  1. Weekly check in from Mr. Harley Blaze. Hello my faithful fans… I think I am going to start calling my HARDCORE faithful fans the “Blazers”. I mean we blaze (I sure do) and my last name Blaze, so it makes sense right?Anyways my faithful HARDCORE Blazers (see how cool that sounds), what a f**king fight week. Oh man, did you see my boy Ken Jiro, no disrespect to Jack Sparrow, he’s going to do great in BFC but Ken, my god, be nice...14 seconds… in your HFC debut...let us enjoy you a bit buddy. Ahh well the after party was insane much love to president J.W. Hardman for that one. Besides that fight, a lot of my boys stepped up this weekend. Shout out to all the HFC gents who entered the ring, it takes true courage to be a warrior. HFC had back to back events in beautiful NYC this weekend. I recently broke up with my girlfriend of two weeks so these events really helped me take my mind off things. Khabib Nurmagomedov, my guy, I cannot understand you when you speak, but I understand you when you are on top of people mawling them. Nice win this weekend, and nice job on the dance floor afterwards, your Tanok (Russian Folk Dance) was great. Man, moving forward the HFC has a lot going on. Expect some big announcements about upcoming events. Belts will be on the line soon. I know Jewel Diaz has been very vocal about getting a shot at the 145lb title, he has been saying all sorts of nasty and silly things about current champ DeShawn West. Who knows if and when that fight may take place. Moving forward expect a jam packed June with up to two events per week. Madness integration is almost complete. Most 355+ fighters have landed safely in the BFC. Shout out Jack Sparrow, he didn't last long against HFC Heavy Weight Champ Ken Jiro, but I expect Jack to compete quickly in BFC. Next week we have two awesome events, HFC Bloodbath 2, and HFC 22 - Jack vs Carter, I will be at both of them hopefully with a new girlfriend...man I’m lonely…. Much Love Blazers...Harley OUT
  2. Helllo fight fans. It's Wednesday my Dude. Which means we have our weekly fighter spotlight!!! Lets show some love of our own Heavyweight Champ Iain "The CN" Tower. Iain "The CN" Tower, a giant Ninja. Sounds like polar opposites but such is the theme of yin and yang. Iain’s fighting style represents these opposites as he is lethal on his feet and on the ground. He has racked up over thirty wins in his career. His last 3 at Synchronicity where he is now the reigning Heavyweight Champion. I went over to Punch Out Gym in London and sat down with Iain to get to know him a bit better. BH: Iain, appreciate the time mate (Sparring in the background someone literally just got knocked out cold behind us, Iain doesn't even turn to look). IT: Benjamin, it's a pleasure man, glad to sit down with you, I read your write up on The Albino Warrior, that was some crazy sh*t my dude. BH: Glad you caught that, shout out Kassim "The Albino Warrior" Magufuli I V, he is a cool cat; would you ever consider a super fight at a catchweight with him? IT: Phewwww, coming in with the tough questions right off the bat huh Benjamin. The Albino Warrior is a bad man, and I am a bad man (pauses to yell across the gym to a kid sparring, “Keep your damn chin down!!”), and at the end of the day I’ll fight anyone, it really doesn't matter. Same as the ninja code I was raised by, just give me a name and I will end them. Now, does that fight with Kassim make sense? ...Not really, is it fun to talk about...sure why not?.... Let’s put it this way, if him and I are ever in the same cage with a ref and the doors close we will fight, otherwise I got mad love for The Albino Warrior, that dude killed 37 people (allegedly). BH: Fair enough my man, there's plenty of HeavyWeights for you to focus on. You just had a huge title defense on 5/23 at Syn 688 Tower vs Kerr. You were the headline and you finished the fight with an epic 1st round TKO. Tell me about how you felt that night and the party after. IT: Honestly I don't celebrate too crazy after fights. I work hard every day, so on fight night there are no surprises, good or bad. When I win, I’m not surprised, so I don't have a huge feeling of joy. It's more a thought of “yeah, good job, we did what we came to do, as expected”. When I lose it is pretty devastating because I know I beat myself. I let the fight get away. When I am on my game no one can beat me. BH:That's deep man, that's deep.… You’ve had three different managers, you held a championship belt with all three, any reason for the switches? IT: You know Benjamin, I get that a lot, but the truth is, it was all very natural. At the time, change was needed, this is often the case in life. People fear change, what they don't realize, is that change is constant, they should fear the fact that they are not taking control of their own time. I don't think too much about the past. The future is very bright. I can't wait to defend my belt. Just give me a name. BH: What was Ninja school like… can I sign up? IT: It was actually pretty boring and not as cool as it was hyped up to be… BH:For real...that's sh*tty IT: Nah I’m messing with you, it was amazing. Training every day, all day for 16 years straight. They focused on the physical and mental part of fighting and killing. One needs to know how to win and how to lose. One needs to learn how to kill and how to die. I learned all these things in Ninja training. BH: F*ck thats crazy. You’ve clearly had a powerful life that cannot be compared to anyone else's. Before we wrap up here Iain, is there anything you would like to say to any of your fans out there going through a hard time? IT: Glad you asked Benjamin, I always have a few (pauses mid sentence to scream at a worker mopping the mat “That sh*t is not clean, I'll mop it with your ass if you don't do it right Dan, you're better than that bro.”) words for the fans. Look when times get hard, it is okay to feel like sh*t for a bit. You do not have to fight your feelings. Fight lots of things but not your feelings. With that said, much love, and give me a name. One name of a person who thinks they can take my belt and I will show you what I can do...Just one name. BH: Well we appreciate that touching advice...Mate, I am not a match maker but if I was I would give you a name, I promise. I am sure you will get a name soon, we are all excited about the idea of you fighting again. We would like to thank all our fighters and fans for their continuous support.. Oh yeah and as usual...FIGHT ON!
  3. JAG Respect My Grind 5/30 Respect. What does it even mean? “You better respect me”, they always say..... “or what?......”, was always my favourite response. Tonight though, we talk about respecting something that is indisputable. The Grind. Every fighter respects the Grind. You may not respect your opponent, or your sparring partners, or anyone... hell if I was the baddest man on the planet I probably wouldn't respect nobody either. But every fighter respects The Grind. You know why? Because if you don't, no one will even know who you are. For your name to even be considered to be mentioned in an event preview means you respect The Grind. Otherwise, no one would even know your name. So for this week, let's do our best to respect absolutely no one...except The GRIND! Sergey Objedkov (11-5) Vs. Anthon Van Der Dusse (9-8) - 135lb Welterweight Championship Bout Couple of top 135’ers here at the top of this card. Both sniffing the top 5, and when you look at how talented these guys are you know why. Anthon is 26 and Sergey is 27, both fighters have long careers ahead of them. If either one of them can continue their winning ways, a title shot will be inevitable. This will be a big step on that journey. There is a lot to gain and a lot to lose in this one folks. Stylistically Sergey seems to have an advantage in most areas. Sergey is a back belt and known for finishing his fights via submission. Sergey is quite good on his feet, he is a very well rounded fighter. His opponent, Anthon is also very well rounded. Anthon has wins on his record by tko and submission. However, Anton is a brown belt compared to Sergeys black, and Anton is not known for his technical or precise striking. Hey it's a fight though, anything can happen when two top warriors step into the cage. Prediction: Sergey does the deed and submits Anthon in the third. Sergey says he wants to face a top 5 opponent and tells the whole division, “Pappa’s home”,... the crowd goes crazyyyy. Nelson Quinteros (16-6) Vs. Ernesto Llosa (12-7) - 170lb Welterweight Bout Good news here, someone will break their losing streak. Bad news, someone will add to their losing streak. Both fighters come into this one riding a two fight losing streak. More a tribute to JAG’s top level competition than either of these fighters regressing. Both are top level and will be ready for a great fight. Plain and simple, Ernesto wants this fight on the ground, while Nelson wants to stand and exchange. Ernesto's wrestling is next level, Nelson will have to be on constant lookout for a takedown. I actually saw these guys at the same restaurant two weeks back. They kept sending each other bottles of champagne. Then winking and blowing kisses at one another. Finally, as Nelson walked out he sneezed as he passed Ernesto's table. An all out scrap broke out between entourages, it was quite the scene. I was barley through my shrimp scampi when it all took place, but I got a pretty good view of things. Nelson landed a couple shots but Ernesto was working a single leg, at that exact moment the entire kitchen staff came bursting out of the kitchen yielding knives. That escalated the fight for another 15 minutes or so. Eventually everything subsided when the fire department arrived and turned on the hoses. It was at that point when I felt my shrimp scampi was ruined. Prediction: Ersesto’s relentless takedowns finally wear Nelson down in the third; an exhausted Nelson succumbs to a kimura. In the post fight interview Ernesto repeatedly says “Bless You” throughout his responses in an attempt to mock Nelson’s sneeze at the restaurant. Aku Serronen (13-8) Vs. "The King" Elvis Presley (13-6-1) - 170lb Middleweight Bout We got to show some respect to the king right? Of course we do. Elvis Presley himself will get to welcome Aku Serronen to JAG, as Aku will be making his JAG debut. What an honor to see “The King” on your debut. If things go well maybe one day you will see “The Champ”, for in our world the champ out rules the king. Two well rounded guys, anything can happen in this one. Elvis is riding a 3 fight win streak. Aku is coming off a 2 fight losing streak in an outside organization, safe to say he is very eager for a fresh start. Prediction: Aku listens to Elvis sing as he sinks in an armbar in the third that leaves Elvis singing to the ref to stop the fight. Detkhunjon Sitsongrit (11-6) Vs. Astro Traveller (6-5) - 135lb Light Heavyweight Bout Two guys hoping to get back to their winning ways. Both had nice win streaks brewing before losing their most recent fights. Good news, one of them will be able to turn that momentum around quickly. When looking at the other side of that coin, the loser will be officially on a losing streak… Both guys are top level and very well rounded, though I expect this one to stay standing. Prediction: Detkhunjon giggles as Joe Rogan keeps mispronouncing his name in the post fight interview; Detkhunjon by way of 2nd round KO. Undercard “The trees of today were the seeds of yesterday” -Some profound person. In all truth, look below, you will see future top contenders. It's here where JAG contenders start to work their way to the top of the rankings. These people down below, are respecting the GRIND. 205 lbs 3 Aydan The Wandering Spirit v Eerikki Salmi 185 lbs 3 Billy Cubbedge v Roland Weudke 185 lbs 3 Marc Read v Jacks Sole 135 lbs 3 Snake Rex v John Silver 185 lbs 3 Thorvald Espensen v Jaakko Ilmarinen JAG would like to thank all the fighters and the fans for their continuous support. We are proud to bring you this great night of fights. As usual...FIGHT ON!
