip Hop and Spencer Rubenstein, who looked like contenders, when bolstering their records with wins. Sunday: The big day was finally there, when the fighters hit the cage to fight for the heaviest title of them all, the SFC Superheavyweight title, Jim Bob McDonald came to the cage first, and looked in much better shape, than in his first match with Arn Anderson, who brought the belt to the cage minutes later. When they started it soon became clear, that it was McDonald to apply his tactics today, he brought the fight to the clinch and denied Anderson a few takedown attempts. Then his punches begin to hit hard, but it was an uppercut out of nowhere, that sent Anderson tumbling and the ref jumping in declaring the TKO and the new Champion. McDonald will now hold a title, that Anderson was so used to presenting, when fighting at SFC. In the Co Main Event, unbeaten Chakrii Weesarangsan faced veteran Deklek Sitsongrit, and it was the older Thai, that showed his younger countryman, tthat he's the better stand up fighter, at least on that night. Deklek will move up in the 155 rankings, while Chakrii will have to go back to the drawing board. On the Main Card Philip Zieske shows he is ready for a 145 title challenge, with the belt being held by Daishi Kishimoto it was clear, even a 6th win in a row will not be enough for an immediate challenge, but Zieske showed his class, when making sure, he submitted fellow ground fighter Marcos Santana in Round 2. Zieske showed his class, and an Armbar led to success. Nazim Bardakci and Phillip Moore scored valuable wins at 155, both will be ranked, when the new rankings come out Monday, along with that Billy Jack stayed unbeaten, at 170.

  5. I like DJ and Henry so much they're both such great fighters and human beings but it's the complete opposite for the TJ/Cody fight imo. I wouldn't mind a double KO. Just waiting to see if Cruz can get back the title.

  9. Ricky Warner [The set of MMAAddict.com can be seen as the intro music fades in, showing Ricky Warner seated at his well appointed mahogany desk. The camera swings around and comes in for a close-up] Ricky Warner: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the MMAAddict.com MMA Vlog. Today we will be talking about some recent events going on over at my good friend Brunno Falcone's camp and how it affects the long term picture for not only Brunno and his camp, but also the organizations that he participates in. The first thing I'd like to talk about is the recent roster changes over in the Falcone camp. Robert Bebe, a fighter that has been training with Falcone for quite some time, has been released. Robert Bebe, in fact, was the longest tenured fighter on the roster since Brunno's return to the fighter management scene. Bebe was a journeyman fighter with a 5-4 record his most recent fight, a loss against Jaro Lalla in the NJMMA organization. A fight which broke a three fight winning streak for Robert Bebe. Many thought that he was turning things around and then he was let go by Brunno Falcone. Bebe was unavailable for comment at the time of filming, but we did have a word with Brunno. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/manager_avatars/1358045672Brunno%20Falcone.jpg Brunno Falcone: Tanks for havin' me on da show, Ricky. Robert was a good guy what I picked up from free agency. He was sportin' a 1-1 record from a QFC tournament he was in, and I picked him up and started trainin' him. His first fight wit me was against Pinched Nerve and Bebe was takin' it to him all fight. Wit tree seconds to go in da fight, Nerve manages to get da TKO. Deez tings happen. He went 4-1 in his next five fights and finally lost his last outing. Fact is Bebe is a journeyman fighter at best. He just wasn't improvin' like he should and we both decided dat when his contract was up dat he step away from da sport. He's a good guy and he gots heart, but he just ain't meant ta make it is dis here sport. Ricky Warner: following this development, Peter Steel, with a 4-2 record was also let go by the Falcone camp. We caught up with Steel at a local pub to get his side of things. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/32/32w5.jpg Peter Steel: Yeah, Brunno was always saying that I wasn't learning this stuff like I should be. Maybe he is right. I mean, I saw some of the other guys in the gym and how they were developing and was just blown away. Some of these 16 year olds Brunno recruited were becoming beasts and I was falling behind. I was doing pretty well in the competition, but as I stepped up in competition it was harder and harder to pull off wins. my three fight win streak got snapped by Mark Borrego, and frankly, if I was developing like some of my former stablemates I should have won that fight. But I didn't. I got my ass kicked. I took some of my frustrations out of Angel Childress in my last fight because I knew I would be retiring after that fight and I really wanted to go out on a high note. Boble, the owner of Sydney Fights, is a great guy and always had faith in me, but I didn't have faith in myself and that lack of confidence would have gotten me beat the Hell up in the higher levels of competition. I'll miss this, but I don't regret my decision to retire from the sport. Ricky Warner: Speaking of young guns, Brunno has recruited two new fighters into his ranks. Gianni Castellana, a 16 year old that is training vigorously at Ikki Takeda's Colossus Gym, and Reinhard Stiglitz, a fresh-faced fighter also training at Colossus Gym and already entered into the Beefcake tournament. Reinhard was recruited just hours after Robert Bebe was terminated. Both of these young men declined comment and Brunno is all but mum on the subject as well, saying only that Gianni will be training relentlessly until he is 18 and legal to fight and Stiglitz is entering the tournament over at PhoQus. Rumors swirl about yet another roster change over at the Falcone camp. There is talk that, after Voshon Daniel's next fight, that he too will be retiring. I asked Brunno about the validity of those claims and here is what he said. Brunno Falcone: Yeah, Voshon ain't no spring chicken. And while he still could fight on for years ta come he decided dat he could be better served in anodder capacity. We talked about dis and since Logan Cook ain't none too pleased wit workin' as my personal assistant dat weez gonna let him go and have Voshon workin' wit me instead. Dat will leave me wit one more opening in my roster, so I may recruit one more project fighter. Who knows? Ricky Warner: Well, there you have it, folks. That's all the time we have for now, but tune in as we go over the various upcoming fights this month. Have a great day and we'll see you next time.

