  2. UnderGround FC 98 Review! Hello UnderGround Fight Club fans it's Tony Soprano back again for the review of UnderGround 98! UnderGround 98 was headlined by the 170 pound championship fight between defending Champion Yves "Apache" Trudeau and challenger Gabriel "Tarantula" Torres! Let's get this review started! Prelims: 265+ pound division: Bac "Spring Pac" Nguyen Xuan (1-0) def Andrejs "Lacis" Medvedevs (1-3) via unamious decision Xuan came out and executed his gameplan right away beginning with 3 takedowns in the first round. He was able to control the ground for most of the round not allowing Medvedevs a chance to mount any offense. The second round was much of the same with Xuan scoring another quick takedown however Medvedevs was able to attempt a few submissions but they weren't close and Xuan continued his dominance on the ground winning the first 2 rounds on most scorecards. The 3rd round saw the most action as both fighters ramped it up to make their case for a decision victory. Medvedevs attempted a clinch to change things up but it wasn't successful and then the rest of the round was a ground battle with both fighters attempting many submissions. However at the end of the fight the judges have scored the fight in favor of Xuan by unamious decision! Xuan won his RRFC debut and will look to put another win under his belt in his next fight. Medvedevs was unlucky in this fight essentially being controlled for most of the fight. He is now 1-2 in RRFC and will need to go back to his team and change the game plan for his next fight. 265+ pound division: Marilin "The Demolition Man" Manson (3-1) def Bill "Koutalas" Koutalianos (1-2) via submission (Americana) The one ended very quick as Manson landed a takedown right away on a clearly tired Koutalianos. Manson landed a few strikes while on the ground before locking in the Americana choke and forced his opponent to tap out! Manson has now won 3 out of his last 4 fights while Koutalianos has lost 2 fights in a row and will need to rework things for his next fight. 265+ pound division: Hot Steel (9-4) def Kamen "The Stone" Kamenov (5-12-1) via T/KO (strikes) Hot Steel made his presence known quickly in this fight. He was able to cut Kamenov very quickly which Kamenov had to worry about and you could tell changed his gameplan up right away. Steel took advantage dropping Kamenov with a big head kick that he was able to recover from but was definitely feeling the effects. Steel would keep the pressure on and drop his opponent again with a beautiful combo. Steel then waved Kamenov back to his feet which Kamenov probably shouldn't have done because Steel was able to knock him down again with another combo and finally finish off Kamenov with a big right hand and ground and pound until the referee stepped in and stopped the fight! Hot Steel has now won his first 2 fights in UnderGround FC and will look to keep it going with his next fight. Kamenov has lost 4 straight and is really struggling in his UnderGround FC career. 145 pound division: Killua "Kill" Zoldyk (8-9) def Ky Tycoon (8-6) via T/KO (punches) The first round of this fight was a chess battle on the ground as Tycoon was able to land a takedown early and controlled the ground game attempting many submissions but none were successful. It wasn't a very exciting round to be honest as Zoldyk's only real big move was reversing position on the ground once but not doing much with it. Tycoon won the first round easily. The second round was much different as Zoldyk and his team clearly changed the game plans and took advantage! Tycoon came out looking for more takedowns however Zoldyk was able to defend all of them and land a big uppercut and head kick that rocked Tycoon. Zoldyk kept the pressure and landed a jab and a big right hand that had Tycoon out on his feet. Zoldyk landed another big right hand forcing the referee to jump in and put a stop to the fight! Zoldyk breaks his 3 fight losing streak with this win as Tycoon has lost 5 of his last 7 fights. 155 pound division: Crazy Horse (5-0) def Rob Gross (7-7) via submission (triangle choke) Crazy Horse is undefeated and his dominance showed tonight as Gross didn't even have a chance to hear the opening bell ring. Horse landed a takedown right away and didn't take long to lock in a triangle choke that forced Gross to tap in less than a minute winning Crazy Horse $500 for submission of the night! Horse will take his 5-0 record and continue his dominance in his next fight while Gross has lost his last 3 fights and needs to change something big before his career slips away. Main Card: 155 pound division: Israel "Redbeard" Hands (5-2) def Reima Poika (6-2-1) via submission (anaconda choke) Hand was dominate on the ground and on the feet in this fight. It started on the feet until Hands rocked Poika and dropped him with a big shot which Poika was able to recover from however it left him