  1. Just do what I do. Whether in the game or in real life, when someone kicks me in the leg, I kick them in the teeth. Seems to solve the problem.
  2. By the way, good eye on the George Carlin call. I recognized him right away too. RIP Mr. Carlin. You were awesome, especially in Shining Time Station, lol, my sister used to LOVE that show!~
  3. I am starting an ORG soon and could use some more start up cash. I will have about 200K to start, but could use the extra money. But you know what? No big deal if you decide not to give it to me. It's your money and your call, there is probably someone who needs it more. Cheers and good on you for doing this!~
  4. No. Nobody did. It's not life or death, just weird, and it sucks for the fighter.
  5. Well, I guess that NC will be on his record forever, lol.
  6. I don't like setting different tactics ahead of time to change how you fight each round. That could really screw things up, but if you don't like it then you could set all 3 or 5 rounds to the exact same tactics and not have to worry about it while still allowing someone who would use it the option to change between rounds therefore I am in favour of it, I just probably won't use it myself, yuo could even put in a tick box saying set all rounds the same to make it easire for us lazy people, lol. I DO HOWEVER, like the idea that if I am standing and banging and I come out on the losing end badly in round one that I could set a plan B or even a plan C if my tactics seem to be losing the fight. Example, some A@@ clown counter/acc's me all first round or lay and pray's me, I can set plan B, take him down heavily or increase my subs option to combat lame tactics. Just a thought.
  7. Hey Mike, any idea on what happened here? Or are you still looking into it?
  8. Actually, I only got an offer for the first event, I was sure this was the date, but then when I looked on the day, it said it was the next day, so I figured I just remembered the date wrong, so I decided to squeek in one more training session as my energy would allow it, but then he had the fight on the day I orginally thought it was and then again the next day. The org owner has no idea what happened, I already talked to her about it.
  9. Take a look at this fighter. http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=77780 The date changed on his fight, I put him to train one session on afternoon 08/06/11 because of this and the fight takes place while he trains even thought the date said it was the next day. He loses, possibly due to this bug and training at the same time, then the next day, he fights again, but gets a NC as he couldn't make weight when his energy was sooooooo low. Let me know what happened?!?
  10. It should have amateur fights auto generated immediately after fighter generation ONLY if you selected "has extensive amateur record" in his optionals during creation. They should be 1 round only win or lose and should show as his record until his first pro fight. This would show you a little of his skills as a base for fighter building during training and you should get a slight bonus for alocating points during creation to show his experience vs. somebody with no amateur history. I think Mike may like this idea if we could work out the details and if it's not a pain to code.
  11. Hey bro, I don't need that much cash, it would make the game no fun for me, but I could use maybe 50K so I can get completely out of debt with my company and maybe actually have a little bit on hand for emergency use. Cheers and way to leave so gracefully. Peace.
  12. I still say a slider for throwing feints so you can effectively counter their bs countering/accuracy strategy and also refs warning/deducting/dq'ing fighters who do not engage in a fight just like in real life would solve the problem.
  13. I suppose this should be on Error Reporting, but on the Spoiler Page, I'm not 100% sure what a Montor system is?!? LoL. Spell Check bro, spell check. Cheers!~
  14. I still like my idea of a slider for throwing feints to bait a counter striker in and then taking his head off. This will cause the first death in MMA TYCOON, LoL.