  4. HFC Check in From Mr. Blaze Well hello Hardcore fans, it is the one and only Mr. Harley Blaze. Oh man what a great week it has been. First I went to one of my favourite gyms, Hardcore Boxing and MT. I got to hang out and spar a bit with some of the boys. Those guys do not play around. Of course, on Saturday I rode my Triumph over to New York to catch Barbosa Vs. Jewel. Dude Jewel Diaz is a beast, and holy f*ck so is Deshawn West. When they fight next month it will be epic. The whole event was great, I got to kick back with President J.W. Hardman. He told me the merger is going quite well, and by July we could be fully integrated. Expect some huge fights in June. After the event I flew over to Los Angeles to try and convince Joe Rogan to let me on his podcast. He refused, I then challenged him to a sparring match, he accepted. Good little scrap we had but no cameras allowed. I'd say I won most rounds 10-9 but who knows. Looking forward, we have monster fights. Ken Jiro is making his HFC debut. You will probably recognize him from near the top of the p4p rankings. Ken is a personal buddy, we met at a bbq in Texas, where I had one too many beers and he had to throw me in a lake. Him and I have been best buds ever since. We will have a full preview for HFC KO 4 - Jiro vs Sparrow coming soon. Harley is on the move, do you have a gym that should be showcased? Or a fighter who needs to be interviewed, Harley is a social man who loves to travel. My next story could be about your fighter, gym or girlfriend….okay maybe not the last one, but I would still like to meet her. Harley OUT!
  5. HFC 20 - Barbosa vs Diaz Hello my HARDCORE faithful. It is safe to say a new age is upon us. Tonight marks the first title unification bout between HFC and Madness. The 145lb Madness belt will be retired for eternity. New York, New York, I hope you are ready for history because on 5/23 it will be made! President J.W. Hardman is glad everyone is excited, however he hasn't had a chance to enjoy much of it.- “It’s been full on, new contracts, events, even transitioning the BFC to be our development league, this last month has been busy! It is all very good things though as we are building a very solid foundation. To be honest we are building a dynasty”. Seems to be the case as HFC is now snuggly sitting in the top 10 organizations and BFC (HFC’s development organization) is sitting inside the top 20. This card will only help that fact as it is absolutely stacked. Let's jump right into this thing, it is going to be epic. Daniel Barbosa (8-3) Vs. Jewel "Diamond in the Rough" Diaz (7-1-1) - 145lb Featherweight Bout Considering the belt will be won moments before this fight, it is safe to say this one has some huge implications. In fact I will say it, whoever wins the fight below, should not get too comfortable, because they will be facing the winner of this fight very soon after. The 145lb division is on fire and people are pumped about it. This is pretty clean cut style wise. Jewel wants to ground and pound, Barbosa is a powerful striker on the feet. Both fighters will do their best to avoid the other's expertise. Should be a legendary fight that could go either way. Prediction: Both fighters end bloodied and beaten, 3 rounds of punishment is given out both ways. Judges give Jewel a small split decision victory. ©"The Maniac" Wreak Havoc Vs. ©DeShawn West (9-0) - 145lb Featherweight Title Unification Bout Oh man, it's rare I get this pumped for a fight. Champ vs Champ. DeShawn has looked devastatingly unstoppable, racking up 9 wins and 0 losses. His Muay Thai is phenomenal. The "The Maniac" Wreak Havoc is coming off a tough loss when he fought in a different cross organization battle against a different 145lb champ. Technically this is The Maniac’s 4th straight fight against someone holding a belt. Tough stretch no question. This will be a great fight. I give a slight edge to DeShawn but The Maniac is so crafty I can see anything happening here. Prediction: Deshawn cruises through four rounds displaying his amazing Muay Thai. Then in the fifth round, a light switches and DeShawn decides to end it, he lands a brutal flying knee that instantly KO’s The Maniac Wreak Havoc. DeShawn West is the new HFC 145lb champion. He has a stern warning for the rest of the division to “retire”. "Rancid" Reno Rocca (9-4) Vs. "The Phoenix" Chanthaphone Southanouvong (7-2) - 185lb Middleweight Bout Very exciting fight here. HFC mainstay Reno Rocca will show The Phoenix how HFC does things. This will be Phoenix’s first fight under the HFC banner. Both these guys will be top contenders once the dust settles from the merger. A treat for us to see them square off now. Phoenix will look to box but also likes to wrestle. Rocca is very good at submissions, he may be able to catch Phoenix on one if Phoenix is not careful. Prediction: The Phoneix rises from the ashes and puts on a great performance, he finishes Rocca with some nasty GNP in the 2nd round. Boris Krylov (6-2) Vs. "The Anaconda" Henri Kirchen (5-1) - 265lb Heavyweight Bout Two incredibly talented Heavyweights duking it out. This will also have big implications in the rankings moving forward. Boris has lethal hands. He’s literally killed like 5 people with his punches. The Anaconda is lethal on the ground. He’s literally killed like 5 dudes with his submissions. Someone may die in this fight but it will be epic to watch. Prediction: Boris clips the Anaconda with a massive right hand. Boris then makes the fatal mistake of following the Anaconda to the mat, 45 seconds later and Boris is tapping out due to a nasty arm lock. Undercard These undercards are getting more stacked and more stacked and President J.W. keeps handing more and more money out to these guys for performance bonuses. There are some great matchups down there. We will be looking closely for some standout performances. 155 lbs Leon Hooker v Balink Tarlah 135 lbs Jack Waller v Lorenzo Bataglia 265 lbs Dennis Rader v Boris Balkan 185 lbs Colby Ortiz v Jermaine Fizzelstiks 145 lbs John Rambo v Daisuke Hazuki 170 lbs Malcolm King v Howard Zynne The HFC wants to give a huge shout out to all the fans and fighters. We put cards like this on for you! As usual HARDCORE fight fans...FIGHT ON!
  6. Another week in the books for our Synchronicity faithful. This announcement is in regards to our weekly fighter write up. Please show some love for Latka Gravas- Latka Gravas, A Warrior of Good; I've always found it interesting what will lead a man to live a life that constantly puts him in a cage fighting another human with his bare hands. The thought of that to almost every human is absolutely terrifying. But a faithful few make the walk, time after time...why? Some love fame, others love the money, some are just truly violent people. Oftentimes it is the family business, fighting is their family tradition. For Latka it was none of the above. No, he didn't fight because his uncle was a legend, or because he got picked on in math class. Latka fought for liberty, he fought for freedom and he fought for his country. Growing up in wartorn Kosovo, Latka learned early that everyone had to fight. If you were good at fighting you would live, and if you were not, then you would die. Either way you had to fight. Luckily for Latka and the now sovereign nation of Kosovo, Latka had gifts unmatched by any other human. Stories of him devastating war-fields are written throughout the texts of Kosovo’s history. Yes he is lethal with his hands, but some say he is even more lethal with weapons. His confirmed kill count is in the thousands, many speculate it could easily be 20,000 plus. He left that life behind after Kosovo gained diplomatic recognition from the United Nations. He said he wanted to retire to the “simple life of martial arts' '. See, where Latka is from hand to hand combat is equivalent to us playing touch football. It is considered a fun but safe pastime. Now, he has been competing at the highest levels of MMA for years. Many fans and journalists call his hands bombs, these comments always make Latka chuckle, as his hands have literally detonated bombs before. His composure in firefights has translated to him having years of success in Synchronicity. President Alex Maniatakos commented, “First off you love to have a guy like that on your roster. As a fight organization president I’m very comfortable knowing I have a small army of brutes who have my back. When a guy like Latka is one of those brutes, I feel like I could take on a country if needed. We love him here at Synchronicity, his legacy speaks for itself. I will be cageside this weekend to see him defend his belt!”. Latka Gravas is the current 170lb champion for Synchronicity and will be defending his belt this upcoming weekend against Polliisi Partio. During his career, Latka has fought at middleweight, welterweight and recently won an epic fight at lightweight vs. Kagekatsu Uesugi when he fished him in the third round via a devastating TKO. Truly a master of combat, Latka considers cage fighting an amazing pastime and a great way to provide for his family. He is grateful his days of fighting (war) are over. He says he is very happy that he can enjoy himself and loves the "casual" lifestyle a cage fighter lives. Like i said, it truly is interesting what type of life paths lead people to walking into a cage and attempting to bash someone for a living. For Latka, it was the fact he has been fighting his whole life and wanted to find a nice peaceful job. Your war is over Latka, enjoy the nice calm relaxing life of a professional cagefighter… From everyone at Synchronicity thank you for reading and as usual...FIGHT ON!
