  1. That's correct, all good. My apologies for misstating that. Still getting used to the new bifocals
  2. Not sure what you're saying here. First sentence says you think small teams have an advantage by fighting less, seemingly implying that what Five Guys did was somehow propped up by a game bias. Second sentence says that while you were part of a small team with Convicted it was "legit". That's confusing to me. You're nominating Stepdads, but in doing so seem to be implying that what Five Guys accomplished is somehow not worthy. Small teams have to win a higher percentage of their fights and have to be winning higher hype fights to compete. Not sure where the bias is. We have to make up for fewer wins by gaining points with Opp Hype. That's not easy. Alliances are make up for all sorts of goals and missions. That's the fun of them and belonging to them. Five Guys had a mission...be competitive at the highest level. Accomplished...and we had a great time doing it. Can't take that away by implying a game bias gave it to us.
  3. For sure. Frewin totally dominated that fight and had me questioning whether or not Sasaki still had it in him to make the comeback try he was on. It was a humiliating loss. Wasn't trying to put down your guy, my apologies if you took it that way. My only point was the uniqueness of the KO...knees being pretty rare. Most everything else we've seen a hundred times. I got a big kick out of the description. The "brutality" line...hadn't ever seen that one before.
  4. Haise Sasaki - From the clinch...Knees!!! "Sasaki jerks Frewin's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Frewin drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Sasaki goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Sasaki because Frewin was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy." https://mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=1101657 Best KO description of the year for sure.
  5. Jack Adlehyde (370328) 10-1 for 2022. 10 T(KO)'s. One loss by decision. Seven belts went in his cabinet, he lost one. By comparison to Outback: 12-2 for 2022. 2 KO's, 10 Decisions. Two losses by decision. Four belts went in his cabinet, he lost 2. As opposed to "not even close", I'd say it's pretty damn close. Love to see great strikers, but my vote goes to the guy that was putting guys on the floor. Adlehyde also won more belts and lost them less. Actually I think Adlehyde wins this vote by KO!
  6. Just Five Guys Fighting. As the name would imply, it's just five guys. Just a year old, it didn't miss a beat on it's march up the pyramid ladder. Made it to Division 1 and just hoping to be competitive and stick. We not only stuck, we were very competitive. Finished in the top three first month in, then won four of the next five months losing the fifth on tie breakers. Won four monthly titles tying the vaunted Yabai for most monthly wins. Quite an accomplishment for Just Five Guys Fighting. Very proud of this Alliance.
  7. Truth be told, Pee Wee has become totally infatuated with one particular lady. Another promising fighter of Team Django, Cheyenne Little Dove. Poor Pee Wee is smitten and trying his best to attract her attention. I mentioned Pee Wee to her see if perhaps she was aware of what a great young man he was. She pondered that for a moment and replied, "Well I don't know him very well, I wonder if Pee Wee also applies to all of his Physicals." I decided to extricate myself from that situation quickly.
  8. Pee Wee is thrilled to have successfully defended his title for the first time. He says that the new fight gear provided by the Bellicose team gave him a real charge of energy. He is also grateful for the kind words and confidence shown him by the fight prognosticators. Pee Wee has great respect for his opponent. He feels that he has the ability to be a very, very good MMA fighter. He would humbly like to offer just a bit of advice and is hopeful the Mad Hatter will not be offended. Pee Wee suggests that the use of hallucinogens may not be the best of pre fight preparations. Please to remember, Speed Kills! The lightning the Hatter thought he was seeing...was real. Pee Wee is also very hopeful that his performance has impressed the new woman of his dreams.
  9. Awesome work Sonny, thank you very much! Pee Wee is thrilled. He says he intends to do you honor by wearing this new fight gear for a very long time. He thinks so highly of it he intends to wear it at his own wedding...when the day may come.