  15. I never post on the forums, but I often take a look at what is going on. Here is the simple solution to aggro vs counter. Number 1 and only 1: setting 100% counter should not mean you actually counter 100% of the time, whether your opponent hits or misses, just as 100% accuracy doesn't mean they hit every shot they throw. In real life lame ass counter punchers with no power aka Michael Bisping, etc., do not counter every time as they know they are leaving themselves open to a counter-counter, if you will..... even KO kings like Liddell who was a counter puncher did not counter every shot, watch him and others, they take their time trying to get the right angle, distance and timing down. Playing the counter game in real life is very risky unless you have a chin, cause if someone times your counter with a feint, you get KTFO. Therefore, 100% counter should only actually counter maybe 10-20% of the time. Furthermore, them avoiding contact constantly and dodging around the cage while not engaging should A-) be scored very very low by judges and the more aggressive fighter has effective cage control, therefore scores higher and B-) The counter/runner strategy as stated above with only 10-20% of time actually engaging should have the ref give warnings for not engaging, evading, etc. until there is a point deduction and then finally a DQ for the evader. If a guy does not fight in real MMA, he is warned, warned again, loses a point and then is DQ'd. Plus as stated above even an agressive power puncher should be able to throw feints to draw his opponent into countering, leaving that 100% counter douche to get blasted in the chops. I think adding a feint slider may be another way to help along with the losing points from the judges and the ref, etc.... So there you have it. PM me in game if you think this is a good idea, as I won't be on the boards for a while here. WildBoar - AKA Seamus O'Connell 19091. Cheers!~
  16. On Behalf of Holden McLoughlin I have been issued this statement: "I look forward to tough competition in this organization and hold high regards to my fellow fighters in my weight class. That said, prepare for an ass kicking. Cheers!~" Well, I guess we know he had his Wheaties this morning! Bye for now!
  17. Hello all, I have the following statements prepared from each of my fighters: On behalf of Michael McKay: "I would like to thank the RCJ and my manager for all the faith they have put in me. I know that I am not improving at the pace I should and I have accepted the fact that I may well face being dropped from active competition. I managed to pull off a hard fought victory in my last fight, but if I can not dominate in my next fight, I hereby guarantee my retirement. I will do my best to prevent this, but if this is the last you hear from me, it was a pleasure." On behalf of Seamus O Reilly: "Wow, what can I say. I was rolling along hoping for a title shot in the near future when I guess I took everything lightly and I overlooked my opponent. I paid the price big time and ended up getting an ass kicking. Once I have fully recovered from my injuries, I intend to re-dedicate myself to improving as best as possible and stepping up my training. I promise I will not ever look past an opponent again and earn back the respect of my fellow fighters." On behalf of Aodhan o hAodha: "After my successful debut I hope I sent a message to my fellow competitors that I have arrived and I will be taking this organization by storm, a fire storm that is. With respect to my defeated opponent I offer these words of encouragement, do not let this lesson be wasted, work hard and you will obtain redemption, but only if you seek it with an open heart and mind. The spirit can be hurt, but never beaten and never subdued. To my future opponents, The Man has come to town. Fire, Fire, Fire........" And slightly off topic for this organization, I have the following statement from another fighter in my stable, Holden McLoughlin: "Hello brothers in the RCJ, After a short stint in another organization, I thought long and hard about joining by fellow training partners in the RCJ when an offer I could not refuse was given to me by a highly reputable source...... on the sometimes impatient and often ridiculous advice of my manager, I took the offer before speaking with the RCJ brass and am now locked into a 5 fight deal. With no disrespect to my current organization as they are a great bunch, when that deal is done, if I do not have gold around my waist, I would be priviledged to join you, the RCJ, whom I believe is the future of the fight game in NYC." Ahem, well, at least I don't censor my guys statements.... a little harsh, but Holden is right, the people he is dealing with now are a great group, but his heart wishes he could have been with his stablemates.... my bad.... That is all for now, good luck to all!
  18. On Behalf of Aodhan "Áed" o hAodha, I have been issued the following statement: "It may have been a long time coming, but I am finally prepared to make my long awaited debut in the RCJ within the next few weeks. I believe that my extensive amateur career speaks for itself. Though most of my fights have taken place in the basement of pubs back home, die hard MMA fans know that I come with a dedication that is unmatched and a skill set unparalleled. When the chants of 'fire fire fire' die down, you know The Man has come to town. "The flames of hell propel me and the mana of heaven nourishes me. There will be no room for error when judgement is handed down."
