  2. You want Barry Allen/Flash as Harrison Wells? Interesting.. lol Use him...
  3. Would have been nice to have gotten at least one poster out of you before you switched over to Tribal. LMAO Great work Butch!
  4. That's kind of what he looked like after he had his face smashed in by Matt Hughes though..
  5. Agreed.. sadly, I don't see any reason that KT couldn't be as profitable in the game as MMA, outside of the fact that not enough managers are committed to it in order to build a KT org up enough to start holding those PPV's and making the big bucks.
  6. Hey guys, there's a few things I would like to have for the HFC. I need a graphics designer to help me out.. I need the following services: 1) top 5 or top 10 rankings graphic. For this, I just want a basic graphic that is blank of names so that I can go in and add names in correct order weekly as I update the rankings. Nothing fancy, but maybe leave a spot for an avatar picture for the champ. and the rest will just be represented by the # of their rank. 2) Event Posters. With this, I want a cool image to run as a mainstay for the background of a fight poster. I will upload this image and add an overlay to for the specific event/fight information. I just want a general design that would represent the HFC that I can add to for events. I will take 4 of these. I will pay 100k for a ranking graphics I like, and I will pay 50k each for the event posters. Please contact me via direct message if you are interested and/or want more details.
  7. Just testing different styles and options. Work in progress, will have each division posted in similar manor in the next day or two. Just a starting point, going to make a better graphic for this, it's too damned late to expect any better.
  8. Top 10 rankings posted on home page news feed. Will update rankings here within the next 24 hours.
  9. Nah, I'm just getting started in it. I have always been an MMA fan in game and RL. You won't be the only one because I've thought that KT could be a much more fair and edge of your seat system if the org was set up properly with some competent managers fighting there. I mean, you could have a guy with 15 in pretty much ever skill needed for KT, so these fights really would be all about a fighters hidden attributes to give them the edge. Rematches would be worth taking because was the first win just a lucky KO, or does that guy just have a little extra something we can't quite put a finger on. I think KT could be a very, very fun future, I just don't think we have a large enough player base to sustain it. But with the managers on board and supporting Victory, maybe KT will have a chance yet.
  10. DreQuan "Big Hit" Watson (365076) - 205 Krystov Abbott (366300) - if you're accepting 265+ to put on a shelf for after or to replace those who don't make it though the end of this Grand Prix.
  11. HFC 33 - Review - And Neeeewwwww!!! Dos Anjos Def Nickel via Submission (Triangle) :57 of round 4 http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15934452645739.gif 185 Title Bout - Sub of the Night What a fight! These guys were monsters out there! This was truly a championship quality fight that lived up to the billing. Dos Anjos came out looking to take this fight to the clinch, but Nickel was quick to get back to range, wanting none of that. Nickel cut Dos Anjos half way through the first, but wasn't able to capitalize on it. Round two and three was more of the same, clinch and break, and even opening up Dos Anjos' cut a little more in the third. The fourth round started in the clinch, but this time Dos Anjos pulled the fight into his guard and having already worn down Nickels energy, was able to start working his BJJ. Three attempts in and Dos Anjos works in a triangle, and before a tired Nickel could react, he tightened it up and locked it in, forcing the champ to tap. And NEEEEWWWWWW Middleweight Champion of the world... Dos Anjos!!! Blaze "Dos Anjos displayed a variety of skills here, and a great determination to win. He fought like a champion today, and now he is a champion. Nickel fought his ass off, and he will be right there at the top of the division for the foreseeable future, and do not be surprised if we see these two in the cage together again down the road." "I caught up with Dos Anjos after the big win, he didn't have much time before his after party but I was able to get his thoughts on the fight." Dos Anjos "He was a tough customer. I tried to put his lights out in the first but he took every hard shot and kept coming forward. However the outcome was never in question, I'm the better all-round fighter!" Taurus Def Ulster via Decision (Unanimous) http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15813070916908.jpg Our co-main event was another great fight that went the distance! Ulster was the higher ranked fighter, and Taurus the underdog, even though Taurus displays some striking advantages. Blaze got the winner right here, but that was bout it.. and Ulster took note. Taurus