  10. Thanks very much, appreciated.
  11. Would appreciate having this guy if available. Thanks.
  12. Pee Wee would like to express his thanks and good wishes.
  13. Pee Wee has asked me to thank the Bellicose management team for the opportunity to participate in this title match. Pee Wee is a very humble young man, but not quite as confident with the media as he is in the octagon. Pee Wee vows to continue to train hard and be a worthy champion and representative of Bellicose. He wishes to give thanks to his honored mother, whose many sacrifices allowed him to pursue his martial arts training at a very young age. He also wishes to acknowledge the support and commitment to his future that he has received since joining Team Django. He says that he will also apply the same effort to learning the English language that he does to his training. He's very thankful to the support from his growing number fans outside of Japan and would love to be able to speak directly to them. He is both humbled and proud of his victory. He wants to assure the Bellicose matchmakers that he will be ready for any opponent they would like him to defend his title against.
  14. Would appreciate No.1. Thanks very much.
  15. I've had an excellent relationship with Nick for a long time. WFC has been very important to a good number of my fighters. I have a company that's been the merch partner of WFC for a long time. We would chat on at least a semi-regular basis. I've had a few conversations with him regarding the current situation with WFC. First I can tell his other concerned friends that all is well with him and his family. Seems the biggest problems affecting WFC are what we've all seen before with orgs in this game. Time and burnout. With Nick it started with work and other RL demands cutting back on the time he had to manage WFC. We started seeing hints quite while ago. Fewer and fewer updates, rankings, FOTN awards, and such. I suggested six months ago or so that he get some help. He agreed, but never took action on it. I even sent him names of young guys that wanted to learn the org business. For some reason he just couldn't pull the trigger on doing that. Nick has always been a one man band. The burn out has really been escalating since then and we've all witnessed just how bad things have gotten the last few months. What I can't speak to, the mystery, is just why he has chosen to handle this the way he has. I pretty much begged him not to just let WFC die a slow death. I asked him to please do the right thing and either sell, merge, or just release everyone so they can move on. Suggested that he really needed to communicate with everyone. He seems to want to be able to take a break, and come back to it later. Told him there wouldn't be anything to come back to. Guys don't want there fighters to take a break, they'll just leave. Not working at a solution, not exploring options with guys I know have reached out to him, is not going to work. Asked him not to trash a great rep as an org owner by letting WFC just die. There was still time to save the org, there were ways to do it. That's all I can offer on the subject. I haven't heard back since that last message to him. I know for some folks it's very difficult to let go of something you've created and put a lot of time, effort, and love into. Why he's chosen this path is a mystery and not the Nick I thought I knew. The good news is that on a personal level things are ok with him, game wise, it's a disaster. Anyone who's been a friend might also want to also try to reach out to him. Anyone who might have a viable idea how to rescue WFC and allow him to hang on to it might also want to reach out before too much more damage is done. That's all I got guys, hope it helps shed a bit of light on the situation. Django
  16. Great choice indeed Thanks, appreciated!
  17. Great work! Would like No.2, head band guy, if it's still available. Thanks very much.
  18. Would appreciate #3 please. Thanks.
  19. Just found this thread, good stuff. On the subject of 25yo's, I'm definitely against. I think JW originally had an 18yo only rule so everyone would be equal. Not sure what the best way to handle the one that slipped in. Right now she has a pretty large advantage that spoils the competitive intention of the WMMA experiment. I'd say she needs to go, or maybe hold her out of the next 3 or 4 fights so the 18's can catch up a bit. Manager should pull her out voluntarily and have a sex change to keep fighting. Let him create a new girl as a 19yo which is where the first girls are. Even a 20yo would be ok.
  20. Post fight bravado can't hide the facts. Nati was pissing his water. Ducked the fight...afraid.
  21. Nati sure does talk a lot for a guy that ran from the fight when it was first offered. Good thing his mama held his hand and convinced him not to be afraid of a kid half his age.
  22. Speaking of the ladies: It sure would be nice if the girls had some proper fighting attire. Lacking the skills myself, I'd gladly support anyone who could come up with the style of fight wear shown in some of these avatars. Would be nice to have WMMA design all the ladies could wear. I'll put the the clothes in my shop for cheap. Anyone interested in taking this on just let me know. Thanks.