with a good sized cut. He wasn't able to recover fully though as Hands followed him to the ground and began to work his ground game trying for an arm triangle but then transitioning to an anaconda choke that he locked in. Poika refused to tap out and was choked unconscious for that decision! Hands has now won 5 of 6 and is on a 3 fight win streak in UnderGround FC while Poika has lost 2 straight and has struggled in his short time at UnderGround FC. 265+ pound division: Joe "Shotgun" Clark (5-0) def Crispin "Sundowner" Freeman (3-2) via T/KO (strikes) Clark is another undefeated fighter and it showed in his performance tonight. He came out firing shots and was able to cut Freeman in the first minute. Both fighters continued to trade shots however Freeman had the cut to worry about and it was continuing to get worse. Clark could see that and continued to target the cut until it got so bad it was all Freeman could think about. Clark took advantage again and landed a huge uppercut that hurt Freeman who basically covered up until the referee jumped in to stop the fight! It was absolutely a one sided fight in this one. Clark is now 5-0 and won his first fight back at UnderGround since June of 2019. Freeman had his 3 fight win streak snapped with this loss and will look to bounce back in his next fight. 135 pound division: Anthony Shiina (11-5) def Morris Day (11-5) via submission (triangle choke) Shiina shined in this fight much to the surprise of Day. Day actually landed the only takedown but was then in over his head as Shiina instantly shook off the ground and pound attempts from Day and worked to land a submission from his back. After first attempting an arm bar he chose to try and complete a loose triangle that Day reacted to slowly too and was able to lock it in tight and force Day to tap out! Great showing of BJJ from Shiina for the win! Shiina wins his UnderGround debut in a great way and will look to continue his dominance in his next fight while Day has lost 2 of his last 3 fights and will look to get back in the win column in his next fight. CO MAIN EVENT AND FIGHT OF THE NIGHT! 155 pound division: Akaro "Kid Lighting" Horiguchi (8-2) def Liberal Stomper (13-4) via unamious decision This was an absolute war and rightfully earning $500 for each men for fight of the night. The first round was back and forth on the feet with both men trading shots. Horiguchi was cut and rocked in the round by a hook to the side of the head from Stomper but other then that pretty much dominated the round. The second round was alittle more conservative as both fighters continued to trade shots but no fighter getting hurt badly by any of the shots. It was a very close round with some cards split on who won the round so both fighters know for a fact that they are still in this fight! The third round showed that as the action picked back up with Horiguchi landing a takedown and attempting a submission that was unsuccessful. The fight went back to the feet for the rest of the round with punches being thrown by both men and Horiguchi briefly landing a clinch but not for long. The round ended with both men surviving to hear the judges score the contest in favor of Akaro "Kid Lighting" Horiguchi. Horiguchi has now won 5 of his last 6 fights and is on a current 2 fight win streak while Stomper has lost 4 of his last 6 fights after winning the first 11 fights of his career and will need to revisit his team to get back to winning. MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING! 170 pound Championship: Defending Champion Yves "Apache" Trudeau (14-3) def Gabriel "Tarantula" Torres (11-2) via T/KO (strikes) Well, if you were waiting all night for the main event...it didn't last long at all. If your a Trudeau fan then that's a great thing but if your a Torres fan than it was a disappointing night as Torres was hit with a right hand of hell from Trudeau after he was able to dodge his first combination of punches. Trudeau didn't let Torres recover as he jumped in and ended the fight with punches and elbows at just 19 seconds of the very first round. Trudeau showed why he's the champ as he successfully defends his Championship for the first time in impressive fashion! Trudeau will look for his second Championship defense and his 5th straight victory as he already signed on to fight Wally "Booger" Kruschev (8-3) at UnderGround FC 106! Torres had his 2 fight win streak snapped and his only 2 losses in his career have come in Championship fights. He will look to get back on the right track in his next fight and keep his name in the 170 pound Championship conversation! That will end my review of another great card and a great Saturday night of fights! It is always an honor to bring these previews and reviews to the fans of UnderGround FC. Tune in this week for my previews of UnderGround 99 and 100! Once again this is Tony Soprano wishing you all a good night!

