  8. Peak - Nordquist vs Ramses In the main event of the evening in the Featherweight division the 29 y swede John "The traveller kid" Nordquist will take on Americas John Ramses. Nordquist comes from two strait wins which he ended in a fashionable style under the minute in the first round by KO. Nordquist prefers to stand up while fighting but can mix it up with his takedowns. If he gets the fight to the ground he has a good top game and good gnp. The former Aspire featherweight champion and hall of famer John Ramses can end a fight in any way of his liking. If it goes to the ground he has a good ground game and won six of his fights by submission. If the fight take place standing he has shown to have some scary power and have seven wins by KO/TKO, Six of those fights he left his foe in total darkness with devastating KO,s and he will enter the octagon with two straight highlight head kick KO,s in his back. With two good stand up fighters, one with devastating gnp and one with leathal submissions it will be interesting to se where this fight will take place. Vince Neil vs David Wuzz 205Ibs The former KAMIKAZE champion David Wuzz is a true veteran is this sport. Wuzz is as dangerous as they come on the ground and if you give this man your pinkie he will take your whole arm. The black belt submission artist have an impressive 20 submissions in his record and if Neil wants to be victorious here he must stop the takedowns and keep this fight standing. If Neil manages to deny him his takedowns Wuzz has shown that he's shin can be cracked. The 28 year old Neil is a young man in this sport and still improving but it seems that there is one thing that he can't improve any more and that's his KO power. All of his wins have come by the way of KO/TKO. We got a submission artist vs a knockout artist. The question that remains is which artist will get the fight to their right element. Scott Keene vs Frank Smith 155Ibs Scott "The Knife" Keene is another veteran on this card. With his crisp boxing and relentless pressure it isn't hard to understand that the entertaining 40 year old American have collected a total of 11 fight of the night awards. Keene will face a 11 years younger Canadian in Frank Smith. Smith is a all round fighter with 9 wins and 13 defeats. Smith likes to come forward with high pressure and fights with his heart and sometimes he seems to forget about his defence and to protect his chin. I would be surprised if this one goes all full three rounds and the winner in scrap will be the one who wants it the most. Katsu Lauka vs Billy Ray Badass 205Ibs I wonder if people from BANGladesh loves to BANG because In Lauka case that's very true. Lauka comes from a Muai Thai background and his Thaiboxing took him all the way to a title fight In GAMMA,s middleweight division. Eight years has past since then and much has changed but Lauka is still standing and this time he will face off with Billy Ray Badass. Billy Likes to take the fight to the ground where he can use his wrestling to get on top of his opponents and unleash his ground and pound and fish for submissions. Billy Ray changed manager and dropped down from heavyweight to light heavyweight and he haven't looked better. Now he's looking to get the biggest win of his career in Lauka and by doing so he would send a message to the others in the division, that a newborn Billy Ray is ready for the top. Lugh Blackburn vs Eric Bueller 185Ibs Two gentlemen who like a good wine or brandy, improves with age. CEFC Hall of famer Blackburn have more than 60 professional fights under his belt (61) . Blackburns skillset matches his experience and there isn't a single thing he haven't experienced inside the octagon and there isn't a place inside the octagon where Blackburn isn't dangerous. With his skill set and experience he knows how to entertain the crowd and collected two fight of the night bonuses out of his last three fights. His opponent Eric "Bam Bam" Bueller prefers to stand and bang but if the fight hits the ground he can bang there aswell. The nickname "Bam Bam" couldn't be more spot on when describing this gentleman from Canada.