came out swinging and he looked to be landing with power, or perhaps Ulster has some impressive defense, but Taurus was by far the more aggressive fighter in this bout. Ulster kept looking to take the fight to the clinch, but when he was there, Taurus held his own and didn't give any ground. This fight was really won for Taurus in his ability to keep the fight standing for the most part. Ulster was only able to score one takedown of his 7 attempts standing, and 1 of 4 from the clinch. In that time on the ground, where Taurus is known to be completely clueless, Ulster struggled to get anything going. He was unable to lock up any of his 12 submission attempts and was very slow to gain position over Taurus. Blaze "Man, I had spoken to Taurus before the fight and he told me he was going to KO Ulster in the 1st round, or it was all over. I even gave him that vote on my prediction, but man, Ulster either has a very good chin, or Taurus doesn't pack much of a punch. But I have to say, Taurus has the heart of a lion to find a way to stay in that fight and defend on the ground. I wasn't able to catch Taurus right after the fight, but an angry Ulster pulled me to the side as he made his way from the cage." http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/35/35w17.jpg Dixon Ulster "I'm pissed I didn't win but I just gave three rounds of hell to a fighter that was supposed to be head and shoulders above me in the stand up department. I'd run it back with this guy any time and stop him he didn't show me anything special. It was fun fuckin up Blaze's bullshit fight prediction, first round KO my ass." Yonic Def Jack via TKO (Strikes) 2:48 of round 2 This fight was HUGE For Yonic. Jack is a former champion, and a top 5 contender for the belt, and Yonic was on the cusp of breaking into the top 10, and boy, did he break in! Again, we find Harley predict the correct winner, and upset victory at that, but again, he was wrong on the finish. The first round was a grappling match of back and forth wrestling maneuvers, boring the fans to some degree to where the ref felt the need to stand the fight up. So, the fighters stood up, and then sprawled back to the ground to finish out the round. The second looked to be more of same, but within seconds, Yonic popped Jack with a nice combo and cut him above his eye. Jack, possibly to protect his eye, took the fight to the clinch which gave Yonic the chance to get this fight back to the ground. This time, having landed in side control, Yonic was able to work some powerful GnP and rocked Jack in a big way, forcing the ref to step in and end the fight. Blaze "This was a good fight, at least would have been for the TWGC. These men were well matched on the ground, but Yonic proved to be a bit better. Jack will recover and fight on like he always does. That man would fight a bear if you gave him a paycheck and put it on an HFC card. And he may actually win! Great win by Yonic, this win will do wonders for his rankings and popularity, and he will be in the discussion for being a contender in our next rankings." King Def Mcsparr via Decision (Unanimous) This fight was almost over before it started. Mcsparr throws out a sloppy right that somehow connected, and boy did it connect rocking King right off the bat! But King showed some real heart and stunned Mcsparr then backed away to recover his senses. That's some good instinct right there. From that point forward, King was the more aggressive fighter and being as neither fighter could finish, it went the distance and landed in the hands of the judges, who rightfully awarded King the victory. King was very accurate and striking in volume, most likely playing this fight for a decision victory against the dangerous Mcsparr. Blaze "Well, you kind of stole my thunder, not really much else to say. When you leave the fight to the judges, they are going to score it how they see it. King dominated this fight, and they got it right, but when you leave it in the hands of the judges, anything can happen. " De Oliveira Def Rousey Submission (Armbar) 1:24 of round 1 Blaze "De Oliveira made quick work of Rousey in this one. He took the fight to the ground the second the bell rang and went to work, locking in an armbar just over a minute into the very first round. Great submission victory for De Oliveira." Andrade Def Nascimento via Decision (Unanimous) Blaze "Two guys with similar fighting styles, both strikers, and both with granite chins. We all knew this was going to be a hell of a fight, and these two didn't disappoint. These guys bounced around the cage, in and out of the clinch, throwing down. Both displayed some excellent striking defense and variety to their attack, but Andrade was just a little more aggressive and just a little more accurate and that appeared to me to be the reason Andrade got the win in this amazing fight." Jahouli Def Travis via Decision (Unanimous) Blaze "Another fight going the distance, boxer vs MT artist, striker vs striker, finisher vs