  10. Weekend Preview SFC usually never disappoints, but with only 1 belt on the line this weekend, it looks a bit slower than usual, well the only title fight happens Sunday, and is in the 265+ division, so let's look at this first: 265+ Arn Anderson v Jim Bob McDonald It is a revenge fight, as so many tend to happen over the last few weeks, with youngsters developing more talent, and hunting down some veterans, here we have the classic Oldie vs. Youngester Scenario. Arn Anderson, heads into his 8th title fight at SFC, and has only lost once, when he was TKOd by Mongolian Muslim, a defeat he avenged just a couple weeks later. Now his opponent tonight Jim Bob McDonald he faced in May, and it was a rather easy submission win. However Jim Bob since then focused much more on his career, and has 3 easy 1st Round TKO wins since then. His most recent coming over Arns brother Ole Anderson. With this said, it seems a question of tactics, can Arn get the Takedown, or will he like his brother be smothered by some Big Punches from the Youngster this time, well, watch it on Sunday. The other fights of the Weekend: Friday: Main Event: 205 Blake Phoenix v Mujahid Jackson Phoenix at 2-1 in Sydney Fights comes in here after being succesful over Costa Ionnaou, a fighter he now has beaten twice. Jackson (6-2) is 2-2 in SyFi fights, beating Dukey Tots recently, he is a veteran, that relies on his ground game, but also sports some boxing. Phoenix looks to be the far better all rounder, and with his experience from the NYFN Tournament, is a safe pick, when betting. Co Main Event: 185 Man Itizer v Chief Stalker A fight of two veterans co-headlines the card, Man Itizer is a Muay Thai fighter, that with a win in his last fight broke a 3 fight loosing streak, he will try to build on that, his opponent Chief Stalker is almost a pure Boxer, that scored impressive KO wins in his last 2 fights, but had trouble gettin settled at SFC. With this fight both try to fight there way into the rankings, and can get special attention. The Main Card sees two interesting 205 fighters, when Boogie Rollins (on a 3 fight win streak) faces Isiah Cooley, on a 2 fight win streak himself. Both had some trouble early in their career, but now seem to have turned it around, on paper, and based on strengths of opponents Cooley looks the light favourite. At 265+ Voshon Daniels and Cat Fhin face each other in a rematch, first time around Fhin beat Daniels by Decision. Both are SFC veterans, who never shy away of a fight, let's see, who keeps building their SFC resumee. In the Undercard look for Belgian Thomas Bolleke, making his 2nd SFC appearance, facing Steven Urkel in his SyFi debut. Saturday: No title fights on a Saturday card is an exception, but the card holds 2 265 battles with some veteran SFC fighters. Main Event: 265 Sergey Korotkiy v Mika Allu Korotkiy and Allu both struggled, when having break out fights against top opponents, so now they'll fight each other for a chance to step up towards contendership again. Korotkiy got 3 impressive wins before falling to Barkley, a famous man for hanging 2 rounds with Piano. Since then the wrestler beat Steve Harpik, and looks to build on that. Mika Allu is almost a carbon copy, after 2 easy wins, he lost to Travis Dillon, by TKO, after that he TKOd Rosario Fusco, who we just saw win on Wednesday. Allu is the much better all-rounder, and looks a safer bet, but may not always be best prepared. Co Main Event: 265 Stefan Harpik v Itzhak Weinstein Harpik and Weinstein are at different levels of their career, but could steal some unusual attention here, Harpik is a ground fighter, on a 2 fight loosing streak, beaten by Childress and Korotkiy. Weinstein has 3 wins in a row, after loosing at NJMMA and to Korotkiy in his first 2 fights. Weinstein despite this 3 fight win streak underwent a Management Change recently, which may influence his training, as he had to switch camps. However, his stand up advantage looks too huge to overcome. The Main Card sees Kurt Wagner face Evan Dryll at 205, Wagner