You read that right, I know I have been less then active lately and many are missing me terribly so I have come up with an idea to try and peak my interest to return me on a more regular basis for another League of Leagues tourney, this time.... the Island edition!!! How many managers can we put together for this? Can we make this the most epic tourney of all time? How many managers would be interested? Given it is to take place on the island the prize pool might not be as epic but this is more for the fun of the game? Still need to look over previous editions to determine entrant numbers and time frame but seeing as the next Island season is not slated to start until sometime between September 1st and October 1st I have the time needed. Over the next little while I will begin getting this all set and finalized of course based on user interest, but given every manager in the game is able to create 2 island fighters for free I feel strongly we can build one monster of a tourney! Please post your interest here and we will start building a field of managers to take on the gauntlet to end all gauntlets during our next Island season!

I was told by a valuable source Oct 1 or maybe sooner if enough interest existed. Was this an admission to wanting to join this craziness?

Hello savages, as 400k approaches and Savage Fightwear looks to revisit our scholarship program, it feels like a good time to check in with our original 5 - the OG's if you will. 3 years ago this month, July 2020, we launched our scholarship program. Introducing you all to 5 promising prospects, with violence and savagery a very part of their DNA. But, this is MMA, and violence and savagery alone will not get you to the top. Let us see how our OG's careers played out...

Takeshi "Naniwa Hawk" Takamura (350344) - Retired Takeshi "Naniwa Hawk" Takamura had all of the ingredients to be a devastating Savage, but sometimes life doesn't go as you planned. Managed by one of MMAT's most creative managers, Rei, Takeshi showed real promise early on, even if he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed (113IQ). His career record of 4 wins (2TKO, 2 decision) and 5 losses (2TKO, 2 subs, 1 decision) don't tell the true story of the Naniwa Hawks tumultuous life outside of the octagon. He will always be an OG savage, but a host of unfortunate events and injuries meant retirement was the only option for Takeshi "Naniwa Hawk Takamura. Some say he returned to his hometown of Osaka, Japan. Supporting his family and the people of his local area, others suggest he roams from place to place taking part in MOBA competitions under various pseudonyms. Wherever you are Takeshi, and however you choose to walk through this life, may the Savage gods go with you.

Our next round of Savage Scholarships will be rising stars and mega stars, with cards being made available to wear as clothing. See concept design above.

BREAKING NEWS: A verbal agreement has been made between SPPS legend Edward “Mr. Pickle” Mills and former WVT champion Adrian “Dill” Picklesbly. The fight is tentatively scheduled for SPPS 269 (haha) in Los Angeles!