  7. Hello HARDCORE fans. We have an exciting announcement (no we are not acquiring another organization). We are proud to welcome “Hardcore” Harley Blaze to the Hardcore Fighting Championship team. Harley will serve as a front line reporter for all things HFC. He will be at the fights, he will travel to top gyms and also he will be running a high level scientific experiment on which cities have the prettiest women. He usually gets around on his Triumph (funny I know) Tiger 800 but also has been seen on some classic Harley Davidsons. He claims to love both bikes, and will not limit himself to only Harley Davidsons just because he is named Harley. “Hardcore” Harley Blaze grew up in a MMA gym. His father Charles Blaze is a legend of the sport. Charles never fought in the pros, but he’s owned and operated Blaze MMA for over 40 years. Rumours of Charles being a dominant underground fighter in his teens in early twenties are often murmured but Charles always disputes those claims. Harley grew up learning MMA during the day and cleaning the wrestling mats at night. While Harley never quite made it to the pro ranks, he has a tremendous depth of knowledge for the sport. Harley is carefree, and a lone wolf. This attitude has brought him to all corners of the world. HFC President, J.W. Hardman met Harley at a rib cook off in Houston, Texas. What started as two men talking about their favorite rib glaze, turned into a vibrant conversation that would go on for hours. Both men love motorbikes, both men love ribs, and both men love the fight game. J.W. said Harley went into an insane amount of depth while breaking down some of HFC’s recent events. Harley also offered J.W. advice on how to maximize training at HFC headquarters in New York. After a few hours of conversation and 5lbs of ribs, J.W. and Harley came to an agreement. Harely will join the HFC team. He will travel to events, gyms and anywhere the fight game calls him. All along the way he will be providing us with a weekly update from his adventures. Without further ado, here is “Hardcore” Harley Blaze” How the f*ck are we fight fans? Can I cuss on this thing J.W.? Ahh who cares. Anyways, I am pumped to be starting with HFC. Most organizations are really strict on drug testing. HFC was pretty cool...I mean they tested me, but said they don't care about THC so we are all good. Truly great timing, I just broke up with my longtime girlfriend of six weeks, so I am ready to hit the road. I will be in beautiful New York for HFC 20 Barbosa Vs Diaz. That card is stacked, the main event will be a bloodfest and I am also really pumped to see my boy Havoc defend his 145lb belt. Also the after party at the Hard Rock Cafe will be epic, and the after after party at my place will be cool too for the 4 ladies I invite there...anyways I digress. I want you all to know Harley (third person bare with me) is a man of the people. You got a fighter you want me to meet? I’ll swing by and chat for a bit with him. I love talking about fighting. If you got an idea for a special interest story, let me know, I may check it out. In the meantime, after speaking with J.W. I know the whole HFC is pumped about the huge changes that are taking place. The merger with MADNESS is well underway. We have a strong partnership with Bloodbath Fighting Championship,a thriving 355+ that will ensure young talent is constantly being fed into the HFC. As a professional reporter, it is quite exciting, as a fight fan it is f*cking awesome...sorry J.W. Blaze...OUT!
  8. The day after : BFC 6: Bitch vs. Stucka What an amazing night it's been. 9 first round stoppages out of 10 fights. It was true MASSACRE. But we will start slowly. First of all, this event was the first one under the new ownership of BFC Benjamin Halle, who stated; “One day at a time, we are going to turn Bloodbath Fighting Championship into the premier 355+ home for fighters. We will be learning along the way, but I promise the whole BFC team is committed to excellence. From here, every event will be bigger, better and bloodier". Great words from the president, we are excited for what the future holds for both the BFC and the HFC. For now let's focus on this night of fights BFC officials had their hands full when it came to deciding the performance bonuses for the evening. Shout out to all the fighters, they came with one purpose, violence. It showed, as each fight was epic. The 1st fight which I want to mention is the fight which opened this event, Willing Ness Vs. Robinson Anderson . Coming in, we knew this would be a well matched fight. It quickly turned into a grappling event where young Willing Ness showed his BJJ Brown belt skills and almost dislocated (doctors said x-rays were negative) the shoulder of Anderson. To be honest I have not seen such a tight Arm Triangle in years. Shout out to both those young fighters, we are excited to see them grow in the BFC. The 2nd fight I would like to shout out is the match between Luke Hobbs and Thomas Bayner. That my friends, was an absolute WAR!!! Easily the bloodiest fight of the night, I really want to commend Thomas for the HUGE heart he showed, he survived more than 20 elbows to the head in less than 5 minutes!!! Even more credit must go to the winner of this fight, Luke Hobbs, who totally changed the face of his opponent. Luke commented after the fight, ”This is just the beginning, call me the Doctor, i'm giving out free facial reconstruction surgeries”...Terrifying words form a terrifying man, we will keep an eye (no pun intended) on his future. It's time to mention the winner of the award FIGHT OF THE NIGHT Award. Drum Roll Please…… Jorge Dos Santos Vs. Luke Vader!!!! What a fight!!! HFC veteran Luke Vader stepped into the cage as a big favourite, as he was coming off 2 wins out of three in the HFC. But everyone knows that when you fight a strong BJJ guy you should never let him take you down. And that was the mistake which Luke made. He dominated Jorge in standup, but that small mistake was enough and Jorge showed us his BJJ background and quickly secured a nasty and painful Kimura. Now it is time to discuss the MAIN and CO-MAIN Events where we saw two titles get handed out. CO-MAIN EVENT : Darken Rahl Vs. John Henry 145lbs title fight was scheduled as the CO-MAIN of this stacked card of BFC 6 Bitch vs. Stucka There was a ton of hype coming into this fight, but throughout the buildup both fighters showed a tremendous amount of respect for their opponent. The young undefeated Rahl against the HFC veteran Henry. Both are top talents of division so it was just a question who will have stronger shot and bigger heart for climbing to the top of BFC FEATHERWEIGHT division. This fight ended after 83 seconds. Rahl showed us his wonderful wrestling and by way of brutal ground and pound totally destroyed Henry’s dreams of becoming the first BFC FEATHERWEIGHT champ. Darken Rahl has officially put the BFC on notice. Who will challenge our new champ?? Who dares to call him out and make him defend his title? And now…….IIIIIiiiiiitttttttsssss TTTIIIIMMmmmeeeeeeeeee (Bruce Buffer Voice) for the MAIN EVENT of the evening. Santas Bitch vs. Robert Stucka for the undisputed HEAVYWEIGHT champion of the BFC. Before this event, both fighters were 4-0 and both had dreams of being champs. This dream ended for Stucka 27 seconds into the fight when a monstrous overhand of Bitch landed across Stucka’s face. Bitch showed us all, his hype has plenty of fire with all that smoke. Bitch not only won the Heavyweight belt but was also awarded KO of the night for his amazing performance. He was quite excited during his post fight interview- “Who wants, you want it? Come get it? I'm the biggest baddest man on this roster...prove me wrong. Any 355+ HFC fighter that wants it can get it too... Bitch out…” *Proceeds to drop mic and walk out of cage Hope you liked this event as much as we liked it and we can promise you that next weekend will be an even bigger Bloodbath. We will have two stacked cards for you!!! BFC 7 Hammer vs. Mendoza - 5/23 BFC HARDCORE 1 with MAIN EVENT Dudayev vs. Hart. - 5/24 Until then. Enjoy the game, stay healthy and as usual...FIGHT ON!. Written by : Chris Swimmer ( VP. of Operations of BFC) Edited by : Benjamin Halle (Owner and President of BFC)
  9. Folks we have decided to migrate. This banner is misleading. We are not a 360+ league, we are a 355+! http://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=65266 Above is the link to our new forum home. BH
  10. The matchmakers are hearing Chael's call! We are working frantically to find you an opponent for the weekend of 6/12. We are confident we will get you on one of our two cards that weekend. To give a little transparency on the 135lb division. On 6/12 and 6/13 Liszorr Vs. Stenburg and Vergys Vs. Weeks, square off. The winners of those bout's will fight for the 135lb title. The winner of Chael and "unnamed" will be in top consideration for the first 135lb title defense. We are under new ownership!!! BFC is 355+. The forum name will be updated soon. If you have any special requests or concerns please reach out to me personally. Chris Swimmer is my trusted associate, he will aid with contract negations, weekly write-ups and general counsel. - Benjamin Halle