  6. What's good, fam. It's ya boi, Nate Baker. I'm doing this off the top of my head. This is all freestyle. I'm working on a car at work, I'm gonna be all over the place. First, let's talk about last weekend's event. JAG Point vs Cole...Brayden Point retains his title...yes again. A beautiful armbar to retain his title. I'm sure we'll see Cole fighting for that title again in the future. Next was, another brilliant prodigy, Professor Xe, who's been here since we started. (More on him later in his interview) vs JAG newcomer Galtero El Toro, who is a Former DK and Two time Skrap champ. These guys put on a grappling exhibition, ending in victory for Professor Xe, by way of Guillotine. The last few minutes of the match were some of the most exciting of the event. I'm sure these two warriors will meet again, down the line. I'll be bringing you interviews and event preview...well, my version of it anyways, on Friday. This weekend's event is a big one...ya heard me? Now we got a situation, Brayden has pretty much, sorry guys, dogwalked the 145 division. So, now we want to see how many of them want to fight for another shot. So, if you're interested, post in here. I gotta go pay some bills. I'll be right back with real spit

  7. Could you name 5 significant updates for an year and a half?

  8. This makes sense because if you are very strong, you shouldn't be able to have matching cardio and vice versa. Either that OR making the physical monsters pay for having jacked physicals by having the excess physicals points cut into their overrall cap/secondaries cap. I think that would work better if there was some kind of modifier to make the penalty balanced. As for clinch TDs and TD def I also believe this to be hugely unneeded and nonsensical.

  12. Game has 2000's design, barely gets any updates, cheating is allowed 99/100 times so yeah... let's blame Alex for killing it for everyone lmao

  13. This makes perfect sense but still, depending on how much accuracy %, opp. chin, Power, Strength, etc. the KO might just not come.

  14. The way I see it forums are fair game. Don't post outside of your fight organization unless your ready for some....let's call it..... feedback! Not trying to be a dick just gave some advice is all! Good luck! I just became a writer last month so if your interested you'll definitely land with an organization.

  18. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15811035305748.jpg Guido "Rear Admiral" Turturro 14-3-0 100% finish rate I can't believe that it is almost time for Wilder VS Fury 2! I like myself a nice cuddling from time to time, but that one is going to be an actual war. My prediction you ask? Wilder reopens Fury's cut and turns him into a red baboon. Wilder by TKO stoppage (cuts) in the 7th. PS: my training camp is going steady and relaxed. My time will come, have patience my dear!

  19. Clinch TD and TD Def are as ridiculous as adding clinch punch tech and clinch striking def. The TD and td def skill should remain universal w/ clinchwork skill minorly impacting success/defense from clinch position. The physical cap would work if wasn't an extreme difference, and you had strength and cardio balance each other out. Feel like Exceptional/Exceptional or Elite/Wonderful should be enforced. Elite strength? Wonderful/Exceptional cardio. Elite cardio? Wonderful/Exceptional strength. Feel like the rest of physicals could stand as is, if you just had the strength/cardio scale counter balance each other, would be more realistic imo. Elite/Wonderful would probably be a good barrier for Str/Cardio.

  22. Giving people money does not mean you can treat them like shit. You dont buy affection, thats not how human interactions works. Its toxic, its not healthy for the game acticity and we seriously should address it.the forum should not be a tool for easy bullying because you are a failure IRL. It should be a safer, friendly space for newcomers. Thats what makes the game pop grows. Nice try to cover for your abusive friends, but maybe next time just be better, ok?

  23. When you lend fighters to another org and they fight their inactivity in your own org is still running instead of resetting. This needs to be fixed.

  25. I take offense to being used in the same sentence as chodemara!! And I'm pretty sure everyone is just busting his balls. But if he's going to do a podcast, he should do a podcast(or reviews or whatever it is he plans on doing). Writing a paragraph about the results of an event isn't interesting for anyone to read(imo).

  26. A bit odd when someone gets upset that someone else called a bird - a bird, or a cat - a cat, or, in this case, a turd - a turd.

  29. Speaking of turds, I did not know how bad the homeless situation was in your city until Humors posted your pictures. It`s crazy they just squat and shit all over the place, a real eye opener. For what it`s worth he should not have gone so far as to post your pictures. I believe there is a not so fine line between us trolling each other here and directly financially shaming someone You have every right to be extremely angry but you are directing your anger at new members and not your political leaders. If you want we can talk about it, perhaps you can trade slider/training knowledge for actual financial / career advise?