finisher? Not tonight, as these two men stood toe to toe and went the distance, swangin' n bangin'. Travis was using his boxing well early on, countering strikes from Jahouli, and enough pop to cut Jahouli in the first minute of the fight. Jahouli took the fight in and out of the clinch throughout the fight, protecting his cut well, and dominating the fight on the score cards. Jahouli really dominated the fight in the clinch, and that was where he stood out to me, at least." De Souza Def Godwin via TKO (Strikes) :39 of round 1 http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/21/21b3.jpg KO of the Night Blaze "FINALLY! I know this was an undercard event and happened earlier in the night, but as far as going over these fights, finally I get to talk about the KO of the night! Finally we had another fast finish! When you are up here at the top like the gladiators in the HFC, you don't see very many quick finishes anymore. So when we do see one, I get all excited and almost giddy. Bell rings, De Souza feints left, then pops Godwin with a jab that drew blood. He blocks a head kick, they do a little dance, and then a brutal right hook buckles Goodwin's knees, and De Souza went in for the kill. 39 seconds baby, that's what I'm talking about!" Wagner Def Northwood via Submission (Guillotine) 2:43 of round 1 http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/2/2w1.jpg Co-Sub otN Blaze "Wagner has KO power. Wagner is a brown belt. Wagner likes to win. Wagner won. This fight lasted about half a round, but it was fast paced grappling with some submission exchanges, but half way through the first Wagner put Northwood to sleep! Go to sleep, bitch!! This fight was the runner up for the submission otN award, only losing out based on the hype and importance of the Dos Anjos fight. So Wagner will be awarded a 5k submission of the Night bonus for co-SotN." Pisswater Def Vinsson via Decision (Unanimous) http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15803205804909.gif Fight of the Night Blaze "And he did it, the crop-eared Bisping.. err.. sorry Nati, J.W. put me up to it, for real. But in our event opener, Pisswater and Vinsson threw down in a fantastic brawl to get things started. Both fighters having a granite chin, we knew it was going to be a slug fest. We didn't get the KO finish we were looking for, but it may have been even better this way. Then fans loved it, showing their appreciation with a very high approval rating. We respect the fans, we respect the wars, and this fight earned the fight of the night award. When we look at the lopsided score card, and then go look at the stats from the fight, you can't deny the outcome. Nati dominated this fight, was very, very accurate with his striking and absolutely brutal in the clinch. This fight may not have went the distance if not for the 4 (of 12) takedowns that Vinsson got in allowing him to work in some minor ground and pound. This didn't phase Nati as he was able to escape over and over and Nati looked like an absolute machine in this fight. We were able to pull Nati aside back in the locker room, and he was more than happy to talk about this victory with us." Pisswater "I'd like to take a moment to thank the V-man for making this award possible! If it weren't for his granite chin and heart, and the ability to keep getting back up so I could put him on his ass again like a game of wack-a-mole, this wouldn't have been half as fun! I appreciate his ability to be abused by me for a full three rounds, excellent job!" Blaze "Well, that was very respectful.. I think. That was one hell of a fight though, you guys both deserve credit. But you never had any doubt, did you? Reports came out of your camp that you were focused and 100% confident you were going to win this fight, and you were right. So what made you so confident?" Pisswater "I told you this fight was mine and that the V-man was taking a loss. Told you I was going to be 6-0 after this weekend! I won't be denied. However, I will give credit where credit is due...the V-man can take a punch, that's for sure. I was laying into that biatch and he kept coming back, dropped his ass I don't know how many times? And he came back. But he thought he could get me with his ground game? No, I don't think so bubs!" Blaze "6-0? Oh, you mean the QFC amateur fight? And what about, ah, never mind. I'm not bringing that back up. This was an outstanding fight, a huge win for you man, and congratulations on your Fight of the Night award, well earned by both of you." Pisswater "One last thing, man. Thanks to Ma Balls Is Hot for staying there for me and sending me out in my digs man! Oh, and Barbosa, I'm looking at you buddy! Ya want some? Come get some!" Blaze "And there we have it, folks. Pisswater started the night with a bang, and he sends us off with a call out! What a night, what a fight, and what a potential match up should we see that Barbosa vs Pisswater come to light. Spark one up if you have it and blaze out, blazers! Stay Hardcore!"