  11. HFC 19 - Qanar vs Vanorden Hello my Hardcore faithful. We are back in full force in beautiful Montreal at the amazing Expo Arena. As usual, we are expecting a sell out crowd. Among our HFC faithful at the event we are expecting Canadian Celebrities such as Pamlea Anderson, Ryan Reynolds, Jim Carrey and the Nelk Boys. The HFC is experiencing hyper growth at the moment. Folks we just cracked the top 10, I repeat we just cracked the top 10. We predicted this would happen by the end of the summer. Technically our projections were right as the southern hemispheres summer is just ending. But yes, even the internal HFC team was a bit surprised in our epic rise. Have trust, we are prepared. Many MADNESS fighters are already making their way to the HFC roster, some even debuting on this card. President J.W. has been great about sending out league updates. See the forums and emails for official company updates regarding the merger. We will continue to put on great events week after week during this transition. Once things are settled expect some HUGE cards. Lets jump right into this card's top fights. Dro Qanar (7-2) Vs. #8 Bruce "Lights out" Vanorden (6-2) - 205lb Light Heavyweight Bout Rankings aside this is a huge fight. J.W. announced rankings will be updated as more fighters make their transition from MADNESS to HFC. In the meantime fights like this have huge implications. When those rankings do roll out, recent fights will have major impacts. Two studs with top ten potential. Dro Qanar is just 21 years old, already has 9 fights and all of them took place in the well respected MADNESS. This kid can fight, he’s got a real bright future in the HFC. His opponent, Bruce "Lights out" Vanorden will look to live up to his name. He is coming off of back to back losses but has a new manager and a whole new take on things. “I feel great, new manager, new gym, new me. Perfect timing for me as the HFC is taking off; honestly I like Dro, but he’s in my way,... sorry bud”. Tough words Bruce who is also just 21 years old and has an impressive 8 fights completed. This could be a tough matchup for Dro, as Bruce should have the advantage in the stand up game. Dro will have to get this fight to the ground to have a real chance. Prediction: Bruce "Lights out" Vanorden flips the switch on Dro and finishes him with a brutal KO in the 2nd round. An emotional Bruce credits his new manager for his success and says he wants a top 5 contender next. #6 Feaqeuin "Bizi" Bizihwaeile (9-4) Vs. #7 Vernon "H.G." Wells (6-2) - 185lb Middleweight Bout Another great fight featuring two fighters both only 21 years of age. Vernon Wells hails from New Zealand, it is there, where he initially learned his ferocious Muay Thai. Vernon will look to put that Muay Thai on display against Feaqeuin "Bizi" Bizihwaeile. Feaqeuin or “Bizi” as his friends and fans call him is quite capable of standing and exchanging. More know for his boxing rather than Muay Thai, he will look to weather Vernons’s strikes and land some himself. Bizi is quite skilled in wrestling as well so he may look for a takedown at some point. A great fight with huge implications moving forward. Though both fighters show great potential, the winner of this one will be sniffing the top 5 very soon. Prediction: Bizi endures 2 rounds of nasty standup exchanges before landing a big takedown in the 3rd round. Bizi beats up Vernon pretty bad for the whole 3rd round but cannot finish him. The judges rule the fight a Split decision victory in favour of Vernon "H.G." Wells. Bizi calls for a rematch on twitter, Vernon responds “Meet me at my house”. #5 Shay "Irish" O Donnelly (12-5) Vs. #4 Marco "Conmigo" Silva (7-3) - 155lb Lightweight Bout Couple of wiley vets duking it out. Both of these guys have been around the block, each having double digit fights in reputable fighting organizations (SMASH and HFC). Both fighters are riding losing streaks, this will happen when you are consistently facing top level fighters in the top of the rankings. Now, one will break their losing streak and one will add to it. All things considered this is a huge fight. Shay wants to stand and box, Marco will likely agree and showcase his Muay Thai. I have that feeling one of these fighters is going night night. Each corner should bring a blanky for safety. Prediction: We see an epic 1st round where both fighters get cut. The fast paced action carries into the 2nd round where Marco Silva clips Shay with a nasty left hook. Shay goes to sleep, the blanky gets put to good use. #4 Teshima "Nightingale" Shigochiyo (5-2) Vs. #3 "Bombshell" Sonny Gilchrist (7-2) - 145lb Featherweight Bout Stylistically this is one of the most exciting fights of the night. Both fighters bring in brown belts along with developing stand up games. Fights like these will be clear stepping stones in the featherweight division. Expect lots of grappling, maybe the occasional jab between takedown and clinch attempts. I am expecting somewhere north of 65 total subs attempts... Prediction: A back and forth glorified bjj match, these two guys leave everything in the octagon. 3 rounds of elite level grappling. Thousands of submission attempts later and one finally lands, in the final seconds, Teshima "Nightingale" Shigochiyo diffuses "Bombshell" Sonny Gilchrist with a life altering neck crank. Sony is rushed to hospital, after hours of uncertainty, doctors announce he is expected to make a full recovery. Undercard What an undercard. Absolutely stacked. As usual we will keep an eye on all the fights below; these fighters are eligible for performance bonuses! I always like to watch our super heavyweights battle; we will have 600 pounds of killing machines going at it when Matthaus Gold faces Li Qiang. The HFC has confirmed they are using their specially designed reinforced cage for this night of fights due to those fighters massiveness. 170 lbs Herlock Von Ryan v Dixon Ulster 265+ lbs Matthaus Gold v Li Qiang 170 lbs Ryo Hamada v Rovi Flexner 155 lbs Brandin Duncan v Albert Lawrence 185 lbs Dre Battle v Samson Komua 145 lbs Kevin Walters v Charlie Patch Folks, now is an amazing time to be part of the HFC. We are experiencing some rapid positive change. Look for stacked cards like these to be coming week after week! As usual...FIGHT ON!
  12. Hello fight fans... Your weekly fighter spotlight has turned to a big ol party beast! Read below to learn morre about the famous- Rocket Bob Frankels "The Pagan Party Beast" According to the dictionary, the definition of a pagan is as follows, “a person holding religious beliefs other than those of the main world religions”. According to the same dictionary, the definition of a party beast, is “someone who parties so hard they begin to take the form of a beast”. Can you imagine? A person partying so hard that they literally transform into a beast. Also keep in mind this party beast is a master of martial arts, and does not adhere to any mainstream religion.... That is Rocket Bob Frankels "The Pagan Party Beast" in a nutshell. He is the most simple yet complex being that ever existed. Rumours are he doesn't sleep, he will only listen to psy trance for hours on end when he wants to rest. Stories of him showing up to sparring tripping on some form of herbal hallucinogen were first claimed as folklore but soon accepted as a regular occurence. He has gone on record saying he has been under the influence of at least some form of herb for every single one of his fights. He would not mention if any of those herbs were ever mind altering but he did wink at me when I asked that. As a fighter this man is a pure legend. President Alex Maniatakos has already saved him a seat in the Synchronicity Hall Of Fame. President Maniatakos had this to say, “Oh he’s a pure legend, I mean look what he has done for this organization, and look what he has done for the sport. We will be honored to get him into the Synchronicity Hall Of Fame when the time comes". Just look at Bob’s record and you can see why President Maniatakos has such high praises for Bob. He is an amazing 44-15-1, 38 of his 44 wins coming by T(KO). He held the Synchronicity 265+ Super HeavyWeight Belt multiple times throughout his career. Many recall his famous brawls with the beloved Kimbo Slice. Currently Bob still throws hands with the best of them. He is not in immediate title contention, but considering this man has 60 pro fights, the fact he is still a top competitor is truly amazing. When asked about his future Rocket Bob said this, “Man I love this journey. I prayed to a tree last night and it told me to keep fighting, then I went to a frat party. It felt so natural to party with those college bros...I think i can keep fighting a long time”. Who knows, maybe Rocket Bob being young at heart will help him keep fighting into his old age. Also the fact that trees talk to you is probably a sign of some powerful sh*t, so Bobs got that going for him too. Whatever the future holds for Rocket Bob Frankels "The Pagan Party Beast", he will always be known as a Synchronicity legend. His fists like bombs flying through the air, have ended countless fighters' hopes and dreams. He says he doesn't feel guilty about any of his wins and never feels sad about any of his losses. “I try my best, what will be will be, it sounds cliche but if he dies he dies. Do everything you can, do your best, and everything else is out of your control”. Wise words from a man with two 40ozs taped to his hands. Sometimes messages come in unique packages. Regardless Rocket Bob Frankels "The Pagan Party Beast" is an absolute legend. He has some of the most dangerous striking of all time. Every fight of his is a treat. We are all waiting in anticipation for his next fight to be announced! As Usual Fight Fans thank you for reading and...Fight ON!