  17. The smoke has settled from the first Peak event, Peak - Round One. A successful event with a taste for more. We had 20 fighters lined up battling in 10 fights. Here's a quick recap. First up to share the octagon we had the two middleweights Alex Graves and Bob Dock. This turned out to be a grappling match where Graves managed to take the fight to the ground early in all the three rounds. On the ground both men battled for positions and tried to submit one and other and after 15 minutes all three judges had scored the bout 29-28 to Alex Graves. In our second fight of the evening we had another middleweight bout. Danny Page vs Tyrone Spong A close and exiting fight that got awarded with fight of the night. On the feet it was a close contested fight where both fighters had their moments. Page mixed in some takedowns that could have been what favoured him in the eyes of the judges and won a hard earned split decition victory. In our third fight we had a super heavyweight bout between Dalip Singh and Hulk Hogan. Both fighters seemed to want to test their ground skills against one and other and it was Singh who managed to nullify Hogans game and walked home with a decision victory. In our fourth fight Steve The Smiling Assassin took on Ernst Young in the Heavyweigh division. The Smiling Assassin took the fight to the clinch where he showed no mercy. After several punches and elbows half way through the first round Young went down and The Smiling Assassin could be announced as the winner by TKO. In the Welterweight division Dum Debble faced Jon Horn. Horn tried to lead with his kicks but came out short as Debble quickly found the rhythm with his boxing and got the fastest KO (41 sec) of the night after a Uppercut from Hell which left Horn unconscious. In the featherweight division Ruben Rivera faced James Hetfield. Rivera tried to dictate the tempo and keep Hetfield on the outside with his kicks but they were to telegraphed and Hetfield could avoid the kicks and the longer Hetfield could instead dictate the fight with his boxing and mixed it up with takedowns. Half way through the fight Hetfield dropped Rivera and got on top in mount and finished the fight via ground and pound. Steve Lucas and Vadim Nazarov faced off in the middleweight division. Lucas wanted to take this fight to the ground but Nazarov stoped all Lucas attempt to get his takedowns. Instead Nazarov pieced up Lucas on the feet with his clean boxing. Nazarov then proved he was not afraid to go to the ground with Lucas and landed a couple of takedowns himself. In the end of round two Lucas have had enough and went down after a big overhand right and Nazarov cought the moment and finished the fight on top and got the win by TKO. With three fights to go the two former number one ranked Lightweights Oscar Boma and Mordecai Sackett squared off. Both men showed their class and heart and fought like there were no tomorrow in a fight that took place on the feet. In the third round a tired Boma started to wobble on the feet and got dropped by a huge uppercut from Sackett. Sackett could then finish the fight with punches on the ground before the ref stopped the fight at 3,13 in round 3. In our co-main event Desmond Flannery faced off with Kevin Shinnie in a Heavyweight bout. Shinnie wanted to stand up in this matchup but he couldn't keep Flannery away from him while Flannery found his takedowns. From top position Flannery used his heavy ground and pound and Shinnie didnt seemed to have an answer for Flannerys wrestling. After some strikes from sidecontrol Flannery opened up a cut on Shinnie. Flannery got the taste for blood and a nasty elbow and some more ground and pound later the ref had seen enough and called the fight with one second left in the second round. In our main event of the evening in the light heavyweight division Yuuto Yoshida faced of with Nuke Laloosh. Laloosh were working with punches and kicks against Yoshidas head looking for a knockout. Laloosh were working to slow down his foe with legkicks and working the body with punches and kicks. Laloosh were a constant threat with his takedowns but when he got them Yoshida did a great job on his back avoiding the strikes and submission attempts from Laloosh and worked his way back on the feet or stalled the action and locked the positions so the ref were forced to break and let them restart on the feet due to inactivity. As the fight went on Laloosh were slowing down due to the leg and body work from Yoshida and Yoshida could grab a well deserved decition victory with all three judges scoring the bout 30-28. I would like to thank all the managers and their fighters for this evening, Cheers

  18. 1) IIRC until a couple days before the event takes place; 2) No limit; 3) There will be no fight; 4) Not sure if there's a limit but it could be anywhere from 2 days to a month or more. The org can offer a fight on the last day and if you accept/reject then the inactivity clause will reset. if you have a fight scheduled then the inactivity clause will not kick in.

  20. The 16th of March 2019 is the date for the first ever PEAK-Fight Club event. A lot of fine and exiting fighters will do PEAK the Honor and fight under it's banner in this historical event. In our main card of the evening PEAK will have the privilege to present. Yoshida vs Laloosh. 205Ibs Yoshida looks to extend his impressive six fight win streak and will do against the former Island, End of season Tournament winner Laloosh. "Live by the sword, die by the sword" are a phrase that both of these men seems to live by as they both give everything inside the octagon and either steps out as a winner or gets carried out on the shield with a L on the record but not as a looser. These two crowd pleasing warriors will defenetly keep the crowd on its toes. Flannery vs Shinnie. 265+Ibs When these two 265+ beasts collide it's seems almost impossible that this fight goes to the distance. Famous for both his chin and his heavy hands Shinnie always put on a show. Shinnie loves his boxing and I understand why, when he connects he could probably turn the lights of from the sun. Flannery on the other side is a ground specialist. With furious ground and pound and dangerous submissions this man can drag any man out on deep water and end their night before it even started. Mordecai "Golden Boy" Sackett vs Oscar Boma. 155Ibs Two legends of the sport. Two fighters who doesn't need any introduction. Two former number one ranked lightweights. Sackett were ranked number 6 pound for pound in the world at one point and with a new manager the 36 year old Sacket are eager to climb to the top once more. Oscar Boma have looked really good lately and have three straight wins and of course, all by knockout Boma must have iron in his fists. With 32 knockouts on his record it makes this knockout machine a lethal threat to anyone or anything who has a chin. Vadim Nazarov vs Steve Lucas. 185Ibs Under new management the one and only "The Ukranian Nightmare" Vadim Nazarov will enter the octagon to show he still got what it takes. He have no less than 44 wins on his record with 25 stoppages all by KO. Nazarov will enter the octagon fighting Steve "Snake" Lucas a submission artist with 17wins, 16 of them comes by submission. Lucas are 11 years younger than Nazarov and are keen to show Nazarov that the octagon are no place for old men. Here we have a classic grappler vs stand up matchup, do not blink. Ruben Viera vs James Hetfield.145Ibs The two 145'ers Viera and Hetfield are both coming from loosing streaks and are looking to get back to the win column. Hetfields fights rarely goes to distance. In his 26 fights only 6 of them have gone full time. He relies in his heavy hands and his raw KO-power, but KO,ing Viera won't be an easy task. Viera have never been stopped by punches before. Vieras most dangerous weapon are his leathal kicks with which can end a fight in a instant. Can't wait to se who will come out on top in this matchup. So make sure you get your ass to The Micro Arena in Amsterdam the 16th because you do not want to miss this.