recently struggled, coming in on a 2 fight loosing streak, and at 5-4 surely needs a win here, Dryll on the other hand has had a shaky career so far, being 4-3 he always struggled to get a win streak going. At 170 Thor Odinson faces Roy Jones Gracie, Odinson has already beaten Gracie, in a fight, that was such spectacular, that SFC officials put it on the card again. Both fighters earned Fight of the Night honours for a special 3 round decision, that saw Odinson deny 19 takedown attempts by Gracie. Since then both have gone 2-1 and are on 2 fight win streaks, it should be a good one. Watch out for Clay Frazier(205) and Hip Hop(265) in the undercard, both are 3-0 at SyFi, and are safe picks to enter the rankings soon. Sunday: As mentioned and previewed, the title fight is the Main Event, Co-Main Event: 155 Chakrii Weecharangsan v Deklek Sitsongrit Hmm well, don't ask me to repeat the names, Chakrii, is 5-0 at SyFi, but so far has gone a very protected way , his challenges get tougher every time, last time out Robb Stark took him the distance for a first time, but Chakrii responded nice, and won the decision, now he faces the rest in well- travelled Deklek. Deklek has now fought in 3 Orgs, undergone a manager change, and faced the toughest opposition, he comes in on a 2 fight loosing streak, but those came to Akimbo Spice and Bernardo de Barros, that shows he's not afraid to accept challenges. On the Main Card, at 145 5-1 Zieske faces 6-2 Santana, Zieske is tipped by many to be a future champion, he won all his 5 SyFi fights, and 4 of them by submission. Remi Dacourt was first to go the distance with him, in Santana he faces a fighter, who took his first defeat in a title fight with Jazz Clementine, and then had a great 2 fight engagement with Cyborg, splitting the fights, now he seems destined to give Zieske a tough challenge. At 155 Nazim Bardakci faces Murphy Brown, with both fighters struggling recently, while Bardakci is 1-2, Brown comes in on a 3 fight loosing streak, this shows both fighters need a win to remain competitive and secure new contracts. On the undercard, look for 2-0 Billy Jack at 170, one of the hottest talent at SyFi, he still fights with long training periods and is carefully build. With Jack Anville he faces a 6-6 veteran, that may give him a tough test. So now, let's head over to Sydney for this weekends fights.

  17. Idk. I like the "currently wearing" for my fighters. You can see their walkout gear. I think that's cool element of customization. I know a lot don't give a rats ass about it, but cool to see the walkout gear.. I used to pay for custom skins. Sort of like a custom body. They used to be really popular before custom avatars. http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=118690 http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/products/1389817656stone%20top.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/products/1389817712stone%20bottom.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=76481 http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/products/13175219071%20taj%20top.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/products/13175220191%20taj%20bot.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=70356 http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/products/1276697991MarcianoTee.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/products/1276698031MarcianoShorts.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=73449 http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/products/135938125113002748011%20mos.JPG http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/products/135938127813002748341%20mos%202.JPG

Now, the problem is that there is no one left to fight right now, so I'm gonna take some time off to train and maybe do a superfight over at Sydney Fights who have been trying for a while now to get me over there. I gotta talk with RISE management and work out details, but yeah... looking forward to knocking someone else the Hell out! To all my fans out there, Love you guys!!!