  13. JAG Plus 5/16 It is that time folks. Week after week our JAG warriors step into the octagon to defend their honor and JAG’s legacy. This week will be more of the same…. Violence, honor and legacy. London will be electric, we are anticipating a sold out crowd at the famed H2O Arena. President Nate Baker commented, “We love London! One of the world's best cities, showcasing the world's best fighters. We stacked this card from top to bottom. The championship fight obviously has some bad blood, I think that has spilled over to the rest of the card. Almost all of these fighters seem to genuinely dislike their opponent. We have extra security backstage as we are expecting fights in the locker rooms throughout the evening”. Exciting words form our president. He is of course referring to the bad blood between Welterweight Champ Jim Jones Jr. and #1 Contender Lee Roy. Safe to say they come from different backgrounds; they have been exchanging insults via interviews and social media for months now. This card is filled with huge fights that will have great impacts on fighters rankings and careers. Add to that the bad blood and heated press conferences, and we have all the makings for an explosive event. From an organizational standpoint, we are excited but also frantically working to make sure everything goes off smoothly, and no fighters get jumped backstage. If you are a fan, all you need to do is sit back, and grab the popcorn, also don't blink, cause ANYTHING can happen on this night. © "Son of a preacher man" Jim Jones Jr (12-7) Vs. #1 "General" Lee Roy (10-4-1) - 170lb Welterweight Championship Bout Bad blood aside, we have two studs both riding win streaks. The Champ, "Son of a preacher man" Jim Jones Jr, is just on fire. Winner of 4 in a row, he is coming off his first title defense where he won via unanimous decision in a masterful display of skill. His opponent "General" Lee Roy will be his greatest challenge to date. He is riding a 2 fight win streak and has proved himself worthy of a title shot. Both fighters are very well rounded. A slight advantage for Lee standing, and a slight advantage for Jim grappling. Now, let's talk about the bad blood. These guys don't like each other. IF this fight is a finish, the ref will have a hard time pulling the winner off. Both guys have gone on record saying they will try to land extra shots. This is exciting, I am expecting this to be neck and neck, with a great chance of a rematch down the road. Prediction: In a fight with razor thin margins I am going to give current Champ a slight edge. Jones Jr.’s experience advantage will play a factor. "Son of a preacher man" Jim Jones Jr opens the gates of hell and unleashes a demon on General Lee. Jones Jr. winner by third round kneebar. #2 Boris Matusov (21-10) Vs. "Hanging" Chad Smith (11-6) - 170lb Welterweight Bout This will be fun. Boris Matusov has been a mainstay in the top 5 of JAG welterweight division. He has won two and a row, and considering the champ is fighting the #1 contender in the fight above, one could make the claim if Boris wins here he will get a title shot. His opponent "Hanging" Chad Smith, is new to JAG. This will be his second fight under our banner. He looked great in his debut, and won via an amazing spinning backfist. KO’s like that get you big fights and that's just what this is. A win for Chad may not mean a title shot, but he would be catapulted into the top 5. This fight is a great match stylistically. Boris has a black belt, while Chad loves to showcase his Muay Thai. Expect a dogfight that should be very exciting to watch. Mark my words, zero percent chance this fight goes to the cards. Someone will be finished. How it is finished or who is finished, all depends if Chad can defend the takedown. If Chad can keep the fight standing he wins, if he succumbs to a takedown, he will lose. Prediction: Chad successfully defends early takedown attempts and lands another vicious spinning backfist to win via KO. Fans are pleading for him to get a title shot due to his exciting back to back fishes. #5 Manuel Neuer (13-8) Vs. #4 Jacks "Devil Dawg" Sole (7-0-1) - 185lb Middleweight Bout What a huge fight. Two well rounded brawlers, both love their bjj and both can stand and bang. Jack Sole is a fearless up and coming prospect who has not yet tasted defeat. Manuel Neuer is a fiery vet who is eager to show Jack what losing tastes like. These guys have gotten pretty nasty with each other in the press conferences. Jack commenting that when you say Manuel Neuer’s name fast it sound like you are saying “sh*t” and that is exactly how Manuel fights. Manuel commented back that Jack “fights like a fairy” and “only enjoys obese women”. From there the comments got pretty weird and dark, I will spare you the details,(also, shout out to all types of women!). Prediction: In a brutal bloody slugfest where both fighters talk trash throughout their bloody exchanges, Manuel Neuer is able to slip in a rear naked choke in the 3rd. The ref is barely able to yank Manuel off of Jack as he attempts to stop the fight. Manuel then stands over Jack's unconscious body screaming, ”What does my name sound like now??!!! You fight like Sh*T!!!!”, he then spits blood on his lifeless opponent. President Nate Baker is not happy with Manuel but understands the built up emotions. No post fight discipline takes place. Rayful Edmond (9-3) Vs. Jan Sobieski (10-4) - 205lb Light Heavyweight Bout Couple of JAG vets duking it out, with the winner building some much needed momentum. Rayful Edmond has to figure he is not too far off from the top 5. Two of his last three fights were against top 5 opponents. He lost both of those matches but has won a fight since, against an unranked opponent. While Jan Sobieski is also unranked , he is very good and well rounded. He is 2-2 in his last 4 fights, all of those in JAG, and all against very tough opponents. Prediction: Expect a very well rounded fight with two professionals who come ready to throw down. Both fighters respect the other's brown belt and “agree” to keep the fight standing. They exchange vicious elbows, knees, kicks and punches for three rounds. Jan Sobieksi wins via split decision after an amazing display of heart from both fighters. Undercard This may be the most stacked undercard I have ever seen. We have legit title elimination fights and other great top 5 matchups. Show up early for this one folks, some amazing fights down there. I am very excited to see Jack Blood get back in the octagon. He rebounded nicely from his title defeat with a nice win, now he aims to make it two in a row. First fight of the night showcases a very interesting prospect in Luke Venderag, looking for him to be in a dogfight with veteran KarateO Masuta. Here is a full list of all fights on the undercard. Harri "Haulikko" Haaparanta (8-6) Vs. Jesse Juntta (7-9-1) - 145lb Featherweight Bout #4 Char Xiu (9-3-1) Vs. #2 "LIL Frog" Kron Diego (14-4-1) - 145lb Featherweight Bout #2 Jack "The Grinder" Blood (14-2) Vs. #5 Umberto "Merguez" Turturro (15-7) - 265lb Heavyweight Bout Kento Kawamata (11-5) Vs. #3 Biff "The Unemployed Nanny" Raper (19-7) - 205lb Light Heavyweight Bout #1 John "Johnny" Lawrence (14-6) Vs. #2 "Ruthless" Roy Roach (10-6) - 185lb Middleweight Bout Luke Venderag (1-0) Vs. KarateO Masuta (7-6) - 185lb Middleweight Bout JAG would like to thank all the fighters and the fans for their continuous support. We are proud to bring you this great night of fights. As usual...FIGHT ON!
  14. For this weeks fighter write up we have chosen a Madness Fighter who will be making his way to HFC very soon. Please welcome Massive Wanker. https://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=350070 Massive Wanker; More than just a Name When president J.W. Hardman told me my next assignment was to interview Madness Super Heavyweight Champion Massive Wanker, I was terrified. I didn't know much about the man, except that he was undefeated, that he was absolutely massive (he stands 7 feet three inches tall (225 cm) and weighs almost 300 pounds) and that his name implies he may be a jerk. Within about 30 seconds of meeting Massive I realized his name had absolutely no effect on the person he became. He was truly a gentleman. He answered all my questions, and even told me to call him if I ever see my childhood (current) bully again. I asked the champ a few questions about his life, his upcoming fight and his thoughts on the Madness and HFC merger. Hi Massive, great that we get to sit down and do this, tell me about how you found Martial Arts. To be honest it found me. Growing up in London people love to fight. When your name is Massive Wanker, you’ve already given them more than enough reason to fight you. Everyday I left my house I was anticipating a fight. Towards my later teen years, I was well known and respected in London. The street fights became less often but every now and then an out of towner or a drunky would square up. Eventually I started training, I mean I was fighting everyday I figured I should probably learn some proper technique. Valentina’s Ass saw one of my amatuer fights and took me under his wing. I have been training and living in Las Vegas ever since. Your name is a statement in itself, how do you feel about it? Yeah my parents have a sick sense of humour. I wont get into my childhood, family history or why they named me this, but yes, with a name like this, and the fact I am a massive individual, anytime I am around, you will know it. I embrace it, I am a massive wanker, and my name is Massive Wanker. If you show me respect, I will show you more, but if you show me disrespect, I will bash you. Madness merging with HFC, one fight left for you under the Madness banner. Everyone knows what is at stake; a shot in Madness HOF, a chance to hold the Madness 265+ Super Heavyweight title for eternity, and a guaranteed shot at the HFC 265+ Super Heavyweight title when the Madness/HFC merger takes place this summer. That being said, any difference in how you are prepping for this fight? This is all pretty crazy for me. 3 years ago I was in London fighting in the streets. Now I am being mentioned as a HOF candidate, it's just all surreal man. Am i worthy? I think so. I am also very willing to prove it. Come 5/16 I’ll be in the middle of the cage ready to fight. Whatever time and date my name is called next, I will be there too. I am only 21 years old, not time for me to get lost in legacy and HOF. Much respect to Madness and all it has done for me, now it is time to lock in and keep working. HFC is where I will be rewarded for all this hard work. Looking at your record, you currently stand 7-0, any of those fights stand out? They’ve all been pretty epic haha. That first QFC fight, I was sooo nervous. Valentina’s Ass was in the locker room with me just calming me down. Don’t know if I could have gotten into that cage if Valentina’s Ass wasn't there supporting me. Of course the back to back fights with Vasquez were pretty epic. But you know the old adage, only one fight matters and that is your next. I am locked in on Antonio Nagashima, he is the only fight that matters. Your manager Valentina’s Ass is a legend, he has a stable of top tier fighters and champions. How is your relationship with him? Yeah he is the best. I mean you hear the rumours about how he gets the most out of his fighters and you assume a lot of it is just hype but it is all true. He goes the extra mile for all of us. Flights, equipment, gyms, everything, whatever you need, you get. No surprise he manages so many champions. Pure excellence plain and simple. I simply focus on what I need to do, he lets me know exactly what that is, and EVERYTHING else is taken care of. If you could fight one person out there who would it be? One day, I want the p4p title, one day… I am not there yet. Now if I could fight anyone..., I don't know, someone fun. Really, I should say my next opponent, Antonio Nagashima, but I’ll get to fight him either way. I’d do a fun fight, there are stories of tribes in the Amazons who are masters of hand to hand combat. Often times villages will have champions that battle other local villages. I’d go there and challenge one of the village’s local legends, just see how we match up. Any comments to your fans out there struggling or facing adversity? Of course, first off, if a massive wanker like me can pull something together so can you. Be yourself, love yourself for who you are. F**K everyone else, if they are worthy they will see your worthiness. If they challenge you, accept, if you fail, try harder. It will get easier, the hard part is continuing to try. Well Thank you Massive Wanker, it has been a pleasure getting to know you. I really cannot wait for your next fight. I will be there cageside as usual, anything special I should look out for? Benjamin, glad we could catch up, I am excited about joining the HFC. President Hardman called me to introduce himself which I thought was very classy. As far as this next fight, look for relentless fight from a young man who wants to show the world what he is capable of. I am Massive Wanker, this is my destiny. I have no choice but to forge forward as hard as I can. Beautiful words from a beautiful massive man. I was terrified to take this interview with Massive Wanker, but I am so happy I did. I made a new friend and have a new badass to call when I get picked on. Everyone at the HFC is thrilled to have Massive Wanker on board and will be anticipating his debut this summer. As usual fight fans...Fight ON! -BH