  22. Unchained Podcast Episode 1 - Looking back “Welcome welcome to the first ever episode of the Unchained Podcast featuring one of the founders, Neon Richards, where we will look back on his managing career after such a long break. I am very excited to get this started and get these rolling, so let’s get started by welcoming Neon Richards!” [Neon Richards walks into camera view and shakes hands with Humble before sitting down onto the guest chair] Humble: “Welcome, Neon! How’s it feel to be back in the MMA world?” Neon: “Feels amazing it’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally happened. And coming back and seeing all the progression that has happened since I’ve been back is amazing. I’m glad to see RISE is part of the top 10 orgs in the game and knowing that you worked so hard for it to be in that spot it’s crazy to see it actually happen. This is just the first step we came back and now have a new org and a new gym that we are going to invest a lot of time money and effort into. Can’t wait to make that staple impact on the game like I know we can.” Humble: “You've got the confidence for it that’s for sure. Do you miss the rise brand knowing you were largely involved with it? How do you feel it affected your career?” Neon: “The RISE brand for me was never at the same level as it did to you of course being the creator and devoting a lot of time into the org to try and make it into that top position for best orgs in the game. Being with you coming up with the name and sending out those contracts to get all those new fighters in which some went on to be champions and even into the orgs hall of fame. RISE will always have a place in my heart and I will forever remember the day that you made it and seeing how far it has come is only going to help me strive to create another org that is just as successful.” Humble: “Those were the good days and RISE will always have a place in my heart as well. It is being well taken care of, however, and im proud to see it thriving. But, looking back before you and I both took a break from managing, who would you say your favorite fighter on your roster was? Does anybody stand out?” Neon: “Well I have to go back to my main fighter the one that really brought a name to myself and got everyone to know me as a gm in the mma tycoon world. “The Tyrant” Thomas Kortez, the keyboard warrior that could back it up in the cage has got to be my favorite fighter of all. I’m just happy on what he has done and I will always know him for what he has done to not only his name, but mine as a manager.” Humble: “Do you feel that you could have another fighter possibly take that mantle in the future?” Neon: “I don’t really know if I will ever have another fighter like that again. I do hope that I will have many fighters in the future that come out to have better records but the legacy that Thomas put on buzz will forever be remembered. Everyday people in the mma tycoon community got onto buzz and could always see the roasts that Thomas brought to everyone that got in his way. At one point I’m sure people just checked buzz to see Thomas go off on people or be in another fight with Mark Tyme. He carries on a legacy that not many have been successful at. We’ve seen many people get on buzz and roast but not like Thomas Kortez did.” Humble: “The fan favorite, the tyrant, Thomas Kortez was insane and I’m glad I was able to witness some of his fights as well. But moving on to the future, you have opened a new gym called Unchained Gym, and congrats on that. Would you like to tell the world what your plans are with this gym?” Neon: “The gym has got some big plans coming to it. We hope to get more coaches put into the gym and open it up to the public in beautiful London and expand the unchained name. As for now it’s a work in progress just getting everything set up, but it will be opening soon and I hope that we fill and can make this gym into one of the greats as well.” Humble: “I fully believe that you are capable of doing so. Thank you for coming here and sparing some of your time for us. We’ve run out of time for this interview unfortunately, but I hope to speak with you in another one very soon. Thank you.” [Humble and Neon chat inaudibly as the screen fades to black, finishing off the brief pilot episode]