  12. If managers are concerned with their names being displayed next to their picks, I can omit that part. But I think this adds more flavor.
  13. There were no correct winners. Three managers predicted the correct winner, two of those predicted the correct method. None correctly guessed the round or got the bonus. We only had 7 managers participate this week. Hare, asked if Donkey could pick for him, and then forgot to send his picks in. So c'mon guys, this can be fun, I'll keep doing this each week. We'll do this for the Main and Co-Main fight for each event. And if nobody wins again next week, I'll consider changing it to making a pick for each fight so you get 2 entries. Partial: In the event that O Connell would have guessed the correct round and won the pick, I would have awarded the bonus 50k to him and given credit for the partially correct answer. Correct would have been Triangle, not Triangle Armbar. However, due to the fact that there were no other correct guesses for the bonus, the partial answer would have been correct.
  14. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15897320126752.png Harley Blaze "Hey Blazers! Just a quick post fight update to drop the Fight of the Night winners from tonight's card. We had a large amount of decision victories in one of our longest running events in HFC history." Fight of the Night: Nati Pisswater vs Bilal Vinsson This fight was just phenomenal, and we actually had a couple of fights that were worthy of the FotN reward. Taurus vs Ulster was a very, very close fight that was the runner up, but there were a few other fights, including the main event that were in the running for this reward. In the end, we chose the Pisswater vs Vinsson for the award for a few key reasons. For starters, this was the second highest rated fight on the card, second only to the fight that rewarded the the sub of the night. This rating was from the fans appreciation of a great fight, and who are we to argue with that! When the fans give 90%+ for a fight that goes the distance, that's saying something. And the HFC listened. This fight was also the first fight of the evening, so these warriors went out there and hyped up the crowed and got them ready to go from the start, and that is always a good thing. KO of the Night: Juan De Souza Well, this was a pretty easy reward to pass out. We only had two qualifying victories for this award, and one was a quick 39 second TKO victory that made this a no brainer. De Souza only landed one punch in that fight, and it was the one that put his opponent down. The TKO is because the ref stepped in to save the man from further punishment. Sub of the Night: Ademare Dos Anjos And for the submission of the night, what a choice! We had a first round guillotine and a first round armbar, and then a fourth round triangle. Most of the time this fight is awarded by the degree of difficulty, the ease of the lock in, or a slick move to get the submission win. Sometimes we give it to the guy who has that under a minute submission, and sometimes we give it to a guy who works his ass off all fight long to finally wear down his opponent and secure a victory, even when that's a title fight. What a fight! We'll get into that on the upcoming fight review, but as for the reward, after three brutal rounds of action between these two titans, Dos Anjos earned his award, both sub of the night and a new shiny gold belt with a triangle choke that took him the whole fight to wear down and secure. Excellent job by our new HFC Middleweight champion!
  15. Pisswater vs Barbosa? Could that be a call-out? Hey Harley, I think I just heard Nati make a call-out! I should start talking shit about his ears more often!
  16. If more people made KT fighters, and the org could get big and make a decent profit, the monetary incentive would be there, at least. There really are no high end KT contracts because no KT org seems to make enough to offer those contracts. The only reason most of these young MMA fighters are getting paid well these days is because of older managers with big bank accounts willing to start off with big losses to get the roster built quickly. KT could thrive just as much as MMA, it's just more linear. Less slider play, and a hell of a lot less training. I mean, you should be able to have a KT guy ready to go twice as fast as an MMA fighter.. Focus on 100% stand up skills and can use the rest for wrestling to maybe increase his clinch.. dunno, not been there. But those guys seems like they could be the "fast path" in this game as far as having a guy from creation to champ and maxing out his primary stats to be playing with the big boys. Or maybe that's another issue with ID restricted KT, a guy develops so fast, he can jump to open ID much faster than he could in MMA? Meh, I got high... started babbling.. my bad. lol
  17. Same, I have a 350k KT welterweight who has been fighting MMA his whole career. (Thought SAFO was KT when I signed) If Victory does open up, he could slide into the 185.