  15. Pekka "Punchmaster General" Toivonen The stage was set. It was a playoff game against the cross town rival. Pekka’s team's best player just got knocked out from a brutal blind side hit. This is why Pekka was on the team. This is why people kept telling Pekka “give it one more season”, or “the skating part of the game will get easier when you are older”, truth is, none of them meant it. Pekka served one purpose for the hockey teams he played on and it had nothing to do with a puck, a hockey stick or skating. Pekka was on his team to whoop ass. Whenever anyone on the other team (or his for that matter) did something that crossed the line, Pekka’s coach would give him the word, sub him in and watch the upcoming beatdown. Story goes from ages 4-17 Pekka amassed a fighting record of 779-1. His one loss came to a local Boxing legend. Pekka was 13 at the time, the boxer was 39. They fought for 15 rounds. Pekka lost in the 16th when he got caught in a corner and eventually succumbed to 15 uppercuts. It was about 4 years later from that fight when the stage was set once again for Pekka; it was a playoff game against a cross town rival, his shithead superstar teammate just provoked a defender into delivering an illegal hit. A hit, that the referee did not see. It was time for justice, it was time for Pekka. Pekka’s coach waved him in to inevitably add one more brutal KO to his record. Except this time destiny had a plan. Pekka would do what he usually does, destroy his opponent in 2 seconds flat with a 5 punch combo (nose and jaw broken). But destiny would bring legendary fight manager Freako Wimp to that small Hockey arena in Turku Finland. Freako was watching his nephew for his sister who was dealing with a medical emergency. His nephew loved hockey, they had a 24 hour layover in Finland. Freako was heading to Las Vegas to watch a fight but had to land in Finland due to a passenger falling ill on the plane. Freako brought his nephew to a local hockey game to kill some time. What he saw blew his mind. He’s seen five punch combos before. And he’s seen guys get their nose and jaw broken, but he’s never seen it so fast and with such little effort. Freako spoke with Pekka about a future in fighting. Pekka was ecstatic. It is all he ever wanted. In Finland, people play hockey. When you tell them you want to be a fighter they say “perfect, play hockey, you can fight people all you want”. That life was never for Pekka, he wanted to be a martial artist. And with Freako’s help, that is exactly what he became. Pekka "Punchmaster General" Toivonen has taken the MMA world by storm. He started out with a lightning hot 7-0 record in MMA, in that time he also amassed a 6-1 KT record. The dudes a winner, but he didn't stop there. Since then, he has continued to dominate in MMA. He is a well rounded martial artist but his Muay Thai and Wrestling are world class. He also holds a blackbelt and can box with the best of them. He is now 21-6. He held the Empyrean (F in the chat) Middleweight Championship belt and on a different occasion he held their Light Heavyweight Championship belt. When Empyrean closed their doors Synchronicity was happy to accept Pekka into their organization. President Alex Maniatakos said this about Pekka joining Synchronicity, “First off, I've known Pekka for many years and he is a great guy on a personal level. On a professional level, when you look at his record and some of the legends he has got into the cage with, we could not be more thrilled to have a fighter of his character and caliber on our roster”. Pekka seems to be feeling right at home here in Synchronicity as it took him just two fights to claim the Middleweight Championship Belt. “Oh i feel right at home” he said, “Alex and the guys have done a great job of setting me up against other top level guys. I will fight anybody and defend this belt against any worthy opponent. I came to Synchronicity to fight the best in the world. I got the belt, who can come take it from me? Just tune in on 5/08 and you can see what happens when ol Junkyard dog tries to take my belt”. As you can see Pekka is feeling good and very excited for his Synchronicity title defense. Win or loss, Pekka has cemented himself as a legend of the game. At just 32 years old he could have many more active and productive years. Keep in mind he is still very new at synchronicity, his legacy could be adding a whole new chapter. From a hockey rink enforcer, to a worldwide elite Martial Artist, Pekka "Punchmaster General" Toivonen has proven that people can transform into the person they believe they are meant to become. Pekka always knew he was a fighter not a hockey player, people always told him the other way around. He didn't stop fighting and now it has paid off. -BH
  16. HFC 18 - Rodrigues x Slingin Get ready for a record breaking night! This event will have record hype, record attendance, possible record fastest knockout, possible record first time back to back fights finished by flying knee within 5 seconds, possible record for…okay, okay I may be getting ahead of myself. The point remains, 5/09 will make HFC history. Here are the facts. On May 9th, in historic New York City, inside the thunderous Liberty Dome, we will be hosting the highest hyped fight in HFC history. Folks, it is going to be electric. The fire department will be on hand for safety; the Governor will be on hand in case someone's knockout is so awesome he needs to give away a key to the city, we got all the bases covered. HFC President sent me a message,- “We are thrilled, big news all around! We love to make history. Great thing about this record….we get to break it over and over again”. If things keep going the way they are currently going, then yes, HFC will be breaking its own hype and attendance records for a long time. Now, let's look at the cause of all this hype...THE FIGHTERS. We have a stacked card. Welterweight title is on the line, and we have action from top fighters across multiple divisions. Let's break down the night's top fights. ©Samuel "Minuano" Rodrigues (10-0) Vs. #1 Slash Slingin "The Catch Wrestler" (10-1) - 170lb Welterweight Championship Bout Am I too bold to say this is a legit contender for fight of the year? NO, I am not too bold for saying this. We have an undefeated Champion facing his greatest challenge to date. #1 Contender Slash Slingin presents a unique challenge for the champion. Truthfully their fighting styles are quite similar. Both hold prestigious belts in bjj and both are great at wrestling. Both fighters also look to get by during standing exchanges, with hopes of getting the fight to the ground. What will happen in this fight? There's a chance the grappling will counteract and we will see these two stand and bang. However, I think we will get to see elite exchanges of grappling and some creative submission attempts. Why would one of them force the fight standing when they are both comfortable on the ground? Who knows though I am no expert in fight strategy. For the champ a win here would add to his already astounding resume. A loss, and talks of rematch would swirl immediately. Get your popcorn folks, the wait is over! Prediction: Slash Slingin cuts up Rodrigues and wins the belt via vicious gnp in the 2nd round….And New #3 Ron Burgundy (6-1) Vs. #1 Martin Alexander (7-2) - 205lb Light Heavyweight Bout There's no backing your way to a title fight in the HFC. Our matchmakers do a phenomenal job of making sure top contenders square off. I love seeing two top contenders prepping for a life changing fight. Both these guys want the Wolf (Current Champ Aaron Wolf), but there's only one spot. After this fight we will know exactly who deserves to fill that slot. Ron Burgundy will be hoping to deliver bad news by way of vicious Muay Thai. Alexander is also quite skilled at Muay Thai. This could be a stand up battle here folks. However, Alexander is a blue belt in bjj, Burgundy is only a white belt. If this fight does go to the ground Burgundy could be in trouble. Prediction: Great display of striking throughout the 1st round. In the 2nd round Alexander lands a take down and displays his bjj skills. Martin Alexander wins by 2nd round kimura. #3 "Papa Nuts" Rooga Chooga (6-2) Vs. #10 Simeoni Jukola (5-0) - 185lb Middleweight Bout Speaking of great storylines and themes, how about when a proven high ranked vet takes on an up and coming undefeated prospect? One of my favourite stories, and exactly what we have here. This fight is an absolute toss up. Both these dudes can flat out scrap. The winner of this may start thinking about a title shot. This is one of those rare fights where there is a ton to win, but whoever loses still is on a pretty solid spot. Rooga is very well rounded and will likely look to work all aspects of MMA during this bout. Simeoni is also very well rounded, but will be more comfortable grappling against Rooga. Look for this fight to be all over the place with both fighters getting some good licks in. Prediction: Simeoni continues his unbeaten streak after winning a back and forth split decision brawl. Simeoni, makes a heartfelt speech post fight that brings himself and Joe Rogan to tears. #3 "Natural" Mystic Marley (7-2) Vs. #1 Alan Ragasatria (7-3) - 135lb Bantamweight Bout Another one that has all the makings of a title eliminator. #1 Contender Alan Ragasatria is hot right now. Coming off back to back finishes, a win here will almost surely (don’t call me that) land him a title shot. All that stands in his way is "Natural" Mystic Marley. Mystic is coming off a loss to #1 contender Jack Waller, but he has revamped his training and is looking more dangerous than ever. His coaches reported their best camp ever. It will need to be. Back to back losses Vs. #1 contender and #2 contenders will put you at the back of the line for a title shot. Conversely, a win here for Mystic and he is catapulted back into all the good discussions. Matchup wise it's a good one. Both fighters like to grapple, both can hang on the feet. I believe we will see more grappling than striking but look for action all over in this fight. Prediction: Natural Mystic Marley has a great fight and gets a much needed win via 2nd round KO (Punches). The 135lb division becomes a bit more foggier. Undercard As usual a great display of talent on the HFC undercard. I have my eye on Shawn Michaels. He is an undefeated middleweight contender who has big aspirations. Also, shout out Scooter Bob, that dude knows how to party, he let me see what it was like to get suplexed...it wasn't as enjoyable as I thought it would be. I expect lots of blood and some brutal KO’s throughout this undercard. 185 lbs Ademaro Dos Anjos (5-1) v Reagan Marley (6-4) 185 lbs Shawn Michaels (6-0) v Henry Wang (6-5) 205 lbs GP Life (4-1) v Anthony Rodgers (5-3) 135 lbs Chael Bisping (6-4) v Hale Stenburg (5-2) 170 lbs Scooter Bob (3-1)v Panca Pandu (1-2) 170 lbs Sergio Vargas (2-1) v Randy Randleman (2-1) The HARDCORE Fighting Championship is so proud of all of their fighters. We also want to thank all the fans for their continued support, you make events like this possible. As usual...FIGHT ON!
  17. JAG Plus 5/09 What an evening we have planned for you! Fighters will arrive from all over the world with one intent, utter violence. Anytime the headline event has someone with the name “Neckbreaker” you know it is going to be good. As usual for JAG the whole card is stacked. Let's breakdown the events top fights. #1 Slammy Neckbreaker (17-7) Vs. #5 Aleksey "The Machine" Viktorov (14-4) - 135lb Bantamweight Bout Two high ranked Bantamweights battling it out. Both have a recent loss to current bantamweight champ. Will this win be enough to earn a rematch? Possibly, either way the winner is one step closer. Neckbreaker will try to live up to his name. He wants to wrestle. He’ll “break your neck” via vicious slams or from a nasty submission. Oh yeah, this dude can strike with the best of them, his boxing is legit. His opponent, Aleksey "The Machine" Viktorov is aware of the tall order in front of him. Viktorov is no stranger to big fights and dangerous opponents. His last fight was a 2nd round loss to the champion JoJo Diaz. This is a big fight for Viktorov, he wants to prove he belongs with the top dogs permanently. On paper Viktorov is at a big disadvantage everywhere but his bjj. Both fighters are brown belts. Can Aleksey "The Machine" Viktorov configure his mechanics to destroy the Neckbreaker? Prediction: Neckbreaker keeps this one standing and finishes Viktorov with a vicious 1st round KO. Bruce White Jr (11-8) Vs. Leo "Master of Puppets" Vuce (7-5) - 145lb Featherweight Bout When you look at these two fighters, it is a real tribute to how talented a league JAG is. Look, both these fighters have struggled recently. But both are incredibly talented. Before JAG both had near spotless records. They’ve recently been involved in some battles. It’s how JAG does it. This fight will be no different. Both guys are extremely well rounded. This fight could go anywhere. I have no idea how to predict it….but of course I will try. The winner of this gets some much needed positive momentum, a run up the rankings could be possible. Prediction: Bruce has a slight advantage in wrestling but he won’t use it. Instead this fight turns into a stand-up slugfest. By the third round both fighters are cut and battered. Bruce lands a haymaker that finishes things. Bruce White Jr. winner by 3rd Round KO. Khakim Khadzhimurad (8-1) Vs. #5 Manny "El Diablo" Perez (10-9) - 145lb Featherweight Bout Oh boy, I am really excited about this fight. First off, the featherweight division is just stacked. Secondly, these two guys are both in very crucial positions. Do not let Perez’s record fool you, he is elite for 10-9. JAG knows this and has him at #5 in the division rankings. Perez is very well rounded but likes to box. I think he will look to capitalize on that advantage in this fight. His opponent Khakim Khadzhimurad could be on the verge of something big. His last fight was his JAG debut. He proved he can hang with top tier talent and earned a split decision victory over Bruce White Jr. Khakim is also very well rounded but excels in bjj. He will want to get this fought on the ground and look to finish with a submission. If Khakim wins he will be 2-0 in JAG, and probably will move into the top 5. A title shot could be on the horizon. A win for Perez would solidify him in the top 5 and set him up for a big fight or a title shot next. This division is just stacked, lots of dangerous fighters sitting right outside the top 5. Prediction: My brain says Perez wins by 2nd round KO. However, my intuition says Khakim somehow pulls out a sneaky submission in the third after taking a beating for two rounds. I will trust my instincts, Khakim by submission in the third, book it. Phol Boxaaja (17-6) Vs. Max "Captain" Chaos (16-7) - 170lb Welterweight Bout Two uber talented fighters both coming off of their JAG debuts. Expect both guys to be making noise in the welterweight division in the upcoming months. Winner here will take a big step in the right direction. Max "Captain" Chaos has a blackbelt and is an elite wrestler. His boxing is very solid as well. This man is just dangerous. Phol is very well rounded but his specialty is striking. He is an elite boxer. Both fighters can hang in the area of their opponents expertise. This will be a really fun fight. I think the winner here gets on a win streak after this. Prediction: An absolutely chaotic fight. Phil gets to box for the whole first round. The 2nd round is filled with Chaos trying to sink in a submission from all sorts of vantage points. Fight is tied 1-1 after two rounds. In a brutal third round that sees nasty stand up exchanges Chaos eventually lands a huge takedown. With seconds to spare Chaos sinks in a rear naked choke, that sends the whole crowd into a frenzy. Max "Captain" Chaos winner by 3rd round submission. Undercard The undercard is packed with great fights. Get to the arena early to catch these. I guarantee there is at least one future champ fighting down below. My eyes are on The Can Cruncher. He is young and mean but will have a very tough task in veteran Marc Read, should be a great fight. Billy "The Kid" Cubbedge (9-5) Vs. Dimitri Buriak (13-7) - 185lb Middleweight Bout Tatu "Taittaja" Kurri (14-5) Vs. Dylan Peterson (10-2) - 170lb Welterweight Bout Marc Read (5-4-1) Vs. Captain "The Can Cruncher" Crunch (5-1) - 205lb Light Heavyweight Bout Madik MBaku (13-5) Vs. Jack Steel "Hammer" (11-5) - 265lb Heavyweight Bout Chief "Evil Spirit" Slayer (8-10) Vs. Carlos Arnoldo "Alligator" Perda Segurio (2-7) - 155lb Lightweight Bout Hayato Sakuraba (2-4) Vs. Aleksander "Olo" Kazimierz (8-14-1) - 135lb Bantamweight Bout JAG would like to thank all the fighters and the fans for their continuous support. We are proud to bring you this great night of fights. As usual...FIGHT ON! -BH
  18. HARDCORE Fighting Championship Breaking News; Acquisition of Madness MMA We have a huge announcement. Hardcore Fighting Championships will be acquiring Madness MMA. Both are top 20 organizations that are filled with talent. Madness Owner Butch Harris has done great work. He will be around as a key consultant throughout this gradual transition process. HFC President J.W. Hardman was humbled, thrilled and extremely optimistic about things to come. “Butch and I have worked together for a long time. When you show up and put the work in everyday, eventually big things come to fruition. Now, after continued efforts from Madnesss MMA and the entire HFC team, huge things are happening for HARDCORE Fighting Championships. This will mean more fighters, better fights, bigger venues, more hype and bigger paydays for everyone”. Great words from the President. The future looks very bright for HARDCORE Fighting Championship. Moving Forward: If you are a current HFC fighter things will remain essentially the same. All current contracts are still valid and all current champs will remain as such. Any scheduled HFC event will take place as planned. Over the next few months we will be integrating the Madness MMA roster into our roster. Madness MMA Champions will get title shots for HFC belts in their respective divisions. Those will be super fights! The Madness belts will not be stripped but will not be active. Madness contenders will be considered in the HFC rankings as they are integrated. For current Madness fighters, executives from both organizations will be in touch. As we said this process will be gradual. We are expecting most title fights to occur over Summer (Winter for our Southern Hemisphere Friends). Be assured you have a home at HFC. Also the MAFF belt will be transitioned to HFC, that tradition will be kept alive in honor of the pioneer Butch Harris. This is a great thing. How fun is it to be part of a fast rising organization? I will admit, it is fun at the top. But is it not even better when you start from the bottom and get to experience the rise? I think there is a song about that from one of our favourite Canadian Rappers. His name is Drake, look for him cageside at our events. Anyways I digress; at the time of me writing this article HFC is #14 in hype and Madness MMA is #18. By adding Madness’s stacked roster to HFC’s already growing organization, we have an opportunity for rapid growth. Projections show us being top ten by end of summer. Those projections were done by me in my basement with a stopwatch and a ruler but you get the point. From the entire HARDCORE Fighting Championship Team we thank you, and are excited for everyone to enjoy the good fortunes soon to come. As usual FIGHT ON! -BH

  20. We have a special write up to welcome a new talented fighter to the HFC! Dre "Deathrow" Battle https://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=350622 Dr. Dre 2001 “What’s The Difference” bumping in Dre’s headphones. He is just finishing his last set of squats. A young Dre’s future was always so uncertain, but now finally, it is all so clear. Dre “Deathrow Battle” likes to keep to himself. He only agreed to talk with me after HFC officials included this interview in his fight contract. For now Dre is an unknown commodity, but that's okay with him. “There’ll be time for all that,” he says. “My first goal is to get off probation and get my baby mama paid, once that happens you will see this star shine”. Dre was on a certain path of destruction if famed MMA manager Chris Karter didn't step in. Dre grew up in the ghetto of Los Angeles and has been fighting his whole life. He is blessed with an insane work ethic, a pure heart and some freak athletic abilities. Chris Karter was in a neighborhood he usually would never be in. On one random Tuesday, Chris wanted to save $15, so he went across town for a cheaper car wash. On the way he witnessed three men try to jump Dre for his sneakers. All three were Ko’d within 30 seconds. Chris pulled over immediately and introduced himself. It has taken years for Chris to build trust with Dre. Now, for the first time in his life, Dre “Deathrow”Battle is building some positive momentum. Reports are, he is a beast in training. Stories of him sparring are circulating through the community. He will knock you out, or take you down and gnp you. Oh yeah, he is also a purple belt in bjj. HFC Middleweight division consider yourself warned. Dre was recently signed to HARDCORE Fighting Championship and HFC president J.W. Hardman was very glad to welcome him. President Hardman said this, “We know Dre has had a tough life. He is welcome here. We have a great respect for his manager Mr. Karter, and we are excited to see Dre flourish here in the HFC.” Keep an eye out for Dre Battle’s HFC debut on 5/16 at HFC 19 Vs. Samson Komua (another young highly trained dangeroussss man). As excited as we are to see Dre make his HFC debut and begin his journey towards greatness; we know the HFC is filled with the world's most dangerous men. His journey will be a challenging one. We are all very excited to welcome Dre “Deathrow” Battle and are eager to be a witness to his upcoming battles. -BH