  18. I just made a couple of strikers and had started working on their TD def when I noticed the Victory Kickboxing org. So they will be KT for a while, and if it's fun, maybe a long while. But I was lucky they were 365k. There is definitely a need at 350 and 355k in KT, and for KT no reason those can't be all fighting against each other in one org. Just needs to be an org owner who has the patience to fill up a KT roster.
  19. Hey man, best of luck to you in getting a contract, but in case you were not aware, there is a sticky thread at the top of this page for exactly that reason. http://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=908&page=349 Also, if I might suggest, when you post a fighter info for a contract, provide a link to the fighter page and/or give his name/ID. For example: Great Tiger (329686) http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=329686 This will help org owners quickly identify the ID range of the fight, and give them the ID so they can send the contract. They have a quick link to the fighter profile to take a look at his hype/pop and stats and can quickly decide if they want to send a contract your way. As you are doing it now, you make a post and the manager has to click on your profile, scroll down your page to your fighter list, then find the fighter you mention on your list to click on him to get his info. Not exactly hard, but when you're a busy org owner and dealing with several contracts a day, the less you have to look up the better. I offer this advice as an org owner, to help make it easier for you to get a contract by making it easier on them to offer you one. Good luck! **Edit** I didn't realize you were a seasoned vet. Perhaps a returning manager? Either way, advice above stand, but please don't think I was being disrespectful in any way.
  20. http://mmatycoon.com/bookmakerpublic.php?bid=8553 We have real MMA events up too. Any HFC or WCF event can be bet on here.
  21. I haven't been around long enough to even know of some of these legacies, but this is a badass idea man, really cool. Be kind of a cool thing to have a compiled list of some of the better known families like that and put to a poll/vote. I actually think a few more people would start naming their better fighters with same names..
  22. Something like this is very doable, booking fights every two weeks (for injuries). A start up funds for this type of org wouldn't take much either. If there were some interest, I'd be willing to contribute funds to the start up of a company like that, and create a fighter for it. Probably would need to be an open weight only division or something unless very popular.
  23. Hey guys, anyone who can accurately predict one of these two fights, I will send 25k to. PLEASE READ ENTIRE MESSAGE BEFORE RESPONSE!! Prediction must include winner, round, and type of victory. (So Smelly wins via KO round 1) There are two bonus items you can add to your prediction. If you guess BOTH of these correctly, you will receive an additional 50k Time of round by minute. 1st minute, 2nd minute, 3rd minute, etc.. Type of KO/Submission/Decision. KO (Punches) or KO (Head Kick) Decision (Split) Decision (Unanimous) Decision (Draw) Submission (Armbar), etc... If you get a perfect prediction, I'll send you 75k. There is no limit to the amount of winners for this award. Only 1 prediction per manager, and you can only send a prediction for ONE of the fights. Managers cannot predict their own fight. So if your fighter is one of the two choices, you must select the other option. Choose ONE of the following fights to predict in your reply. HFC 33 - August 08, 2020 Nickel vs Dos Anjos (185) Main Event or Taurus vs Ulster (170) Co-Main Event In your response, please change the Subject line to either Main Event or Co-Main Event. When I am going through predictions after the results, I will only be looking in responses that reflect the correct answer. So if you pick for Dos Anjos to win, but you put Co-Main Event in the subject line, you will not win due to incorrect subject line. Sorry for the technicality part, but I have to find a way to keep my inbox somewhat organized. CHANGE SUBJECT LINE TO YOUR CHOICE: CO-MAIN EVENT OR MAIN EVENT This competition is only for managers within the HFC organization. Please respond via in game message, predictions on the forums will not be counted towards this competition.