  21. Raven Creation Tournament Round 1 Folks if this weekend is a sign of things to come for this league then we may be witnessing the birth of something special. President J. W. Hardman was clearly ecstatic from the first round of action. “Are you kidding me?... Some of those knockouts were vicious. We’re a new organization. Fighters know when they come here they can make a name for themselves fast”. J. W. was in great spirits all weekend and was seen taking pictures with fans and participating in pre-fight events throughout Micro-Arena in Montreal. Let's Look at the first day of fights. 265+ lbs Uriah Small Defeats Pavlo Bilous Decision (Unanimous) 145 lbs Ace Boogie Defeats Yanni Laurel TKO (Punch) 145 lbs Tang Maul Defeats Katashi Suzuki Decision (Unanimous) 145 lbs Jason Wysocki Defeats Randy Warner TKO (Punch) 205 lbs Fred Kemanyo Defeats Big Bong Decision (Unanimous) 205 lbs Carlos Batistuta Defeats Randy Kt King Decision (Unanimous) 145 lbs Aly Magomedov Defeats Paulaner Salvator Decision (Unanimous) While this card had its share of decisions, we saw some amazing displays of talent. Tang Maui put on a clinchwork clinic. Even scoring a 10-8 round. In the semi-finals Tang will square off against Aly Magomedov who also won via decision. Ace Boogie was spectacular, he won one via 1st round KO and received KO of the night. He will face Jason Wysocki in the semi finals. Jason won his fight and received fight of the night honors. They both won via KO, they both got post fight bonuses...when they square up, bring the popcorn. All the fighters, both winners and losers, showed great honor. We thank Uriah Small and Pavlo Bilous for fighting on our card. They are not in our tournament but represented the organization valiantly. All other winners from this evening's fights will move on in the Raven Creation Tournament. They will be moving one step closer to their ultimate goal… a championship. The semifinal fights will be held on 5/22. See the Raven KT League forum for a full tournament bracket. The next night of Fights had an insane amount of KO’s. How in the world did president Hardman choose KO of the night on a card stacked with them? I asked and he responded,- “I went into a dark room, I put on some Grateful Dead and 45 minutes later, the answer came to me.”: Interesting tactics from the president. His decision was a great one. Micah Tavern was accurate and lethal. “Tavern connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Moody's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat!”. That blow earned him a spot in the semifinals and some extra coin from the KO of the night honor. Once again thank you to Marvin Vettori and Jorehan Krakenbreaker. Two vets showing their skills in this new league. They are not in the tournament. The rest of the winners all advanced to the semifinals on 5/22. Fight of the Night was Dom Diego beating Larry Williams in a three round battle. Dom was cut up bad but still took home the decision. We are very excited for him to square off with KO of the night recipient Micah Tavern in the semifinals. Here is all the results from the fights. 265+ lbs Marvin Vettori Defeats Jorehan Krakenbreaker KO (Punch) 170 lbs Kick Boxer Jr Defeats Gulliermo Del Torro TKO (Punch) 170 lbs Joe Subway Defeats Johnny Walker 170 lbs Hannibal Rex Defeats Moldy Peach TKO (Cut) 205 lbs Micah Tavern Defeats Joe Moody TKO (Punch) 205 lbs Dom Diego Defeats Larry Williams Decision (Unanimous) 170 lbs Chu Mi Bianfu Defeats Andrew Harrison TKO (Punch) We will see you May 22nd at The Underground Arena in Montreal. Buy your ticket now, the hype is building. Chuck Norris is reportedly sitting cageside. Keep in mind 5/22 is not the end. Yes, the losers will have to face the challenging lows of defeat. The winners will get the joy of victory. However, they will have to maintain their emotions as the mission is not yet complete. The finals will be following shortly. Championships are earned not given. Please see Raven forum for tournament bracket and league updates. Raven KT league is proud to bring you these events...AS usual FIGHT ON!
  22. I have an elite gym in Sydney that would like a nutrition partner. PM me if interested please.
  23. Madness 46 MAMF Championship Montreal we have an amazing event prepared for you this evening. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has called the event “a win for Canada as a nation”. He has instructed all employers to allow their employees the day off from work. Let's Take a closer Look at the Main Event and The Co- Main event "The Conjurer" Olyn Seran will duke it out for 5 rounds (if needed) Vs. Pinero Chai. Both Olyn and Pinero have championship history in their background. Tonight one of them will get a chance towards redemption, as league President Butch Harris said “Winner Seran vs Chai is #1 contender no question. Those guys have worked their tails off and realistically each deserve a shot. It's tough only one will get it but that is the game we play”. This #1 contender fight is shaping up to be great. Pinero’s stand up game is otherworldly. Seriously, he reminds me of something out of MIB III. Olyn will have to try and get this fight on the ground. Olyn has the advantage in bjj, he will have to capitalize on that. Co-Main Chris Travis Vs. Talph McGuire- 5 rounds, 10 Minute Each Round Are you kidding me??!! 10 minute rounds….5 of them???!!! I already asked and yes there will be increased medical personnel at the event. This will be a war of attrition. Winner deseringly receives Mad Ass Mother F**ker Belt. Two guys stepping into the ring with the sole purpose of violence. They aren't going after your traditional championship belt. NO, they want the one that says, anyone, anywhere, anytime….I am just that crazy. Good news, both guys like to stand and bang. I expect bombs being thrown both ways. No way this thing goes 50 minutes. I am hoping for an epic slugfest with an all time KO around the 38 minute mark. Below are the rest of the fights for the evening. We are expecting fireworks, thunder and lightning. Bring an umbrella and a fire extinguisher. It will be MADNESS. 145 lbs Gorgon Patriot v Marcello Sosa-(#1 ContenderFight) 170 lbs Dyami Yazzie v Kamaru Usman 265+ lbs Augustus Hippobody v Jore Maki 145 lbs Lorenzo Benedetti v Nati Pisswater 265+ lbs Ben Wood v Blinky Billy 170 lbs James Howlett v Cadderly Bonaduce 145 lbs Cung Wo Par v Joe Hooks 135 lbs Dar Jee v Grigori Perelman
  24. HFC Bloodbath 1 Oh my, oh may. Hilo, that's right Hilo,Hawaii we are coming, and quite frankly we are very excited about it. President J. W. Hardman already approved my request for a pool facing balcony room and I heard the resort has bottomless Pina Coladas. While I will be indulging the fighters all have serious tasks on their hands., Hilo will serve as a battle ground once again. HFC matchmaker Igor Peixoto was ecstatic to bring such a stacked card to Hilo. “We love this place, the fans, the energy, the food. Certain fighters seek these types of events out. You can see it on fight night. Conversely, Island haze is real. The long flights, island distractions, if you are not locked in, come fight night it shows. I expect a lot of crazy fights, with unexpected endings”. I agree with Igor, this card has all the makings for unexpected finishes and a wild night. Let's take a look at the line-eup. 185lbChampion Rob Tanner (9-1) vs #1 Contender Hefty "Lumber" Jack (7-1) - 185lb Championship Bout To be straightforward, Rob Tanner has just been knocking everybody out. He’s riding a brilliant 6 fight win streak, all by KO or TKO. He is a Muay Thai fighter and will look to make it 7 KO’s in a row in this fight. His opponent will be a “Hefty” task. Hefty "Lumber" Jack has only had one loss and could kryptonite for Tanner on the ground. Hefty is a great wrestler and has a solid bjj game. His standup still needs to be developed. Keep in mind Tanner also has some sneaky good bjj that he can utilize. This has the makings of a classic, edge has to go to the champ but the challenger has legit shot here folks. Prediction: First round is back and forth with the champ landing shots early but conceding a takedown and receiving some gnp for the rest of the round. At the start of the second the champ connects with a brutal combo of punches that ends the fight. Rob Tanner Winner by KO (punches). The champ snatches the mic from Joe Rogan after the fight and makes a beautiful tribute to Hawaii. #2 Gunner "Gunni" Larsson (11-4) vs #3 Manolito Tai Kung (6-1) - 170lb Bout What a great fight that really needs to happen. Look both guys lost to current 170lb champ Samuel Rodrigues. That happens you can dwell or move on. Now both guys get a chance at redemption. Whoever wins, could get a title shot, a title eliminator fight, or another top 3 opponent. All really good things. Matchup wise this is very similar to the one above. We have two solid bjj practitioners who each have a specialty elsewhere. Kung is an exceptional Muay Thai practitioner and wants to strike. Larsson will look to wrestle and gnp. Who’s agenda will be adhered too? Prediction: Kung does damage with his hands, feet and elbows. However, Larsson manges to secure a big takedown in the 2nd round and gnp his way to victory. #5 Cranky Smith (6-0) vs #7 Rodrigo "The Black Mamba" Lima (7-3) - 145lb Bout Two top ten featherweights duking it out. The winner takes a nice step forward towards a title run. Two people with the same agenda here. Both want to wrestle and both will look for submissions. Expect high level grappling displayed throughout. Prediction: Cranky Smith throws a tantrum and chokes out Lima in the second. Post fight, Smith gets emotional on the mic saying he didn't get his traditional pre-fight nap and therefore was feeling a little “cranky” otherwise he would have won in the first round. RJ Cain (6-2) vs Ivar "Boneless" Lothbrook (4-3) - 170lb Bout On paper Cain should have no trouble at all with this fight. Cain is an amazing boxer but also has a some really solid ground game. Lothbrook is great at bjj but could have his handsfull in all other aspects of the fight. Prediction: Cain does what he came here to do. He makes short work of Lothbrook with some nasty punches in the first. Cain the calls for a top ten 170lb fighter claiming he is already better than anyone outside the top 5... Undercard Look below, what do you see? A list of killers my friends. We will watch all of these and keep you updated on the results. President Hardman is a generous man. Undercard performers are eligible for KO of the Night, Fight of the Night and Submission of the night. 135 lbs Ruddo Ryokale v Funky Colemadina 205 lbs Naizen Kamenashi v Benny Conan 185 lbs Vince Hollaway v Manu Tau 185 lbs Camron Jones v Kelly William 185 lbs Ralo Gracie v Rashid Rubson 145 lbs Preston Patterson v Red Pablono Hilo, we are honored to bring you this event. May all the fighters bring with them the spirit of a Champion. From all of us at HFC...Fight On!
